While I am most certainly shooting the messenger on this, I cannot see a better way to get the attention of Rupp Inc. I own a 2 room yoga studio, one room of which uses a Rupp system to heat the room for hot yoga. The Rupp system is less than a year old (still under warranty) and easily the single most expensive line item on my build out of the studio last year. Last week on Monday the 11th it stopped working. On the 12th it was diagnosed that a fan wheel had completely disintegrated in the unit. No worries, things happen. That was a week ago. The part still has not come in (Im told because its a part that isnt prone to failure its not available in the system) and as a result my customers are not happy and my business is adversely affected. I am quite literally running at half capacity and losing thousands of dollars in revenue at what is easily the most critical time of the year for a fitness based studio (Jan-Apr). While the warranty will eventually fix this problem, it will surely not address the lack of a speedy response and the subsequent loss in revenue to my business. CaptiveAire just happens to be the local Rupp rep and while Kyles communication with me and our installer has been great, communication alone has not gotten my unit fixed in a week. *** UPDATE, the part arrived today (a holiday) and was installed in less than an hour. My review has been adjusted accordingly for captiveaire (Kyle specifically).
