Friendly staff. Very fast to get fuel. Sometimes they give you scents for the trucks. They even clean your windshield and check your fluids.

It all depends on the associate that will assist, some are at a level of great custumer service, and some at very low level, if not working with diversity of people is not for them, they should do other jobs or find a place of one kind of people only, in other words, dont treat custumers different because of race.

Alberto Mendoza is an outstanding example of what traditional customer service should be. He was knowledgeable of the products, rates, and services Penske provides. I was satisfied with my transaction with him and Penske. Thank you agin Alberto for your assistance and helping make my move a bit more smooth.

Very nice. The location is a bit off the path, but once youve been there, its easy to find. The truck we rented was clean, ran well, met our needs perfectly & was reasonably priced. The rental staff was obviosly knowledgeable, efficient, and oddly fun (for an early morning return experience.) Id definitely use them again.

No matter how much you call prior to check the availability, they will lie to you and say its going to be ready. I went there on time to pick it up and they didnt have the size that was reserved!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? This is basically a SCAM and workers are liars. DO NOT RENT HERE. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

My company leases trucks through penske and mine broke down today. Got towed into this location for a swap out and everyone I dealt with was very helpful and provided top notch customer service. From the young man at the front desk, forgot his name, to Omar at the service desk to the technician that helped with the eld device. The only issue was Evelyn at the front desk. For what ever reason she had a real bad attitude with me.

Albert was great. Helped us quickly get our reserved truck.PS, their moving blankets are just pieces of heavy duty felt. If you need more padding, make sure to save your own bedding.

Clean facility with parking inside their gated lot. The staff seemed efficient and courteous. I rented a Hino 16 box truck with a lift gate and it performed flawlessly. The return process with quick and ready too. Ill probably call these guys again the next time I need to rent a truck.

Penske never let me down ever. Looks like in this place Penske find the greatest people to work with. Thank you for a great experience again. Thats why we go to Penske because I want to feel better even all the moving stressing, Penske guys have great customer service and that is more than you need in your stressful Moments.

The truck I reserved broke down and getting a replacement required me going to Long Beach from Carson and picking up another, now this guy wants his truck returned here in L.B. and my car is in Carson. Cost us crucial hours and made it necessary to rent an extra day. Should I be a satisfied customer? They all smiled and spoke softly and courteously. I could see this as manipulation for profit...

Actually renting a moving truck here went fine. i called in to make reservation and spoke to agent to set it up. they treated me like a vip customer. i was shown a few sized and different trucks they rent out. the one i picked was fine all day.i like the fact that i have the peace of mind with the rental.thanks!!!

RENTER BEWARE — MISTAKE to rent from Penske... I rented a truck for a couple days during the holidays last December...before I finished using the truck, the rental agent I rented from STARTS THREATENING ME, TELLING ME HES GOING TO TRACK ME DOWN TO GET HIS TRUCK BACK! TELLING ME PENSKE WAS GOING TO REPORT ME TO CREDIT AGENCIES TO HURT MY CREDIT AND HE WAS GOING TO TRACK ME DOWN TO PHYSICALLY HURT ME AND GET HIS TRUCK! WTF?! I tried to return the truck on time, but got caught with it loaded and the storage I was goin to closed before I could unload the truck; I end up stuck with a full truck for 3 days for the holidays. The truck is full, and can’t unload it. I call Penske to inform them of the situation I was in. And this guy starts threatening me! I informed this Agent that I would return the truck ASAP. I thought to myself, maybe they won’t charge me for the truck for these three days afteI was not able to use truck, everything including Penske being closed. I had to just park it and leave it! OH NOOO! Before that question could ever get asked - the location I rented from, that I had called and explained I was stuck with the truck full of my belongings and unable to unload it - calls and starts ACCUSING ME of STEALING THE TRUCK and starts THREATENING THAT HE IS GOING TO GET ME!!? WHAT?!? I MEAN WTF?!? The independent agent of the lot calls and tells me I am trying to steal the truck and he has “ways” to get at me! I can’t even believe this guy is THREATENING ME!! You know?? When I finally unloaded the truck I insisted that I would drop the truck off at another location other than where I had rented because of these THREATS...let me just add that I don’t react well to TREATS...I was very tempted to return the truck and “explain” to the Penske rep that Threatening me accomplished one thing...and SMACK! You know?? Who is he to threaten me like that?? I called and told him I was unfortunately stuck with the truck FULL and my storage CLOSED! I still have the voice mail archived... On the 2nd, I unload and I return the truck to another location (keep me away from that guy for HIS sake!) and mention the whole ordeal with the THREATS, along with the fact that I did not mean to have the truck when the holidays arrived. They never even considered a discount. They never even said “Sorry about that!” Nothing. Let me tell you, if I owned a truck rental and one of my agents threatened a customer, I would immediately fire him and would definitely do something...anything...to calm the customer and show some concern for the treatment I had encounter. INSTEAD PENSKE WAS COMPLETELY SILENT! I wrote the Local manager and that got forwarded to the District Manager...and NOTHING. Not one word! Can you even imagine this nonsense I had to absorb by renting from Penske?? Not even a reply to my detailed email explaining how I had been threatened but that idiot! Not even a reply?! UNBELIEVABLE! So I paid my bill in full and left and till today, the whole incident has never been addressed, by any level manager at Penske. Not even an apology! It’s UNBELIEVABLE THAT PENSKE HAS AGENTS THAT THREATEN CUSTOMERS AND THAT THE MANAGEMENT, INCLUDING THE DISTRICT MANAGER COMPLETELY AVOIDED ME! SO KEEP THIS IN MIND. Penske agent THREATEN ME and the management DID NOT CARE - AT ALL! Not even an apology! Beyond a horrific approach by the company to run and hide after an Agent Threatens a Customer, they are easily CIVILY AND CRIMINALLY LIABLE. IVE KEPT ALL THE PAPERS, EMAILS TO MANAGEMENT AND EVEN THE VOICEMAIL OF THE AGENT THREATENING ME. COMPLETE CUSTOMER CARE BREAKDOWN AND COMPLETE REFUSAL TO ADDRESS THE MATTER BY PENSKE MANAGEMENT! IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUE WITH PENSKE, THE MANAGEMENT THERE HAVE DEAF EARS! RENT ANYWHERE ELSE - DO NOT RENT FROM PENSKE.

They didnt have my promised truck in stock and couldnt get it for me. Very bad customer service. Do not rent from them.

Good service a little wait but still fast

After I told them the rate I get with Enterprise, they were able to beat the daily rate (although not the per mile rate). One of the great things about this place is that they rent out from as low as 18 years of age, as compared to some places that have a minimum age of 25.

Really poor customer Service! I work in an Events Company, we rented 2 trucks, we needed High Cube Bobtail trucks, when I called they said they had them, my surprise, they didnt, second, I was trying to get some sort of deal compare to Enterprise Rent a Truck to see if they were able to match their price on rentals, I sent several emails to a guy named Daniel and Ive never received any email back, third, once on site getting the trucks, we did the paperwork, check out and everything and all the sudden, they couldnt find the keys for one of the trucks, the diesel lever on the one they found was lower, when we returned, they charged us way more because of the difference on the paperwork, so dissapointing. I was contacting Penske specifically because we were trying to get some sort of leasing options with them, but after this really bad experience I would never open any opportunity with them in the future.

Poor customer service, my company leases and has our vehicles serviced by penske, I arrive to pick up a vehicle and was walking towards Terry one of the managers we make eye contact and he rudely turns his back towards me not even acknowledging my being there or telling me Ill be right with you just turns his back to me and began a conversation with another gentleman, I was not helped until other office personnel asked if i had been helped.
