Dont go here. Buy your phones from Costco or best buy. If they arent receiving commission from you they could care less about you. Wouldnt even give me any sort of guidance on my broken phone because I wasnt the main person on the account, even though I knew the login and my name is on the account, just not the main one. Basically told me to leave. Will never go back under any circumstance.
Made an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. The sales clerks were very helpful as I was upgrading from an old flip phone to a Google Pixel phone and had little knowledge of a current smart phone. They activated my new phone with no problems, answered all my questions and had me back on my way home in less than 30 minutes. Awesome service.
I walked into the store, which was completely empty except for two sales associates. I said I have a question about my phone, and the woman immediately said you need to have an appointment. She was curt and rude. I said I just have a question and theres nobody else in the store right now. She said Im going on my break and that will only leave one person on the floor. And turned around and walked away. As a person whos had Verizon as a carrier for over 20 years, and has always had first class, friendly customer service, this is absolutely not acceptable.
Came in to start an account because I heard decent coverage for the area, but they needed a credit check - which seems entirely unnecessary (other online carriers dont require). They couldnt perform the soft credit check and I wasnt going to let them perform a typical credit check which would lower my credit score. Took about 45mins before I felt like this was taking way too much of my time when I just left and went to online carrier.
The staff was rude and didnt seem to know anything nor have anything in stock. Not a lot of people there and I waited for 20 minutes before even being acknowledged. I will NOT be going back ever. The best buy in Soquel is awesome though, they have most Verizon products and actually know their job.
Great selection and clean store. This review is based on customer service or lack there of. Very unfortunate because they are normally very attractive in the past.
TERRIBLE! They cant handle customers with only one representative working all day apparently and are extremely rude about it. Disband this location! I wanted to upgrade service and phone and the bouncer wouldnt let me in. Maybe change service providers if you have that option.

Great folks working there, very friendly and great at communicating. Waiting was convenient, I was able to wait in my car until they texted me when it was my turn. This location is my go-to Verizon location in all of Santa Cruz county.
As far as Verizon stores go this one is somewhat subpart but it is the only actual Verizon store in the Area so if you are a Customer you will end up having to come here at least once I suspect.
I just went in to get a new SIM card for my new phone. The employees practice COVID-19 safety, so if you arent willing to wear a mask, dont go. I personally appreciate their focus on keeping the customers and themselves safe.Appointments are recommended but not required. The employee who helped me (Nico) was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, and just a nice guy. After installing the SIM card with me watching, I was in and out of there in ten minutes. I dont write a lot of reviews, but when I get service like this, Im compelled to. Another reason to choose Verizon. Thank you!
ZERO star would be the best definition!!! Did Not care at all about the costumers...Worst than DMV !!!Someone at the door to get our name right way and over hour and ten minutes waiting to get help. The hosted said it was 4-5 people waiting ahead of me. The 2 or 3 workers walked by us, many times, socializing and totally ignoring us. The store was almost empty and took them one hour and 10 minutes to get help. I had complain (what i dont do often but after been ignored for over an hour) and had to find help from the hosted person, that said she was new and she was going to try to help us. We only need a SIM Card what took her a 5 min for find one. It was a totally disrespect to costumers. I have been with Verizon for over 10 years and might change my plan after this. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Except if you have extra time to waist !!
Had a problem with my phone that the on line tech could not resolved. But I got great help got my phone operating and some tips for better management. Love this store.

I made an appointment on line, arrived a few minutes early, and checked in on my phone; all according to the directions given on the website. I received a response message on my phone indicating I had checked in and they would be with me shortly. 30 minutes later, I approached the line that was forming, identified myself and my appointed time only to be told I had not, in fact, checked in. According to Nico, my phone must not have synched with their system. (?) Nico offered to get me in as soon as possible. The question is, why create a system and not use it?Very poor customer treatment.

Went there for a billing problem, because the two times I called Verizon they said they fixed it, but I was still getting bills. So our first 3 months with Verizon, they already show they are incompetent. Tried this shop, and associate said all they do is sell products, they dont deal with billing and services. ?!?!?! Its Verizon, do they just hire bodies to push their products? I have to hold on the phone for 45 minutes to an hour, to talk to someone, who cant see my problem, let alone help me. Will be leaving after our two years with this hands off company. Maybe sooner if I see another charge for something our plan said is free. Update: I was asked to reach out, so sent an email, it has been a couple weeks, not surprised, no reply.
Went to get a new phone. Manager was only person there, said he had to be on a management call and would text us when he was done, maybe 20-40 minutes. 2 hours later still no call or text. Is there a minus stars option?

I’ve been in and out of this store 3 times in the past week to resolve an issue. Each time the story is the same - a person is there to greet you right away and then there is a 30 minute minimum wait. For example, today we arrived at 10:30 am (weekday) and there is only one person working the floor with 9 people ahead of us. Perhaps if you schedule an appointment, the service is good. However, this store needs to be better prepared for walk-ins. Looks like they didn’t change anything like they said they would in response to the last negative one star review regarding long wait times. The service is generally good once they can find time to help

I had to duck in to receive a SIM card I ordered online. The staff was quick and pleasant, knew exactly what they were doing.
I was helped nearly the moment I walked in. The woman was very quick & efficient. She was also happy & professional. The store was very large with a great variety of merchandise. I will definitely visit this store for future needs.
This was the corporate store on 41st Street. they didnt want to be bothered helping me though they did. They seem to want to move on to people who wanted to buy things rather than people who needed help. It is, however, Im more comfortable Verizon store if one has to wait for service

Large store, very knowledgeable staff. My parents and I went to this store to switch from Credo. We signed up for the unlimited family plan, we all left happy with a newly activated phone with the same numbers. Process was easy and quick and the friendly staff answered all of our questions without any issues. No complaints here.
Great Customer service
The staff are not completely honest when they help you so be careful. One team member told me I couldnt switch my tablet line to a phone line and instead had to create a new line and pay the activation fee then cancel the other line. After I did this I called phone Support and they informed me that this is possible and most likely the employee recommended I do it that way so he could get a bigger commission.

My service was great for 2 1/2 years, but for some reason I became a target for them. I used to have a certain rate for 2 GB of data. For no reason whatsoever it went up. I was paying extra for insurance, but every time they told me I didt have any. Ive been into 3 different stores, including one in Washington, and every time I received the worst help and the attitude that they thought I was a complete waste of their time. The rep at this store even told me to go call customer service for help. Why did I drive here if they werent going to do their job? When I asked for an explanation of why my bills changed even though nothing else did, no one could give it to me. When I lost my phone, they didnt inform me that I could use Find My Phone, they just said oh well! I ended up getting billed $110 each month for 4 GB of data. Paying the $250 early term fee was well worth it. The moment they start pulling stunts on you, run!
Terrible customer service at this Capitola store. ZERO STAR for this store if I could rate. The store is not even busy at all this morning, they had more customer Services Representatives at the floor than actual customers but they just let each customers wait for a LONG time without checking on them. One customer wanted to get an estimated wait time since she has been waiting for a while, no one helps her. no one can tell her the estimated waiting time. I waited for more than 30 minus for a very simple service (getting a return package from the store to return my old iphone 6). The guy asked me to wait there and then he disappeared. A few other customer service reps were at the floor but they were chatting something with each other and completely ignoring the waiting customers at the store. I finally left without the service. Verizon takes so much effort to gain new customers, this store poor customer services can easily loose all the customers. The store manager is doing poor job to manage the store.
I was asked to wait in line behind 8 other people (that we’re buying phones etc... LONG purchases) to make a simple return of a phone case purchased at this store. This is more an issue with Verizon in general. They should have someone available to help can with quick needs.
The staff did not communicate with one another. I have been dealing with a fraud issue. I had to go to this store to get a phone. The lady I worked with was awesome! She waited with me on the phone after hours for over an hour while the fraud department left us on hold for over 1.5 hours. Her manager ended up shutting down the register so I ended up having to come back and buy my phone the next day. The fraud department never took care of my claim after sending me 2 letters via mail confirming they did. Typical big phone company garbage.The rep from the store had to confirm 3 different times via web that the fraud was not taken off my bill and I had to continue to push the fraud department on the phone to tell them it still is not right, I am looking at my account real time with your rep in a store who says it still is not right. Wow... All in all that the rep in the store deserves a gold star. Unfortunately she was the only one. Her manager and organization let me down.

They are fine. Typically I need to wait my turn to get help. I get weary of hidden fine print and being upsold phone accessories but I understand the employees are just following a script. If you need hands on help figuring out a problem they are excellent.
After waiting for 45 minutes with two people ahead of me. I decided to come back another day so I decided on Saturday. BIG MISTAKE while waiting for an hour I decided to read the reviews for this store. There were more complaints than good reviews and the manager continued to respond to the complaints with canned responses, so while waiting I decided to check out T-Mobile. T-Mobile picked up the phone immediately with a real person on the other end of the line. If you call Verizon you get a robot that asks you for your pin # and you wait again! If you dont know your pin# you are out of luck. T-Moble not only picks up but tells you how long your wait is at their store- it was 10 minutes! So I left Verizon for the last time to get an identical plan from T-Mobile for LESS than HALF THE PRICE of Verizon. Jose at T-Mobile was available in 20 minutes and was so accommodating and efficient. Now were on T-Mobile and Im extremely happy with their service. LET YOUR FEET DO THE VOTING!ONE MONTH LATEROK, My tail is between my legs! After one month of T-Mobile I sadly discovered that their coverage map is bogus. No coverage in Capitola village, no coverage in south county or Hollister. Verizon is way better! After talking to a friend who is a Verizon cable installer I learned that I can avoid the long lines and poor service at Verizon stores by going to BEST BUY. There was NO WAIT and they are just as competent as the Verizon people at the Verizon stores. So I have to say they have the BEST coverage and the WORST customer service .
Phones sold out, customer service is slow, prices are high. Bought a Pixel XL on Thanksgiving and havent heard back from them in 5 weeks. Not sure if theres anything good to say about the experience.

Once I bought my phone, there was zero customer service. I went back to get help with my new iPhone X, and the person at the door was rude and uninterested in helping me or getting another staff person to help me. I highly recommend the APTOS VERIZON STORE as an alternative--small, but they provide great customer service.

Lengthy wait ( double the time they told me), and I kept feeling like I was just someone they wanted to oversell to. Nothing personal or pleasant about the experience. And, while I love my Google phone, Verizon is sneaky. They offered a discount but ONLY if I paid in 24 installments, to keep me locked in to their service! For two more years. Plus their phone trade in offers almost nothing and they sneak in other fees. I always feel like Im being lied to, covertly, but still lies. Im stuck with them for now because if I try to pay it off early, I get charged the whole amount( it voids the sale). Sneaky, ripoff, greedy corporation.
They get their hooks into you and Squeeze! I asked for help and was jerked around,lied too. So I went someplace else for Service and got better service for a lot less buck!

Most incompetent people Ive ever dealt with in my whole life. No help, just found ways to take money from me. Had to wait on a electronic list, Took over 2hrs to see someone. Never resolved any issues I had spent total of 5hrs in store! The store wasnt that busy either. Stay away from here! Switch to another carrier.
Ive had or tried AT&T, Sprint, & one other I cannot remember, and Verizon is the least expensive and best ever service.

Terrible customer service! If I could give zero stars I would. They are so rude and arrogant in this store. I went in there to cancel a line with them and waited at least an hour to have them tell me I needed to go to the carrier I was switching to, to get my number pulled and the line cancelled. They could have told me the first time I told them why I was there! Not to mention the loop holes they make you jumo through anytime you need to do anything there! The general manger Bryan or whatever his name was. The fat balding guy with glasses was a incompetent prick with his head shoved so far up his ass that he couldnt tell up from down! I am so sick of the customer service with verizon and the outrageous bills!
Terrible support by a morose individual who failed to fix the technical issue although he claimed it was fixed. It is not, so not only was he unpleasant, he was also incompetent.

Verizon is awful when it comes to fixing billing mistakes. If you need anything other than a new device expect to get the run around for weeks to resolve issues. No one knows what to do if something is being charged out of mistake and how to refund the billing issue. The only reason I stay with Verizon is because its the best overall coverage.

Ive had cell service from Verizon for more than 10 years, along with phone service from another provider. But after a power surge, the network extender had to be replaced. Still had problems, and finally decided to switch my phone carrier to see if that would make a difference. Went into the store and specifically asked to be switched to VERIZON phone service. Thats what I asked for, so was I ever surprised to have Comcast show up. Returned to the store to ask about it and was rudely told by the manager that they refer everyone to Comcast, period. No apology for misleading me. And, since its again two companies who are arguing about whose equipment is causing me to have no cell service inside my home, Im back to square one.
