The Bella girls were friendly and accommodating, and I did not feel pressured at any time, which made for a very enjoyable shopping experience!It was after my wedding was canceled (due to hurricane Matthew) and rescheduled three months later that they really came to the rescue. A bridesmaid was five months pregnant at the time of the reschedule, had popped out (as she put it) a week before the wedding and could no longer fit into her dress. In a panic, I reached out to Allison (owner) who was able to locate almost the exact same dress, same color, in the new size needed (from a third party) and get it express shipped to my bridesmaid. I received the absolute best customer service from this location from someone named Alex. This girl deserves a promotion!!!A close friend that I have known since childhood asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding at the last minute—about six weeks before the actual wedding. We were looking for something in the color scheme of the bridesmaids’ dresses, but definitely different and suitable for me since our daughter asked that I wear a long dress like the bridal party was doing. I was reluctant at how I would look and be able to dance in a long dress, but Allison picked THE PERFECT dress for me with an asymmetrical peplum skirt and tulip-shaped long skirt – I felt beautiful and danced all night and, best of all, my daughter loved how I looked! Highly recommend Allison, the store owner, from an extremely positive experience. She has great taste and guidance and listens to and ensures that each bridesmaid feels comfortable and well dressed. Many folks are helpful when everything goes smoothly, but Allison kept the pressure off the bride and showed her superior character and expertise when handling the inevitable crises. We had mishaps of timing and fit, and she came in after hours and on holidays and actually paid the extensive cost for the changes which were not her fault but our fault. She was great in helping to select the right colors, and there were so many in-store options. I went to the Bella Bridesmaids in NYC, and their service was terrible in comparison to Bella in Charleston. Completely inflexible and unwilling to help, even considering the premium youre paying to have them as a liaison between the customer and designer. The reps talk in circles to avoid any type of problem solving with orders. Additionally, their sizing advice for those not able to go to the store to see the dresses in person is abhorrent. Do not recommend.

The ladies of Bella Bridesmaid have made picking out bridesmaids dresses such a great experience! There is a huge selection at all price points to fit everyones style. Allison, the owner, was 9 months pregnant when i started the process and has since gone on maternity leave but the experience has remained the same. Natalie and the other girls are so professional and great at their job - and were so gracious when we broke the dressing curtain on one of their busiest days (no joke).My experience with the bridesmaids dresses was so great, we have gone back multiple times to choose a special Maid of Honor, Mother of the Groom and Sister-in-law of the groom dresses.I would definitely go back even just to get something for a special occasion.Thank you ladies for all of your help!

Allison is fantastic to work with and always extremely quick to respond to a phone call or email. I have ordered many dresses from her (both as a bridesmaid and a bride) and had top-notch service each time.

I would not recommend anyone go here. I should have known from the beginning when they gave us trouble even trying to make an initial appointment it was going to be a bad experience. I had visited the bella bridesmaid in Atlanta but did not like their selection all that much so decided to give Charleston a try when I was in town. They almost didnt let me make an appointment because I had already been to another location. I went for the appointment with my maid of honor and they did have a much better selection and I almost couldnt decide on which dress I liked the best. We finally decided on a dress and she got her measurements taken. All the other girls went to locations near them to get their measurements taken as well. My wedding isnt until March and we were rushed to order our dresses by September in order to have them in time. Not knowing how all of this worked I did what they recommended and pressured everyone to order their dresses. The dresses came in a month later... about 5 months before the actual wedding. But its a good thing they did because 5 out of 8 of my bridesmaid dresses didnt fit AT ALL! Ive been a bridesmaid before and realize most of the time they have to be altered some way, its inevitable. However, these sizes were in some cases 3 sizes too big and you could fit 2 girls in them! How is that possible if their measurements were taken! So know everyone has to get their $300+ dress altered down 2-3 sizes. When we called the shop to express our concern they pretty much said their was nothing they could do. My maid of honor even went to the store and tried it on to show them how ridiculous it was. They said we need to contact the designer it must be a sizing issue with them. Isnt that their job? I dont think this is a very good way to do business and I have told all of my friends to steer clear of any bella bridesmaid.
