I had been looking for a replacement entry door for several months when I found Clark Hall on instagram and loved the craftsmanship and beauty of their products. I reached out and to my disappointment learned that CH does not install in West Virginia where I live. Determined to find a solution, my husband and I made the 5 hour trip to Charlotte to see the doors in person and discuss any options for installation. Stephen Myers with CH gave us a tour of the showroom and warehouse where they are custom made but again said the only possibility to make it happen would be to hire an installer to make the trip to WV but that he wouldn’t make any promises. Thankfully he referred us to Steve Szczesek! From the first time I talked to Steve I could tell he was a problem-solver and was the right person for the job. Upon learning that one of our goals was having our front door installed in time for my daughters upcoming wedding at our home, he assured me that he would do all he could to help us accomplish this goal and he did!! He drove from Charlotte to measure for the door and when the glass was delayed he offered up a solution of temporary glass so we could still have it for the wedding! One week before the wedding he returned to install and even though the removal of my existing door was the most difficult he’d ever encountered, he completed the install with temporary glass and no one knew the difference on my daughter’s wedding day! It truly was the most perfect backdrop for one of the most important days in the life of our family and we had Clark Hall and Steve Szczesek to thank for making it happen!!

We recently had our wood front door, side lights and top radius replaced with a set of steel doors from Clark Hall. Simply put, the doors are awesome. They updated the look of the house and created a centerpiece entryway. Customers please be aware as these are beautiful Doors I purchased one and they do make a huge transformation. My door is in excellent condition, seldom used. However, when I called and spoke with 3 different people getting the run around each time. Terrible Custoner Service. I was told that they could not incurr the cost of a defective glass they installed and it would cost $800. I kindly told the guy we will see them in court.

They have modernized the look and feel of our older home, and literally, have become the bright spot(s) in our days! WOW. I don’t know where to start. He’s smart, sharp and very personable. He and his crew were meticulous installing our doors and windows. First, the windows, which were not easy. Again, older home, nothing square, and hidden fun like concrete cinder block with slimmer framings to figure out. However, with each challenge, he figured out a solution – and I mean EVERY time. Second, the doors. One of our jams was a challenge but they tackled and it turned out so beautiful. Our iron doors swing smoothly and the click of the locking point connections make them purr like a kitten! All this means our installation week turned into about two, which would have left most other companies hustling to “just get it done.” But not Josh. He stayed, took his time, did quality work and made things right. Additionally, he came back after a couple weeks of everything settling to do one last run through and adjust the little things.We aren’t the only ones enjoying. With plenty of neighbors out walking these days, so many have stopped to look, point and smile – and our neighbors across the street came over to specifically asked who did our project because they want show-stopping front doors too. The door itself is beautiful. We have simply found that their after-sales support is weak. Twice now we have called with issues, and the first time we had to drive to the store to get them to respond. We have another issue now, have sent an email and left a voicemail, still awaiting a reply.

Weve had a wonderful experience with this company. We got the replacement doors and transoms we wanted, in the time frame they specified installed by a very professional and expert craftsman. Couldnt ask for better.

What an awesome, first rate experience. Everything was handled very professionally from meeting Gary at the showroom (on a Sunday!) to the design process, measure process and install process. These doors are not only beautiful but are like a Sherman tank --- extremely heavy and durable. At our last house we had a Honduran Mahogony door which was beautiful but required lots of maintenance --- this door is as beautiful but does not require costly maintenance. This is a white glove, custom process that is hassle free and when finished will transform your entry door into a work of art.

Very helpful with lots of options and quality products. If you want customization, this would be the place to go.

Let me start by saying the initial interaction with Gary, installation, and product are top notch! My frustration is with their service after purchase. I have been trying to get them to service my door for the past (2) months!
