I shop here often for one reason only, its super close to my house. The paint Dept. and customer service desk are some of the worst, slow, uncaring people I have ever met. I have yet to have an encounter with anyone except Mill work that knew anything about home improvement. No one here even pretends to care about their jobs or being quick, helping, trying,...anything. The two older men at Mill work are the two good employees here. I have been informed wrong many, many times. My garage door opener and install was the biggest pain in my A$$ Ive ever encountered. Oh and its only open until 9p but the others Menards and Lowes until 10p. So why go here?, well its close,...thats it. I would not recommend Home Depot unless you live close and only If you have no questions and want to kind of be helped very slowly.

I guess the store is great, but I don’t know who’s in charge of their logistics for delivery. This wait all day, we aren’t going to call ahead of delivery stuff is ridiculous. If you order construction materials, try and pick them up, or you’ll be days without your bathroom.

Great prices! Good customer service! No delivery fee! Haul away of old only $25. Free instillation with small fee for hook up parts. Very satisfied!! We have bought our fridge, stove, washer, and dryer from home depot and definitely will be back!

While most of the time I am satisfied with the retailer, this review I want to dedicate to a very strange approach to purchase review by The Home Deport.I recently bought a plant from them and the plant was received partially dried and then finally died after a week.The retailer twice rejected my review on the purchase because “ The highlighted section(s): contains shipping complaints” on my comment that the plant“Arrived partially dried”.My point is that the company limits the honest purchase review process, as if you buy the plant you expect the plant arrive in a great condition, and for me as a customer is hard to judge if the plant had been sent in the “partially dried condition “.Also, as I pay for plant and delivery I don’t have any choice or control over the selling and delivery processes.So, my understanding is that the company dishonestly limits the information which can be shared with the future customers.

I generally find most things I need for a home project here. Not always the best prices, but competitive enough that it makes a good one-stop shopping destination for home improvement.

Actually I owe this place a huge THANKS they were all caring enough to let me in to use the self checkout . Supervised of course to purchase key fab batteries. The ones for my car had ran out of life, so we first thought, after they just closed the doors . My 2 small kids and I were stranded in the parking lot and they didnt say no to helping out a family of strangers.

Jeff was a great help in locating and recommending the best value wireless remote control devices for floor lamps!!! We were walking in circles trying to find them.

I was disappointed that they removed the cashiers from the west side. Now you have to exit all the way on the east side, making shopping there much less convenient.

The entrance and exit is annoying but we all adapt these days. I needed and paper and the first employee that I asked wasnt sure if they carried it...?!? Anyway, I found it myself. They also had a special item that I had been looking for, so I was satisfied.

Chris S. and Pedro were so helpful tonight. My fiancé purchased Traeger smoker, and Chris was very knowledgeable of all of the models in stock while helping guide us through our purchase. Once we got to the parking lot we realized it would not fit in our truck. Pedro graciously assisted us with taking the legs off and making sure it fit. They were simply amazing.

As I said before: if you visited one big-box store you visited all of them. Hopefully the refrigerator we just bought doesnt break down a year from now just off of its manufacturers warranty.

This is my go to store as of now. Helpful clientele and the online web store with their pickup service works very well. It has been hard for me (a diyer) to find knowledgeable help there but that has only been during a couple hours before close. Definitely hit this place up.I wish they didnt donate money to political parties though and definitely not to anti LGBT politicians.

This is like the best Home Depot Ive ever been to! Everybody was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. From me pick ing out the product all the way through me getting checked out.Jeff and Kathy especially helped me with my needs. Ive had a rough time moving back to Illinois and with experiences like this, makes me feel happy to be back home.

The use a national company CSRTfor installation- all I can say is good luck with that.

We had an incident where a dishwasher that was ordered and paid to be installed was delivered but not installed. After calling and talking to Esteven in appliances, we were refunded for the installation that didnt happen, but he also thoroughly explained why his team of installers were unable to install the dishwasher, and let us know we would need a plumber. I have had a lot of issues with things going array at this home depot, but I have to say Esteven went above and beyond and was SO kind while helping me. He gets 5 stars, the Home Depot itself gets 4 (could use better communication).

Only construction supply company in town that offers a military discount, so I use em alot. Prices are fair compared to lowes & Menards but typically not as busy as them.

Purchased an appliance from Home Depot today, a pleasant experience from their sales rep and customer service.

Its okay. I typically spend less time looking for help here than at Lowes so they have that going for them.

I purchased a trimmer/blower combo - was told a date it would arrive - since it was an item that was sold in the store it could not be shipped to me. I checked the status on the date I was told to be told no it would be in on June 18th. Went in on the 19th to check and as always there were about 6 girls behind the counter chatting - one helped me. She looked the order up in the computer and said it wont be in until the 24th. She offered to cancel my order for me. I said I would wait. This was to be a Fathers Day present so went to Farm and Fleet - they had one in stock - I bought that one. Called Home Depot to cancel my order - this was about 2 hours after Id been in the store -the girl that answered asked if it was the trimmer I was cancelling I said yes. She said it is here in the store. I asked when it was delivered since I had been told just 2 hours before it wasnt there. She said I have no idea. When I paid for the order on 6/1/21 since that experience was awful I filled out the survey - no reply to my dissatisfaction. When I cancelled my order I asked if I would receive an email confirmation - she said yes. I still dont have one. The manager of that store should be fired.

I saw this cashier punch something and break it she was really violent. She also checked me out and she had such a bad attitude. I was able to see her name tag and it was Christina. Will not be coming again. Bad service

Great place to shop if they have it on the shelf but if your in a bind and order it online give yourself a month to get it because it will sit on their docks for that long!!!! And dont bother calling to get it because if you track it they will just tell you what you already know.

Disappointed. In short this store as compared to the bloomington il store is like walking into a mom and pops where they could care less about customers only tasks and it is extremely disorganized. Customer service seemed to be lacking, finding a cart when coming in from the west entrance is nearly impossible, the isles are cluttered with what appears to be random projects that were abandoned and left there. Lots of employees walking around doing stuff but when you stop one to ask a question it feels rushed and you get the point and explain so they can quickly get back to what they were doing. It is my expirienced when employees act in this manner it is a management issue. Lack of training or management impressing on them so much that they must get stuff done it comes at a cost to customer service or possibly both training and management priorities. No matter what it is this store needs to learn what bloomington does and replicate it here. Guarantee sales will increase if they do.

Purchased a water heater on July 23 2020 it is now March 2021 less than a year old and its garbage. Was told its the manufacturers problem and manufacturer says its The Home Depot problem. Bottom line I will never purchase another item from the home depot again. Nor will I ever purchase another Rheem product ever again. Also purchased an extended warranty that is absolutely usless until 2022. If could leave a zero rating I would have. Costumer setvice is an absolute joke.

Tawana Ellis, the appliance manager is unprofessional and is not a good representation for management. She is rude, doesnt listen, talks over customers and even hangs up on you...but will call back and say the line was disconnected.The staff working on customer service could definitely use some training on professionalism. They have inappropriate conversations, while customers are standing and waiting to be helped. They dont even acknowledge their presence until they are ready and done talking amongst themselves.While they are young adults, its a reflection of their management.This is definitely not a store that I will be giving any more business too. Ive had two very unpleasant large orders and installations. Never again!

Has a wide selection but have your app loaded. Didnt find folks to help us so we mostly used the app to find what we were searching for.

I asked a white guy to cut woods for me, he gave me his bad attitude. I asked him if he can remove his mask so I can read his lips. Nope, he waved not going to cut. I stood up for while till a sweet young black man who was willing to cut woods for me. I didnt get the 1st guys name so I can complain to. Rude employees not helpful. I can honestly say the the most help I got was from a man in a wheelchair who was working at the registers, and the girls who mix paints are pretty good too real nice. I think they made a big mistake not hiring my son as a cart attendant by thats here nor there thats doesnt affect my decision. The people in lawn and garden were downright rude

Best home debot. Maybe because it is not busy. Keep aware from the expect staff, polite and nice. But they are more interested in sales the giving expert advice. Bought some flooring there once and the tried to tell me to put regalar oak flooring in my basement, and quarter round did not come in stock to match Bruce flooring. Another time I ask an expert about counter tops, I ask if man made quartz was more likely to burn then granite if someone out a hot pan on it. She told me no counter top is anymore heat resistant than any other, include laminate. How can you trust this sort of person.

I purchased a generator from Home Depot online and it was supposed to be delivered for several days now and I finally called and Home Depot and they cant even find where it is. I tried to cancel my order and they wont allow me to get a refund until they find the product. They wont look for the product until I call them back again on Monday to ask them to look for it. This is one of the most poor purchasing experiences I have ever had. Buyer beware when shopping online at Home Depot.

Do NOT order windows from Home Depot!!!! We ordered 4 windows on June 12th and were told 7-14 business days and have yet to receive them!! We have called over and over and just get the run around. We were told 1 came in last week they called the manufacturer and they said they sent out 4 and the delivery company said they had 4 and yet Home Depot can only find 1!!!! Nobody seems to want to help or call us back when they say they will.

Hey you know whats better then paying 379$ for a hot water heater (which isnt bad). Paying nearly 1000 to install that hot water heater, which is nearly 3x the price of the product. Honestly just go to champiagns best hardware, much more reasonable. Not to mention this store had terrible service.

I love home depot i use to work at one. I asked for help from a gentleman who didnt hear my first two attempts to get his help because he was chatting up 2 pretty workers. He did end up coming over though seemed bothered didnt know anything about what i was asking for called another department said no one was there to help. Directed me to an aisle i might find what i was looking for and didnt bother to walk with me make sure i got it or help in any way. Just went back to chatting. The aisle he directed me to was not the correct one either. Love home depot, i get chatting but good customer service should be the priority.

Their curbside service is absolutely the worst. They left my package out by my car after I had waited in the lane and no one came. Mind you I also called ahead. So then I called and they told me they were extremely backed up and told me to come inside to pick it up. I wait in line once I finally get to the front of the line they tell me that my package is out by my vehicle, they just left it there. Anyone couldpf stolenmy item. Im 9 months pregnant and had to lift this huge item into my vehicle by myself while a worker watched.

Had an issue with my sump pump failing and my backup throwing water into my neighbors lawn. Roy helped me devise a quick plan to properly divert the water down a grade and prevent damages. 10/10 will always work with him.
