Its a quaint little book store. They often have events too. I like to attend the Get Lit Book Series when I have the time. They always have a nice selection of books for any need.

This is the best bookstore in Charleston! They have a wonderful browsing selection. I always find something I didnt even know I wanted.If youre in the area, I definitely recommend their book club. Ive attended one and I really enjoyed the conversation.

This is my favorite book shop. Its small, independent and staffed by folks that give a darn. Dont see it on the shelf? Theyll order it for you. They sponsor community events and makers markets and try to be actively inclusive.

This is such a cute local bookstore! though small, they make great use of the space and have a good range of books for adults, teens, and kids. the discount section right at the door and the stickers/shirts/other non book merch are fun touches too. I like the attention to lgbtq+ titles, local history, and popular releases. definitely will be coming back soon!

I am thoroughly pleased with the selection of books on the shelves and Im even more impressed with the helpfulness of the booksellers. I recently needed to put together an special order and the level of service I received was absolutely fantastic. They were willing to order every title I asked for and even gave some great suggestions for replacements to the titles completely out of stock.

This lovely bookstore is a hidden gem. Its fully stocked with titles in various genres to suit many interests and audiences including children, teens, and adults. The store is also stocked with merchandise like pens, bookmarks, tote bags, and novelty items. The store will email you the receipt, so you can elect a no contact check out option. The cashier sits behind a plexiglass wall, so it is COVID-19 safe. There was also a cute corgi guarding the entrance who made the trip all the more enjoyable.

I havent had a pleasure to go into the store, but watching their live streams and the honest opinions of the books is Fantastic. The selection on the site is impeccable and the summaries give you a great look into books with spoilers. I suggest this place to all of my friends for their books!

This is an incredible little bookstore! I always find some great new reads besides what I went for, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Though its a small space (which obviously has an impact on stock), they can order just about anything in - at least I have not had a problem in getting something - and the delivery time is not bad. Call me outdated, but I honestly enjoy waiting for the email saying that my book is in; it makes shopping feel special!For book and bookstore lovers out there, this place is a must visit.

Itinerate Literate is a hidden gem of the Park Circle community. If you are looking for some new books to read or just a cool place to have great conversation go visit this shop. The owners Julia and Christen are both super sweet ladies and will take the time to help you find a book that you will love. You should also go by the last Friday of the month and check out their open mic that allows local poets, authors, musicians, and comedians to share their work. I am so excited to see how this company continues to grow and foster a literary community in Park Circle.

I used to get all my books from Amazon, but now only from Itinerant Literate. They offer a 15% discount to educators on the second Saturday of the month. They’ve introduced me personally to several of my favorite books. They know me and they know books better than any algorithm Amazon can muster. I buy birthday and Christmas presents from here and I pass on my new favorite reads to my students who love them in turn. I’ve recently started using their affiliated apps that allow for ebooks and audiobooks. Yeah, I’m paying more than I used to, but I’m also getting so much more than before. I’m so grateful for this shop!

Great bookstore. Huge selection of childrens & young adult books. Large selection of graphic novels, literary fiction, a good size selection of memoirs, essays, contemporary poetry. Seating for anyone who wants to hang out and read a book on the front lawn. They also sell cards and jewelry from, I reckon, local or regional artisans. Quick warning: there is a sweet corgi there who will bark and growl when she hears people coming towards the door!

Cute bookstore. Its a little small, but its very quaint and charming. The restroom is very large for such a small store - there is even a baby changing station in there!! The girl working at the counter was very friendly and helpful!

Also always have something going on during the weekends.They have everything from children, YA, sci-fi, local SC authors/history, cookbooks, non-fiction, to coffee table pieces. Just how a bookshop should feel. It is small but they have done a wonderful job filling the space with books--without it feeling cluttered, claustrophobic, or overwhelming. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have some great ongoing features, such as a monthly book club with themed dinner party, and a blind date book shelf.
