Consumer Beware!! Go to T Mobile, they have better coverage AND cost considerably less. My experience with Verizon was too poor to sum up in a review, but in a nut shell these people will gouge you for every penny they can. **UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OR ROUTING NUMBERS**. If you set up automatic payments they have you over a barrel. I wish I never walked in this store.
After spending an hour and a half going from best buy in n.chs to best buy in West Ashley, I came to Verizon to get my phone turned on because I was told by the rep at best buy that they were too busy. Amanda at Verizon was at the door and a big help with me getting my phone turned on and helping other customers. She was nice as can be even though I had an attitude
My wife and I purchased an iPhone and iPad from this location today (9/27). The phone case that the sales representative installed did not fit the phone properly. He also neglected to remove the protective film from the case before installing a pop socket. This was discovered when we returned home, after which, my wife promptly returned to the store to address the issues; expecting them to be fixed with no issues (I purchased my phone from this location last November and had a great experience with the sales representative, she was AWESOME). When my wife returned, the store manager was extremely rude to her and refused to fix the issue that was clearly the fault of the store. The leadership displayed by the store manager was absolutely deplorable. I genuinely feel bad that he is the example the employees have to follow and learn from. He should never be allowed to lead people, much less hold a management position within a company. Find another location to give your business to. If I could give this a 0 star review, I would.

Busy place. Wait time was 35 to 45 minutes. Staff was kind and patient. Our data problem was solved by a knowledgeable and caring employee. Can now use our phone for information and directions

I think Verizon on the phone is some of the best customer service out there, BUT their customer service in the stores is horrible. Still, a year later, after no one is wearing masks and everyone opening up, they wont let you in the store. There were people in their store WITHOUT MASKS, yet I was told I had wait in my vehicle for 30 minutes. So my choice is to leave my vehicle running, wasting gas, or sit in a HOT vehicle for 30 minutes for a simple CHARGER! They are rude and arrogant. It makes me want to cancel my whole account with their lack of any real empathy.
My experience there was pretty good I have no complaints. I got in early and I got out at a decent time and was taking care of very well, just wish all the places that I visit was this good and quick.

The Verizon data service and 5G service is terrible. There are to many dead spots around Charleston. Try another carrier.
I want to thank Rod M at this location for superior customer service. I rushed in after work one Saturday right before closing, as my phone was not working and I had no other availability. He was patient, kind, and extremely informative. He helped resolve the issue as well as assisted me search for a policy more conducive to my needs. Ive had many other experiences at different Verizons where I was having similar issues and was met with annoyance and disgruntled employees. so, Thank you!! Everyone go see Rod. He will help you out tremendously. Also give this man a raise! Good customer service is hard to find these days!

Went by the store on November 14th to talk about things with my Samsung galaxy note 20.they had a security guard outside asking questions about what you needed i told them I wanted technical help. The guard went back inside came back out handed me a card said I need to call technical support. I live a hour from the nearest store I am considering switching scarriers because the Sam Rittenberg store and agents on the phone are very rude they really need to learn customer service skills. I feel they arent there to help anyone!
If you go to this location be sure to ask for Sarah. She was beyond sweet and helpful! Sarah made my husband and I feel at ease and not pressured at all. She gave us our options and answered any questions we had. Our upgrade process was smooth and stress free and I truly believe that is thanks to Sarah. Yall have a real gem on your team for sure! My husband will be back in a few weeks for his new phone and we will be sure to ask for Sarah again. Thanks for the amazing experience!

I had to give one star just so I could comment. We had a Male assist us if one could call it that. He was unprofessional, lacked knowledge or just chose not to answer our questions so we would go away. I have been having difficulty paying my bill on line. I asked to use the kiosk inside the store. He stood over me watching me enter all numbers requested including my banking info. When asked about him helping me troubleshoot why my app has NEVER worked to pay my bill, he was more concerned about the customers outside. I c 2 of my family members & 1vother . My family & I hall had service issues. He was cold, condescending & nothing got resolved except my bill paid.
Received great service while Verizon was keeping with Covid-19 restrictions. My Rep gave great customer service and explained everything in detail so I would be able to set up my new phone once I got home.👍👍👍👍👍

Just switched to Verizon from At&t 🎉🎉🎉Mike at the Sam rittenberg boulevard store was awesome!!! Very polite knowledgeable and fast. We had an appointment for 630 we got there 40 min early and they helped us 30 min earlier than our appointment time. Just a great experience over all. Even the lady that signs people in was very fast and efficient. Thank yall 👍👍

Awful experience today... Ive now been dealing with incompetency within this company for a week now... I dislike Verizon about as much as I disliked Time Warner Cable in Columbia. I am considering moving to T-Mobile because Id rather drop a call 15 times per conversation, than give any more of my money to this company. Long story, short... I tried to get my issues resolved today and the employee that helped (and I use help, loosely) couldnt have been any less interested in trying to troubleshoot my problem or investigate the issues I have been having... He was a jerk. He was lazy. He didnt listen to me as I was telling him my issues. He told me if I needed help I could call Customer Care. I mentioned we call them together and he said that was something I could do on my own. Needless to say, after my visit I spent an hour on the phone with a customer support agent who actually wanted to work for her pay. I made a formal complaint towards this employee during my call. *I am not someone who is hard to please. But, be polite...Act like you care about your customers... work hard to help them. LISTEN. Do your JOB.

Every time I go here, they try to get you out quick without mentioning other items that could be available to you at a cheaper price or would take them longer to give to you- like my apps that they said they couldnt transfer until I said they did it last time, in which case they were magically able to do it or when I asked if there were used phones available and the guy said absolutely not while looking at his watch repeatedly, only to call customer service and have them say of course there were on their website Also, a main tactic they use is making fun of you for the phone products you have while pushing theirs to try to shame you into buying their marked-up accessories So, be prepared when you go in the store for this wonderful customer experience!

I just had an awesome experience at the store. I had to switch from a previous carrier for my business line. Mike was very helpful, courteous, and professional! Even the reps around the store spoke and were helpful.
The ratings for this location go from 1 to 5 stars. Ill add my five star rating. I walked in, didnt even sign up. Im sure it must depend on who you get and what your problem is. But I was lucky. I got Matt. He took my phone and fixed it immediately. I had already spent 45 minutes on the phone with the Apple experts and they couldnt figure it out even though it was basically their problem. Good luck. I hope you get someone as good as Matt.

Went to purchase a phone and the salesman was extremely unhelpful and rude. I asked for a certain phone and he didn’t even bring it out. He completely disregard what I asked for and Brought me out a newer and more expensive model (probably to up his commission ) . I was buying it for my mother, who was there. He didn’t answer any questions she had and barley acknowledged her presence. She went back to have her number transferred and he was “to busy” to help. The experience was so unpleasant I’m considering buying off my devices and switching providers. Verizon has the best coverage but their customer service sucks. Thanks for the phone We didn’t want and the added expense we were pressured into.

I dont really see the point of this store. They never have anything you need and always want to check you in. I dont need to check in to look in your store. All they have is like three phones and a few laptops with like 12 people working. Like whats the need of all these people if you dont sell much?
Went in yesterday to upgrade a phone and a tablet. Employees were very nonchalant like they didnt want to be at work. Got introduced to an employee named Ivory. She was nice, but did not explain the upgrading process accordingly. She remained behind the counter with airpods in her ears while we tried to figure out the lay of the store. There were tablets and phones everywhere. Some were mislabeled and it was very difficult to determine the price of the phones. After 20 minutes we made our decision and returned to Ivory. We were informed that the store did not have the tablet (that was displayed in the store) in stock so she was going to overnight the device to us and charge us 14.99 to do so. We were not happy about that. After a complaint to the manager the shipping charge was waived. Ivory stated that the item would arrive the very next day, at our residence. We obtained the tracking number (via email after we left the store) and found that Ivory had lied to us. The device would not arrive until 2 days later. This store should work on their customer service appearance and tell customers the truth instead of lying to get a sale.

Normally theres a wait when I go to the store. Last time I waited probably 30 minutes. Overall the guy was nice and helpful once we got to speak to someone. I wish verizon would just ship a SIM card for free to my house. It sucks to wait in line 30 minutes just to get a SIM.

Dont fall for their rebates. Nothing but a hassle. I submitted everything exactly right the day after purchasing $700 of equipment and got an email saying my request was invalid...We were unable to match your submission information with our records. How is that even possible with the amount of paperwork I had to sign? Just a friendly warning, that you will not be getting any money back once you leave the store. I should have known better.

Here is some advice for people who decide to visit this store:1. Do good homework in advance, because you cannot trust what they tell you, nor consider them as professionals.2. Do not dream them would tell you the best deal.3. Be really sure what you need to pay and how much you need to pay in total. If they tell you certain fee is waived, make sure ask for confirmation.4. If they give you discount, be sure to ask discount apply to where.These are lessons I learned from this store by wasting lots of time and money.

We have been with Verizon since they were Alltel. We are in Johns Island SC. We have always had great service. In the last 6 months, since November 2016 we have had really bad service with calls dropped like crazy. Im on my 3rd I phone 6 with no change. HELLO its not the phone. If they cant fix it Im going to have to change service.All the specials they have for new customers dont help the old faithful customers.

Couldnt have been better. Others state on their reviews that they are dying to leave Verizon....I have left Tmobile and Sprint in the last 3 months, needless to say its been expensive changing. The service at the store and on my phone is far superior than anything I have experienced with any other phone company.
I will be there when the doors open today and it wont be pretty.... my 70 year old brother who is on my account was sold a phone yesterday even though he was eligible for a new one and sold a Mac daddy plan that included 10 G data....He doesnt even know how to text!!!! He just needs to be able to send and receive calls....He was clearly taken advantage of by some uncaring representative with no intergrity whatsoever who only cares about his commision.Not only will this be handled today but a complaint will be filed with the FCC. Shame on you Verizon for allowing your employees to cheat the unsuspecting elderly or anyone else.
Best network and great new plans that can help save money or put those savings toward a new phone. Love my Droid Maxx and will be coming here to get a new phone when its time :)

Customer Service is a joke at this store. I had a customer representative accuse me of being rude to him over the phone and raising my voice at him and he hung up on me. I explained to him that I was talking to him using Google Voice on my computer in my classroom and my voice echoed in the room. I have been a customer of Verizon over 20 years...looks like I need to find another carrier for my 4 lines since they dont value my business.
Waits are long, and the rules change frequently, but the staff are very courteous and do their best to help.
Walked in and the staff couldnt answer any of our questions. Put us in que so we called another store after standing around waiting for over 20 minutes. Had our questions answered and walk out and our name had never even been called.

The staff wasted my time entirely. I just bought a new phone for use with the Verizon Network. I walked into the store and registered with the greater. I asked how long? she answered just a few minutes. After 20 minutes I tell her look I have a small child in the car I need to know if I am going to get service soon (my wife is already having to put up with him screaming) so I ask again well there are only 5 people ahead of you. At 50 minutes There are only 3 people ahead of you. Seriously WTF its now 19:25 and you guys close at 20:00.Screw it Im going with a different provider, always get a phone that supports multiple networks.
