Brought my vehicle in to diagnose the check and a hesitation OR VIBRATION when exceloration. They had my vehicle for 7 days to tell me that my gas cap needed replaced. I asked if it was driven see if it was solved... yes I was told. I picked up my vehicle and made it 5 minutes away and the vibration or hesitation started again. Called the next day and left a message and its now 1 week later and I HAVENT heard from ANYONE.

Great friendly service! I love that they take pictures of things in your car for you to point out exactly what they are talking about. I also love the text link for an in depth report!

From the phone call of needing help from my car breaking down on the highway to picking up my car everything in between was outstanding they went above and beyond drove 2 hours to get my part so my family and I could get on our way very informative explained everything showed me the used parts you just dont find great customer service that often anymore thank you so much🚗⚙️❤️🌍

The name says it all- truly the best car repair shop Ive ever encountered!! My car broke down on the highway (on my way from Atlanta to Chicago) and I dropped it off at this shop on a whim. The employees were beyond friendly and understanding, and made sure all boxes were checked before providing a diagnosis. The lead mechanic walked me through the entire process and was transparent with everything. My car ended up not needing a repair (just a faulty sensor) but out of either pity or true human compassion, they didnt charge me for the diagnostic check which completely brightened our day. Honest, trustworthy, and located across the street from a candle company so youll be treated to sweet smells while waiting for your repair. Bathroom/waiting room are very clean and well-maintained. There really are still some fantastic auto shops out there, and this here is the best!!

Really like the staff; Danny and Pamela are super friendly and professional. We really appreciate all they did to work with our warranty company to make our repairs more affordable for us, and working to get the parts in (from overseas) that were needed. It was very refreshing to not feel pressured with ‘extras’ or ‘up-sales’ or anything... they simply fixed what was broken so we could get our car back on the road safely. We feel that they are a very honest shop, and seemed to be truly concerned with our safety. We really appreciate having them in the area and will continue to rely on them for our maintenance needs. I had my wheel bearings packed and brakes done. It seemed pricey but, I didn’t shop the quote. This week I called for a quote on replacing the inner and outer tie rods with a front end alignment. The parts for the job were over $700...so I looked online at Autozone online and found them for less than $200. Their estimate for the work was $1,219. That took me to getting another estimate from the shop I used to use in Woodstock. Their quote for the same job was $609...double the price.Needless to say, I drove back to Woodstock.Get an estimate and compare! My issue is not with their work...it’s with price gouging.

Danny, the manager and Pamela the customer service rep are awesome! As a woman Ive been taken advantage of by mechanics in the past but I feel really comfortable taking my car to this shop. They are reasonably priced and they do a great job! Both of them are extremely good at customer service, in fact, I trust this place completely and will never take my car anywhere else!

This review is not service related.I am sitting in the parking lot now at 8:35am on Saturday April 13th and no one is here. The sign on the door clearly states the hours of operation being Monday - Saturday, 8am-6pm?I called their appointment service number and left a message. I received a call back from one of the men who stated that now they are open every other Saturday. They are working on getting new signage for their customers.

My wife took our ‘99 Dodge Ram 1500 to their shop this afternoon because we believed we needed our brake fluid flushed, but turns out we had two bad cylinders on the back break’s (among other concerns). He explained to her what was a needed to get us back on the road and what we could hold off on until our next visit. He was honest, the price was extremely reasonable, she didn’t feel pressured, and he was very friendly. Also, Pam, what an extraordinary employee! My wife said it was like talking to an old friend, therefore, excellent customer service all around! We will be getting our truck back tomorrow, but we felt the need to give our review immediately because of the outstanding service. They definitely earned our customer loyalty and we plan to be coming back for many years!

I own my own repair shop but happened to be in Cartersville on another matter. Figured I’d drop in and give them a try. Very professional, comfortable waiting room, and quality service. I really enjoyed the digital video inspection of my vehicle sent to me via text message while I was sitting in the waiting room. Very cool! I enjoyed visiting with the people there. Danny is very knowledgeable! All in all, a very positive experience, one of the best I’ve ever had as a customer.

We brought a car we were about to purchase for a pre-purchase inspection. Danny was so helpful in pointing out a few suggested repairs, and the customer service he provided was second to none. Very reasonable price for the inspection too.

I was traveling from Illinois to rincon GA. I pulled over to get gas. My car wouldn’t steer and leaked coolant. It was in the middle of the night I had no idea what town I was in until an hour later when some guy checked to see if I was ok. Later that next morning I called 5 different places and this shop was the only one who answered! I cried and explained to Pam what happened and that I had no idea where I was. She was so nice on the phone and she asked if I was safe. I informed her I had my dog with me. She sent the tow truck right away! He was real nice and sweet and didn’t mind my dog going. He took me and my dog to this shop. Pam was at the desk and told me about their price to look at it and what not. She let my dog come in the waiting room with me. She made sure me and my dog had something to drink. The man who worked on my car came and told me what had happened and what was wrong with it. He Ordered the parts and he put me as a priority. A few hours later he told me my car was done so I could drive the 4 hours back home. This place is WONDERFUL!!!! I hope I never break down again but if I do I hope it’s in Cartersville so I can come back to this place! They were so sweet and caring. I wasn’t just another dollar sign to them. Thank you guys for helping me!!!!!

I needed an overall check up for a 16 year old van and was provided a detailed report on all aspects of my van. We were treated with kindness and the job was completed on time. Highly recommend.

Excellent service! I think the most important thing they do here, which is difficult or just not done at other shops, is the thorough diagnostic of the vehicle. They send you a text, with a link showing each item inspected and where each item needs attention (with photos). Ive spent hours and hours over the years trying to pinpoint problems on different vehicles with mechanics, and theres nothing more frustrating than fixing something and then that fix not being the problem. They figure it out here. This place doesnt try to sell you unnecessary repairs. They show you where the problem is, explain how minor or severe it is...then you decide if you want it fixed or not. Theyll also explain what problems can arise by not fixing/maintaining certain items as well. You get a printed out estimate of repairs needed so you can see it plain as day, which is so much easier than someone just rattling off a list of things needed with prices.Id tell anyone to bring their vehicle here. They are courteous and will treat you right. The word is getting around about this place, and Ive noticed they are getting busier by the day. Just be patient with them (its not a fast food place) and let them do a diagnostic of your vehicle. Youll be glad you did because itll save you time, money and headaches.

I have only lived around Emerson for a few months and when I needed a good reliable repair shop I didnt have any places in mind. After reading reviews on shops in the area I decided to give this place a shot and it was evident that this was the best choice. They are super nice, very professional and offer great quality. They are busy so if you know anything about customer service that should tell you they do great work. Call and make an appointment, youll be glad you did.!!

Im having a hard time rating them. They were very kind and professional. The waiting rooms are excellent especially for parents. They have a kids waiting room. However, it took an extremely long time to get the van serviced on both trips. 3 hours for each visit. Even with the waiting rooms, kids get restless. Having said all of that, they also have fair pricing, amd they seem very honest. I would probably give them 5 stars if it hadnt been for the very long waiting times on both visits. First visit was an oil change which does include bumper to bumper inspection which is great, and the second was to replace a hose which also took 3 hours. Both visits were scheduled. Ill definitely be back however because finding a good honest mechanic is hard it seems.

I greatly value having Best Auto Repair as the place that takes care of my car. Anyone I have ever dealt with there - from the owner, to someone at the desk, to a mechanic, is extremely pleasant and courteous. They are extremely thorough in their overall check of my vehicle. They make recommendations of services but do not use high-pressure or scare tactics, trying to pressure me into having the work done, understanding that sometimes the money is simply not available. I highly, without reservation, recommend their services to anyone who values a trustworthy, high-quality auto repair shop.

Love that they do a complete diagnostic on the vehicle and text it to you. Great to see what needs work and what’s ok. But.... I had my transmission go out and brought it in. They quoted me $6300. I called AAMCO and they quoted $3800 for the same work, new transmission installed with warranty. I just had my engine light pop on and they told me I needed a new cadilitic converter - $1300 and they kept the car for two days! The car didn’t sound right when I drove it. A week later, the engine light pops back on. They didn’t install the parts properly and I had an exhaust leak and a lose heat shield. They kept the car for three days that time. Not The Best Auto Repair Experience!!! Chris Barron, you need to watch your quality control.

The best service I’ve ever experienced from an auto repair/service shop. This team goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience and that all your car needs are taken care of. They are transparent and honest in their quality service. Their digital information pre and post service sets them miles apart from the competition.

Very nice people on staff, but very slow service. I took my car in for a repair covered by the warranty and it took twice as long as it should have to get my car back total of 10 days.. I had to pay for the extra 5 days of car rental out of pocket. I will go elsewhere if I need more work done.

This place is a joke. I took my truck here a while back to see where my oil was leaking. They found the leak and said we can “fix” the oil leak. Fix as in just put an EXCESSIVE amount of silicone on the leak and pray that it stops. Hell I could’ve saved a ton of money doing that myself. Now my truck is leaking oil again, and sure enough it’s the same places leaking that they said they “fixed.” If I could give this place zero stars I would. Do not take your vehicle here, they will take all your money and say they “fixed” the issue. I will NEVER take my vehicle back here.

The best guys in the business, I will never go anywhere else. These guys will thoroughly take care of you and treat you with the MOST respect. Being a single mother you always have people try to take advantage of you, these guys dont.

The owner has worked on my cars ever since he was a kid working in his uncles shop. Hes a great guy. Hes honest and very trustworthy. I would follow him anywhere. Our van broke down on a Saturday afternoon when we were traveling back home to Wisconsin after a vacation. Best Auto was one of the only shops in the area that was open. When got to the shop, the mechanic was able to run a diagnostic test right away. There was a very comfortable waiting room with a TV, WiFi, and complimentary drinks that our family of 6 used while we waited. When the mechanic gave us the unfortunate news that we needed a new transmission and that it would take a few days to repair, the receptionist helped us find a hotel and suggested rental car options. Our van was still under warranty and Best Auto communicated with the warranty company to make sure the repairs were covered. They also worked with a transporting company that we hired to deliver our van back to WI once the repairs were completed. We were very fortunate that our car broke down near Best Auto. Great service, and very helpful, knowledgeable employees!

Worst experience everI made an appt. to get an oil change, a/c check and diagnostic on check engine light. I gave a coupon for $16.99 oil change. She asked if I used synthetic oil, I said no. It took a day and a half for these services. I was quoted $249 to fix air conditioner. The a/c didn’t even last 2 weeks. When I took it back he said it would cost another $832. First he said they didn’t see the second leak cause the first one was spraying so much but I was charged for the uv leak test after the initial repair so if they did that the first leak wouldn’t still be spraying. Then he said they didn’t see it cause the the leak was so small. If it was too small to see I doubt it would have leaked out so fast. I ended up paying $27 for oil change, $52 in Uber fees for 2 days (even though their website under specials says free drop off and delivery in Cartersville area), $100 diagnostic fee and $300 for a/c repair with extra fee for worthless warranty. In the end I paid almost $500 for oil change and a diagnostic report I no longer trust. I feel very taken advantage of but luck for me I found an honest mechanic at Garrett auto and paid $300 less than this place quoted and was well taken care of.

Very happy with my decision to use Best Auto. They got to my truck the same day I dropped it off and had the 4wd fixed and back on the road before the weekend. They will send you text updates and give you a link to your full vehicle inspection report with pictures and explanations. I will be using them from now on.

They did a great job with replacing brakes and rotors on all four wheels. The mechanic was very detailed in describing all the work that was performed and made me aware of other issues that I didn’t know about. I recommend these guys for their attention to detail and honesty.

Great bunch of guys. Explain repairs needed and cost and dont pressure you into making any repairs you dont want to. Theyll print you a quote for when you come back. Also the cost was half what the Honda dealership wanted for the same repair.

Boy did they save my truckAlternator got me back on the road to Kentucky.I had to have another part put on when i reached KY but these people certainly are my hero!

I dont trust them at all. They wanted to charge me over $2600 for oil leak and a/c leak, including silly fees like a credit card fee. I took it to another mechanic I do trust and he charged me all of $60 and said theres no oil leak, the engines probably burning it, and got my a/c working again. Thats a huge difference in price!

My wife was going to Chris for years before I met her. He and his guys do excellent work, they are honest, fair, friendly and professional. I would recommend them to everyone. Its very comfortable in there if you have to hang out and wait like I usually do.
