Best place to get your gown made! I asked her very last minute if she would be able to make my gown within a month and she did not disappoint! I loved it! She’ll work with the price range, talk you throughout the design and what would be best, and make sure you’re in the loop with every choice she makes upon making the dress. She’s the best!

We came into Charleston Friday evening for a Sunday wedding. My daughter tried on her bridesmaids dress, and it had been altered too tightly. We were in a panic! We asked around, and we were given Alenas name to contact. Alena agreed to meet us first thing Saturday morning. She was able to fix the dress, and we were able to admire all of the beautiful dresses and accessories in her shop while we waited. If I ever have the opportunity to need a dress in the future, I will definitely call Alena! I just cannot recommend her highly enough!

Alena did an incredible job altering the same formal silk debutante gown, handed down by a cousin, for both my daughters. Her price was so reasonable I felt guilty for the level of work she did to make the dress suit each of my daughters. I cannot say how pleased I was with her work. I brought 2 additional semi formal party dresses That she fit perfectly and one was an intricately beaded/embroidered design. Her seamstress skills are way beyond anything I’ve found with other alterations businesses here in Charleston. Her wedding dress designs are so beautifully creative and lovely. I know we will be back in the future for a wedding dress or two also!

Alena was very sweet although I only met her once for the alterations with my wedding dress. I was really disappointed because I saw all the amazing reviews and had a very simple alteration of hemming, taking in the sides, and adding a bustle. She had the dress for over a month and did not have it ready until the week of the wedding. When I picked it up from the other woman working for her, the dress was taken in too much. The most disappointing part was the bustle she added did not hold and broke at my wedding, so while having my first dance I was stepping on my dress. I really wish Alena had worked on my dress herself and made time to get it to me and make sure it was perfect.

Alena was awesome! I was lucky enough to find a dress at David’s bridal that I loved but I didn’t want to have them alter it. Alena was just their person I needed. She was easy to work with, her prices were fair, and she did high quality work, and helped me figure out what I wanted to do to jazz up the dress just a little bit! I kept my dress a secret from almost everyone till the day of and everyone loves it! I got so many compliments!

Alena is a wedding dress magician, theres no other way to put it! I came to her for alterations for my wedding dress which had a lot of lace and some small areas in the mesh that needed to be repaired and she did a wonderful job. The dress turned out beautiful and fit me like a glove! My only regret is not having her also do the alterations for my husbands suit who had his alterations done through a major mens clothing store chain! I would highly recommend her to absolutely anyone.

Alena was the fairy godmother of my wedding! She beautifully altered my ceremony and reception dresses. She also reworked my mothers dress and handled a last minute bridesmaid dress issue. Her work is flawless and she is a true master of her craft. Additionally, she is such a warm, friendly person and I always left her studio with a smile on my face. I wish I could give her 10 stars!

Words can’t even describe how amazing it has been since meeting Alena! I gave her my bridal dress for alteration so it can look a little more romantic and personalized and she has made it so beautiful that I’m no longer worried about it as I originally was. She has the sweetest personality and works to get the project done with perfection! I actually got teary eyed when she was with me for the fitting, which didn’t even happen to me when I found the dress. Alena was great! She responded right away every time I contacted her. I dropped my dress off, and she had my alternations finished in about 3 weeks (hemmed, straps shortened, cups added, bustle). My dress looks great now. Shes super nice, and her price was much better than other places I looked in Charleston. I definitely recommend her!

Alena was PHENOMENAL! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!I got married on Nov 24th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I got to Charleston on Wednesday, Nov 21, tried on my dress for the first time in months having had no prior alterations, and realized that I needed it adjusted by like an inch! [It fit perfectly, but I had to get through 3 Thanksgivings, a rehearsal dinner, and LOTS of drinking so I wanted some wiggle room.]At 6pm on Nov. 21, I called Alena’s number and by the grace of God, she answered. She had just closed up for the night and was leaving the shop. I told her my predicament and she responds “send me your address, I’m on my way. I’ve got you.” She stopped by my brother’s home where I was staying, took a look at the dress and said “I’ll have it done and back to you on Friday before your rehearsal.”Even with the holiday and her plans, she was my saving grace and adjusted my dress beautifully. It fit perfectly on my wedding day, and I will be forever grateful to her for her attitude, dedication, and incredible work!

Alena did and excellent job on my gown! When I first gave her my gown for alterations I hated it. It didnt represent who I was and was boring. After I explained my vision to Alena she took my dress and took it to the next level! She added bling and the alterations had my body with the best hour glass figure ever!
