Friendly staff, efficient and quick. Great doctor. Good selection of glasses.

Wasted my time, money and effort. I had a standing appointment for a month and a half they had all of my insurance information and everything, but the day of the appointment after Ive sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes with my son whos missing school for this they inform me that I need a referral. Called my insurance and they say nope. I am livid.

I have been a patient here for years. Always great, friendly service until recent. The exam went well, the Dr was kind. The picking out glasses all went well. The follow up and communication failed. It is a couple days shy of a month- still no glasses. I have called and went in to check the status multiple times. I have been given several excuses- it takes 2-3 weeks, it has been taking a bit longer, the lab is waiting on frames. I spoke to the nicest girl today who acknowledged that it had been a long time and would have someone call me back. No one did. I finally called and spoke to someone who was very defensive when I asked about the glasses. Mind you, I ordered both sunglasses and regular glasses. She told me that the frames (never said which ones) were out of stock for a while. No one notified me and gave me the option of selecting new ones or to wait or even whether they were the sunglasses or regular glasses. I asked about receiving a refund due to the extensive wait so I could just get them elsewhere. She said they would only offer a 50% refund due to their policy. I said well this is not my fault and asked if she would at least speak to the Dr about it. I explained that I have been a patient there for years and usually receive my glasses the following week. She went on to say that she would call the lab and see where they are at in the process and call me back. I went on to say that I was very disappointed and frustrated that it has taken this long and for me to have to inquire multiple times to get somewhere. Then I asked if I should be expecting her call later today after speaking to the lab? She went on to tell me that I had an attitude. I responded that I actually did not, I was being quite understanding despite all that I have had to go through because they clearly have a disconnect somewhere. She again said I had an attitude and I asked why? She said because I asked if she was going to give me a call back- I replied that she was who said she was going to call the lab and call me back so I was just clarifying since she had said she got the message that I called earlier but never bothered to call me back. I thanked her and we hung up.She eventually called back to let me know that the sunglasses have been there at the office for a while. No one let me know that any of the times I called to check or stopped by- she said they dont usually tell the patients one is there without the other. She told me the other glasses should arrive at the office by Thursday. I thanked her and let her know that I would pick them up if and when they do arrive. I do appreciate that she followed up with the lab and then with me. All of this could have been prevented if someone would have just listened to me and looked into what the hold up was. Instead I was just pacified by saying next week for sure.

The personnel are so nice & friendly, makes it all a pleasant experience. Dr K is nice, seems very thorough & knowledgeable with the eye exam. I highly recommend this office.

Eagle Vision and Dr. K especially have always provided excellent service. Her office is cleaner than any Ive ever been in, shes always thorough and her entire staff are all very knowledgeable and personable. Amidst all of the COVID-19 chaos, I was unable to pick up my glasses. To my surprise they were next day rush delivered and that was above and beyond and wont soon be forgotten! Best service best prices best optometrist all-around. As long as Dr. K is in business I will remain a faithful customer :)

Dr. K and her staff are amazing. She makes it easy when youre in for a full exam. Unlike other healthcare professionals, she explains whats going in in easy to follow words and makes she you understand fully, instead of just being rushed in and out.

Had my eye exam and paid my $30.00 copay and then still got a bill for $20.00 more. I called prominence health care and was told that is the way the eagle vision submitted the claim $30.00 for visit and $20.00 for the eye exam that is a total of $50.00. Prominence told us that eagle vision bills that way and prominence has to pay the way it is submitted. We have never had to pay more then $30.00 copay for an eye exam (SO SAD WE WILL NEVER GO BACK).

Let me start off by saying the Dr was nice. Also a few of the back office staff, were as well. The front office is rude and obviously does not know what they are doing. First time there, we show up early to our appointment. I have to fill out paperwork, I understand this. Then they tell us to go wait outside in the heat and hazardous smoke, even though there was only one other person inside. Also just so its clear, when I made the appointments I had told Cristina that I had Medicaid and eyemed and gave her all the insurance information over the phone, she even told me I could use them together. I get there my boys are covered fully by Medicaid, but now conveniently I cant use them both and have to use eye med and pay all these copays for my own. I was getting upset at this point and telling them how Ive never had a issue using both at any other better vision business. I almost cancelled my appointment at this point. Waited there for over an hour before being seen while my boys where done. I decided to stick with it and was looking more into the charging both insurances, when I bought it to the attention of one of the staff members that you can, when she raised her voice and snapped at me they cant and never have in this office. I finally finish my eye exam which was unusual short and went back to the waiting room. When one of the girls start helping me with picking out glasses. Then we cant find any and she ask me to look around to find some. Then she comes up to me and says they cant bill my eye med insurance for the glasses because my name is different on my ID, which I explained to them why because of getting married, when I first went in there, I also brought with me my ss that has my ss and new married name on it. Now all of a sudden they could double bill Medicaid one portion and eye med the other and I still had to pay them 10$ for the exam because they were still billing both, but somehow couldnt do it for my glasses. Also when I first went in, Cristina said it was only going to be $10 for the whole eye exam and that was all covered by eye med, but now when I am done they have to charge or bill both insurances, but again, I cant get my glasses. Which I guess it is a good thing since, they had no decent glasses and the ones they did have were expensive. I finally just paid the $10 and got our prescriptions that I probably wont ever use and just go to a better office that treat their customer better and correctly. Not have front office staff like the short shoulder length brunette and Cristina snapping at their patients and saying pretty much take it or leave it. Also not talking about someone while they can see you in another room would probably be a good idea.. I wasnt going to write a review, but I was just so upset at everything that happen. Also, Im sure they are going to come back with some short or snippy response back on how they dont do those things and how its somehow all my fault or issues. Like if you read all the other 1 stars you would see.Response to their reply, 11/04/2020You were billing my eye med for the glasses and then told me you couldnt. You clearly need to get your information straight, and the people in the office. Didnt even apologize for how rudely I was treated. Also saying you cant bill both and in the end you do it anyways. Like I said get your information together, because I know mine, train your staff better. Bad customer service and business.

My wife and I began to look for a reputable eye doctor after getting out of the military and moving back home to Carson Valley. Eagle Vision was highly recommended to us from a family member. Like we assumed my youngest needed glasses. The Technician inquired about insurance and we told them that we have one insurance that will cover the glasses and that we weren’t sure if our Military insurance would. The technician offered to conduct a “Pre-Authorization” with our military insurance so that my son would have a pair for home and one for school. Shortly after we were assured by the technician that we could use both insurances in order to get 2 pairs. Fast forward 3 months and we received a bill in the mail for over $300 stating that our 2nd insurance (military) claim was rejected and that we were required to pay for the cost. I called and spoke to a billing person and asked if there were any records of the Pre-Authorization and she couldn’t provide anything. She did give me a number that they supposedly used to gain the pre-authorization. When I called said number it was a prescription drug company that doesn’t deal with Eye care at all. The Prescription drug company does do Pre-Authorizations for my insurance but only for medicine. The explained that they keep meticulous records concerning patience and that they had no records on file for my son. Up to now I have tried to call Eagle Vision 3 times and left messages for the office manager and have not received any calls back to try and mediate the situation. I honestly believe that they were just trying to sell a second pair of glasses and didn’t actually get any sort of pre-authorization. On top of that the office managers refusal to return multiple messages shows how unprofessional Eagle Vision really is. I will not be recommending to any individuals what so ever and will be submitting a formal complaint to the Nevada State Board of Optometry and the Better Business Bureau.

Worst place ever first time here I had to pay $88 after I had Medicaid for my son, my son broke his glasses, glasses were under warranty, however because my son placed glue the glasses fell out of warranty, I was told that I had to pay for a new frame so I did. I was told that the glasses were on warranty again so next time they broke I didn’t have to pay, my son being a boy again broke his glasses I came in and now I have to pay a shipping fee because they don’t have any glasses. This place is ridiculous and employees are rude. Especially the skinny blonde that sits in the front . You need to learn some customer service, you get payed to help people not lose business, definitely spreading the word on how rude and bad you guys are!

Very nice experience getting a check up and contacts! They have all the top equipment available, everything went smooth and fast. They say allow for 90 minutes but I was out of there in 1/2 hour!

Dr. K is awesome. The staff is great too. Definately recommend her.

Every time I call to make an appointment, I get great service and when I arrive for my appointment the staff is friendly and very helpful, the office is very clean and organized. I waited less than 2 mins before being called. The Dr was and always very professional and friendly, she always remembers me from a year ago. Dr. checks my eyes very thoroughly and makes recommendations. This office is the best Optometry office. I recommend them to everyone looking for eye care.

I love this place. Best frames and best service I have found. I tried on glasses for almost an hour and they were so nice to me and found every frame they thought I would like. I had only come in before for my boyfriends frames, but I knew I would be coming in for my next pair.I ordered glasses last Friday and they already arrived. I am excited to go in for my fitting because the staff is so friendly.

The appointment was set quickly & easily, and the visit for my annual appt. was also fairly quick and easy, all of the girls were friendly and helpful through the various aspects of the checkup, dealing with Emily & Sarah made getting the checkup and a new set of glasses a very pleasant experience! Dr. K is terrific, and all will explain any questions you have.

LOVED IT, EVERYONE WAS SO NICE AND THE DR WAS JUST AMAZING. Prices were great. Really cant say enough good our experience.

A great oiled machine! I loved this office and definitely won’t be switching; they have a long time customer with me now. I personally HATE the eye doctors and would rather get a tooth pulled than my eyes checked but this was the best experience I’ve ever had at the eye doctor. I scheduled appointments with my two children and myself at the same time and they saw each of us throughly and in well staggered time. They are top notch and worked so kindly and friendly with my youngest. They are all well educated and through and know how to welcome a patient. Beautiful facility and great staff. I work at a hospital and will be referring patients to this office for sure.

The doctor is amazing as she always is and but the new people that work there are really rude and were discriminatory towards some ppl and we were waiting three hours to get in there and another lady was waiting for about 4 hours and more and the people were really discriminatory to her as well for being a poc maybe but it was not okay especially sitting outside for hours in the sun with no shade

Amazing staff, and the doctor her self is incredible. Unlike many doctors in this area she cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I see a few people complaining about her prices.. As far as I’m concerned you get what you pay for. She is incredible and I would never recommend any other optometrist. I wish she was a General Practitioner.

I was very impressed with my checkup, and pleased with the extended Thursday hours so that I didnt have to take time off work. It had been several years since I had my last exam, so things have obviously changed, but the office was very efficient and integrated technically. I really liked Dr. Khankhanian, very knowledgeable and thorough! I felt comfortable with her right away. I also appreciated that I wasnt pressured about buying glasses. They asked, I explained I was getting safety glasses though my work, and they understood and let it go immediately. Ill definitely go back when it is time again.

No joke, this is the best optometrist I have EVER been to in 42 years of wearing glasses. The staff is amazing, the doctor is super thorough. My last exam somewhere else I wasnt happy with the prescription, turns out it was wrong! The doctor here nailed it, she is amazing!The office is spotless, the girls up front know if frames are going to fit you before you even try them on, I have nothing but praise. Worth the 120 mile drive from Hawthorne, NV.Oh, and the take both Care Credit and medicaid, and have weekend appointments!!!

Dr. K and her staff are truly amazing!!! Dr. K is such a compassionate dr, she is very thorough and will answer any questions a patient may have. All of her staff is well knowledged and just as compassionate as Dr. K. I have basic Medicare with no supplement plan, the girls in the billing office got EVERYTHING taken care of for me after I paid my part with NO other billing issues for my exam and glasses.I wont go anywhere else for any of my eye care needs other than Dr. K!!!!!!

Dr. Khankhanian is very knowledgeable, helpful, willing to answer all your questions. Everybody working in her office are really nice and friendly. Only reason I am giving 4 stars because even though I had an appointment, I have to wait more than an hour there to see the doctor, I felt like I was walking in without appointment. I dont know, either they have too many people scheduled in the same time or something else, they defiantly need to work in scheduling.

I visited the office for pink eye was told by staff that my insurance would cover it and only had to pay deductible of $25. Well a month later I receive a bill from the office for $130. I contacted my insurance company and was told that office did not get prior authorization reason that this was not paid. After contacting office to have them correct and fix they did not instead I get another bill a month later saying I’m 120 days late. Terrible billing service and they seem like they do not know how to bill insurance company’s I ended up having to pay and working with my insurance company in getting reimbursed. I would not recomend any State of Nevada employees to visit this office go some where else.

Dr k and staff are amazing. I have 4 young kids and its a lot for people. My kids enjoy talking to the girls and dr.k has been so amazing to them while I am having my exam done. She is amazing with my kids and their eye exams too! I dont think every doctor is cut out to deal with young children but she is she has the calm and patience kids need to have a great first experience at the eye doctors.ive never had an issue here plenty of glasses to choose from and best of all they actually help you pick out glasses and give honest opinions on styles and colors and guide you to some awesome options. If you need someone who is good with kids this is the place. They dont make me feel like an inconvenience because I have my kids with me and they are so kind to everyone. My whole family goes here and we will continue to do so.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. K and her staff!!! All of them are very knowledgable, compassionate, attentive and caring! My very first visit wasnt an emergency but Dr. K was on vacation and agreed to see me to find out what was wrong with my eyes. Over the past 14+ months Dr. K has cleared up my eyes when I didnt think Id ever see white eyes again. She calls me her anomaly patient but she has never once given up on me and has given me the BEST eye care available!! If I am having a bad day Dr. K always has a comforting hug to cheer me up, she IS the best. Her staff is equally amazing!! They greet me by first name every visit and always greet me with a smile. My left eye is more sensitive and every assistant knows I need two numbing drops in that eye. During one visual field test my eyes were irritated more than usual and I had a bit of a break down, she stopped the test and comforted me and Dr. K walked by and asked what was wrong and helped comfort me as well. I dont do well with most doctors and during my first visit to Dr. K she and her staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease that now I look forward to EVERY visit with them.I will NEVER go to another eye doctor for any reason...I just wish I could clone her and her staff for my regular doctor needs!!!On a side note...my brother had as severe eye problem and didnt have a regular eye doctor and no insurance. He went with me to my appointment and not being a patient of Dr. K she saw him anyway. He had as bleeding optic nerve and she got his needed surgery scheduled the next day...Dr. K saved his eye sight!!! If you ask me that is WAY above and beyond!!!!You will never regret seeing Dr. K!!!!

I liked this office because i used to go to Advanced Eye center. They were not helpful at all the last time i went in. they booked my appointment 2 months out. Eagle got me in that same Saturday. I love not having to ask time off work to go to an eye appoinment. they provided the same type of contact as Advanced. What i did not like and therefore rated it a 4 was trying to push me into buying glasses with features i did not want or need. The glasses started at about 300$ dollars (cheapest frame available since i would hardly use them ) and finally she lowered them to 140$ without the features.

Tip from personal experience: Go to a more reputable clinic. Do not waste your time and money like i did. Read further for the reason why.No one in this clinic values your time and money. If you have an appointment, expect that you would wait for almost an hour just in the waiting room alone. When i saw Dr. K, she did the exams but she didnt explain anything at all. She apparently prescribed me bifocal lenses according to the optician. It was my first time being prescribed Bifocals and when i asked to another appointment for a prescription recheck, the person who answered my call argued and yelled with me and said that Dr.K doesnt get any prescriptions wrong. Apparently shes the perfect doctor according to her staff and that she never makes mistakes. All i wanted was to have my prescription double checked before I order for lenses cause if its wrong i dont want to pay for another one remade. Is that too much to ask? They dont care because all they do is collect patients hard earned money and they dont care about anything else. They made me wait in the waiting room for nothing and they wanted me to pay more because the doctor didnt exactly do her job the first time. (Which is my fault apparently!) Oh and while i wait for my appointment that i was 20 minutes early for, the time that i should be seen by the doctor, she is in the waiting room area taking pictures of her flowers. Apparently, taking pictures is more important than the patients that she is scheduled to see.Update :I was finally able to get in at a very reputable optometry office in Reno. And guess what, they didn’t prescribe me bifocal lenses! The doctor in Reno said that there is no absolute reason for me needing to wear bifocal lenses. My eyes are very healthy. Turns out the doctor who doesn’t get anything wrong, got something wrong. (No one’s perfect. You might be a doctor but you’re not a God!) She’s got too much ego that she won’t even try to double check an exam and too much pride to abmit that she’s wrong. This review goes for her staff too. This situation could have been easily resolved if they cared about their patients and fixed the problem in the first place. Instead i got yelled at and mistreated very poorly as a human being by everyone in this clinic.

Dr. was super nice the staff is a mess! The fax wasnt the first time there was a mess up, also my very first appointment it took them 20 min to take me back. Second visit I was suppose to get my contact lenses and they said they havnt even ordered them yet so I took time off work for nothing. When they finally got my contacts I didnt recieve a call I had to call the office to keep checking up on them.

Dr. Khankhanian talks with you, tells you what she is doing. This was my 2nd visit to office and I will continue to come with follow ups. I feel that this optometrist is very knowledgeable and up on current eye care, her crew is very professional and also makes you feel very welcomed.

Been going here since 2011, so happy they moved to the new location! The staff is great, and Dr. K is the only one I will trust with my eyesight care.

I have never been disappointed with the quality of service and the staff they are truly the best.

The staff and dr were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, they were so overbooked that my wifes 1140 apt time took until 3pm!!! We had to go back out to the waiting room twice and after dilating her eyes and telling us 15 minutes, we waited another 35 minutes until they came back out to get her. The double and triple booking of patients made her first time experience so bad I am not sure we will be going back. Three hours at an eye apt is just plain ridiculous. Highly disappointed in the experience.

Dr. Khankhanian is an amazing Doctor, my fiance and I both love her. When I came into the office to get my exam it was fast and affordable. All the ladies here are really nice and helpful. During an emergency situation Dr. Khankhanian came in on her day off just to save my butt. I had broken my glasses snoboarding and couldnt see. Since I have to drive a work truck this was not good. I cant be driving if I cant see right. Dr. Khankhanian was right there to help me out though. I texted her at 645 am and she woke up and came to the office to get me some contacts.
