I got the beef and the spinach empanadas. The beef was absolutely delicious! The spinach one was good but the beef was better! Also tried the caramel macchiato and it was delicious! Friendly staff and clean establishment! Definitely recommend!

Love Freddo! Perfect location on King Street. The girls working there were so nice and helpful. We went back three times during our stay in Charleston for sorbet or smoothies! One of our favorite stops on our trip.

Had the white chocolate and dulce di Leche delivered from a third party and both taste horrible… very disappointing. I lived in Italy for 3 years and was hoping this would be good but the flavors leave the worst taste in your mouth.

The guy at the counter made my visit great, and my milkshake was awesome.

We got the raspberry smoothie, and it was refreshing and the right amount of sweetness.We also got the beef, chicken and bacon empanadas, which were all delicious. Who knew raspberry smoothie and empanadas make for a good food combination?? Delicious.

The employee charged me for remaking a smoothie after dropping the first one at her store. This is the first time a restaurant charged me twice for dropping food. The custom is they will remake it for free. Terrible service. Will not return.

The Best food in south Carolina amazing

Freddo Gelato on King Street in Charleston has excellent gelato, desserts, and empanadas available when you need them. I like coming here for a snack during the middle of the day or for a dessert after dinner. Everything here is fresh and has quality ingredients that you can really taste and enjoy. They are well worth a visit especially on a hot day.

The frozen cappuccino was great! It is made with the gelato that is sold in the store. And the customer service was great! She was super helpful explaining how each drink is made and the origin of the gelato.

All of the sorbets and gelato are amazing! The staff was so kind and patient, I had children with me and we all got to taste a few selections before placing our orders. Everything we tried was soooo good!

My husband and I got two drinks here. Wonderful service. A little of the pricey side, but we more than enjoyed our treats. Great, friendly staff that are more than willing to answer questions or give samples.

Waited ten minutes for someone too come to the counter, coffee came out cold, when it was supposed to be hot and my wife and friends drinks werent mixed at all. Lousy service, and to think I left a 15% tip for crappy food

Great ice cream but it took a lot time to get, considering it was not that busy. The issue I believe was that on a warm, busy evening there was only one person working. I also would have liked a greater selection! I had the raspberry mascarpone and it was delightful!

Great place everyone who visits Charleston should try! We have been to Buenos Aires several times and this is one of Argentinas best desserts. Nice take on ice cream and my wife and I were thrilled to see the sign in the USA.

Very disappointed. Advertise dulce de leche flavor, one of Argentina native flavor and dont even have it on the board or in stock. Lights were off like ready to close at 845 pm but advertise closet at 10 what a let down. If you dont want to be there just close it. Do no recommend at all.

Great gelatto, something you cant easily find in Charleston

We had Freddo cater or wedding reception with pre-portioned gelato cups and it was the perfect touch! The gelato was incredible and it helped cool down our guests, as Charleston was in a heat wave the weekend of our wedding! Freddo was wonderful in the planning process and very easy to work with. We are so lucky they are right around the corner and we can stop by anytime to get our gelato fix! THANK YOU!

I first had and loved Freddos in Buenos Aires, and it tastes just as great in Charleston.

I am a BIG fan of ice cream and gelato. I have tried so many of them around the world, and I can say the quality of this gelato is OUTSTANDING. I have to tell that yes, you can compare some flavors like some chocolates with another high end, artisanal gelato brands, but please do not tell that FREDDO tastes like any other because IT DOES NOT! I am sorry !And last but not least, DULCE DE LECHE!!!!!!! What a miracle. No one has it in the STATES, even if they try to make it as Haagen Dazs, no one can make it as the original recipe made in Argentina and brought to the States by FREDDO. So, if you want to try the REAL DULCE DE LECHE flavor, go to FREDDO.
