The College of Charleston Bookstore is a great place to get all things College of Charleston in place. Besides getting textbooks and other things required for class they have a wonderful selection of CofC gear and apparel that has everything you need to be head to toe Cougar. This is a great place to find gifts and other quick items. They also have a good choice of College of Charleston related books and other Charleston area items here. I really like the layout of this store as everything is wide open and easy to find. The staff here is very knowledgeable and able to help you find any particular item you are looking for or answer any question that you may have. I have always liked this store and enjoy being able to come here often.

I ordered online some christmas gifts for my family and I did accidentally get shipped one of the wrong items, however I emailed customer service, got a reply within 12 hours and my problem was solved with the help of Stephen Jones the General Manager! I was very appreciative of his help!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Always volunteer to help you find your items. If you have a question, they make sure you get seen answer. They work at a nice pace under pressure while still giving excellent service!

Very friendly staff but horribly overpriced textbooks.

They have a good selection of items here. The Cougar gear selection is amazing, but a bit overpriced. Also they often get textbook orders wrong. Check your texts with a professor as early as possible. The staff are all very helpful too.

Awesome space interesting selection and if they dont have a book they will always order it for me and I usually get it in a few days.They have lots of other random CofC gear and interesting clothes and gifts in addition to books, but some of the Charleston gear is a little on the pricey side.All in all staff is usually pretty helpful and I still like going into a bookstore... I always end up finding something interesting when I go there.

Incredibly high prices for apparel. A big, beautiful store, but you’ll pay a pretty penny for anything of note.

This morning starts out wonderful. Helping an elderly couple find their way to MUSC Hospital. At 5 am the Mrs. Asked me to give her directions to the hospital. I told her to follow me. They both were so appreciative she insisted on me accepting her thanks and gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek and I also shook her husband hand and told them that Ill say a prayer for them. They were shocked to know that they were on Johns island. She didnt see color and I most certainly didnt either. My heart goes out to them and all of our elderly parents having to travel alone early, late or even during the day. I was at the right place at the right time.

Place is spectacular! Contains all of my scholarly needs and so much more. Thank you CofC!!!

Pretty much everything here is severely over priced. They gauge college students as if they arent being gauged enough by tuition.

Only real book store downtown, and since CofC apparel and textbooks take up half the store, regular book store maybe 1/5 the size of regular B&N. Does have good local book selection and service but doesnt carry lots of magazines.

Criminal prices. Employees lied and said I couldnt buy certain books online costing me hundreds of dollars. Buy online, buy international versions, torrent the textbooks... whatever you have to do to avoid this type of price gouging.
