This store gets one star because you cant review a place with zero. Horrible, horrible customer service. We have been in there over a dozen times in the past 2 months and have yet to see any employee treat a customer in a kind, friendly manner. They are flippant, impolite and dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. This location is really busy sometimes and even when there are multiple employees helping a number of customers they dont ever seem to be in a hurry or say anything to reassure anyone that they are working as quickly as they can. I will never visit the store again and am warning all of my friends & neighbors to choose a different location. Just awful.
Please please please do not go to this place because when I submitted my order online with milles and everything even talked on the phone with customer service my bill was supposed to be $260 and when I came to pick up the truck they said its $465 then they told me its $360 U-Haul company should definitely look in to this place the truck wasnt ready the trailer isnt hooked up the guy is taking his sweet as time to do it! It took him 45 minutes or almost an hour to get everything ready but my clock is ticking....Worst U-Haul ever!!!!
Horrible customer service. The lady working today 5/14/2020 at 9am is EXTREMELY RUDE. Did not even want to deal with us. Gave us the worst truck that sounds like its dying when you apply the breaks, and thats with nothing inside.... Truck was basically on empty and only credited $30 during the gas issue going on right now...... $30 in a u-haul!!!!! Someone needs to give this woman a class on customer service! Like NOW
I placed my order for a 20 truck April 5 to be picked up the Chamblee location April 10. This location is a mile from my home. I completed the online check in Tuesday evening. Friday morning U Haul calls and says my pickup location will be the Northern Ave, Clarkston location. This is 7 miles from my home. That makes a difference in Atlanta traffic. I already coordinated moving help and I was driving down from North Carolina to make the move. U Haul would not offer office customer service to honor the agreement we made. They told me I had no choice but to pick it up where they now want me to pick it up. Plus each phone call involved waiting on hold for more than 15 - 20 mins. You cant reach the local store by phone either. All calls routed to a call center. I was late getting to my home because of U Hauls incompetence. They made the move super stressful and seemed to care less. When I spoke with the call center I was told I was purchasing moving blankets. There was no notation on the email that I was renting blankets. When I turned the truck in I was told to turn in the blankets which were now protecting furniture in storage. They also said I had blankets and pads but all items looked like blankets. No pads. Just completely dishonest and horrible services. I am reviewing the location I made an agreement to lease from but, yes my actual reservation was from a call center. Just dont get tricked by U Haul. They are full of scams that will make your move miserable.
I came in this morning inquiring about renting a unit for a future move and I received astounding customer service from a young lady named Tasheba. I wasn’t having the best of luck when it came to finding a unit before I came here but she greeted me with kindness, knowledge and even personal help! She was purely amazing! I will definitely be storing my items here soon.

Horrible customer service and attitude from the three guys sitting around doing nothing. Walked in this AM because I reserved on Tuesday and was told they don’t have the truck I RESERVED. Thats all I was told. No apology, no offer of other truck or recommendations, AND no heads up or phone call before arriving....only for them to let me know it was no longer available. Our interaction was very minimal, as I felt like I was bothering them (while they were sitting around) and the only other thing “given” to me was a sticky note with an address to another location that has it. Literally had to shake our heads in disbelief at how nonchalant and horrible they were. First and last time I’ll ever reserve here.
Tried to charge an extra day. In addition, the truck wasnt ready for mobile pick up when we arrived and had to wait for the office to open. Not happy
I didnt even want to give U-Haul one star, but felt the guys working at this specific place deserved it.I reserved a 9ft cargo van in accordance with U-Hauls advertisements of $590.00 for 2 weeks, up to 1500 miles/$.29 for each mile there after, and no penalty for early return.Upon arriving to pick up the truck, I was told that I had to keep it the full 2 weeks or they would charge the daily rate (which would have exceeded the 590.00 as advertised), use all the 1500 miles, or again be charged a daily rate and $.29 per mile that I actually used, and that there is a penalty for early return. So, basically,... U-Hauls website is faulty advertising the great values of 590.00 for a 2 work rental, etc...It was so disappointing to come to realize that U-Haul was promoting such a scam tactic.I drove from Roswell for this van, and left without it due to their dishonesty!And, when I asked why I would be penalized for early return or not using the entire 1500 miles, I was told it was because others needed the truck as well! That was the slap, because I was basically told then that my need of the van wasnt as important as anyone elses. Granted, I was renting it at a discounted rate based on their promotion, but did not deserve to be penalized because they would lose the higher profits of the single day rentals.U-Haul, dont advertise something you cant fulfilla.
I have never been spoken to or given attitude in as rude of a manner as Navaria treated me. From the moment i walked in, it was clear she wanted me out the store. I was quoted an hours wait for some work to my car by customer service, to which she got an attitude and told me it was actually going to be 3 hours waiting time. She quickly shooed me out the store told me to leave my keys on the counter and Walk to the coffee shop to wait. I called about 3 hours later for a status update and all she said was Call back at 1. Its not ready. and she hung up on me. I had a reservation to pick up a trailer from this location but have since changed it so i no longer have to deal with her.

The manager was very rude to me as soon as I walked into the front door. I intended to do some shopping for supplies but she was so direct and unfriendly to me that I quickly purchased a roll of shrink wrap and left. Absolutely terrible customer service. Ive been shopping at this location for 17 years but they will never see me again because I refuse to be treated in that way. Do yourself a favor and go to Budget to rent a truck or get supplies. Youve been warned.

Horrible customer service! I felt like I was bothering the agent when inquiring about refunding my deposit. Although I was able to return my truck, he was unable to find my reservation and was too busy to look up my information. However, I was the only person there.To make matters even worse, I called customer service and sat on hold (after being disconnected on twice) for over 30 minutes.This is my second time having issues with UHaul. Very disappointed!
Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever had such a poor customer service experience. I made an appointment online to have a hitch installed. I dropped my car off the morning of the appointment and they told me that the manger is the one who does the installs and the manager was in a meeting so it might take longer than expected. Fine, no problem. So about 3 hours later I call to find out how much longer it will be. A woman answers who tells me my appointment is for the next day. No ma’am my appointment is for today; I already dropped off the car. She tells me no one will be able to work on it today. When I ask why no one mentioned this when I dropped the car off she basically said it wasn’t her problem. When I respond she puts me on hold while I am still talking to her. I hang up and get a ride to get my car. When I walk in this woman seems genuinely more interested in picking a fight with me than offering any sort of “I’m sorry-let me figure out how to help.” I ask for my money back; she says she can’t do that without a manager, who is not there! Thankfully another person takes over and gives me my money back. Never again will I be going back there!!

Our first time renting a uhaul was a great experience. They didnt have the truck we reserved so they upgraded us with a different one at no extra charge. Very easy process. Thanks guys!

I went to rent a van and walked in and no one is wearing a mask. I asked did uhaul not send you all masks. She said we have them. And I said, So yall just not going to wear them, huh? On top of that, the customer service was very blah. Ill be reporting to uhaul. -- Wearing the mask decreases the chances of spreading it. I do not know, uhaul worker, if you have it or not. Wear the mask!

The staff is pleasant and helpful. The location is not busy and convenient to the interstate. Will definitely go back for any future moving needs. I got my hitch lighting fixed by Sun. He did a great job because my SUV was a special case.
I am writing this as i am walking out and waiting for my rental. Both the general manager and the she-male that was at the desk were so damn rude for no reason. Don’t like your job, quit! Simple as that. There is no need to be rude to people especially ones that don’t speak the language/ have accent.
Leave use this location twice now and really had no problems seem to be decent pricing. The folks are always friendly and very helpful. We will probably be using them again within the next six months.
Store 2951: I visited this store with my mom to buy moving supplies. First off there was 4 men behind the desk as we were looking for the materials we needed and they never spoke or asked if we need help. My mom went to the desk to ask for some help to find some items we couldn’t locate. Darnell was very rude and for him to be the general manger of this location, his customer services was horrible! Very dismissive, nasty, short response, and kept saying whatever when I explained to him he was being rude. Maurice was assisting us, but Darnell kept inserting himself and was rude with his response. My mom stated to them that she placed this stuff in her cart online and put their store number in for pickup and explained to them this the the items she had in her cart didn’t say online only which was why she came in to buy and pick it. After sitting in the car for 20 mins writing this review Darnell wants to come to my car and ask me to roll my window down and he said he wanted to apologize I told him that it was too late he should said this when I was in the store 20 mins ago and his exact words was well whatever and walked off.
Scheduled a truck rental online through the U-Haul site, picked it up clean and ready to go in about five minutes; return was easy and quick (they finalized the charges doorside!), I was gone again in about five minutes. Aside from how challenging it can be trying to merge four lanes in a hundred yards across the access road, this was far and away the most professional (and quick!) U-Haul truck rental service Ive used.
Clean and safe facilities. I love the take/give away section! Customer service was just ok. Upon entering employees appeared to be annoyed and answered all of my questions short and with an attitude. Other than that everything was well manicured.
AMAZING! Ricardo helped us instal a new fuse for our hitch and sent us on our way in 5 minutes. Really incredible and kind service!!
Nice facility. The first U-Haul Location we attempted to turn our truck into declined us but this facility rectified the mistake of the last one. Made the turn in process very easy.
Bait and Switch ! $39.95 on the side of the van, I used it round trip of 70 miles, returned it that afternoon to same location, topped of tank with$ 32.00 of gas and it was clean as when I got it. Total Price minus gas. $141.45. You Guys GOT ME! I should have hired TWO MEN and a Truck. It wont happen again I promise, Future customers make sure you get something in writing.
The Manager is very rude and disrespectful. The truck had a leak in which my furniture was damaged by water and UHaul basically said its on me. I will never use them again.. Penske, Budget, and other competitors have my business for now and moving forward. This location is horrible and need to be shut down. I have to pay $200 to get my furniture cleaned from UHaul negligence. NEVER AGAIN

Quick and great customer service. The only thing which bothered me was the truck which was shaking when i touch 50 MPH.Other than that everything else was smooth.
My uhaul trailer came off the hitch right in front of this location and I received no help at all. The man told me they were closing and they couldnt help and to call roadside assistance (45 min wait just to reach them) another 2 hours for a man to come pick the trailer up and set it back on the hitch so I could pull it 20 feet. They turned the lights out, locked the doors and went home for the day. Left me sitting in the middle of the road with a vagabond standing at my truck window. I was scared. The man stayed the entire 2 hours walking back and fourth around my truck.
Ive used them twice and both times were painless and quick. No complaints.

My first time being at this location and the staff has poor customer service! Thats because the general manager name Ms. Grayson-Evans is just as sorry! I rented a truck on 3/30 and the next day I called the store to get my final charges. After hearing the chargers added up correctly I was good. 3wks later, I had to rent another truck (from a great location in Clarkston GA on Sams st) I couldnt get it, because Uhaul said I owe them a balance... I told them my card was charged and that amount was paid.Come to find out after talking with my bank, the store charge my account and put the money back in. Heres my biggest issue with this GM: being a manager consist of a leadership role. You must know how and what it takes to have integrity, accountability, and responsibility. When talking to Ms. Evans today on the phone, and youre dealing with a disgruntle (not foul language) customer--pist off like myself when it comes to their money, doesnt mean as manager you become rude and nonchalant! She also said, I told her that I [disputed] the charges and thats why she put it back in the account.. she further mention this all happen on the same day...When I had some to say about that, she said hold on & literally 10 minutes someone else picked up the phone line! It was good I wasnt in that store.Well if someone dispute a charge why in the hell will you take the money out the account AND put it back the same day??? (Customer service was baffled) Obviously was there a resolution?? Did you or your staff make a mistake??Yes!!! I found out her name is Raquel who took the charge out and 8 minutes later put the money back in the account. A few days later the store was like Oops we made a mistake, because on 4/2 they tried to charge my account which was denied.Instead of playing the blame game--incld lying, and trying to pass the buck.. just tell the customer in the process of fixing the issue! Come to find out U-Haul has an automatic collection according to (customer service) and their contract; which made several attemps on 4/12 - 4/30 to take whatever amount of money they can, out of my account--to collect their payment. Its now with a collection agency! Oh U-Haul and their store in Chamblee GA on I85 access Rd in Atlanta, think they are about to make me pay for this mistake---I dont think so!!!U-Haul corporate well customer service is just as worse. Hold time more than 30 minutes! While waiting on hold, voice agent: have you submitted a review etc. YES! Now please fix this issue. I look forward seeing my balance written off due to distress from this whole ordeal (almost 2 months)! When the customer service agent finally answer the line.. Shout out to that person who gave me this whole entire honest information (and took off fees Uhaul racked up). Therefore, again please fix and write off the remaining charges, or less settlement amount for these reasons. Thanks!
No associate verified the mileage and gas level of a truck presented to me. I returned the truck in the EXACT same condition it was given to me & was forced to pay additional gas coverage. I explained that the gas level I received the truck in was at half tank, the lady was very rude and abrupt with me. I`ll never recommend this facility, EVER!Terry Johnson

Awful customer service, Its been almost a month that I rented a trailer for two days, and they charged me for 4 days instead. I tried to called them several times with no success so i had to drive there, the manager told me it should be fixed in a couple days and never was fixed until this day. Im tired of me going there and calling over and over again to fix this issue.
I cant overstate how helpful the employees at this U-Haul were to me. Friendly, professional, and generous with their time. Im very glad my order from the Brookhaven location was switched to the NE Expressway location at 85 and Shallowford. Moving is stressful, but these guys really helped me do it cheap, safe, and quick. They were absolutely terrible. I scheduled UBox delivery for Nov 5th. Three weeks later before delivery, I call to confirm. One guy tells me they can deliver at noon, no problem, but then we got disconnected. I called back, and a lady (I think the manager) told me sorry truck driver doesnt deliver on Sundays, youll get it Monday. No regard for my time, the fact that Im paying $2300 to move my stuff, or the fact that this has been scheduled for 3 weeks. I called uhaul corporate, and they told me it could be delivered Sunday on a trailer (not a truck), no problem. I called the night before and the morning of to confirm. They never showed up, and myself nor Uhaul corporate could figure out how to get in touch with the store.The next morning, I drove over to the location to talk to the manager in person about the situation. She played stupid, apologized, and told me Id have my stuff by 10 am. It didnt show up until 11:30. I had movers scheduled for Sunday. They came back at 8 am Monday and sat around until 11:30. They couldve booked other jobs. The driver told me hed come back later that day to pick up the Uboxes. I called at 3 and kept calling until 5. They didnt come back, and they said it would be picked up in the morning. At one oclock on Tuesday, I checked, and the Uboxes were gone. No idea who took them since no one called for permission to get in the gate. The manager of this store has no regard for other people, their time, or just simply doing the job shes paid for, and she needs to be fired.

I hoped this UHaul location would be good because it looks nice and big, I was wrong. TAKE PICTURES OF THE GAS LEVEL, I returned the truck with more gas than it had when I got it, when I returned, they tried to charge me $30 and argued when I showed them pictures and my reciept, finally after 10 minutes, they looked again, and said, whoops I was looking at the wrong thing???? I will go to Penske next time, like I should have this time.
Had a VERY rude experience with the manager not having the truck we reserved at this Northeast Expwy location. They even called to say they were running late with the truck, then that they had it ready. 30 mins later they claimed they had no truck. I would NOT rent here ever again.Go to the uhaul place on the other side of 85 (85 southbound) near clairmont instead (they were much more friendly and helpful).

This place has gotten their act together in the last year. Some of the nicest people I have ever talked to over the phone, and great customer service.
Worst experience of my life. These people are either downright crooks or just pathetically incompetent- I cant tell which. They were supposed to ship my Upod box but simply held onto it for over a month. First they blamed staff at another facility, then they blamed paperwork. I think I called over 40 times and was constantly bounced from person to person to person, all of whom gave me a different story, spent about 10 minutes trying to research my case before deciding it was too complicated and they needed to let the store handle it. The phones at this facility are constantly forwarded so you get bounced to a call center where someone sitting on their couch in their pajamas offers to send them a message. THEY NEVER EVER CALL BACK. So the only way to get into contact with them is to physically go into the store or to call time after time in hopes that someone picks up the phone. Because of their mixup, I had over 30 days of storage- they promised me that month would be free. Next thing I know, they charged me a late fee for storage and send me like 4 letters (and send MY PARENTS a letter) saying I havent paid my storage fees. Finally, I gave up, paid a ton of money to movers to get my stuff out of storage and put it into a friends basement, and shipped through another company. The icing on the cake? They offered me a refund for $816. This constitutes the shipping costs (because my Upod never shipped) and the extra month of storage (because I incurred an extra month solely due to Uhauls mixup). They acted like this was some huuuuge favor to refund me costs for services that were never delivered. What did they actually do? The day they agreed to the refund, they charged me AGAIN for $816, then refunded me the $816. So they charged me TWICE for $816. THANKS GUYS- I REALLY WANTED TO CALL YOU ANOTHER TWENTY TIMES TO FIGURE THIS OUT.
The worst rental experience I have ever had.They estimated $50 including mileage,rental, and insurance. I used the truck for only 5 extra miles than the est; they charged me another $50 for that. I feel soooooooo bad, not for losing that money, but for the fact that this people toke my money with no explanation.I trying calling and emailing the customer service thing, but nothing was fixed.I dont know about the other Uhaul locations, but after this experience; never ever again with this company!

The manager Brandon is a thief and the upper management turns a blind eye. He broke into my storage room and stole instruments, computer hard drives, expensive tools..anything you can imagine. I filed a police report with Dekalb county and I was told they would investigate...nothing has been done. I pray each of the employees past or present reap what theyve sown! Ive never stolen from anyone!

Working with this location has been the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had. They over charged me twice, and every time I called to try and get my money refunded the manager was not available and I was asked to leave a message, my call was never returned.
