Our salesman, Jeff, was wonderful! He went over everything on the car while checking it out. After purchasing it, he followed up via phone calls and text messages to make sure everything was okay. He answered all of our questions, and did it in a timely manner.The reason that I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the manager dismissing me when I pointed out that people werent wearing masks. They had signs stating that everyone is required to wear them. I talked to an employee about it, and they ignored me. I then spoke with the manager, who said he would look into it. My husband pointed out the people who werent wearing masks, and the manager basically walked away and left the building.
Purchased our second Subaru here after purchasing our 1st Subaru somewhere else a month earlier. I wish we would have found South Boulevard first. They did an amazing job finding us the vehicle we were looking for and the financing was simple. After the sale they follow up to see if you have any questions about your new vehicle. I have had my 1st service here and was satisfied with service department too. I highly recommend this dealership.

They worked to find the exact Crosstrek I had envisioned. SSB has been my dealership since I moved here 11 years ago. Their service department has exceeded my expectations even when the staff has changed over time. Our experience with Subaru South Blvd didn’t started well due to a miss communication but then we were contacted thru phone and they addressed our issue immediately. It was a great easy experience at the end of the day and we were happy to leave with our 2021 Outback.Thanks to John who handled our paperwork. He was very knowledgeable about the inventory and the features of the car that we were interested in.Sam, (the finance department) was the coolest finance person I have ever dealt with. Their service was amazing! We were traveling and ended up with a flat tire and parked in their lot to be there first thing Monday morning. They were able to fit us in that morning and get us on our way promptly! They explained everything and showed us exactly what they were talking about. If I lived in the area I would only go here! This place is amazing! The staff are so helpful. The sales manager Scott was very kind and gave me a great deal. The salesman that done our paperwork was Doug he was very helpful and answered all of our questions. But most of all, the car we got was amazing! We bought a used car and they updated everything on it to make sure it was a reliable vehicle. They put new tires, breaks, rotors, windshield wipers and so much more on this vehicle before putting it up for sale and that shows a lot about their business. Having owned 6 Subarus and 20+ cars overall, Ive dealt with quite a few dealerships along the way... many of which I wouldnt deal with again. Subaru South Blvd is different. Ive bought multiple cars from them and had them service multiple cars. Always a good experience. They are professional and treat their customers like people rather than numbers. They do the Subaru name proud. Recommend Brian Barrett in sales, but the team is great from parts to service to sales to finance.
The salesman Jeff was incredibly helpful with the whole car search. I told him I was interested in a Forester and he worked with me over a full weekend to get a really great deal on a brand new one! Even though I had some hiccups with my trade-ins title and needed more time to get the money for my down payment ready, they held the car I wanted for me for almost a full week! In the car selling business, having inventory just sit around taking up space is a cardinal sin, but they did it anyways for me and Im super grateful. Overall a great experience.

I purchased a new to us vehicle here. Honestly, I would rather shovel mulch then go car shopping. And I’m severely allergic to mulch!The dealership had a perfect car for my situation. They listened to my answers. Asked great questions. The sales staff was incredible. The management outstanding.In the end I now have that vehicle parked at my home. In a rather tight predicament where I was traveling with my son from NY to FL for college. Dash lit up on 13 Impreza with AT OIL TEMP while traveling through Charlotte on our way to Rock Hill for the night. I called Saturday morning and spoke with Steven. He told me to bring it in and they will fit me in with their busy day. Fortunately, the transmission was not damaged, but a valve was stuck. They were able to repair it and send me on my way without having to make other arrangements.
I want to Thank this awesome team! Especially Chris Dillon for taking such exceptional care of me and my car! I drove from New Jersey my engine light came on 2 1/2 hrs into the ride. I called, spoke with Chris he was so polite! Explained they were very busy however to come by, offered a loaner car to me, said he would call when they had a chance to check my car out. He kept in touch with me the entire time they had my car and not sure how he did it, but had my car fixed- (it was pretty extensive work- my car is over 10 yrs old! )And back to me as promised so I could drive home. I can’t say enough great words! Melissa at the desk was also so wonderful! I recommend this dealership! I may have to drive down just for service from now on!! That’s 10 hrs!! But we’ll worth the trip!

Extremely POOR customer service. My son took his CarMax Subaru in for warranty work and was told that hed have to pay for the $1000 AC repair himself or take it elsewhere. Dealer wouldnt call CarMax to verify/authorize the work. Told my son it would take 9 days to get authorization, which is a farce!!! CarMax does NOT operate in that manner. Dealer also charged almost $200 for AC diagnostic. We will NOT be back!!! Very glad we purchased our Subaru elsewhere.
I had a valet appointment today at 11:30 AM. No one called until 1PM to assure me they were running late and would call me before coming to pickup my car. I told the woman who called I needed the service done today, Im supposed to go out of town tomorrow. I understand if a place is busy, I would have appreciated some honesty so I could take my car to another location. I never received a call and the service was not done. I will not go back to this location, I have experienced many disappointments, people working in the service department are often rude.
This was my first time buying my own car for myself and it is a little nerve wrecking given the negative reputation cars salesman have. Thankfully I got Jeff as my sales rep and he was so kind and did his absolute best to make sure I got what I wanted at a price I could afford. He wasnt pushy or rude at all, he was extremely caring and helpful throughout the whole process. Even compared to another Subaru (Randy Marion has the extremely pushy stereotypical car salesmen) this Subaru is just better. If you are considering or on the fence about getting a Subaru- just do it. It is so worth it and I am so happy to be a part of the Subaru family!
I purchased a new 2021 Forester in March. The vehicle is great but wish I had gone to Williams Subaru!I would NOT recommend Subaru South Boulevard to anyone. This was the most TERRIBLE car buying experience!! Car dealerships can be shady, but this place is beyond shady! First, I asked if they could match William’s Subaru price (obviously better) and received an email stating that it wouldn’t be a problem then when I got there, I had to argue to get the price. I went in to sign the paperwork and they gave me copies of everything without the dealer signatures on them. This is not the standard. I have ALWAYS received fully signed documents with a car purchase. It took multiple attempts over the course of a month to get the copies of the signed forms. Because I don’t want this place touching my car, I cancelled the maintenance agreement (not to mention, in comparison to other similar agreements they are way overpriced). I was told to wait approximately two weeks to see the refund reflect to my account. Nope, I had to contact them multiple times to find out why the payment had not been received. Over a month later this payment finally shows up. Of course, they had excuses but considering I did the same thing for the car I traded in and it took one week, none of the excuses were worth my time. There is obviously a disconnect in the finance department. While I was waiting to cancel the agreement, I overheard a salesman telling a couple that everyone that purchases a new car gets a free gift. I was never offered any gift. I was handed my keys, no keyring just the dealer tag and sent on my way. The shady keeps going, I had to go back to the dealership to purchase the center console tray. I emailed to verify that they had the product, I was told it was in stock and they gave a price. When I got to the dealership, they guy told me it’s $5 more! Buying from here was a huge mistake on my part. I really hope you don’t make the same mistake!
Damaged my car during a recall. The tech working on it didnt say anything about obvious damage he caused. I had to get it resolved via management. No real apology but they did fix damage. I am staying away until they get better mechanics with better work ethics.

I felt absolutely no pressure; in fact, they gave me an even better deal than I expected! FAR better! I just wish I had started buying from them years ago. I highly recommend Subaru South Boulevard!
DO NOT RECOMMEND.Writing this after attempting to handle the horrible customer service with RC, with no conclusion.Their title office sent me another customers confidential loan information, I had a terrible experience getting car titled out of state which was understood and agreed upon in the office during signing. They said they would pay for any temp plates if it took longer than usual, they walked back on all of that, all communication broke down. My title was rejected twice by my state and Subaru South Boulevard never told me why. I was driving on expired tags because they would not send me information in email or leave me voicemails during my work hours when I was unable to answer or let me know what I could provide to help move the process along. $600 doc fee for me to sit on hold for hours with my local DMV trying to dig info and apply for temp tags when all of this should have been taken care of by the dealer as was promised at the signing of the vehicle.

The first time I came here the workers were pleasant. Some of them are weird and stare at you. Any who.. I’m 18 and have been looking for a car. Subaru had the car I wanted so I came here. I did not meet some of the qualifications which is fine. The problem is they lack communication… I put a deposit down to hold the car I was looking at until things got squared away… however Chris did not tell me how long they hold the car. I had to keep reaching out to them to see how the process was going even though they tell you they will call and follow up with you. When you’re not in their faces don’t expect things to get done. A week later i go back to do the same process but find out the car I was looking at had be bought because again I was not made aware of the time frame of holding the car. They also don’t mention that the car is gone, we go through the process again as if the car is still there, I ask and they tell me no it’s not there anymore. As we’re going through the process again of course it takes a while which I’m fine with but we later leave bc it’s taking some time and Brian says he’ll call us the next day. I haven’t heard anything. Great place but a major lack in communication. Called so many times and so many days and they will not return my money.

My wife and I were looking at a used Subaru car before leaving the lot. There was a little glue residue from the protection paper from shipping on the hood so he got it back to detail right away to make sure it was perfect before we drove away. Keep in mind this was 9pm since we didnt get there till later! RC the general manager made an appearance to make sure it was perfect himself and only a short minute later we were on our way! As a previous car salesman myself and a purchaser of many vehicles in the past I can say hands down these guys are some of the best! 110% would recommend this store for your next vehicle. Steven T is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is the first technician I worked with when I started having our family cars serviced at Subaru South Boulevard. He’s honest and always seeks to do what is fair as if he’s assisting a family member. We’ve had brakes worked on, annual inspections, oil changes… Everything goes very smoothly and the work is performed as promised.
We had some third-party warranty work done at this dealer - our first experience with them. The service department personnel were uniformly friendly, efficient and very good at what they do. One short visit and the problem was completely corrected. We were very pleased and highly recommend their service.

I dont recommend this place.On Sat July 3rd I inquired and submitted an application on a used car. I was texted immediately from a sales consultant asked me to come in and test drive the car. I couldnt make it in that day, so I asked if i could that following Monday. But I also asked if I could get the finance info from my application before I made the drive, because its over a 45 min drive for me and having to load my kids up in the car and I not have been approved for the car would have been a waste of my time. I was told a manager would be calling me to go over the finance info. That call never came. I texted the sales consultant again asking about if I was going to receive a call about my credit application and I was asked again to come test drive the car. After this my texts stopped getting responded to. I texted 4 more times over the course of a week and never was contacted again. I even called the dealership 3 times and left 2 voice-mails for the sales manager and never received a call back. This is not how you treat a potential customer. Im in the used car business myself for a large used car retailer and this was unacceptable.... I gave up and found another car I was interested in at Hendrick Dodge of Concord, submitted my application online at 9am, got a call from the sales manager and was told we were good to go and went and bought my car that night at 5pm.
I went to the closet Subaru dealership to me looking for a WRX/STI and made an appointment with Subaru South Blvd. The people that welcomed me made it feel like it was a friendly establishment, however that changed when I was “helped” by a sales worker. I was really interested into buying a WRX/STI but was not treated with respect at all. The sales worker was not very serious when talking to me and made it feel like he was trying to get me out the dealership as fast as possible. Keep in mind I look a lot younger for my age (24). I wanted to feel more welcomed since I was a interested buyer but did not feel comfortable at all. So I left the South Blvd location and went to Randy Marion Subaru dealership in Mooresville, NC. As soon as I walked in their dealership I was greeted and sat down with a super cool salesman. I told him what I was looking to buy and he immediately pulled up the car builder and we built my WRX STI, signed the papers, and made the down payment. Everything went so smoothly and comfortable that it felt almost like family. Subaru is known for their great and awesome community and after my experience at Randy Marion Subaru, I would recommend anyone local to Charlotte TO GO STRAIGHT TO THEM!

After deciding not to buy out of town I visited the SBlvd website. Within five minutes one of their managers called to discuss our interest. The next day we went in. In spite of a few hiccups they delivered the car we wanted at a great price. San the finance manager even helped negotiate the interest down. Everyone was nice and thoughtful and listened to our needs. At the end of the day Tommy and Sam listened and delivered.
As far as car dealerships go, this is the best one weve been to. I was looking for a vehicle almost three years ago, and due to Subarus reputation for safety and reliability, we looked here. However, at the time we needed something that could tow more, so we went with a Honda Ridgeline. Fast forward three years and we now have a full-size truck. Not needing two trucks, I decided to go back to Subaru since they still dominate the top ratings for safety and reliability and got an Outback. I went specifically to this dealership because I remembered how low-key and nice my last experience was - specifically with one of the salesmen, Doug. This time TJ helped us (equally as friendly and helpful) and we just felt like we werent pushed to buy anything either time. They werent overbearing or hard-selling like other car dealerships can be. I highly recommend the Subaru brand and this dealership in particular.
I highly recommend NOT requesting information from Subaru South Boulevard!!! In their defense, I did an online inquiry for information on a vehicle and their staff (Michael sales rep and Patrick sales manager) were very polite and professional. On the other hand, in less than (24) hours I received (4) phone calls, (1) email, and (1) text from the sales team. This type of repetitive contacts and high-pressure sales is less than appealing, I will take my business elsewhere.

They also let us put $6.5k on a credit card which was way more than the Subaru dealership on Independence.We couldnt be happier with our new car. We had a good experience here so we would come back again.
Doug Holden was extremely courteous and caring. The level of service at this Subaru dealership was phenomenal!! I myself do not like walking into dealerships and hate my previous car buying experiences, but somehow walking into this dealership did not feel like walking into a car dealership. They were upfront about their prices and very reasonable when it came to my trade in. I would buy another car and would send all friends and family to this dealership! Had alignment done here and they got it right. Previously had alignment done at a tire shop and tires wore unevenly. Also had CVT fluid changed here and so far so good.
My mom and I took a trip to turn in her current Subaru lease and we had such a great experience looking at a new Subaru. Tommy Tucker is the man. He was one of the most laid back, easy going, no pressure sales people ive had the experience of working with. I came in to the deal knowing exactly what i was looking for, and he worked with me to get it. After being the victim of a rear end collision suffering a total loss of my old car, this was exactly what i needed to get back on my feet.The entire team was friendly and easy to work with. After visiting another Subaru dealer in Charlotte, this one definitely came out on top. They worked with me, taking a deposit to hold the specific vehicle i had picked out while waiting for the insurance settlement to come through.Even upper management was understanding and easy to work with. The day of the sale, i had planned to make the down payment with my debit card. After the debit was declined and making a call to my bank, i was informed that payment was in excess of the maximum allowable debit per day. Since i had no other form of payment with me, i thought i was screwed. However the business manager decided to allow me to run the card as credit, even though it was not normal practice for them and caused them to take a hit with the processing fee. Excellent service.
Great customer service. We went in to look at the new Subaru with the third row seat. Our sales representative, Filipe, was very nice and informative and did not at any point pressure us into making a purchase. We did end up buying a car that day but only because they confirmed what we had already researched on our own. Everyone that dealt with us that day was great. We highly recommend this dealership.

Great, friendly folks at Subaru South made buying a new 19 Forester a smooth process for my wife and I. I reached out to several dealers throughout NC via email during my search and South immediately came back with a very fair (and transparent) price for an extremely popular vehicle. We had to drive two hours to pick it up but it was worth it. Michael and Hayley were great helping us get started and Tommy in sales and Chris in finance were easy to work with and very informative and helpful on day of purchase. Clean, comfortable building as well. Vehicle and dealership both highly recommended!

My wife was explicitly looking for the sunshine orange limited.Pricing:Best pricing within four-hour driving radius. Not even Hyundai could come close to the OTD pricing.Overall Impressions:Everyone at the dealership made my wife, and I feel comfortable. We arrived an hour before they closed and finished the paperwork after hours. Not once did we get hurried. From my perspective, this is a A+ dealership, and I would recommend to family. Weve owned several makes and models of vehicles over the years, and were convinced that Subaru makes the safest cars on the road without sacrificing much in the way of luxury. Purchased a Pre-owned Subaru on Saturday and couldn’t have asked for better people to assist with the process. Everyone that we had encountered were extremely professional and kind. They made this process quick and easy for us and they were ready to answer any questions with a smile. They also stayed after hours, considering we drove 3.5 hours to get there as soon as we could, to purchase the vehicle we wanted. I wouldn’t recommend Subaru to a friend. I bought a new 2020 Outback and have so many issues with it. First, my entertainment console went bad and it took like many appointments over the course of weeks to get that fixed.Now, I’m having even more issues related to the sound / entertainment system. After 5.5 months, at least one of my speakers is going out, even though I don’t even listen to music above like half volume. And I have the Harman Kardon system that is supposed to be the premium sound system for Subaru.Additionally, my USB ports are seemingly going back. I can use a new cord and it will stop working after a few uses, despite working perfectly fine on other vehicles.Lastly, getting service is a pain. Every time I have a new issue, I have to drive an hour out of my way to have them “diagnose” the issue only to do the same later in the week.The most recent time I called in, I was hung up on by Ryan when I described my issue, and when I called back in, I was told that I’d need to bring my vehicle in again to get diagnosed, and that their earliest appointment was later in the week at a specific time.
This place is a very good dealership with excellent service in the service dept. Let me tell you one thing. Having Brittany as your ticket manager is awesome. She helped me along the way and answered all my questions. Her service alone is what will bring me back. Not just for servicing my vehicle but to purchase a vehicle.
Wow, Hayley Huffman is an old soul, she has the work ethic of a baby boomer and the team focus of a Navy Seal. I am extremely impressed.Management at this dealership is spot on with training and execution of optimal customer support. I thought buying a used car from a dealer was going to be a benign experience. I was wrong!Everyone from Hayley with her phone and sales skills to the other team members handling the test drive and transaction details. My treatment was equal to what I would expect for a new car sale. Went for airbag replacement, was told it would take an hour and a half maybe longer. It actually took less than an hour. I was impressed.
