The prices arent great but they are competitive. So if youre a parent who has a gamer (or up and coming gamer) you can be sure that this place will have all your current system needs and you wont be saving much, if any, money by purchasing from Amazon or something. Plus, the employees are always reliably nerds who know everything there is to know about every console and every game EVER put out.And it is totally worth buying into the Gamestop member plan. It literally pays for itself on the very next visit, either in-store or online. Plus the membership offers all sorts of nerdy stuff that gamers love, including myself.

When you have a child who found stuff on the clearance rack and is told it is not on saleOk if it was only one item there where multiple items and there still on the clearance shelf this next vist and not on clearance.Other than that.The staff was friendly and helpful.

Best store around for games for buying and selling and for getting information on the games and information on the systems that you buy they have information text support also since GameStop owns ThinkGeek they sell a lot of the merchandise that they sell gaming merchandise in the store which is rather nice so you can buy it here and not having to pay the shipping cost to get it having to wait so if you looking for presents for your family check out their store also wonderful gift for your kids are the gift cards so they can buy their games with these gift cards and if youre not sure ask the works they can give you the information you need about the games. Employees are Gamers also so they enjoy games so they enjoy selling and helping people so theres no pressure

Nice location at decent plaza. Good selection of new and used games. Friendly staff who knows their job well. Courtney helped me with some used games I wanted to buy. If I will come back to Santa Cruz again I will definitely stop by here.

WOW 😮 Gamestop I think it is time for this company too closes its door 🚪 for good, this is not the 1st time I have order a game from this company for years and I had this happen too me 2years ago. On June 19 2020 I had order another game F1 2020 that is scheduled too be released on July 10 2020, since this Corona Visus is among us, It was cool they offer curb side pick up at all location. So on June 19 2020 I order my new game too be pick up. Today July 9 2020 I get a notification from Gamestop said they had ship my game too my location instead of calling me and asking me do I prefer shipment or pickup from store location. I then try too call the store I was supposed too pick up my game multiple time on their website stated the store closed at 6pm California time where Im from. So Gamestop u guys are not loyal too ur customers, well at least too me u not nice too.1 angry 😡 😡 unsatisfied customers 😡

Love the huge variety in video games and accessories that are available there. The employees are friendly and more than willing to help you find what your looking for. Its also in a great location, close to a Starbucks. They always have special offers where you can buy 4 used games for $10.00.

It was lit today, we been waiting for Mortal Kombat 11 and game stop didnt disappoint. I got a free scorpion face mask with the game. I hope they never close this location. Thank you for the great service

Walked in with the intentions of trading a couple games, no greeting or anything when I made my decision I walked up in the front the female and the guy in front were very hostile and they were implying that I stole a game, Well maybe if you greeted your customers you would see what your customers had or didnt have. Idk tho just an idea ? The way they went about it was beyond disrespectful the female has no manners she shouldnt even be in customer service with her snotty attitude, will not be coming here anymore.

Came in here on Friday December 21st at 3pm. Despite there being a rush due to Christmas shoppers, the staff was very quick and friendly. They had all the products that we were looking for and the staff also answered a few questions that we had about other products.

I like gamestop mostly for the people that tend to work there. Trade values arent great, but they always have the newest games and hardware

Closed in the middle of the day with staffing issues. Just lost $400.

I spoke to courtney over the phone for help with trading my games in, (after a less than experience with gamestop watsonville) and i got the best most patient service with a very kind attitude. She answered every question i had and was wonderful! Best game stop service hands down!

Manager was extremely helpful when Destiny: The Taken King wouldnt work on my XBOX 360. Some other employees could use some customer service training, but overall good place to fulfill your gaming needs.

This Gamestop location has your standard selection for a gaming store, but there is a distinct lack of quality inspection for their used goods. I highly recommend using Level Up downtown for your video game needs.

I went to trade in a PS4 the other day and the dud e there didnt really know what he was talking about but overall its a solid place I visit fairly frequently for my gaming needs.

Generic GameStop, good selection of games but staff like to go for the hard sell (Would you like a pro account, would you like to pre-order X, would you like to buy Y). Apart from that staff are helpful and decently priced.

Ive been coming to this game stop since I was around 5 years old. Theyve been consistantly kind and helpful over the years. Today I went in to pick up a switch game and a couple joy-con and got a free switch carrying case from someone who couldnt return it. 10/10 IGN

I have a love hate with this store. Used to be funcoland. Some of the staff is good some are very cocky and know it all. One of the old managers was amazing but they let him due to being paid too much from the old staff. He was there for years. After he was gone I could see less people came into that store. Kinda a bad call on their part. At this point I buy my games digital now to avoid going into gamestop.
