This has become a gathering place for me and one of my girl friends to catch up. Food is always spot on, service is always wonderful, and its easy to get to. I have consistently had a wonderful time each time Ive been here.

I enjoy coming to this store because of all the variety they carry. I don’t really drink wine much and I just like to try whatever sounds good to me. I was just looking around when an employee comes up and offers help. I told him I was just looking and he still pushed questions and offered recommendations. I said okay, thanks. Next thing I know, another employee that looks like the manager came up, offering help and said, “looks like you were in la la land there.” I was reading the little write ups about the wine because that’s how I decide what to buy! It was incredibly rude and insulting. I should have said something then but I just wanted to be left alone. I assume they thought I was underage, but I wish they would have just asked for my ID while I was looking and left me alone.

Very friendly and helpful. Seems to have broad selection of both wines and craft beers. Nice international beer selection as well.

They were very short staffed but very helpful! They man at the register called over a Manger to take over his station so that he could get a case of wine down for me. They were all working hard with a smile on there face and so polite.

Ignored the first time I felt like I was followed around-bc they were nice after I grabbed some nice stuff. But this time was borderline annoying so I acted suspicious intentionally...placed my case at the counter and hit my local wine store instead. Do better. 2 Stars because the cashier was nice.

Honestly, my partner and I don’t know too much about wines but wanted to find a few different types for our upcoming wedding. Lucky for us we were greeted by a phenomenal employee named Summer. She showed us around and was an absolute pleasure to speak with. The customer service alone is enough to keep coming back, but the deals on wine and beer are also a bonus!Thanks Summer!!

We brought our tap handles back ON TIME and the manager told us we couldn’t get our money back because we didn’t have the receipt even though WE NEVER RECEIVED ONE. Truly garbage quality customer service. They also took the tap handles from us even though they refused to give our money back.

Oh gosh, these guys at total wine in Cary was absolutely wonderful. Helped me find exactly what I was looking for plus even helped me carry the box of wine to my car. They are great here.

I would not have given this store a star at all but only because upon entering a white male associate asked to help us…but I told him we were just looking; basically browsing. I was there to shop for a birthday gift…He kept following us & when I went to use the restroom I was followed there also. While browsing I was waiting on a phone call to follow up on what all I was purchasing but I lost interest in continuing my quest because I started feeling very uncomfortable. I felt singled out because I am African American I didn’t even get to purchase what I had went there for.

The entire team at this location is very professional and goes above and beyond to serve you as the customer. Shout-out to Brian, one of the managers! Highly recommended.

One of my favorite stops to grab some drinks! Absolutely love that you can get individual beers, ciders, and seltzers.

Great selection of wine. Got the app so picking out what I want before going to the store has been great. They do have curbside, but I like to see the bottles and who knows may see something that is on sale. The staff is great and helpful. Manager worked to get a wine help at the other store as they were out of stock. They do have beer also.

Very well kept place, great stock. However, if your ID is expired, even by a week, they won’t accept it. Both other Total Wines in Raleigh said it doesn’t matter currently since the DMV appointments can take upwards of a month right now.Not ragging on them necessarily, just want to save people some time.

Always leave this place with way more alcohol than going for. You can spend so much money so quickly. It has sooo many options for any kind of alcohol you are looking for.

Went to buy a few beers and found a really good selection. The organization could be better though, it was hard to find what I was looking for. Signage was not clear and I had to ask an employee to explain the organization.

Amazing selection of all things beer and wine. This is my second visit in the last week and both times everyone there went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for (and some great new items as well.) Some of the most friendly and knowledgeable people Ive ever interacted with! Carrie is AWESOME and was essentially my Sacajawea of the almost overwhelming choices. (Victor and Nicole were great too.) Overall slightly on the pricer side but you cant beat the variety or service!

Managers and most workers do not know how to wear a mask (face shields are not masks and please wear it over your nose)The people who stock the shelf are rude and walked in front of me multiple times when I was trying to view some beer. They also blocked the lane I was trying to access while I was walking towards the area. No one ever stopped to ask if I needed help finding anything.I give two stars - one for the better than average selection and prices, and the other for the friendly cashier who wore their mask correctly (Taylor).

Most economical place to go in the Triangle when you need that really special bottle of wine! My wife and I really enjoyed our bottle of Dom for Our New Year’s celebration!

Good place to get all kinds of wine & beer whether its local or imported. I have found new wine and beer that Ive never seen anywhere else, in which I enjoy new, quality, and uncommon beer and wine.

Bought a case of wine, we had tried on a whim before. Do yourself a favor and join their reward program, they will send out a coupon for 20%off a case of wine. I could tell you about the wine, but just consider we went back and picked up a case. I hate the location of this place in the center of crossroads but it is a high traffic area with impossible traffic flow.

Great selection and just want to thank Michael for his excellent knowledge on the Goose Island Stout. Ill definitely be back Black Friday for that (& before!) Highly Recommended!

They have a pretty good selection of wine but I am taking off stars for this one particular reason: Every time I go, it feels like I am being constantly hounded by 100 employees and their mothers asking me if I need help finding anything.I counted the last time I was there, and I was approached by employees 17 times, including 6 by the same employee. Sometimes multiple times within a span of a single minute. My answer was always the same (no) but I kept being interrupted. I dont want to buy promoted wine, I just wanted to peruse the collections and take a few bottles home. Why do you even have that many people working at the same time?I dont mind being asked if I need help, but after a couple tries, someone needs to get the hint, and perhaps inform the other 500 employees walking the aisles that I dont need help. Its made me want to find other alternatives for shopping for wine.

My shopping trip went well until I got up to the register. The cashier Victor was nice to the person that was being rung up before me. But when it was my turn I mines well had been the worst person in the world. He really didn’t want to speak to me nor did he want to touch the two bottles that I was purchasing. Then I told him thank you as I was leaving and he said not one word! I understand that there is a lot going on. But the one thing that you can do to people is be nice! Simple as that!

Excellent curbside service

Typical wine store with a great selection of wines and beers. I gave this location five stars because of Carrie. My wife and I were trying to find a good white wine and she came over and provided top quality assistance. My wife and I come to this store quite often but never received great customer service like Carrie provided. She was friendly and just a nice person. If you stop by and need assistance, see Carrie.

Shopping at any total wine is fun if you know where to find what you look for. I like that employees are always willing to help.

They always give me great suggestions and theres a wonderful selection from which to choose.

This place has a seriously helpful and friendly staff. If one person cant find what you want, they will find someone who can. And man do they know their stuff!! I am always super amazed by the variety of inventory they offer and how they can order about anything they might not have that you need. I promise... this place, or any of their locations are worth whatever drive it takes.

I got my first bottle of wine here when I turned 21. It is a cozy place, lets you walk around and choose over hundreds of kinds. The people there are helpful and I had one of their workers walk me through the store to help me track down exactly what I was looking for, as I was lost. They also have lots of cute accessories for 21 year old birthday parties, as well as more mature glasses and such for your wine related needs.

Hands-down THE best place if youre looking for a variety of craft beer.

Today was my LAST time ever shopping at this Total Wines location. I literally walked out after I witnessed an white, male employee walk right pass me to offer help to a white, female customer as I was walking up to ask him for help. I was right in front of her. He CLEARLY saw me especially since I had been walking around for a long time in the store trying to find what I was looking for. He just completely ignored me. This is NOT the first time I’ve experienced trash service at this location, but now that I see how they operate, I won’t give them another dime of my money! It’s very clear to me that these employees only help ‘certain’ customers and overlook others. Never had this problem at the North Hills location.

Great and friendly service. One of the employees here even let us walk into the back room fridge to select from additional options for immediately cold beer, after he presumably overheard us talking about looking for something cold but not seeing too many options.They also have a full blown cigar humidor here, which makes this a one stop shop for those who are into cigars.We will be back again!

First time shopping in store at this location. I ordered 2 bottles of Harveys cream sherry (absoultly wonderful sherry!!) online and I received pickup notification right at 2 hours after placing my order! Went into the store, went to a gentleman at a computer towards the back of the store and told him I was there to pickup my order. After waiting a bit for him to help, another gentleman walked up and asked to assist me. Very nice man I didnt get his name but very professional and pleasant to speak with. All of 8min from walking inside to getting my order in hand, I was back at my car. Not to bad. I didnt check out any other wines/beers in store mainly because I had ordered my interest online. I do think this is a good store to shop your wines/beers of choice, it look like they do have many to choose from. At least give them a try, my first experience really wasnt bad. Thank you Total Wines.

Total Wine needs to do a better job training its wine staff. I was approached by a team member while I was browsing who asked if I needed help. I asked him if they had any Torrontés. He didn’t know what it was, so I told him it was an white grape grown in Argentina. He said they didn’t have any, but that they have some good Chardonnays or Pinot Grigios. With further browsing, I ended up finding four options of Torrontés in the “Other Whites” section.Obviously not every staff person is going to be passionate about learning wine, but if you’re going to put people on the floor to sell wine, at least make sure they know what you are offering and how to help people find what they are looking for.It’s also important for people in wine sales to identify what types of customers they are dealing with. There are always going to be customers who know nothing about wine and need a lot of guidance, but you are also going to get sommeliers and other wine experts who come in and know exactly what they are looking for. Oftentimes the customer will know a lot more about wine than you, and that’s ok. But you need to at least know how to point those people in the right direction.
