As a first time boat owner I was a little anxious about putting my boat up for the winter. I happened to be in Charleston the other day so I decided to stop by Charleston Marine. Am I ever glad I did !!! I asked the kind lady behind the counter if she was an expert on Mercury outboards. She said she was still learning, but she would be happy to call Riley. He came down and asked me few questions about what motor I had and what I wanted to do. After telling him I wanted to winterize my Mercury 115 hp Pro XS outboard he quickly grabbed all the stuff I needed off nearby shelves and answered all my questions. I left there confident that I had everything I needed and how to complete each service task. I highly recommend using Charleston Marine. Its conveniently located just off McCorkle Ave under the south side of the Patrick St Bridge.

Weve just bought our second boat from Charleston Marine. They took our 1999 Sea Ray in on trade, if you are looking for a nice used 27 Cruiser, its a nice one. With our growing family a pontoon boat makes more sense and we love the one we bought. We highly recommend Charleston Marine.

A great place for a boating enthusiast to visit.

I docked my boat here the last couple years. Found out this year their security cameras dont work after me and a dozen others had their boats burglarized. Gate to dock doesnt lock and some of the lights on the dock dont work. The light by my slip was out all year.
