My girlfriend and I will not take our cars anywhere else. We stumbled upon Cameron by dumb luck and the experience is always great. Fair prices and honest about all the repairs. This is great because if my girlfriend goes into a car shop without me, they tend to add the “pink tax”. Literally the best car shop ever. Honest labor & prices, nice people, and quality work. Most importantly, if they make a mistake, they will tell you and make it right. Theyve done basic oil changes, performance components installation, suspension, tires and wheels, and other work to my 2012 VW Golf R.

These guys are excellent. Friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I have only used them for various oil changes and one main repair. Found them to be honest and in this business, that counts for almost half of their successes (of course their other half would be knowing how to fix/ assess car problems) My only complaint? Having to listen to Fox news on the TV while waiting! But hey, they balance it out with free coffee and crackers (the good stuff). Keep up the good work fellas!

I had this shop perform a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle that I was considering. Great experience from beginning to end. Scope of work was clearly defined, results were furnished promptly, and I was given a phone call to discuss with more detail. Completely objective evaluation where I decided not to buy the car that I was considering, but I am pleased with the service and cost provided by this business. Definitely 5 star recommendation.

We were almost getting rid of our Lexus due to major repair issue but at last minute, I happened to call Cameron at CARS, who took care of everything including having it towed from the dealer, diagnostic and estimates- everything even w/o meeting me in person (i was completely hands off). They did everything perfectly, very reasonably priced. When a small crack on windshield was detected, they replaced it for free! So happy. Even though we live 30 miles away, plan to go there for any future repair needs.

This is now my go-to auto repair shop... and I live in Bethesda, Maryland. Yes - I cross a river, traverse highways, multiple exits, and use up gas to come here so I can drop off my car with CARS.I have a Jeep Wrangler that I do most of the work on myself. I had a quick, but messy coolant related repair job that I did not feel like doing outside in freezing cold weather so a friend of mine suggested I try this shop (Note: even if the weather wasnt freezing, I worry about doing any radiator work or repair that involves antifreeze and coolant fluid because the residue if left around quickly kills pets of all kinds. Animals are attracted to the sweet/candy scent of coolant and antifreeze. Look this up if you dont believe me that antifreeze kills dogs and cats within 72 hours or less from just one lick due to kidney failure. Even if thoroughly rinsed away, a drop of antifreeze will cause permanent kidney damage to most pets.)So, I called CARS to get a couple parts replaced as well as the coolant flushed. They said I could bring it in the next day so I did. The car was ready to go when they said it would be done, parts installed perfectly, coolant flushed, and the check engine light gone all for a fair price that was MUCH cheaper than the Jeep dealer and the many auto repair shops in our area that price gouge dishonestly.A friend of mine referred this place to me and now I too will be referring their service to others I know in need of quality, timely, and transparent auto repair services.

I have been coming to CARS for my oil changes for a while, and I brought my car recently to have my engine coils and spark plugs replaced, they were quick, efficient, and didnt gouge their prices like a few other places I had called. They have been a great place to go for my car needs, very straightforward and honest.Update 10/11/2021This place is AWESOME. They really go above an beyond all the other car places, and I cant begin to emphasize how reliable they are. A+ all around.

So thankful I found C.A.R.S. and will use them for all maintenance on my 2011 Jetta from now on! After damage caused by an oil change at Valvoline in Alexandria, C.A.R.S. diagnosed the issue of a damaged drain plug, replaced the oil pan, and provided photos to use in my claim I filed with Valvoline.C.A.R.S also quickly assessed the need for a new battery, general maintenance, and upcoming major maintenance needed. These guys are always very professional, honest, and helpful. I have a difficult car to work on (Audi s4) and typical get charged hundreds of dollars more for repair at dealerships or other shops. Cameron also always makes solid recommendations on maintenance and DIY projects to improve the longevity of the car. They will even give me tips if I’m doing the work myself, free of charge. Parts are always overnighted and the work is usually done within the time that I’m at work. Highly recommend this shop, you will not be disappointed.

I just recently got my ignition starter replaced by CARS for my Honda Civic. CARS charged me far less than Chantilly Honda (in hundreds of dollars). CARS got the repair done very fast and my Civic starts very nice and robustly now.This was my second time (first time over 20 years ago) with CARS and each time the guys there were upfront and straight forward and not try to rake you.They may not have the slick waiting lounge, but I highly recommend them for honest auto repairs without snooty service reps and inflated repair costs.

If you are wondering about safety during this pandemic, this place is not equipped to curb the spread of Covid-19. No masks, no social distancing and even the CDC sign at their doors doesnt mention the virus, only germs. I was given the look for wearing a mask and social distancing. Made an appointment for an oil change, it usually takes 45 mins at most, this service took 1h30mins while Im waiting. I have been told that I will pass inspection but it didnt. Picked up me car and as I was disinfecting it, I found a dirty, oil soaked mechanic rag under my passenger seat. Will never go back! I no longer recommend!

I’ve been taking my work truck (2004 Ford F-250 super duty with 220,000 Miles) to Sean and Cameron since they took over ownership of this repair shop. They have replaced two ball joints, a transfer case and installed two spark plug kits (apparently a common problem with ford). All work was done with professionalism, reasonable price point and timely. I’ve never had to miss work because of a scheduled repair. They advised me on some maintenance to my air conditioning compressor so I could replace it myself. They extracted the coolant and contained it for me for a few days while I replaced the compressor then put it back in the vehicle. That was last summer. A/C will still freeze you out of the cab. They have performed all preventative maintenance on this vehicle over the past 18 months. I wouldn’t consider taking anything I own to anyone else. These men are trustworthy and reliable.

This is an honest, fairly priced and very a accommodating place to have your car serviced. I only have one car and they’ll schedule me so I’m able to wait. I’d much rather take my Cayenne here than the dealer. The dealer would provide me a loaner car, I’ll give them that, but when they charge $500 for an oil change I think I could rent a limo for the day and still come out ahead!

Grew up helping my dad work on cars and doing oil changes. After kids have no time to do car stuff on my own and got tired of my check engine light going off every time after taking it somewhere for just an oil change. I came here after my alternator went out on my Lexus. These guys took great care of my alternator, break rattling issue, and notified me of any other issues that would need to be addressed within the next 6 months. With all of that, they were still half the price of what the dealership wanted to charge me. Nothing was pushed on me, and they were very honest and upfront. I appreciate that kind of service!

One of the last honest auto repair shops around! I am a shade tree mechanic with quite a bit of knowledge on cars and Mr. Han is one of the best with advice and service who uses quality parts! They actually care about people with car problems and dont try to mechanic talk you into fear and overpriced repairs. If you dont need it right away he will tell you but trust his advice. All my cars will be here when needed.

I dont usually write reviews, but felt the need in this particular instance. I have never been fond of auto repair shops. Just because theyre friendly over the phone and in person, doesnt mean theyre going to do whats in your best interest. I called a few local shops that all had good reviews, but I decided to take my Jeep Wrangler into Chantilly Auto Repair when my check engine light came on. One of the shops didnt answer their phone for over two hours and a couple of the others said they charged for a diagnostic check. Chantilly Auto Repair said their full diagnostic check was free, so I figured I had nothing to lose. They saw me right away and after running the check, fully explained that the engine was sound and that it was nothing more than an issue with the power steering. Being that my Jeep is 17 years old, they could have told me any number of things, but they were honest about what needed to be done for a really good price. The shop owner even offered to let me use his car if I needed to while he took care of my Jeep! I needed my differential fluid flushed too so I let him go ahead and do that also. He realized while working on my Jeep that the power steering sensor needed to be replaced. Since he didnt realize that at first, Mr. Han, the shop owner, ordered the power steering sensor, installed it, and DIDNT charge me for it. What shop does that? None that I have heard of. He also noticed my left reverse light was out so he changed that for me without charge too! Needless to say, I loved my experience with Chantilly Auto Repair and will ALWAYS take my vehicles to them from now on and refer all of my family and friends with confidence.

Sean and Cameron were great! I had my vehicle taken to other shops that couldnt diagnose a check engine light. After spending over 1100 dollars in repairs, Cameron and Sean were able to repair the car and also show me the part that was bad. They are very honest and helpful. I was looking for a different mechanic to be able to trust, and was referred here. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did they take a look at my car immediately, but they put it up on the lift and took me underneath and showed me everything. They didnt try to sell me on any of it... they explained the issue and treated me like a valued customer from the minute I walked in there. I also appreciated that I wasnt treated like a girl who knows nothing about cars, because that is absolutely untrue.They completed the work within a day and my car runs SO smoothly now. I will be returning here for any other work I need.

We came up on this place by accident. The first time they saw a vehicle for us the price was about half compared to where it was supposed to go. The service is always done right and they go above and beyond. From then on we have been taking Vehicles there and always get great service by Cameron and the rest of the crew.

These guys are amazing!!!By looking at the positive reviews on google, I tried to give them a shot. Had an issue with a 10 year old Toyota Highlander where my oil was leaking. Took to them and found out that the oil cooler line assembly was busted. Had them replaced at a way more reasonable price in comparison to the Toyota Dealership. A couple of months later, had the same issue and took back my car in. They checked and the new assembly got busted again. Without any hesitation, they agreed to replace free of cost. It shows that they truly keep up their promise about warranty and timeline. Kudos to these guys, and thought that I should return back for any future issues.A couple of weeks ago, I had an issue with my ABS and VSC sensor go on and off frequently. As promised to myself, I returned back to these guys. They kept the car for a couple of days and found nothing come up in their codes. While they think that the sensor could be the issue and could be replaced, they were big against changing them until they get a solid confirmation, and not charged me a penny for checking them for a few days. This shows their integrity!!!!! Had I taken my car to a dealership, I would have come back with a couple of hundreds $$$ light on my wallet.I usually dont go thru lengthy reviews about any firm or service, but I had to in this case.I have my highest recommendation and surely be a returning customer myself for any car that I own. BTW, do you guys service Porsche??? I am not an owner yet, but if you do service, I wouldnt mind venturing into them in the near future.While growth is inevitable for these guys, my only wish for the ownership would be have the same service, honestly and integrity to your customers for ever.Keep it up, Guys!!!!!!

Fantastic experience, had to get my engine looked at because a I had a noise coming from it. It took them 10 minutes to figure out what it was and they ordered the parts. Came back in a few days and done. Plus it was a lot cheaper than my other mechanic. This is now my go to mechanic.

I took my XTerra in to replace a fuel injector and relearn the idle. Im a fairly mechanically minded person and I do a lot of my own repairs, but this one was beyond me. Cameron was great to work with and the mechanic that did the repair did an excellent job. They fixed what I asked them to fix and diagnosed a separate issue at an honest price. Ive tried a lot of mechanics in the area and been dissatisfied with the service (a lot of them try to upsell you on stuff), but I think I may have finally found a shop I can take my vehicles to and trust that things will be done right at a fair price. As an added bonus I called in the morning, dropped the vehicle off at 11am and had it back by close of business the same day. Not sure if thats typical for this shop or not, but I was definitely impressed with the turnaround time. They also had Top Gear reruns going in the waiting room, so whats not to like?

Groupon says Extra fee for over 5 quarts of oilI just found this note now from the Groupon description.Because I paid $19.95 extra when checkout without advanced notice before the service.There should be estimate cost before the job.Their Groupon price was $49.99 instead of $86If I had service without Groupon, it would be $106.Anyway my cost for this oil change was $69.95 which still cheaper than local dealership, but I would just go to local bmw for $99.95 with bmw special by dealership.
