This was only the second time ever buying from a dealer and we were extremely pleased with how professional yet laid back Jason was. I read all, I mean all, of the reviews and felt what few complaints there were related to mis-communication. However, our experience was that Jason was very communicative and assured us he wouldnt show the car until after we viewed in the following day. We drove 5 hours from VA and after test driving for almost 1 hour, we loved the car and Jason processed our paperwork in about 30 min! We were back on the road with a like-new 2018 Subaru Outback and absolutely love the car. The price we negotiated was exceptional and I feel the entire experience was worth the 10-hour round trip. We highly recommend Jason and Good Motives.

Purchased a 2003 911 from Jason. Admittedly, we were a little skeptical about the car, however the vehicle was as described. I even delayed my review for a bit just to make sure I didn’t have any major issues. Although I have repaired a few things with the car, they are usual issues with this vehicle and we didn’t expect it to be perfect. Car runs great which was our biggest concern. Overall, we are very pleased with the experience. Jason has a lot of positive reviews and we understand why now.

All we had to pay was for the van and the taxes. Plates and title were mailed. He is so easy to work with and the car is as advertised . I bought a car from them 7 months ago. It was such an easy process that I almost felt like one of the car commercials where i missed the drama of it all. :)I am a researcher and deal hunter. I first went to Good motives to test drive the car with my husband. It was a nice no pressure experiance. I then purchased my own car fax even though they offered it there for free and all checked out.I then compared several similar cars online and none of them came close to the price for the mileage...but being me that I am I also went and test drove similar trim packages.After all my hunting, searching, test driving, and driving my husband crazy..we called Good motives and ran up there next day to get my car!!!! Again so easy and took only minutes instead of hours at other dealers.Also bonus that I didnt know at the time was they put brand new tires on the car as well!!Now 7 months later still love the car and not a thing wrong with it.

Jason went out of his way to work around our schedule and offered to drive a good bit out of his way to meet us since we were traveling from the Columbia SC area to Charlotte NC just to see the vehicle. I bought a Nissan Frontier from Jason at Good Motives about a month ago. From beginning to end, it was a smooth, painless experience. Jason was great to work with and was very accommodating while setting up the test drive and working around my schedule. About 2 days after i bought the truck, a u-joint in the rear drive shaft failed. I called Jason, and within 5 hrs, it was at the shop being replaced under warranty, and i had it back within 3 days. Searched around the entire market within 500 miles of Charlotte and Jason turned out to be one the cars I was that came up. When I first spoke with him, he described the condition as new. I thought this was your typical dealer speak. Not the case at all. I was floored when I saw the car and it really was like new off a show room floor. I cant say enough about Jason and my experience from a guy who is usually skeptical about things in general. Nothing says as much about a guys character as when things dont go quite as planned. Well, Jason had new tires put on the vehicle. Turns out the shop that put them on specd the wrong tires for the rear. No questions asked, Jason said he will replace all 4 tires and make it 100%. Again....Cant say enough about his commitment to the customer. Would recommend 100%!

I pointed this out and the owner said that since he told me the car had Bluetooth hed mail me a new stereo system that has blue tooth. I got the new stereo a week or two later. Please be aware of this dealer. The car was listed on cargurus for 10 days which should have been thoroughly checked before listed for sale. I got financed through the bank and Jason knew what was taking place. Just so happened the day before I picked the check up from the bank he made the comment someone else is coming to look at it so I hope it is still here..Well I called several times to find out when we could meet with car and never got a phone call back but hours later I got a text. The text stated the car has issues and he has to run it through the car auction. Well little does he know I am aware the car was sold. He tried to smooth it over by sending me a pic of a typed up letter from a so called car care center. Anyways, so dont waste your time having your credit pulled to get financed for a vehicle through Good Motives. Very unprofessional dealer.

Was a positive experience . Got the car I was looking for . Called and made an appointment and the seller kept his word as I was coming from South Carolina . Meet with the seller and test drove the car . Then went back to my bank with all the necessary paperwork to purchase the car the next couple of days . As the seller said when I was ready for the signing over the car with the check from my bank and the rest of the papers he had, he meet me and my husband at a safe and orderly place of business . The owner Jason and I agreed to meet so I could look over the vehicle. The day of our meeting Jason cancelled, the next day he put the vehicle in the shop due to mechanical issues it was having. A week goes by and no response so I take it upon myself to call Jason the owner. Jason tells me he just got the vehicle out of the shop so we agreed for me to come down two days later while I was in area but Jason the owner agreed to send me a text or phone call with new price since having work done which I agreed. Jason the owner never gave new price but text me that he sold the vehicle that day. Jason the owner then sends me a text offering me another vehicle which I declined. I called and spoke to Jason the owner and he said he sold since I did not give a deposit however Jason the owner seems to forget that the day I was to give deposit and look at vehicle he cancelled our meeting. Do not deal with this guy he is no better than the scammers on Craigslist. Cancelled meeting then sold vehicle out from under me, we have been talking back and forth for over a week about me buying this vehicle. WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM GOOD MOTIVES!

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. I bent over backwards to accommodate this small business owner, however I was treated poorly, disrespected, mislead and was told lies.First off, I should have paid attention to the fact that most of the reviews for Good Motives were written by people who havent reviewed any other companies.I spoke with Jason over the phone about a 2016 Ford Fusion. He was very pleasant and we set up an appointment to meet, test drive the car, and complete the purchase. He asked when I would be comfortable completing the purchase and I told him that assuming the car had no issues when I saw it in person that I would be fine completing the purchase then and there on Saturday.When I arrived at Good Motives, the location seemed a little run down and only had the Fusion that I was looking for and one other car on the lot. I gave Good Motives the benefit of the doubt though. Jason came out in jeans and a hoodie to greet us.He first asked what I was planning on doing with my current car. His website states We welcome any trade and offer higher values for your car. So I I told him that I was looking to sell it. He didnt seem interested and instead told me that I should sell it on Craigslist.He let me go for a test drive while he stayed at his shop. The car was spotless, it drove well and was a pleasure to drive.When I got back we started to talk about the price. I had mentioned that the website lists the car at 7,201 miles and now there were 9,454 miles on the car. I told him that wouldnt be comfortable paying what he was asking when now that about 2,200 miles have been added to the car in about a month that he mentioned he had the car. He came down a little on the price, but didnt seem to much to care that I was mislead online and on the phone about how many miles the car had.When we finally agreed on a price, he asked when we could do the paperwork to complete the sale. I told him that I was ready to sign the papers like I had mentioned a few days before on the phone. He asked if I brought cash, because the banks were all closed by this time on Saturday. I mentioned that his website says he offers financing with interest rates as low as 1.74%. He said he doesnt offer financing but instead referred me to Truliant bank. At this point I was a little upset because he failed to mention this when we were on the phone setting up the appointment.I told him that I would go shop around and find a loan that suited me and that I work Monday through Friday and live about 1.5 hours away, but I could secure a loan and complete the purchase the following Saturday. He was pushy and didnt want to wait until then. I then asked him to send me the information about the representative at Truliant bank and I would work on the loan as soon as possible. I offered to meet him one day after work as soon as I was approved if that would be better for him. He said that would be fine and to call him as soon as I got approved. He sent me an email with the Truliant representatives information that night.I shopped around online for loans when I got back home and found a few possible lenders. He sent me a text Sunday morning asking if I had received his email the night before with the Truliant reps information. It was Sunday and I was spending time with my family, so I didnt respond until I got home that night. When I got home Sunday night, I got an email that I was approved for a loan. I emailed Jason back telling him that I had been approved and I could meet him any day after work.Monday morning (about 36 hours after our meeting) he sent me an email stating that the car had already been sold to another party.I would not recommend this dealer to anyone.
