Im starting my Christmas shopping early and in order to hide the gifts from my daughters i decided to rent a storage for the first time. I had no clue on what to do. Angela Delong working at the time was wonderful in helping me decide the size and explaining about the unit and what I needed to know and made the process super easy . Mary was extremely friendly right off the bat, she reached out quickly after I submitted an online hold and then she catered to my situation where I was at the location that was closed. The location is easily accessible and safe.

We have rented 3 units at this location since April 2020. During that time, they have upgraded to a cool lock system that allows me to enter the property with an App on my iPhone. They also have a new property manager, Mary, who has been wonderful. She is responsive, easy to work with and keeps the property very clean. I highly recommend this location.

Went to this location at 2pm and 4pm and nobody was there to assist in the office. Wasted my time.

Beware of large, unannounced increases in rent! These guys will start you off with competitive rates and then jack them up every few months. In the past year they raised my rent 48%, including 21% increase in last month! When I complained that I received no notice of increase, all they told me is that I should have gotten one. But they could not produce a copy of it. I will be vacating three units as soon as I can get movers lined up and going someplace where the don’t gouge their clients. If you only need storage for a couple of months, these guys are fine. But if you need a long term solution look somewhere else.

Mary is a new property manager and is very helpful where most weren’t at that particular public storage.My light in my storage has been out for a month now. I let Mary know earlier this week after countless attempts with other associates to resolve my dark storage.After 5 days Mary contacted me back to follow up to assure me that she is working on scheduling contractors for my light. I appreciate the follow up and great customer service. My light is still not fixed but at least I have someone who cares want to follow up and sincerely want to resolve my dark issue.Thanks Mary I’ll wait on your follow up!

Mary, the store manager at Savoy, Chamblee Georgia Public Storage, was so helpful to secure my storage space, walk me through the application, help download the app and advise on gate codes, made it easy to upgrade to a larger storage space, showed me around the facility and most delightful, had a fabulous mindset. Her happy and smiling face revived “customer service !” What a pleasure to meet Mary. She validated my choice with Public Storage !Thank you Mary !

Mary is incredibly helpful and a pleasure to do business with! A few weeks ago I realized that I left my unit unlocked one Friday morning and was freaking out because I couldnt get back to the area until Sunday. I left a message with the front office and Mary called me back immediately to tell me that shed already taken care of it and put a temporary lock on the unit until I came back to have it removed. I was completely relieved and felt secure knowing that Mary and the rest of the staff were looking after me and the tenants at this location.

I went to get moving supplies and Mary was extremely helpful!!! She showed me moving bundles and helped me find the set that would be perfect for my move. Quick, helpful, friendly service!! Highly recommend!

Service is extremely friendly here! Gwen was a temporary property manager and helped check us in and did a great job when I was getting moved in. Ive also met the main property Tear and shes also really friendly and helpful.***The only reason this review isnt 5 stars is because of the hidden fees which arent disclosed when renting the unit online. Im not sure if this is standard practice but I was a little surprised when I first walked in.READ BEFORE RENTING!!!1. The $1 online move in specials only apply for the month you are starting and do not get prorated. Example: if you rent on January 31st, your rent for the month of January would be $1 and then the full rate starting February. IF USING THE PROMOTION, MAKE SURE YOU START EARLY IN THE MONTH!2. You are required to have insurance on your unit which is not included in the cost of rent. Public Storage sells it for ~$15/month but you may be covered through your homeowners or renters insurance in which case you can decline it. Check your insurance policy.3. The units use a unique lock which you must buy prior to moving in. They sell it for about $20. You may be able to buy them online but I havent had any luck finding them.

I wanted to do my review as promised and since I am here today waiting for my movers I thought why not. Just wanted you all to know what a wonderful employee you all have here. Not only Ms. Tear take me with only 5mins left before closing, but she kept a smile and even showed me to my unit. I can’t thank her enough. Sunday January 12th 2020, I visited Public Storage on Savoy Drive to rent a space. Upon arriving I notice the parking lot was clean and well kept no trash or anything in front or near the building. Entering into the building I was greeted very professionally by a young lady named Charissa. She gave me the best customer service Ive ever had and she made sure information was clear and understandable,which that made the renting process very easy and not hectic at all. Im very pleased on how she was very professional and attentive to me I would highly recommend Public Storage.

Manager of the facility was great. Move-in was very accommodating. Unit is clean. 5 months after moving in, had a notice mailed that my rent was going up 32% from $52 to $69! 32%!!! Called the district manager who said it was the way they wheel and deal. I can understand a 5-7% increase...not 32%. Just know thats what theyll do. Im going to move to another facility that is closer to my home since the rate doesnt justify the location anymore.

Went in and met Tear. She was very very helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to help me out right away making this a very easy transition.

It was a pleasure being helped by Ms. Tear, she made me pay my past due balance from another PS lol but overall it was a great experience with her she smiles with every question and sentence. Will recommend family and friends

Our Chapter chose Public Storage to store meeting supplies and archived materials that was centrally located in the metro and easily accessible for our members. Our experience with the staff has been excellent. They return calls quickly and help in any way. The facility is clean, well lit, and very safe. I would highly recommend using Public Storage on Savoy Dr. in Chamblee.

I came in from out of town to help my mother move her things into a storage building. Due to unfortunate circumstances, she had to move from her home. From the first call, to the actual drive over, Jessica was so friendly and helpful. She was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and that my mothers belongings will be safe and taken care of. This was the first time that either of us had to use a storage facility, and we both were nervous, however she made the whole process easy. Thank you so much for everything, Ms Jessica! Update: I have changed my review to 3 stars since the district manager called and offered to refund me for the full month due to my inconvenience which is appreciated. Although it took over week, they did resolve my issue. I’m sure in the future now, they will notify surrounding units if they notice and issue like this again.They are great while things are good, but if there are problems they are very unhelpful and provide horrible customer service even when they are at fault. I will never be using them again sad to say. A tree fell into the unit next to ours and rain/flood damage occurred and they negligently failed to notify surrounding units given that water spreads through floors and walls (even if it doesn’t look that way at a glance). Our things on the right side of our unit that share a wall with the one that had the leak, are damaged and covered in mold.

Friendly staff great prices and close to my new home. I would definitely recommend this storage company to anyone that needs to rent a space.
