Just had a great experience working with Irene on a swap/upgrade to a new iPhone. She is a Verizon Wireless veteran and a recent transfer from the east coast (lucky AZ!). I could not have been happier with her knowledge, guidance, and support! The other employees were also very pleasant and helpful. The handoff from my online chat experience to the retail store was good and the trade-in of my old iPhone was fair and easy (without jumping though hoops). This was my best Verizon Wireless experience in the 25 years that Ive been a customer! Kudos to Verizon Wireless because none of this happens without a huge focus on process improvement.

The staff at this location were very friendly and courteous. We experienced a Porting issue, which they resolved quickly with a call the the Porting Department. The store seemed modern, well stocked, and organized. I would highly recommend this location for those needing cellphones, tablets, watches, etc. This location makes me proud to be a loyal Verizon customer.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been a loyal customer with Verizon for over 10 years now. Ive been to multiple Verizons all over this country and this one was by far the worst one Ive been to. I understand being busy and helping customers, I dont mind waiting when thats the case. I also dont mind people going in front of me when they have appointments theyve made, but this location and its associates do not value their customers time. You had two associates go to the back for over 10 minutes when you had 4 customers waiting. Then someone that arrived after I did gets seen first. I asked the person that checked me in why that person got seen first. He says he had an appointment, which again I dont mind, what I mind is him as the associates not having the courtesy of telling me so when Ive been waiting a while. This is the same person who instead of engaging with the customers was on his phone multiple times.

I think this store is lucky that no stars are avaliable. I came into the store wanting to become a new customer and was waiting as the manager asked me to. Other people were coming into the store and were being attended while i continued to wait. As I waited for over 45 minutes i grew tired and walked away. Sorry not sorry i guess Tmobile is who I will continue to do business with.

Visited this location today to purchase a couple of new phones to replace our outdated iPhones. We put this off for weeks because our past experiences haven’t been very good with either waiting for a very long time for service or not receiving detailed information which would result in an unexpected 20% increase on our monthly bill. We were pleasantly surprised with today’s trip. Kathleen was extremely informative and helpful. She directed us to a plan that suited the needs of our family and actually saved us money on our bill. She took the time to map out various options leading to the one that provided us with more services at a lower rate. I’ve never had such amazing service from any Verizon before and we have been Verizon customers for over 18 years. If you have to make a trip to Verizon go to Arizona Ave location in Chandler and see her, she will make your visit easy, enjoyable and overall a wonderful experience.

I went to Verizon yesterday to upgrade my BlackBerry. In West South Africa blackberries are cutting edge technology, but Im told theres better. The man who greeted me was about 52, very chubby, and I definelty sensed he was a Pisces. I asked him what phone I should upgrade to and he showed me the brand new iPhone. When I heard the price my balls dropped to the Lions paw and I was left dumbfounded. This iPhone cost $1,200, do you know how many Subway sandwiches I could buy with that.

I bought a RAZR phone from this place. In less than 2 weeks, the phone popped when opening and bled the screen. No drops, no crazy damage or anything.... I was assured by the rep on the phone that the store would replace my phone especially within their 30 day deal... Went into the store and basically was accused of sampling the phone and was told they would not do anything. For lack of better terms, the associate basically questioned my integrity which is very offensive. Had I dropped the phone, I hold myself accountable and would have just gone the insurance route. But for the employee to nit care and basically call me a liar is another thing. I have been with Verizon since the beginning of cell phones becoming an everyday part of life. This is not appreciated and theyre losing a customer that pays 5 grand a year off of the principal that they wont take care of you and even be disrespectful toward you.

Lionel at this location is amazing and the whole reason for this review. He knows his stuff and was very helpful. We ended up getting 4 new phones, adding a line and had a ton of questions. Have no complaints. They enforce masks and limit the number of people in their store which is appreciated during a pandemic. Staff member who helped me with my pre-paid was friendly and helpful. When he couldn’t help with full porting he gave me the phone number of the department who could help and they were great and very efficient. Verizon’s cellular service far exceeds T-Mobile/Sprint. When you’re driving and rely on cell service for directions that’s important.

In the past 18 years I asked them numerous time to do something about the poor cell phone signal, but nothing was done. Wasn’t sure where to provide this feedback but if Verizon doesn’t switch from Fedx to UPS for device delivery I’m switching cell providers. The frustration of a botched delivery really takes away from the overall excitement of a new device and I’ve about had it with the nonsense from Fedx.

This is our local Verizon store. We dont often have a need to go in to the store, but the two recent occasions we did were awesome. The staff here is always super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The most recent time, Kathleen had us out the door with an upgraded iPhone in less than 15 minutes. Now that is great service. Thank you.

Shout-out to Travis Z. He was extremely helpful and made transferring my service to Verizon very easy, and he didnt try to sell me anything I didnt want or need... I was able to use the phone and phone number I already had, and the whole process was done in less than half an hour. I left with my phone connected and dont have to pay a dime until next month. With Managers keeping a close eye on staff to point out opportunities to sell you as much B.S. as possible to enhance your service. Lack of Honesty and IntegrityI switched my service to Verizon at this store with Ryan H. All went well until I received an email indicating my first bill would be over $419.When I came in I received a written quote indicating my monthly bill would be $190 with Verizon. I had to pay off my existing equipment charges of $700 with AT&T which I did. The written quote I received from Ryan showed my my monthly bill would be $190 and I would get $600 in credit cards in 6 weeks to help cover the equipment expenses that I had paid off. When I asked about the higher bill they told me there was an additional $160 in activation fees. When I came in and showed them the quote that did not include the activation fees ; Ryan and his supervisor were defensive and assured me they told me about the activation fees verbally. I told them they did not mention it at all and why would they leave it out of the written quote? They told me I could call customer service to see about getting the activation fees waived. I asked that they call customer service instead of me. They refused and basically told me this was my problem. Ryan and his supervisor were sarcastic, rude and disrespectful.I contacted Verizon headquarters and they waived my activation fees and asked me to explain what had transpired. Verizon was upset about the way this was handled. Afterwards, I texted Ryan that Verizon had credited back my activation fees and very respectfully explained to him how I and Verizon wished he would handled this. I got a very sarcastic response back from Ryan which I also forwarded to Verizon. I hope Ryan and his supervisor use this as a learning experience. I am still a Verizon fan and am glad I switched back. I will never go back to this store.

Great experience purchasing my new Samsung S9 - Kass was very knowledgeable and answered all my boring and heavy needs questions - I walked into the VERIZON store in S. Chandler with a purpose of just upgrading to the J7V from a dinosaur S4 and she voluntarily proved that my needs for the future would require more power and reliability which would not be met with that model. Walked in for help, no other customers in store, 5 employees standing around and talking with one another. I was asked if I need some help. I replied yes and walked to the counter. The person that asked me was reluctant to leave whatever conversation he was having with the other four employees. My question was about being billed for excessive data. He gave me a flippant answer and it was obvious that he really didnt have the answer for my question. But he was eager to sell me a larger data plan. I just walked away before I said something bad to him and provoked an incident. Pi$$ poor service for sure......

The customer service here is the worst I have ever had. I get better customer service at McDonalds. The manager Jeff was incompetent. They kept my battery to my phone and refused to reimburse me for the overnight shipping that I paid for when I did not get my phone til the following day. I have since been rembursed through Verizon directly. They simply dont run a good customer service team at this location so if at all possible choose another location. It will save you time and stress.

Store LIED to me saying my ATT S8 could not be moved to Verizon and wanted to buy my brand new S8 for 200 bucks and sell me a new Note. Left the store KNOWING I was being lied to, KNOWING I was being up sold and yet they kept on lying. They sold me a screen protector for my phone and when iwas buying it the guy said that ithad life time warranty and that if it ever needed a replacement screen i can just walk to the store and get it replaced no problem. Well today was the day that, i needed a replacement on my screen protector and when i asked if it could get replaced they told me that i had to send the old one back and pay for shipping and handling, then i will get a new one I the mail. Whan i asked the girl about it she said we never said that like if she was there when i bought the damn thing. The girl was rude and no people skills at all. I didnt feel like arguing do i just walk away and i told her, i paid the over priced amount for convenience but if i have to pay even more for shiping whats the point, i could have got the same screen protector somewhere else for a lot less but i paid for convenience. i will never buy anything else from Verizon i know i can get the same products for a lot less money somewhere else. Customer service sucks in this store, if you dont know how to deal with people find a different job.

I have been a customer with Verizon Wireless since the 90s. I work for a company that gets a discount on services and accessories from Verizon. In additionally, I work for a company that is a business partner with Verizon Wireless and I am Native American. I wanted to buy a refurbished phone which requires online purchase so I had to get on MyVerizon. I couldn’t remember if I ever signed up. After trying to login and finding I did have an account, I reset my password. When I went in, I noticed that there was a message that said I had to renew my validation for my monthly discount. This was the first time I had ever seen such a message so I asked a coworker and they said that Verizon randomly asks users to revalidate from time to time. I was upset because I received no such notice, and no one at work informed me that this is something employees need to look for or do. I checked my bills as far back as November of 2013 and saw that I have not been receiving the discount. I went into this Verizon location to tell them about my problem, they said they would update the information, but REFUSED to credit me for the lost discounts. My bill is usually a little over $200 every month so my discount would be somewhere around $25/month. So we are talking about 18 months at least of lost discount, for a total of around $450. I am livid. Maybe it’s time to switch to a company that is fair to their customers. Maybe if I was white I would’ve gotten different treatment?

I know, I know, you cant really expect much from a cellphone providers store. especially on a Saturday morning. I was just hoping for a few smiles and a little effort. The manager did not greet us as we walked in he just glanced at us until i approached him. he was discourteous, disrespectful, and disingenuous. To put it short he was an absolute Prat. I put myself in line and waited 30 minutes while watching Verizon staff engage with customers that had arrived and put them selves in line after myself. The only reason i can see for this is laziness. They were closer to the counter than myself and my wife. I decided to leave and told the manager to please remove me from the list to which i got a glance and no other response. I will not be returning to this store. If Verizon didnt have the best service in my area frankly id drop them because of the experience. To all of you who have had similar experiences please dont use verizon stores anymore. use GoWireless they are a certified Verizon reseller. The experience is much better. PLEASE WRITE REVIEWS. Hopefully Verizon will pay attention and remove the current management. What a joke.

I upgraded from my old Droid to a galaxy s6 edge and the salesperson told me I only have to pay a small down payment. I trusted him and signed off and sure enough, Im noticing my bill has the 24 month payment. For the full amount of the phone. $672 I was lied to and they wont honor their word.
