DO NOT GO HERE!! Had my truck hauled here after the transmission went out on my way to the airport. When I contacted Trent about the price to fix/rebuild it first he told me probably $4000 would get it done but would have to look at it after it was out. I called back the next day he said more like $6000 but they wouldn’t warranty it. I went and scraped together what I thought I would need to get it done and called back he asked me how much I could afford instead of giving me a set price. I told him that the most I could pay was $9000 that was with me draining my savings and taking out a loan. He said they could probably do it for $7500 plus an extra $1400 for a couple dealer only parts. I waited for almost a month and a half for the parts to come in and I tried to convey I get paid for my truck by my company and while I understand that the parts where on back order it set there at least an additional week waiting for a flex plate instead of him picking up the phone and asking me if I wanted to go with aftermarket instead of waiting on the dealer so I lost $500 that week just by him not communicating with me. When I called him to find the holdup and he told me and I paid for an aftermarket flex plate costing me almost an additional $500! If I could give them zero stars I definitely would! No set price! Don’t ask how much someone can afford have a set price and stick to it! I could’ve bought a whole rebuilt stage 2 transmission with warranty for around $7000! Pick up the damn phone and communicate with your customers! I lost $500 in pay just because someone couldn’t call and talk about other options and all I received was “it’s costing us money sitting here too” !! Honestly believe that they saw my truck and thought I had a lot of money and tried to take a big chunk and in the process wiped me out financially! I wouldn’t ever do business with them again and pretty sure it’s not shifting properly!

I brought in my 1975 Cadillac Eldorodo convertible for a transmission service,it was a one owner car until I bought it. Since it had been sitting in a garage for a few decades it needed all of its fluids drained and replaced. They did a great job, they had to replace a front right axle because it is a front wheel drive car. I called 3 other transmission shops who didnt want to touch the car. Luckily, when I got down the list to them. I was more than assured it would be in good hands. It very much was, appreciate it gentleman. 5 🌟

Had my truck over a month then took another week to get a torque converter because the first one didn’t work right they said. Quoted me one price then in the end it was 700 more than the orignal quote. If I could give no stars I would. They don’t communicate like they should and just down right not professional. I wish I would have taken it somewhere else.

Just want to thank Trent for taking care of my truck. Got it when my Dad passed, sat for two years and had issues. Transformers was straight forward and took care of my issue. Truck runs great and shifts like a new one. Thanks Guys!Highly recommend them!!

Honest and fair

I give them a 5 for being honest and helpful. While I did not have any work done to my car, they did provide me options on next steps. From what I gathered walking into the shop, they are a Faith based business. They checked out my car and advised what I could do moving forward. Many places are about getting you in and trying to have you pay for work that is not necessary. They did not charge me anything for taking their time to look at my car. I am forever grateful. I would recommend them on this alone.

Trans-Formers Transmissions II rebuilt my transmission is the place to go! My transmission broke down during my move from IL to FL and Trans-Formers was extremely responsive. They set me up with a tow truck that towed me from 30 miles away, kept my parents informed with prices and processes as well as myself, re-built my transmission in two days, and did a great job with keeping me updated with the progress of my car so I could get back on the road. Rodney, in the office, drove me to an Enterprise 20 miles down the road so I could get a rental car, looked for nearby hotels, and found a nearby repair shop in FL that could do my routine check-up after a few days of having the transmission rebuilt. So far, my transmission is working great. Thank you so much for all of your help and diligent service!

Excellent service. I brought in what we thought was a pretty straight forward trans swap and it ended up being anything but. I bought a non running work van with a spare trans and it had a lot more problems than we expected from everything from seized torque converter to damaged valves and on and on. Obviously with extra work they couldnt stick to their original quate but for being in a situation they could have royally screwed me they came back with a very fair price and did excellent work. Could not be happier with a bad situation. Thanks to the techs and manager that helped me through this process.

They have had my vehicle for a month to fix transmission under warranty, but every time they try to fix it, theres another problem. They tried many times to install a new torque converter, but could not do it properly. They then decided to rebuild my transmission (again) and I was told I would get it today, but the call came that they needed another part and they were waiting on that. They send the transmission off site to be rebuilt, and he has not started on it yet. I was told I would be a priority, but since it has been a month, I dont think so. Dont let these people touch your vehicle! I would give them zero stars if given the choice.

This place, what a find!! While away in vacation, I needed some unexpected repairs, although the sign would direct you to Transmissions they do all repairs! Sean the manager and his staff were both very friendly and knowledgeable, and got me back on the road! Please if in the area use them for all your Automotive needs!

They really helped me out. I was out driving one day and my car would not go when I put it in drive. I put it in 2nd and was able to drive but then starting having issues in 2nd. I pulled into their lot. Sean gave me a ride home. They kept the car over the weekend but had it fixed the next week. The car is driving great and no further problems.

I took my 2008 Jeep Wrangler in for some major mechanical repairs. The staff there was very friendly and very knowledgeable and walked me through every step of the way, and informed me of everything that needed to be done. All in all I will be returning for any more repairs that are needed and will recommend them to all my friends

Very friendly and was a God send, when we were broken down in a RV, and out of town. A previous mechanic was called came out, stayed for 10 minutes, fixed nothing, could find nothing, and charged us over $200.00.Then this wonderful gentleman came helped us, followed us to his shop, and spent his time trying to find the problem, referring us to someone who he thought could help, and charged us nothing.

I had 2 vehicles that needed attention and very little time, I took the first one and had the work performed while I waited a very short time. I took my 1989 town car in had a transmission problem they said that it was just and cable issue it will be $100 so told them to fix it I had other work done ae:- brakes, and power staring issue they fix every thing paid $1400.00 pick it up drove down the street and the transmission was NOT fixed and I spent $1300. extra for the car that was not worth to fixing I would not have fixed it so dont trust them

They try to cheat me, over charging for labor,I never back to this particular place. Issue on July 2013is a new owner now, I dont know. The service.**Update** now it a different manager, before was Amco transmition.

I took my 2006 infiniti qx56 my transmission was completely burned it didnt move either forward or back I was watching workshops on the internet and the first one that came out was transformers transmission I took my car on a crane and knowing the problem of my car they had to do a check After 2 days I was driving my car and it was as if it were a different car thanks to the mechanics and the owner of the workshop charles hicks sr treated me as if I were family and the best thing is a very clean and professional workshop in his Now I have more arrangements to make and I will definitely go back to the same workshop for the deal and what they are with their clients thanks to Charles Hicks sr and his workers for a good job and what they were I recommend them God bless
