First time here, pretty quiet and the Bartender (I forget her name ) was very attentive and helpful when I had questions. I tried the Chicago style dog and my boo had the Canucks style dog! The homemade chips were very tasty!

The vegan poutine wasnt as promised. It was supposed to have fried tofu and vegan cheese but was just some fries and gravy. The gravy itself was so-so, very salty and didnt taste homemade. On the other hand, I think this is more of a bar than a restaurant, so Im giving three stars. The beer selection is good. The ambience is divey but clean at least.

I was so excited to try the poutine here after seeing the vegetarian options. They were not as good as the website made them seem.Overall, a dingy and greasy little bar without much to offer.The better choice is Woodys around the corner. Hands down.

My fiancee has been craving authentic poutine for years now and she was very happy with their options. I got a smoked brisket sandwich, and it was flavorful with a nice kick. The meat was perfectly cut with no fatty pieces and cooked wonderfully crisp. We were happy with the selections of cider available and the other items on the menu including bacon wrapped hotdogs looked interesting. It was pretty busy and there was only one guy tending bar and also serving so it took a while for the food to come out. But, it was well worth the wait. Outside is dog friendly with places to hang the leash, dog beds and water bowls. You can even order specialty dog treats off the menu. I feel as if Ive stumbled across a small neighborhood favorite, but it was well worth a half hour drive to check out. We will certainly be going back and you should check them out too.FYI. Its around the back side of the building when you pull in off the main street.

We ordered takeout and got the spicy tofu wrap and spicy tofu sandwich. Both were cooked well and very tasty. The vegan ranch is really good. I appreciated the vegan options. The service was great and attentive. One suggestion is more eco-friendly takeout containers. We will order again!

Great menu with lots of variety and fantastic vegan/vegetarian options! Also staff is very good at suggesting beers based on customer tastes. Very friendly and owner comes by each table to greet guests! Very lovely evening and delicious meal for all in my party!

This place is a must go! They have an outdoor patio in the shade, great beer, ice water for my doggo, and amazing food. We got the momos, putain and a doggy meal of boiled chicken. Our server Marissa was one of the best servers weve ever experienced, she immediately brought out ice water for our dog and practically picked out all of our food. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been to this little bar and restaurant two times as well. Great poutine, great spicy wings, and even better beers. Exquisite rotating draft selection and an endless list of other canned and bottled options. Has the feeling of a locals spot and the service is amazing, keep it up. I’ll be back soon, can’t say enough good things about this place.

OMG! On the 2nd trip there... after a year, the owner recognized our party of 4 AND remembered exactly where we sat our first time. We got various vegan options... all great! And... what a beer selection!

My wife says this a hidden treasure.This obscure restaurant is on a side street in a part of Cary I didnt know existed. And Ive lived here for 23 years.I never ate poutine in my whole life but its amazing.This is the only restaurant I know of that has Canadian specialties.Come here with all your friends and bring your dogs.

Solid selection of craft beer on draft and in cans/bottles. Bartender was friendly. The spicy chicken tender poutine was solid; great spice on the tenders, though they were a little overcooked. The fries were fried nicely, and there was a solid amount of both gravy and cheese.

Favorite local spot, for craft beer and wonderful bar food, I could just honestly just go there for French fries cause they are real !!! One of My fav things is the momos Nepali dumplings and yes get some fresh jalapeño with it :))

Love the vegan options here! The tofu was so flavorful. Cook and waitstaff were really friendly. Lots of great beer options and had some fun playing darts and pool. Keep it up with the great vegan options, can’t wait to come back!

This place is a gem! The food is delicious the beer is cold. Lots of good tasty vegan options. The woman who runs the place is just a delight. I love everything we come in. I recommend the spicy tofu bites so highly.

The food was good but the service was awful. Our server didnt know how to take separate orders for separate checks. Our appetizers took 30 minutes and our entrees took 70 minutes to come. We asked and were told they were working on getting the internet back up for the TVs Um. What? 10 minutes later our food came out. He didnt refill drinks or anything. Will definitely not be back. They were not even busy, there were only 2 other tables besides us. Ive worked in restaurants so I understand being in the weeds. This was blatant not caring.

Came here on the rec of an old Reddit thread for poutine, stayed for the dogs. The hotdog and bun were delicious and you could sub the side for poutine which was the perfect post-drinking meal to start the day. Will definitely be back to try some of the other menu items.

I didnt come prepared to like this but was happily surprised. My first taste of poutine. The combination is quite nice. The only thing I would do differently next time is order the fries to be extra crispy and the gravy served on the side. Good beer selection, extensive menu, outdoor seating and attentive owner.

Drinks and service were great, but the food was just.... not good. We had the pretzel (decent, but beer sauce was lacking), macaroni (Kraft? yet somehow worse), poutine (was fine), and white pizza (overpriced and underwhelming).

Great spot to grab a bite n brew in Cary!They offer $2 off 16oz pours (which is usually the price doff between their 16 & 10oz pours) and on Mondays.But, the big draw for me was their poutine! They offer four variations, but the way to go is the Québécois version! The montreal meat and pickles really add some nice flavor contrasts and their gravy/cheese curds are on point!They offer a decent draught selection, but was surprised there weren’t more local Cary/Raleigh brews represented?The Staff is super nice and attentive, as well. Definitely stop in as they have hot dogs, pizza, and burgers on top of poutines.

We had an awesome time. This was an impulse first time visit. We could not have been more impressed. The restaurant was clean. The food was hot and fresh. It was not busy and we appreciated that. The bartender was nice and friendly. The cook came out to check on us and see if we were happy. She nailed it!!! I could have hugged her (stupid social distancing.)I ordered the Québéois Poutine. It was AWESOME!!! The bacon cheese burger had nice crispy bacon not the bacon that was cooked in the morning and was stale. My one recommendation is for the hotdog. The bun was perfect for an adult. Our 8 year old son was eating it and the bun was too big to get into his mouth. NOT a deal breaker!I would totally return and so should too. I am not a big beer drinker and they have plenty available to suit your taste. They also serve Mexican Coke in glass bottles with real sugar not High Fructose Corn Syrup. Hell, you can bring your dog! How could you not like this place.

Great little spot in Cary! Everything on the menu sounds delicious, but I came here for the poutine and it did not disappoint. The Quebecois comes with smoked meat and pickles, and it was the perfect bar snack to have with my double IPA. Will definitely be coming back to try one of their bacon-wrapped hotdogs!

We loved the atmosphere, beer selection, and food. We got to play snes, my boyfriend was able to watch sports, and they were playing fifa at the bar. The bottle shop had great local options, and were available cold if you werent ordering to go. We all enjoyed our food. We had excellent service from the kitchen and got to try their hottest sauce! They make sauces in house, so I would highly recommend trying some out!

Vegan options - YAY!!! So thrilled to have some great plant-based comfort foods that dont include quinoa or black beans. We get the vegan poutine, which taste just like fries and gravy from Baltimore, MD. The Potato MoMos are also incredible (hand rolled fresh daily). We had them fried. Portions are large, and vegan ranch is to die for. What other restaurants offer a decent vegan ranch?! Service is also incredible- you have to order at the bar, but that doesnt bother us. Super dog friendly too 🐶, nice outdoor seating space, and big selection of brews. Check this place out! ✅

Great menu and beer selection.

We were excited to try here after reading the reviews. We were sadly disappointed with the service once we arrived. It took 30 minutes to receive our appetizers (fried pickles) and another 30 minutes to get dinner after. If it had been crowded I might have understood the wait, but it wasnt. At one point the waiter apologized for the wait because they had to fix the internet so they could have music. Umm...we went there for FOOD not internet music.The staff only checked on us when we requested service. Sure the food was decent, but the service ( or lack thereof) made the experience with a lot to be desired.

I am from Montreal, pure French Canadian and I came to this restaurant as I was told I would find real Montreal Poutine ! There is a website that stated the owners are from Montreal and the waitress told me this is wrong info. Nothing like the real Montreal poutine ! Sorry ! I will still come back however !

BEST POUTINE IN NORTH CAROLINA. Is that a bold statement? You bet your sweet tea it is. Pretty much everything food-wise at Bottle Dog will blow you away - because its all made with love and some sort of zesty ingredients that make even a pretzel taste special - but the poutine. Oh my goodness. The original and the Nashville hot chicken are our favorites! Large portion sizes. Great local beer select. The owners are also warm and inviting. Overall, its an amazing place for a drink and a meal. They also have amazing weekly specials.

Very slow and carless about delivery orders. The bartender is rude as well. Never come back here again!

Placed a curbside pickup order. Called the number when I reached there and a lady picked and put me on hold. Waited 5 minutes and she never unheld my call and got back to me. I hung up and called 5 times and each time it went to voice mail. I thought they were busy and walked in. The place was mostly empty and the lady who answered and put me on hold was talking to someone and having fun. It was not busy and never bothered to apologize. During this pandemic, still there are patrons for such businesses and this is not a good way to take care of customers.

We had such a great time at this place last night. Ni, the owner (I think) was such a delight. We walked in and she greeted us warmly. Ordered our first beer and sat down. Turns out that they had wings half off last night so I took full advantage of that. :-)Their menu is pretty great. They make Poutine and fried cheese curds - which Ive rarely seen outside of Toronto. We ordered both to the table and they were gooood.My wings were really good. Maybe the best wings Ive had since I moved down here. And they actually came with bleu cheese! Whats with all the ranch dressing down here?The beer selection was very good, as youd expect from a place like this. Im a fan of darker beers so I went with the Scottish Brown Ale. Delicious and good ABV.Will definitely be back here. This place is a little gem!

This is the place to go for poutine in the area. The beer selection is good. There are always games on the TV behind the bar. They have pool tables. They also have some outdoor seating. This is a great place to hang out and enjoy some bar food in Cary.

Huge beer selection and yummy poutine.

Food was good...portions were huge. Hotdog definitely not worth 14 bucks. Our dinner did not come out all at once, things came out here and there...dont know why that was. But it was good.

Awesome place for a great drink. 12 taps with lots of local brews available. The food is gourmet but at reasonable prices. I love the spicy wings and tenders they use a home made sauce with Ghost Peppers. They have good specials all week and seating inside and out. Not a bad place to catch a game either as they lots of TVs everywhere.

Service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently amazing, but todays visit has been a step above and beyond! First off, the menu has tripled from what was available a few weeks ago. There are many more apps, pizza options, sandwiches, and quite a few veg options. Service has been on point tonight, food was awesome, and I love that they are dog friendly to all pups, especially my pittie! This quickly became a favorite since our first visit about two months ago.

Had the Nashville hot Jumbo Wings this visit and they were FANTASTIC! Hot, juicy, lightly breaded... absolutely perfect. Service was great! My only complaint is that their pricing is a little high, especially considering the location, $10 for 6 wings and $6 for a pint of beer (not rare or high gravity).

Small but fun to visit with friends. Usually 12 beers on tap, and therere always at least a few I like! Owner and bartenders are always friendly. The food is pretty good, too! Just dont order the wings with Insanity Sauce if you value your tongue.

A little hole-in-the-wall, since you cannot see it from the street. Usually closed on Monday. A lot of high end beers you dont see at other local stores. Food is very good. If you go try the hot chicken sandwich, anything with Montreal meat, or the wings.

I’m super picky about my poutine. I’m a French Canadian in the South and I’ve tried them all. You would think that it would be easy to whip up 3 ingredients to make the perfect poutine... but it’s not. The fries have to be crispy, the cheese curds have to be sharp and the gravy needs to be dark but not too salty.Bottle Dog hits it out of the park. This is not my first time having their poutine and they have drastically improved their recipe. I would highly recommend the Castor (The Beaver) because the original (simple) is always the best. Their smoked meat is on the salty side so I would consider that before choosing the poutine with it as a topic. I’m not a fan of this one.Also, please please please support your local businesses during this time. We had a very safe take out experience here as our 6th wedding anniversary dinner.

I absolutely love this place! Their poutine is amazing! The Montreal Meat is my favorite but I suggest the Hot Chicken. Never disappointed in service or product. If youre in Cary, this is one of the best places you can go!

The Bottledog was awesome. We ordered through Postmates bc of Covid. Food was still hot and tasted great. My wife is a vegetarian and got the spicy tofu bites she she loved.

The food (chicken poutine and spicy chicken Mac n cheese) were solid 9-9.5’s about of ten! Comfy place, staff is great. Can’t wait to go again!

Very rarely do you find this level of quality of food, beer, and service in one place. Beer selection was very well curated and reasonably priced. I have a life threatening food allergy and the chef here went above and beyond to ensure that I was accommodated. I had the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich, which was extremely delicious, and my friend had one of their hotdogs and was extremely pleased. This is definitely a great stop if you enjoy beer and Canadian food.

This place was a 5 star place based on having the best tap list in the area and solid food. Unfortunately, the beer grand poobah that made the magic happen is no longer with them which means the brewery relationships are gone. I will be amazed if they are in business a year from now. Very sad indeed.

Ive heard about BottleDog numerous times from my friends, but Ive never been before today. First thing I noticed was the ample parking, we were able to park with ease and stroll right in. For an early Friday evening it was pleasantly packed, but not too crowded. Service was quick, bartenders were friendly, atmosphere was great. And oh man was their poutine DELICIOUS! It was kind of hard to find at first but Ill definitely be coming back with my friends.

Absolutely will be back every time we visit Cary. Can not say enough about the super friendly owners that stayed open later just to accommodate us. Wonderful selection of drinks, even found a cider from back home in NY.

Great bottle shop that serves some really good food! Stopped in to meet some friends for a beer and was pleasantly surprised. They had a good selection of beers on tap to choose from and also a good selection of food. I tried one of the poutine selections and it was very flavorful. Hoping to go back at some point and try a couple of other food items and of course, more beer!

After a one and a half hour wait and a completely incorrect order brought to the table I have readjusted my previous five star review to a one star. I can not adequately express how disappointed I am with the level of service they now provide. I wish I could say that this experience was limited to just myself but it happened to three other tables as we patiently waited for our food. This was one of my favorite places to go in Cary but at this point I doubt I ever take my business there again.

Real shame I have to put 2 stars since the poutine here had some of the best cheese curds Ive eaten in a long time. However the staff here acted like they hated their jobs. Feeling like a criminal for wanting a beer on a Saturday night is bizarre and I wont be back. Bar tenders never smiled and barely made eye contact. Couldnt get our 1 food order correct. If youre looking for an enjoyable atmosphere search elsewhere

It was good, but the expectation and reality were pretty different.The pictures you see here show a well stocked bottle shop, and crowds of people enjoying themselves.The reality I saw was a nearly empty bar (on a Saturday evening) with two small racks of bottles and cans. The beer was very good, very fresh. The small selection of cans and bottles was diverse. That said, it was still a bit disappointing.I must agree with some other recent reviews of a staff with little personality, and while ive heard good things about the food, the place itself turned me off to it.I may be willing to give it another try, but my first take was disappointing.

IDK what that Jenna lady is talking about... Maybe she should just stay home and drink some Bud Light... Experience was fantastic, bartender was engaging and doing his job (catering to ALL the customers). Prices are right in line with where they should be.

I would score this one better but you have to go up to the bar to get your order and a place a order and the bingo is horrible on Tuesdays its more annoying than it is fun.its really hard to have a conversation with someone during the bingo. The food is okay. Definitely would be a better bar if they had a waitress. Ok so update 9/6/2019.....the Bingo chick is gone now Thank God. A lot of changes!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Well, I love the decor. Unfortunately, there was no wait staff. Tried the wings. They were the worst Ive ever had. In addition, I was blow away by the fact that they dont offer a burger. Poor experience. Wont be going back.

Best sandwich ever!!!!! Jewish deli sandwich was out of this world!!! The Nashville Hot Chicken was just what its called. Hot and delicious!! Next time, Im going for one of their signature flatbreads. Beer selection was awesome and the staff was full of knowledge. They gave me great suggestions based on what I like. I will be going back and bringing my dog with me!!!
