Less than thrilled. I custom ordered a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon from this dealership. When I picked it up, it had a dent in the door. Everything was documented at the time and I was assured a mobile dent removal specialist would be scheduled to come to Reno (where I live) to remove the dent. Well, six months later and I still have the dent. The salesman who promised to set up the dent removal has stopped responding to emails.
I love this place they always take care of us, I purchased my car there in 2017 and any time I need an oil change I go there, there has been only a few times that I needed any other type of service, so when I did, I took my car there, they have great customer service, especially Jessica, shes amazing, I definitely recommend this place 😊

Talked to the sales rep, went down there and walked out with it that day.There was no pressure on the sale (although I was pretty clear that I wanted to walk out with one). Down to earth individual and will get you in what you need.They worked with me on price a bit but of course did not give the house. Went through the fast lane service feature to get oil changed on our 2020 2500. Took about 90 minutes for service to be done. No issues or problems, everything went smoothly.
I am extremely disappointed with how they didn’t honor a price I received on the internet from them. I was looking to purchase a truck from them today that I had been quoted the night before off the internet. I had the quote and certificate for the truck which was listed on their site. I was emailed that the truck might have a deposit on it. Ashley said she would check with management but failed to email or call me. I then called her which I received her voicemail. She then emailed me back that the truck did have a deposit and not to waist my time in coming down. They at no time offered to order another truck for me. Not the way to earn someone’s business with no phone calls or trying to honor the price on another truck. I wouldn’t recommend contacting this dealership for anything!
In looked at all jeep dealerships within a 500 mile radius for a jeep gladiator. All of the other dealers are marking them up 5 to 10 thousand dollars. Then, i checked out Carson city jeep. Not only did they not mark up their pricing, but they are a pleasure to deal with. My salesman was Rod, he was fast, friendly, courteous and accommodating. In addition to Rod, i worked with a sales manager named Tito. He was no bs, got straight to the point and did exactly what he said he would do. Lastly. Chelsea the finance manager was fast and friendly. No high pressure sales tactics with her. I wouldnt buy a car anywhereb else, that is unless you like being jerked around by other high pressure sales tactics that other dealers employ. Thanks again Rid,Tito, and Chelsea

I was in need of a new Car and upon choosing a Jeep Grand Cherokee as the one. I started searching for the color and options I wanted. I had called a dealer in another town close to where I live and spoke to a salesman and told him what I wanted he never called me back. After calling Carson Jeep I got a hold of Ruben in Sales. I told him I wanted to buy this car and did not want to sit in a dealership for 6 hours. He got me all of the information in advance. We were able to work out the financing prior to driving to pick up the car. He had the car washed and fueled and was waiting for us and even though we were early, He accommodated us. This was the easiest car purchase I have ever made. Ruben knows his product, Listens to his customers and made the process very seamless. I would highly recommend you call and ask for him.

They did not remove theGPS sensor for their lot so Ive been driving around with it beeping and not my car not wanting to start because of their negligence. also after I bought the car there I got telemarketing spam calls constantly I also noticed that my other review is not shown. Seems theyre all paid advertising now a days. I would not buy my car here again they did not remove the sensor and Ive heard from my dealership that they do this regularly as other vehicles have had serious issues being stranded in the middle of nowhere because they have some sensor from their dealership that they didnt remove!

I was recently there 12/21 to get my manifold studs done on my 14 Durango R/T since 4 were busted. they were very busy, they had a line of cars lined up for services. I have to say this has been the best experience I’ve came across at a dealership, everyone was professional and very friendly. They got the studs done and recalls done and did a inspection in a day and a half. The gentleman I worked with (arnulfo) was a great guy very friendly and professional. Brought in for an oil change and tire rotation.... Never filled my low tire and after the tire rotation... My rear left tire was still low ... They kept my lock lug... I had to go back for my lug ...Im not sure my tires even got rotated.I checked under neath to see if they actually change the oil and my oil drain screw still lined up to factory chalk line.Would not recommend the service department at all

My girlfriend was looking all over for a new silver diesel rubicon, and they had one! Dan was excellent to work with, very professional, friendly and informative. Not upset with the dealership, it’s mostly with Chrysler. I noticed a missing bolt from my front light assembly. So I went to take my 2018 Ram 2500 in for warranty work. It was explained to me that missing parts are not covered by Chrysler. The mechanic not only just noticed 1 bolt missing, but all bolts from the front lamp assembly were missing. So now I must pay $84 out of pocket because Chrysler won’t cover their product.

I was there today I spend nearly 40 m walking around looking at all the jeeps and trucks when to all the sections and NO ONE I MEAN NO ONE EVER CAME AND ASK IF I NEED IT HELP so disappointment Im from carson city and I was ready to buy a car today didnt want to go to reno lithia just cause I want to buy local..And was a couple other people looking at cars and no one ever came out at all.. thats a really bad service!!!

It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had and he was very very busy too. I still felt that he really cared about my satisfaction and happiness with my decision. Made a me a great deal without any pressure or haggling. I was informed of a trade in vehicle, 2012 Jeep Wrangler, Call of Duty edition, had just got in. I was also recommended to contact Dan Dunham in sales. Today I called Dan and told him I was interested in looking at this vehicle and possibly purchasing it. He thanked me for going through him and said hed be happy to help.My son and I drove 42 miles, from my work in Reno, all the way to Carson Dodge. Dan was finishing up on some paperwork which allowed me to set my son up on the WiFi to continue his school work. Once Dan was done he walked me back to the service department where the Jeep was being detailed. The front windshield was cracked and the driver side rear bumper was scratched and damaged along with the wheel. The inside looked worn, which I expect from a 2012, and that was all I saw of the Jeep.We then went over to my vehicle to get the registration, insurance and mileage. Back at his desk we proceeded to file for the paperwork. He wrote 34,000 + on the paperwork and said I would need to put cash down and my car payment would be a lot more than what is is now.I have a 2017 Jeep Compass with 89k miles. It had high miles when I bought it from the dealership in 2018.I said to Dan Im not wanting to pay 34k for that Jeep with damage and repairs needed. Id like to see if 20k is a good starting number. He said he couldnt help me, but hed go ask. I had my credit on lock mode and when Dan came back he informed me of such. Then he added that he really would not be able to go below 31k. I unlocked my credit and it was run immediately, then Dan said he couldnt help me at all. Id have to have Perfect credit in order to get a loan on an older Jeep. I received an alert that my credit was pulled and Dan said he couldnt help me, and that he shouldve spoken more with me prior to me driving all this was.Thing is...I was ready to trade in my Jeep. I did all the research on this vehicle and pulled the CarFax via VIN on their website. The Kelly Blue Book puts most Jeep Rubicons in the 21-26k price range for 2012. Not only was poor customer service given, extremely poor, I was dismissed like a lost cause. I then mentioned I have $ to put down and wanted the opportunity to work out a deal, but since I was treated so poorly Id rather go to another dealership. When I asked him why he pulled my credit when he knew he wasnt going to work with me, he just brushed me off again.I was happy to leave given the poor customer service! Ive purchased from Lithia Subaru, Reno Toyota, Carson Valley Motors. Never once was I treated this poorly. I do not recommend wasting your time with this salesman.
Just a little suggestion: whoever handles your TV ads should advise the brunette, doing the ads, that shes mispronouncing Nevada. Its obvious shes not from this State! Thats it, no worries!

This is a great dealership. We live in Sparks. We needed some work done on our truck. My husband called the Don Weir dealership in Reno. Left a message, twice! Finally someone called back and essentially talked my husband out of bringing our truck in. They wanted to keep it for a week!!! Seriously? So, we called this dealership. They listened to what my husband had to say, we got an appointment the next day. The truck is new to us and the Service person took time to explain things to us. That was AWESOME!!! While we have to travel down to Carson City it is totally worth it! Customer Service is great at Carson Dodge and so is the work done on our truck. Thanks!!

The sales and service department have been great especially in comparison to their competition in Reno. Bought 1 of our 2 Dodge/Ram vehicles here and take both of our vehicles here for service. This should of been of a 5 star rating but for some reason I never received a call back leaving several voicemails when I tried to purchase tires and had to purchase elsewhere. Other than that they have done what I needed done to my vehicle and made the appropriate recommendations.
I purchased a 4WD Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealer several years ago and paid a few hundred under $50,000. My purchase included a Maximum Care Lifetime Wrap (lifetime service agreement). When I was negotiating the price with the sales manager John Graham, he gave me a copy of this Lifetime Wrap Plan and pointed out and highlighted what was covered. He specifically highlighted the wording under the heading When Plan Coverage Starts and Ends which says Plan coverage starts on the date you purchase the plan. and The plan ends upon the death of that purchaser or retail lessee or upon the transfer or sale of the vehicle.There was no mention by Mr. Graham of any mileage or time limitation in the Plan. To the contrary, Mr. Graham repeatedly emphasized that the contract was good at any Jeep dealer and the Plan coverage was for the lifetime of my ownership. Mr. Graham attached that Plan to the sales contract that we both signed and I consider that Plan and his representations to be part of the contract.Among other representations and promises which were made to induce me to purchase, I was also promised that they had an excellent service department, excellent customer service and whenever I brought my Jeep in for any service, whether it was for preventive maintenance or repairs, I would be given a free loaner. Because I lived in the mountains the loaner was promised to be 4WD vehicle in the winter when snow was expected.I have had well over 90% of my service work done at this dealership since I bought it and I have never before had any problems getting a loner, all I had to do was give them copies of my drivers license, insurance and sign a loan agreement that basically said I was responsible for any damage. I have a bunch of these in my file. If they were out of loaners, which did happen on rare occasion, they would always reserve a rental car at a reduced rate. To ensure a loaner was available, I could schedule my service and reserve a loaner. On the one or two times when I needed a tow, they were more than happy to arrange it. Apparently they have relationships with local towing companies that they trust to give prompt, quality tows. I would pay the tow truck driver and then give them my receipt and I would get a check in the mail to reimburse me.A few days ago in the late afternoon my Jeep developed a coolant leak which sprayed coolant all over the engine compartment and onto the street and caused the check engine light to came on. I called at 5:30 to reserve a loaner and arrange for a tow truck in the morning because they were about to close. Surprisingly, I was told that they dont provide loaners and they dont arrange for towing! I called early the next morning and they again refused to arrange for a tow, refused to provide a loaner and refused to reserve a rental. I then called Lithia and a tow truck arrived in 15 minutes! Lithia also reserved a rental car for me. When I got off of my call with Lithia, Carson Dodge called me back and told me that they would make a one time exception to their no loaner policy. I let them know that they were too late.Its getting to be time to purchase a new vehicle but I seriously doubt that I will even bother to check out what Carson Dodge has to offer. It falls under the heading of screw me once shame on you, screw me twice shame on me.UPDATE. I called Service Manager Don Radtke twice at the phone number. He wasnt available either time so Ieft a message for him to call me. It has been a week since my last call, so far no callback.
We were traveling and our Dodge Ram 2500 had a DEF warning appear. Sent the truck into DEF mode the 2nd time on our trip. John Mantkus was our service advisor and got the truck right in, set us up with a rental and kept us posted on the status in regular communication. Ended up having to replace the DEF tank. We are now hooking up our trailer and heading home! Thank you to the mechanic that figured out the issue!!

I called Carson Dodge, they scheduled, repaired, And provided me a loner vehicle! Both times! I now take my truck to them Every time I need Anything done, technical, or service! Great service. Drove me home while truck was being worked on and then picked me back up when truck was done. I live 15 miles from dealership. So they drove about 60 miles. Thats appreciated. Their sales staff is also good at what they do. Pleasant, professional and NOT pushy like the Dodge dealer in Reno. Overall, a well run dealership.
Went and purchased a brand new car sales guy was great. Had a recall done and they don’t know what they were doing. Wouldn’t recommend anyone there. They never return calls and let alone the service manager “Don” he’s just as bad as the service department very bad service I regret going to make 50k purchase and being treated like S**t.
This place was amazing! Called about an oil change for our RV while traveling, and they have a quick change service and were able to accommodate us right away. Nicest staff, allowed us to take our dogs into the waiting area, checked in on us by text, and we were done in no time. Would definitely return!
The Service Department is awesome! Tom K, Senior Advisor treats you like family. I have taken my Charger here several times and each time Tom and staff have treated me great. I cant say enough positive about the Service Department. They are what other dealerships Service Departments want to be.
I have to admit it was a rocky start, but nothing makes me feel more confident about a business than when they reach out and go the extra mile to ensure any concerns are fully resolved. The service department really proved that they cared and wanted to work for my business. That is the kind of service I will return for and recommend friends and family do as well. Went in for an open recall on my Challenger and it was done within 45 minutes. Apparently one of my headlights was out (that Im 99% sure I would have noticed prior to taking it in) after it was finished. Weird.
We bought my Jeep Wrangler 3 years ago. We had such a great experience from the minute we walked in the door. This positive experience still carries through today. We take my Jeep in for every oil change, check up and service. Everyone at Carson Dodge is polite, kind, respectful and professional from the top dogs all the way down the line. We are completely satisfied with our Carson Dodge experience. I have recommended Carson Dodge to all my family and friends.
Always a good experience. We didnt come to an agreement of final price but we tried. In the past I did buy a brand new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler from them and got an excellent price from James.
Michael Kirchner and team took GREAT care of us. We are out-of-towners and were towing a large RV with our 2014 Dodge Diesel pickup. Late one evening the check engine light came on. We only had reservations for one more night in town and then needed to move on to our next destination. At 7:30 am, we showed up at the Service desk to ask for assistance in figuring out the issue. Michael indicated that they would at the very least diagnose the problem and then determine what they could do to help. Our diesel catalytic converter had gone bad. Thankfully they had one in stock and while we did not have an appointment, he said that if we could leave it for the entire day they would figure out a way to work us in so that we could again be on our way. They delivered as promised, and in addition took care of a recall and software update! It was the BEST service we have ever received from a dealership! THANK YOU to those who helped to diagnose and service our vehicle. It was very much appreciated!
We bought our Jeep here back in 2013. Had a good buying experience then. And more recently needed the dealer service department for an airbag issue. Staff has always been very friendly, and their service department was great! I will definitely recommend Carson Dodge to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, or have service done!
We were getting service engine at dealer on our 4 wheel drive diesel truck. The we were pulling our travel trailer and had both dogs with us and oh yeah we were from Oregon. We made it to one of our destinations Verdi Nevada. We had less than 100 miles before truck would shut down according to warnings. The reviews for Reno Dodge for out of state people wasnt good. I called Tom at Carson Dodge and he said bring it in. They took care of the problem and helped out on other questions and issues within 2 hours. Great attitude and Service.
Good service starts from the time you arrive till your service work is done. All employees are cordial and friendly, and the servicing is done quickly and efficiently. And a multi-function coffee/Expresso machine in the waiting room is a bonus!

As far as mechanics, and service stations for tour vehicle goes - this is hands down the best. We were in a pickle, drive from la to Reno when the check engine light came on and our car started struggling/ rumbling when it was in a low rpm. No mechanics could look at it before Monday given that it was Friday at 4. We had to be home Sunday, so we kept searching. Luckily, someone in Reno recommended these guys and they saved our lives! Not only were they able to squeeze us in, hook us up with a rental, but they got it fixed Saturday AM ! Talk about a rarity. Im beyond grateful they were able to help us out and the customer service was excellent also. Highly, highly recommend

Sales team needs to cover sales 101. Really poor experience trying to buy .a new Jeep from these guys. Any email query took a day or so to respond to with 1 line answers and addressed me by incorrect name. When we finally came to actually purchasing, the sales guy walked out during final negotiations handing us over to someone else that didnt even know what vehicle we were purchasing - after 1-2 hours already at the dealership. New guy continued to make the ridiculous excuses for inability to come close to matching competitor pricing for equivalent Jeeps and after all of the above we simply left and drove an hour to neighbouring dealer who were the total opposite - and we continued to conclude a purchase.Worst is that I emailed them asking for the manager to contact me so I could unpack the experience with him - obviously he never responded.
Absolutely amazing experience buying a car here, after another dealer fumbled a deal. I came a long way out of town, and Steve (General Manager) and Jared (Salesman) stepped in, picked up where the other dealer fumbled, and made it happen.Everything they committed to doing for me, was exactly the same when I arrived. Numbers and everything were spot on, and there was absolutely no funny business. These guys were simply awesome. I was in and out in 10 minutes (paperwork done in advance), they had my car waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. This was the best car buying I have ever had, and I really think this is how every new car purchase should be. Special thanks to Robert who also helped get me in and out as quick as possible.Job well done!
