The vision was to install 8 large windows to enclose and convert our screened in porch to a home office. Kevin gave us a professional, detailed, an honest presentation that checked all the boxes. I cannot comment on installation service yet, my screen porch will not be added until Q1 2022, however the salesman was fantastic. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable on their products. We wrote up what we wanted, and a few days later called due to an issue with the design. He was prompt to come back out, redesigned the porch and I couldn’t be happier with the final specks. The design team came out the next day to write up the official design - and they were just as knowledgeable and professional. So far, so good. Can’t wait for the porch!

Shane Rough was our factory representative that presented and quoted a sun room addition to our brick house. He was very professional and absolutely knew what he was talking about. His company offered nothing but quality. The cost of the addition is more than we expected and since we are both retired we will have to do more research. Champion converted screen porch to an amazing sun room I can use year round. So much morning sun comes in through big windows and the view is great. Worst experience ever. Sales guy lied about multiple things (which I found out about much later), took half of the amount owed as a “down payment” and promised the work would be done in 7 weeks. Contract stated 7-10. 10 weeks came and went. We tried for three weeks (starting at week 8) to call to get an update and see when our installation date would be. No one returned any of our calls or emails. Out of frustration, I filed a claim with BBB (go read the claims…lots of similar experiences!) and filed a chargeback. Then, the next day, guess who calls us? So I am currently in dispute with them and struggling to get our money back. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Even if they are at fault, they will try to keep 30% of your money!

I am reviewing the sales experience only as no work has been done yet. The sales rep was knowledgeable and took the time to really explain the design features. She did not apply any pressure or push to buy which helped to make the whole experience enjoyable. They were on time for both the sales appointment and the follow-up measurement appointment. They have been in contact with us several times to update us on who the installation manager will be. He reviewed the project and was able to save us several thousand dollars on our sliding glass door installation. So far great service.

This is the third time Champion Windows was contracted to install windows in my home. The first two installations were completed in a workmanlike manner and with total professionalism.Today the 16th of October 2021 the installers failed to cover my hardwood flooring in the work areas and when approached as to why there was no tarp, the response was a blank look. As the homeowner I placed an old sheet on the floor for protection. The installer cut the framing and instead of placing same on the grass or railing decided the screen to the patio was the better option until I requested the framing be moved and placed on the grass.I called Champion to inform customer service of my concerns and customer care assured me someone would call me directly to discuss any installation difficulty. The call was placed at 9:00 am and I am still waiting for a call back from a supervisor at noon. It is apparent the situation on the ground is not important to the field supervisor.This particular installation has tarnished my trust in Champion Windows.

Briwqs very knowledgeable and explained the whole process with great examples. Champion offers significant flexibility and value for the money. They even wrap the windows to match or come close the accents and colors of your existing exterior features for free!

We hired Champion for construction of a 3-season room a few months ago. Overall, we were not pleased with the final quality of the product, especially considering the cost. Our main issues are as follows:-Cleanliness of construction site: The builders assembled the base deck walls, and roof on site in our back yard. They apparently never put down a tarp or cleaned up waste materials. I have found metal shavings, screws, pieces of shingle, and other random pieces of construction garbage that was left behind. See the pictures for a small sample. I picked up what I could, but Im constantly finding more. So much for going barefoot in the back yard.-Trim work: I think the photos speak for themselves. The trim pieces were not cut to meet flush together for a seamless finish, but were instead sloppily cut and jammed together.-Leaking: The sunroof leaks. Ive had some roofers come out to look at it and we added silicone that seems to have worked for now, but Im not sure where the problem is exactly.-Damage to windows and walls: Many of the prefabricated pieces had blemishes on them, either from storage, shipping, or construction. Staining and marker marks (from installers measuring) we were able to mostly wipe off, but there are also some scratches in the metal that well have to live with. One of the windows also had paint splatters on it.-Painting: Construction required removing an outcrop from the exterior wall. We were assured that the final result would blend in with our painted brick exterior. Instead, they used spray paint to partially cover the exposed brick and left the exposed brick behind a gutter that was moved completely untouched.-Stairs: Some loose treads that Im in the process of reinforcing.-Locking mechanisms: Several of the locks for the sliding doors didnt actually work, but the electricians on the job (who were both GREAT) helped get most of those working. One lock still doesnt close properly.We do like the space, but the finished product quality wasnt what we expected. We have had to spend additional time and money to correct many of the issues we had. Ill leave it to others to view the photos for themselves and draw their own conclusions. I do want to reiterate that the electricians (and the sales staff) were friendly and helpful.I should also note that it does tend to get extremely hot in the summer. We put up curtains and that helped far more than the glass Champion uses.

If you are considering a seasonal porch enclosure or anything else they provide, I cannot say enough positives about Champion Windows of Charlotte. I had received multiple quotes, ranging from extremely out of my price range to questionable materials and workmanship. From the quoting process to completion, everything went very smooth. From the details of the quoting by Kevin, I was able to see upfront the products they used and support, which had reassured my decision. When work started, I must say, I was nervous at first as this was a big investment. When the extremely meticulous installers showed up and started working, Greg and Richard definitely put my mind at ease! They explained every step of the process, what to expect each day they were onsite and their daily cleanup was amazing. They take pride in their job and you can see it each step of the process. The finished product, I am over the moon pleased! Once the floors are installed, I will be able to enjoy my wonderful backyard views! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

We had a screened in porch but it was unusable for a good part of the year. We had Champion turn it into a year-round sunroom (enclosed porch) with 2 sliding glass doors and 3 sliding glass windows (all with screens). We added a separate heating/air conditioning unit and now we use the room every single day no matter the temperature or the weather. We cant say how happy we are with the finished product, the professionalism of the salesman (Kevin) and the gentleman who came to measure and answer our many additional questions (Mark) and the technicians who did the install under very trying circumstances (we were just about to go into a stay-at-home order due to Covid-19 and at that point no on knew if theyd be able to continue to work) so they even worked on a Saturday to finish the job just in case. My husband and I most highly recommend Champion. BTW, my son and daughter in law had Champion add a sunroom to their home over an existing deck and the transformation is remarkable. Not only do we all have a lovely addition to our homes but it has increased the value remarkably.

Offered a $20 discount for a review which didnt make me feel the most confident when they were raving about said reviews but although we went with a different company they provided great customer service at the local office. This is a revision of my earlier review, which had been posted at the urging of the sales rep at the time of sale. At that time (July), we were promised install of a new entry door within 10-14 weeks (but probably sooner, according to the sales rep). Its now November, and we are still waiting for them to tell us where in the process the door is -- or if it has even been started. We can get no meaningful information from them, other than that we will be contacted as soon as the door is received. We have no idea whether that means a week, a month, or a year. Totally fed up.

Overall a good experience replacing three windows and a sliding glass door. The sales process was low pressure. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is that the installation team had a scheduling mix up and didn’t show up on the day I had a confirmed appointment (after I had rearranged my entire calendar that day for them to be there) and we had to find a new day.

Had them out for an estimate which led to a contract for services. Scheduling the appointment was a breeze on the website and the rep showed up on time and was thorough and very professional. Couldnt get a quote for 1 garden window without going through an in-home 90 minute presentation. After the guy took a few measurements he wanted to sit down at the kitchen table for 90 minutes. Told him I didnt need a 90 minute presentation, I just needed a quote. I told Champion through multiple text and emails leading up what I needed. Mark spent quality time going over my wants and needs out of deciding project. Was very detailed walking the exterior of the property pointing out every detail that would be happening. Then spent time with me going over finance options. Was very flexible in is willingness to bounce color combinations and detail combinations during our meeting.

I was on their website to check out their products - just surfing. Within five minutes, I received an email soliciting my business. Creeped out is the best way I can describe how I feel right now. Thanks but no thanks.

Part one of this review is just the sales process. Since we did opt to make the purchase of our windows and door from Champion, well be back in 8 to 10 weeks to update on the installation process and then Ill come back a year after that to update on how the stuff is holding up.We had reached out to three different vendors for quotes and I wont embarrass them by naming the other two here. The first arrived on time but we had to chase him down to get the full quote. The second called 30 minutes prior to his appointment and rescheduled. The third was Mark from Champion.We were very pleased with Mark. He was professional, thorough, passionate about his product and completely knowledgeable. At first, we thought that all he had was a binder with slides but he also brought in a full demo kit. How do you demo windows, might you ask? He had samples and a heat lamp to show how much they filter and reflect. he also has cross sections of windows and a full double-hung window with screen to show. Interesting!We went through options, added a few other things and finally, he calculated a total price. It was a lot but actually landed close to what we had budgeted. Yes, that included the if you buy it today discount. There is the usual three day right to cancel clause in the contract. So we signed and were buying thirteen windows and a new front door and some siding repair work from Champion. After sleeping on it last night and thinking more this morning, we are happy with this purchase.We liked the sales process (three and a half hours is a bit long but were doing it thoroughly!) and their true factory manufacturing ownership process and the fact that the installers are employees and not contractors. That last part is important because it means there cant be any finger pointing later in case the windows arent installed properly. Oh, and some of this work is guaranteed for as long as I own the house (with one transfer if I ever sell) and some is for the lifetime of the house. Thats a solid guarantee. Yes, we were sold to but we knew it the whole time and went right along.Looking forward to a new front door, new windows and new siding!

John came in to our home and made an amazing presentation from showing the details of the sunroom to the quality of construction and design. He was concise on every detail. I was hoping that the cost of my room would be little lower but after realizing how hands on Champion was from the manufacturing to the construction, I felt secure that all the steps that had to be taken with this project would be handled by Champion and that they could not only handle this task, but that I could sleep at night knowing we were in good hands. So excited for my new room I could not be happier. Thank you Champion and thank you John Manzo.

Had our initial meeting today with Shane (our Champion Factory Representative). Shane was very professional and knew the products Champion had to offer. He was very helpful in helping us decide the configuration of our future sun room. We are very excited to continue working with Champion.

He gave honest answers and didn’t try to sell anything we didn’t need. Financing was very easy. I’m so excited to have the finished product. I will add to review when my sunroom is completed.
