I had two appointments at Lovely Bride before saying YES TO THE DRESS! After my first appointment I canceled with my other bridal appointments because I had such a great experience at Lovely! Nicole was my stylist and she was fantastic!! She made me feel so comfortable and after telling her what I was looking for she pointed me in the right direction. Overall it was a great experience. I had so much fun and felt confident after walking out of my appointment. Becoming a Lovely Bride is something I will never regret!!!

I loved Lovely’s online dress book, where you select dresses you want to try on & get to preview their inventory. After my appointment with Nicole I left so confident and excited. She is calm, kind, informative, and professional. We had the whole store to ourselves and never felt rushed, which is a stark contrast to other bridal stores. I ended up purchasing the first dress Nicole picked out for me. I had a sub-par wedding dress shopping experience the day before I went to Lovely and was feeling unsure about the entire process - Nicole at Lovely Charleston changed everything! From accommodating us when we arrived 30 minutes early on accident, to truly listening to what I was looking for and bringing out dresses that felt like me - I could not have had a better wedding dress shopping experience. If you want the experience of buying a wedding dress in Charleston, this is about it. The experience in the shop was great with Nicole, I ended up finding my dress after a long appt and did not think I would. I was surprised that they did not offer champagne or anything throughout the appt or at the conclusion when doing paperwork. I told them I did not want my dress shipped to NC that I would come and pick it up, I met with Emily this time and not Nicole. She was eager to have me put on the dress and push me back out the door. Not leaving time for a moment of happiness that I am trying on MY wedding dress for the first time.Like I said if you want to go wedding dress shopping on King St, this was for sure the experience of the location and the gowns were amazing. But for the price, they are lacking on the red carpet treatment I have received in other shops with friends weddings.

From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us and made myself and my guests feel like the most important people in the world! This was by far the worst bridal appointment I have experienced. Which is very disappointing because I was very excited to go to Lovely. The consultant was not very friendly & was very pushy for me to only try on dresses that were similar to my Pinterest board. I wasn’t able to look at the inventory myself to choose dresses to try on. My appointment was booked for an hour & a half & I left after 45 minutes. The consultant made it extremely uncomfortable & I would avoid Lovely when dress shopping. They seem to follow trends & don’t have anything classic & timeless (I could be wrong but I wouldn’t know that since the consultant wouldn’t let me look at their inventory) if I could give this shop less than 1 Star, I would.

A truly lovely experience. Jaye was so wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcomed and comfortable, offering us drinks (champagne!!) and had us seated in their cute front lounge area. She listened and understood exactly what I was looking for and picked out the best dresses for the style I was wanting. She was relaxed but still extremely knowledgable and fun to work with. She did a wonderful job of pinning the dresses (offering a look of both the front AND back) and was extremely patient with all my requests. Adorable atmosphere (it smelled SO good!) and great dress offerings. High recommend!

I had a wonderful experience here! Jaye was so helpful, sweet and down to earth. I was working with a $1500 budget because I had bought a different dress online that I was not in love with and could not return. Jaye was able to help me find the dreamiest gown from their sample sale within my budget that was also one of the brands I love too. I felt so accommodated especially with a lot of gowns ranging in the $2500-$3000. The store aesthetic is so adorable too! Just an overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend.

I recently went to Lovely Bridal in Charleston, SC with my family to look for my dream dress! First off I wanna say this experience was honestly a 11/10 I was greeted by the kindest soul Jaye (My guardian angel) Literally as soon as I stepped foot in the salon, I was hit by the most beautiful scent I’ve ever smelt ( AROMA THERAPY IS A REAL THING) It literally smelt like positive, amazing energy with a hit of possibly vanilla & me finding my dress 🤞🏽 (I bought one from the website btw) Then she brought over champagne, honey!!! She made me feel very comfortable and at ease....since hello we are looking for our dream dress how could one not be a little nervous + excited etc! We had an amazing consultation & the dresses she pulled were nothing but 10‘s, I was like how the heck am I gonna pick my dress with all the stunning options? My step mother & Jaye knew there was one In the back possibly with my name all over it! So she pulls it and as soon as I put it on WE SHED REAL TEARS!! Jaye being the amazing bridal consultant that she is then placed a beautiful veil and then she knew what time it was...Tears were shed again, she immediately grabbed tissue and I SAID YES THE DRESS! I truly don’t know if I would of found my dress if it wasn’t for her! She was an amazing listener & had a very calm, warm energy! I purposely am having my dress sent to Lovely just so I can see her again when I pick it up! 11/10 🤩THANK YOU JAYE & LOVELY BRIDE!!!

We went shopping for my best friends wedding dress and had a great time. The stylist was very attentive to her likes and dislikes, helping her zone in on what she was looking for. Since this was her first dress shopping experience and we told the stylist we did have other appointments set up, we did not end up buying a dress right then and there. Even knowing this the stylist was very great, informative, helpful, and overall pleasant. In the end we did find the dress we are basically sure is the one :D and hopefully shell be going back for her measurements soon!!

This was my very first wedding dress shopping experience and I am sad to say it was not a good one in terms of customer service. The consultant was a bit pushy towards me and my two bridesmaids who accompanied me. She didnt introduce herself and began our welcome by saying she was going to be bossy and that decisions were going to be made today. This may have been her way of saying we will find you a dress but it came off rude. Additionally, she failed to mention up front what the mask policy was and then made me feel embarrassed when I moved it out of the way for a photo and told me she would pass the fine right along to me. I was extremely apologetic but embarrassed- both of which could have been avoided if the policy was laid out at the start of the appointment. The last thing that made the experience a bad one is that the dress she pulled that I fell in love with was $600 over my maximum budget, $1000 over my desired budget I laid out at the start of the appointment. I will say the shop is adorable, I was able to see a wide variety of dresses and I did find a dress I loved- however I did not get it as it was over budget. :(

I had an awesome experience at Lovely Bride. I had done some research before dress shopping, and I was very excited to visit Lovely Bride because of the designers they carry. The boutique is gorgeous and has a modern feel to it. Jaye was super sweet and helpful. She made dress shopping a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Nice employees but make sure you have dresses in mind from them before you go. They don’t carry many dresses so unless you want a specific one from their designer it’s not worth your time. The shopping experience isn’t as special as it is in other stores. It felt more like trying on dresses from a dept store and you won’t get the “bride” experience here.

What an amazing experience. Molly gave us such a warm welcome into the store, she really tried to get to know me before we even saw the dresses. She made us all feel right at home and was right there if we had questions, needed help with anything or wanted to try something new. I found THE ONE here! The store is gorgeous! A must on the list if youre in the market for your wedding dress.

Well that all changed when I was presented with my 3rd beautiful gown that We tried on.I think the craziest take back from this experience was how spot on J was at knowing exactly what I wanted and never losing sight of that. Emily is amazing! I had a not so great experience at a different location, but Emily made this a phenomenal experience for me. She paid attention to every detail, walked me through the dresses, made great suggestions and helped me to find the dress that suited me best based on what I wanted. She even reminded some of the bossier individuals in my group that she was there to make sure every dress pulled was something I would want. I really cant say enough good things, I am just so happy with this experience.

I booked an appointment for my sister in law to be. She was visiting from out of state and it was her first time looking at dresses. The stylist was very one note, and didn’t show her many options or help her determine what my sister in law was looking for. She was rude and almost passive as if she knew we weren’t going to buy a dress that day. My sister in law left feeling ignored and It was disappointing because I wanted her to feel like a queen and unfortunately even though lovely came highly recommended by my local friends we were treated like outcast.

I had the best experience today at Lovely Bride CHS. The stylist, Jaye, was sooo nice and seriously knew her stuff. I told her the style I was going for and she pulled 6-8 dresses in that style and budget and also pulled a couple that were different styles just to make sure. I cant stress enough how nice she was and helpful!! She was not pushy at all and let us talk it over before I said yes to my dress!!

I made two trips to Charleston for my dream dress, and it went off without a hitch thanks to the ladies at Lovely. It was such an intimate setting and I was able to see all of the dresses, and try on a few KWH dresses as well (the initial reason I chose this boutique). I thought I may have found *the one* when I went with my dad and his girlfriend but knew I couldnt say yes without my mom and sister...so I scheduled a second appointment! To avoid any hurt feelings, I asked the ladies to not mention the first appointment and they played along perfectly. I ended up walking in and immediately seeing a new dress, tried it on and it was THE ONE (Made with Love, Harlie dress in bone with a front slit). While my family suggest I sleep on it, we went for lunch and I couldnt wait any longer, we had to go back and get it! If youre looking for an intimate experience with enough inventory to have variety but not so much you feel overwhelmed with choices, check out Lovely for your perfect fit!

I sincerely cannot say enough good things about my experience at the Lovely Bride Charleston location. The shop itself is absolutely gorgeous, and Emily did a wonderful job accommodating myself and my two guests the entire time--everything from adjusting the music in the background, to calling the designers directly to relay unique inquiries, to accommodating our requests even outside of business hours. She truly went above and beyond to make our experience memorable, all while helping me to pick out the perfect look for my big day. The dresses, veils, toppers, and accessories are also utterly stunning, and it was difficult not to fall in love with almost everything I tried on. I wound up purchasing two pieces and cannot wait to walk down the aisle in them! I have and will continue to highly recommend Lovely Charleston to newlyweds..you wont be disappointed! (:

Chain Store!!!! So rude and unwelcoming. Staff was annoyed because our budget wasn’t 3000.00. No one in the store and staff was not interested in helping. And what’s funny is same dress was ordered online from another retailer, being sent to our home and being altered for free. An overpriced David’s Bridal. Just because it’s on Kings doesn’t mean it’s better!!!

We had a very disappointing experience in this shop. At 6:30 we were told there would be no more try ons. We could talk about the dresses-but we could not try on. Obviously the owner did not want to make a sale.I traveled fro NJ to buy her dress. Oh well- we did find one. Judy Pierce

Sadly our experience at Lovely Bride was not good. Thank goodness it was not our first bridal store experience. We arrived about three minutes early for our three oclock appointment. My daughter had called ahead to make sure it was ok if there was six of us. The website says they only allow four guests to attend with the bride. With me, my daughters grandmother, her maid of honor, and her two sisters, we had six in our party. They said that would be fine. The first comment from the sales girl Jaye, was a reference to our large group. She was still with her previous appointment so she ushered us to a room to wait. It was nearly 3:30 before we were able to get started. After the client had left, several of our group went to the back to look at dresses while the sales girl talked with my daughter, Ryleigh. I stayed with them. After she was done asking what type of dress Ryleigh wanted, no real specifics, just a style that accentuated her small waist. She is a size 10-12 normally, but has a beautiful hour glass figure. We walked to the back where the dresses were and the sales girl promptly asked us to go back to the front that she would select the dresses for Ryleigh to try on. It was so very different from our other experience where we were all included and we were able to find several options that Ryleigh loved.Ryleigh had only tried on a couple dresses, which Jaye had picked out, most of which were not at all suited for her shape, when the next appoint showed up with two small children in tow. Now I loved kids, but it really distracted from our experience when a baby was fussing in the room right next to us. It was really a disappointing experience overall. We were extremely rushed, the dresses that were chosen were ill-suited for Ryleighs figure and we were made to feel uncomfortable. Fortunately our other two dress shopping experiences were fantastic and Ryleigh was able to find her perfect wedding dress elsewhere.Do not believe the hype about Lovely Bride!
