Just moved to the area and came down for a eyebrow wax. The staff was incredibly friendly when I had to reschedule my appointment. My benefit brow bar stylist, Moth went above and beyond. She took her time with the service and also gave some great recommendations on local spots to check out. Thank you for a warm welcome and great eyebrows to go with it!

Didnt even make it to the salon! I set an appointment for 4pm Sunday. For a multi color hair color. I get a call from Faun who was supposed to do it. She calls me the Friday before and asked a few questions. For the record Im going from red to blonde with brown under tones. She turns around and claims she has to do all these different services like bleach the hair. Look Ive done this job on my own and I never needed bleach and it only took 2 hours. She claimed that she wont do it because this is a job that will last 1 to 6 hours. Then takes it a step further by giving me an attitude and says that this service will start at $80 an hour. Ha! I don’t think so. Ill do it on my own and make sure its done right. Ulta is not ever getting my business again. Look if you didnt want to do the job because it was going to take too much of your precious time, then why bother working at all?

On top of there covid-19 game. All staff wearing masks, all staff very helpful and smiling (I know you cant see through the mask). Sanitizer station baskets all sanitized. Floors are marked for social distancing, signs to remind us social distancing. Store well stocked, just cant try anything due to the virus. Clean store.

This use to be one of my fun stores. I totally get that were needing to be safer when shopping but I hope there comes a time we can try before we buy again. I dont like taking it home to try it because even though they have a good return system, I normally dont bother bringing it back and end up giving it away.

I ordered from Ulta online and used curbside pick up the next morning. I love the option of curbside pick up. Im disabled and its 100% easier to receive my order than parking(if I can find a place) and almost crawling it. Ultas price on the item I desired was less expensive than other stores!

Have been wanting to get a Mermaid hair color for over a year and none of the local salons were very receptive to walkin consultations after lockdowns were over. ULTA was easy to book for a cut and style, and has stylist that are trained colorist. STANLEY was awesome to work with. We discussed the color and the process to dye my dark hair without damaging it. I chose oil slick. Depending on how I style it will vary the color that pops. Price was reasonable as well.

I have been banned from making any purchases online forever because someone stole my credit card number and managed to make multiple large purchases on their website over a 12-day span totaling over $30,000 before I discovered it and notified them. So they punish me (the customer) for their error. Very poor way to treat your customers!

This location is well managed and they make the shopping process simple and easy to get all of the items that you need on your gift list. I have had a consistently positive experience every time I have been here.

Stanley is amazing! My last visit he worked his magic to make me look younger and healthier when he recommended balayage for my currently chocolate shaded strands. I love a lot of work on his end for a natural look and he does an incredible job but he especially has fun with the blondes! Playing with shades of blonde for himself over the years rest easy and put your locks in his hands! With fair pricing, a natural eye for color, cut and style and quick work this hidden gem is going to be in high demand quickly. Highly recommended! 10 stars!

I’m an out of town visitor, I happen to work at an Ulta in Florida. Visiting family here, I decided to book a salon appointment (after quarantine, my hair was overdue for some TLC) Elise did an OVER THE TOP, excellent, five star job. She patiently took her time, being meticulous and communicative, ensuring I got the exact color treatment and cut that I had envisioned. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Elise- I’ll be back to see her when I visit my family here again.

Customer service is not good. They pretend to help. Every time I ask for product they tell me ask the front receptionist and answer would be we do not have it but we can order for you online. If I wanted to place an order online why would I come to store. Secondly. I had an hair appt. I ask if they can change my hair appt. service from hair wash+blow dry to hair color only. It only takes about 25 minutes and the lady told me no. She did not even offer to re-schedule appt. not happy with Charleston-Ulta at all. Also, it would be nice if they are more warm in their greeting towards colored ppl.

I love this ulta. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I was stuck trying to figure out which hair products to use for my curls and a very nice lady came to help. She listened to what I was looking for and needed, she asked about what I’ve used in the past, and then she showed me options that would work for me and told me about each one so I could choose for myself. I was so pleased with my experience I actually signed up for rewards, which I never do at retail stores. Thanks ulta! I’ll definitely be back again!

Everyone at the store is friendly, informative, and go above and beyond to assist you with what you are looking for or any questions you may have. I scheduled a makeup tutorial session at the MAC counter with Faye. She is phenomenal! My confidence with makeup has increased ten-fold after just one session with her.I wanted help doing a quick neutral look for work but also wanted to know how to do a glam, color-popping eyeshadow look as well. Faye was able to pack a lot in our tutorial session. I had a lot of fun learning, and she is great at explaining each step. She would take the time to explain which brush to use, how much product should be on the brush, and show me exactly where to apply the product.If you are looking for a new look or need a tutorial session, I would highly recommend stopping by the MAC counter and asking for Faye. My experience was well beyond five stars.

I loved my brow experience with Bridgette! She did an phenomenal job on my brow wax/tint, showed what she was taking off and made sure I was happy with the whole experience before I left ! 5 stars for customer service, care and cleanliness!!

The MAC counter at this store is amazing! Back in August Ameera convinced me to switch to MAC for my foundation. Yesterday I went back in to get matched for a new foundation and walked out with a glam look by Fay. I had so much fun I went back today for a lesson for a neutral, everyday look. Fay has an amazing eye and is very informative. She answered all my questions and made me feel great. If you need a new look or new makeup be sure to check out the MAC counter. Not only are the ladies amazing at what they do, but everyone else makes you feel amazing too! I can’t wait to go back to learn more makeup tips from these amazing ladies!

Fay at the MAC counter is wonderful. I walked in one day and she helped me right away, helping me pick out colors and products that were right for me. She’s so kind and I left feeling better than when I arrived! I’ve been back several times since!

The 5 stars is for Fay! The only one who said hello and asked If I need any help finding anything. I’m now back to wearing M.A.C. (I’m not sure why I ever stopped). But I learned a lot from Fay in a short amount of time. I even found an eye brow color that I like. I will be back shortly to buy. Fay, didn’t push me into buying anything that I wasn’t looking for. I really appreciate that. I’m sad to learn that she won’t be working there anymore.

I went there today to get my brows tinted by Alysa and she was amazing. I don’t trust my brows with anyone but she knew what she was doing, she ended up waxing them after just to clean it up and I’m so ecstatic about them. they look so clean and perfect. Great location. The space feels smaller than the Summerville and Mt. Pleasant stores but this location has all the prestige products your heart could ever desire. Very clean store and the staff is always so helpful, too.

The staff are nice and the prices are great. Only issue is how stuffy and hot it is in the store. Maybe it is from the salon in the back, but after 15 minutes in store Im already trying to wrap up my browsing/purchases due to being uncomfortable. Aside from that, I really enjoy the store and products.

Very recently I’ve had major events take place in my life. My very first prom, taking graduation photos, and many more memories that will forever be part of my life. While magical by themselves, what truly made my events magical was the glamorous makeup done by the woman of Mac at Ulta. I’ve had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Fay, Tracee, and Ameera on separate occasions, and fell in love with their unique touches and creativity. I can’t wait to go back.

Emma has been doing my hair for years now! I followed her from her previous location even though it’s more distant.... 100% worth it. My cut and color is always perfect, I have considered carrying a stack of her cards for when people compliment my hair in public 😊 go see Emma!My only complaint is that there is no music in the store. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I made an appointment with Meredith for a microdermabrasion facial and she was the absolute best! Very friendly and knowledgeable on skincare and products! I will definitely be returning in a month for my 2nd session!

I got my eyebrows waxed at the brow bar, and the girl that did them literally waxed half my eyebrow. she made them so thin!!!! all I wanted her to do is clean them up! she even did a little outline to show me where she would be waxing the hair and she definitely didn’t stay inside the lines. it was also too expensive ($22) would NOT recommend getting your eyebrows waxed at Ulta.

Today I went in to just explore options for foundation and met Fay she is a Mac artist there and she was amazing. Not only did she help me but she did all my makeup for an event I have tonight. I will be going back to see her and let her do my makeup for my maternity photos.

Honestly the worst experience I have had at an Ulta. The manager Jonathan has horrible customer service and apparently does not know how to work with the public. He was extremely rude and patronizing throughout our entire conversation. Not to mention the way he talked down to the cashier helping me (who was nothing but a delight and extremely helpful and apologetic for what she couldn’t control). He has no business being a manager if that is how he treats people especially if he talks to his employees in that way in front of customers. It was very unprofessional. Won’t be back to this location anytime soon.

The staff are friendly, and the store has a good selection of items. However, many sections are often in disarray or only half put-together. Particularly the Ulta range along the side wall, and the drug store make-up near the registers.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied with recent buy online-pick up in store experience. I called the store 2 hrs after placing my order online to see if it was ready. This was my first time placing a BOPUS order and wasnt sure how long it would take, and my email did not specify. When I called the store I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, and ended up having to call again. When I finally spoke to someone about my order they were very dismissive and said the email told me it would be 4 hrs, which it did not say that anywhere. I selected this method thinking it would be quick for me to pick up on my way home from work. I was told it would be at least another hour before my order was ready and that I would get an email when it was. I did not receive my email until 930am the next day. When I arrived at the store for pick up there were 2 associates at the front counter who did not greet me or acknowledge me as I waited by the sign for BOPUS pick ups. I will not be using this service again and I am very put off by the lack of customer service from this location.

I went to get my brows done today by Alysa and it was a great first experience. It’s obvious she has the experience to cater to individuals unlike the hack job I had at a random salon. Alysa is awesome!!! I would recommend her to anyone.

I’ve been to this location several times and have had serval issues, but today was my worst experience yet. they advertise deals and specials on their displays that they don’t/can’t honor. i was suppose to get some free and discounted items today and they admitted that they never had the product and recommended i go to another ulta. i spent quite some time choosing about 10 items today ended up leaving with one and then walked next door to tj maxx and saw several cheaper options and the same brands.

Worst Ulta ever--I have been in this store on four separate occasions looking for basic items that they should have in stock. Every time I am told by an associate that they can order it for me.I could have ordered online myself it I wanted to but it would be nice to find something in stock instead of always having to order online, most of the staff just walks around, no one offers to help unless you go directly to them and ask. Highly disappointing with such a poorly stocked store & customer service so lacking.

Highly recommend Merritt ! I suffer from pretty bad acne but since I started coming in once a month to get a facial my skin has been clearing up!

I mean-- its an ULTA. Theyve got a lot of stuff in here and usually everything Im looking for is in stock (typically korean skincare, guess it isnt that popular). The clearance section is pretty sweet too. Ive usually had great customer service here except for a few times when the cashiers were kind of rude to me, but I get it. Retail sucks and everyone has bad days, just please dont be mean to me lol.

I came to Emma Gray with this dream of going blonde and she made that dream a reality. I’m originally a brunette and Emma started gradually adding blonde throughout my hair by balayage. Each session my hair was absolutely gorgeous and she always made sure my hair maintained its health through trims and added conditioning treatments. She is by far the best hairstylist and colorist I have seen! She is always very precise and professional and no matter what your vision is, she will make it happen! I always look forward to seeing her for a touch up or a cut because I know my hair will look stunning afterwards!
