Three quick visits for minor issues with new Winnebago RV bought on East coast. Miguel was very helpful, assisting this RV neophyte, at no charge, to check out coach, hands on advice, questions/issues resolved, also a good referral for a chassis issue. Will be our go to shop for future service.
Watch out for Miguel. He has a knack for delaying things & giving you the runaround. He has a negative attitude about making your service anything but easy.We bought our mh from there this year in January. It came with a bunch of stuff broken in it, not working, (we did not know because they said a thorough inspection was done prior to sale). So when we brought it back for service earlier this year, it took them almost a full week to do much of nothing. All this should have been taken care of under our warranty right away. But they put us off for months for reason of being short handed, bad weather, or having to order parts. Then they never followed through when the parts came in.Very frustrating. All summer long we were unable to drive it anywhere because they kept putting us off. So our RV sat in one campground site for 3 seasons. We love the coach but we do not like how Miguel at the service center treated us. We are still waiting in September for them to get around to us! :( We bought it to move across country in. Miguel has given us every excuse in the book to not carry through on the work we were promised theyd do.
Friendly staff, not pushy, experienced . Work to find what you need to fit budget.
Thank you Mark for being so patient with us learning about our new trailer . We had many questions and he went over everything and some a second time to make sure we got it. Again, thank you.
A little snafu on the sale, but Michael Hohl RV did us right to overcome the issue and did us right. Buy your RV from them, we did and highly recommend them.
On December 20, 2019 I called Micheal Hohl RV to look at one of their RVs they had on sale. I spoke to Scott and we set an appointment to meet on Sunday December 22, 2019. My wife and I went down Sunday Scott stood us up was not there to meet us!!! Not very good customer service Scott!!! Luckily Daryl another sales rep. was there. Daryl was awesome in showing us the RV! Daryl is very friendly, courteous and made us feel comfortable!!! Micheal and their sales manager better keep this Daryl around hes great!!! We are ending up going to buy the RV. Thanks for the 100% help from Daryl not Scott! My wife and I highly recommend if you go looking for an RV ask for Daryl not Scott. Daryl works at the south end of Michael Hohl RV. Both my wife and I want to say THANK YOU!!!!!
They had the parts I needed in stock. Prices are what you expect at an RV store, but having what I needed right away was worth the extra cost. The staff here is friendly and helpful.
By far the worse experience possible. Took our brand new motor home in for some warranty work. Prior to picking it up they called and said that a technician had side swiped our vehicle. Accident caused over $3700 in repairs. Advisor stated to me while I was trying to understand everything that at least we told you, we could of had it fixed and not even told you. They did not report it to the insurance so Im not sure what I do when I go to sell it or trade it in. The advisor said they were not reporting it so it wont show up on any CarFax reports. Felt this is unethical and not comfortable with it. Was told on 3 different occasions that it would be ready for pick up only to have it not ready and the only way I found out about it was by me calling them. Spoke with the service manager and explained all of this only to have another broken commitment not upheld and no call back. The cherry on top when I picked it up, the new mirror already has a scratch in it. Big surprise, the service manager and advisor were not there when I came to pick it up. I also dont know why over 40 miles were put on the vehicle when the repairs were done in house and at a body shop in town. Avoid this place.
We purchased a 2019 Fleetwood Bounder from Michael Hohl in August of this year. The sales staff could not have been friendlier and helpful through out the transaction. We took said motorhome on a two week trip to northern Idaho and Oregon. During the trip, the shower pan leaked, the living room slide scraped and ripped the floor tile in several places, one of the leveling jacks started leaking hydraulic fluid, and numerous other minor issues surfaced. We returned from our trip, contacted Michael Hohls RV service department in order to have the above mentioned items repaired. We dropped the motorhome off near the end of August. We were told it would take a few weeks to fix the broken/inoperative items repaired. In September, my wife received a call from one of the service departments employees inquiring if we wanted the windshield repaired as it was cracked and if we were going to contact our insurance company to file a claim. My wife pointed out that we delivered the motorhome to them with an intact windshield. She was then told to disregard and that Michael Hohl would take care of it.I received a call yesterday, 11/21/19, from the Warranty Manager stating our motorhome was ready to be picked up and all repairs had been made. Mind you our motorhome had been at Michael Hohl for over THREE months!I went to Michael Hohl Rv this morning to inspect my motorhome prior to taking it home. Much to my surprise, it was in fact not ready!!! The rubber gasket that is supposed to be installed around the outside of the windshield was missing!!! I declined to accept the motorhome and asked the service employee how much longer it was going to take to get the repairs made. She said the window gasket was ordered and should be here within the next two weeks!!!I left Michael Hohl and later called Fleetwood Customer Service to see if they could be of assistance. The customer service rep researched our warranty history and noted that warranty repair requests werent filed with Fleetwood until the middle of October! In other words, our Motorhome sat on Michale Hohls lot from the end of August to the middle of October before any work was done on it! Its November 22nd, and its still not fixed!! WTF??This place is horrible, if I had to do it all over again, I would of purchased from a dealer in Reno. Now we are stuck with this service center as there are no other Fleetwood authorized repair facilities in Northern Nevada! I would encourage anyone thinking of buying a RV from this dealership to go elsewhere!! They really suck!!!
Carol had all my paperwork ready ahead of time. Easy place to leave my travel trailer all ready for me. Popular place for service. They wont be able to look at it for a week!
When I walked in the guy was too busy playing on the computer took him a few minutes to even acknowledge that was standing right there in front of him and the prices are pretty high so I went down to the other RV place had better luck there
Overall pleadent experience. We went in with zero experience with RVs of any type and Daryl was very helpful and friendly.
Janette made our experience quick and painless. Got us the perfect 5th wheel for our needs and was helpful and friendly throughout the process. I highly recommend shopping with them for your rv/trailer.
Got a hard to find heated water hose for my RV 15 feet for 182.00
Didnt buy. Overpriced. The same rv was available for 10000 less somewhere else. Friendly service
In 2015 I tried Sprads... lousy communication, 6 months to deliver work they said would be done in 2 weeks, and by the spring they were begging me to get my RV off their lot so they could make room for more inventory... even though they had not finished repairs! In 2016 I tried Sierra RV. 4 months to deliver work they said would be done in 2 weeks. Shoddy repairs, cheap-o parts, high employee turnover, and again they resorted to threats for pickup even though delays were on their end.FINALLY I found great service with Service Manager Miguel and Service Tech Jordan at Michael Hohl RV. Jordan took the time to walk through my RV punchlist and help me think through the best fixes for each little problem. They turned the RV quickly and Jordan even built a winterizing fluid intake siphon hose to make seasonal winterizing easy for me. At pickup he took the time to walk through the repairs and better train me on some maintenance items (see pictures). His repair work was top quality, as were the replacement parts they used. AND their labor rates are more competitive than the Reno service centers.Id give Michael Hohl RV Service 6 stars if I could... finally a competent RV service center in the Reno-Carson-Tahoe area!
Great RV service center. Friendly folks with technicians that know their stuff. Busy place but made space in their schedule to do the service on my 5th wheel.
My experience was very good from start to finish very professional and kind peaple very happy 5
Everyone was nice enough but it seems they could be more knowledgeable on the products they carry in the parts department.
Had some warranty work on my motor home and they got right on it. Did a good job. Only 4 stars cause they did not a big building to pull my coach in to.
I had my rv in there shop for months waiting to have warranty work done. They kept calling saying parts are in to bring down are rv however it was sitting in front of their shop. Finally when we got it back they had hit the whole front of it moving it around and failed to mention it until we came to pick it up on our way out of town with it. I had to get management involved to get it taken care of. Only half of the work that was suppose to be done was actually done. Now a year later the things they did fix are falling apart and they will not cover it since its out of warranty. Apparently they don’t guarantee or warranty their own work and refuse to fix it the correct way.
Sharon was very quick to find what I needed. Very polite and attentive, great asset for us customers.
Well look at a trailer one day went back the next day it sold than look at one and said all be back at noon the next day and they sold it after I said all be back to get it .so I can say grab it right than and there ..very good at what do selling and not promising to hold but now I know now..they also asked me to go look at there other lot on the other side of town, that was a big NO so they very friendly and caring just grab it on the spot.
Service was great! Jackie is very friendly. Client - focused employee.
Friendly non pushy sales staff.
Always a good experience. Very helpful people. I enjoy coming back.
Always excellent service from parts. Thanks for all your help.
Was able to get all done with one stop.
Sharon has been very nice to me for 5 years.
Knowledgeable, knew exactly what part I needed, but prices are exorbitant.
Great service hands down! Keeps me coming back and all the products I need.
Stopped in to look for an accessory for my RV but being a small store they did not have it in stock although they said they could order it being I could wait for it I just ordered it online.
What a joke- hope that Neil, the new service manager, can straighten this place out. What terrible service.
Went there to buy parts for our cabover camper, they kept losing our list of items we needed. We went somewhere else for our parts.
I have bought 1 car and 1 truck for the Michael Hole Auto Center and have had a good experience with them, I went to look at a motor home at there RV center now my attorney as advised me not to deal with them they are trying to strong arm me in to buy a motor home say I sign a contract with them, why would I sign a contract saying I would buy it with a loan deal set on my home I was told I could put down $2,500 none refundable to hold it, Now Milk says I have to buy buy .
Always a polite reception
Nice salesman.
Have a great assortment of parts
Poor service, after 5 weeks we have our RV back with 2 of 3 issues resolved. Wouldnt have thought it would take that long to fix.
Good service for now
