I’m wary of chain services, especially for simple things like oil changes. HOWEVER, I had a wonderful experience here and will be going back! I needed an oil change and Goodyear had same-day appointments, so I decided to go ahead. The guy in the shop was hilarious, personable, and very professional. He didn’t “find” anything else wrong with the car, which is normally what happens at bigger chains. Very impressed!
Have been taking all of our cars here since shortly after this place opened. Dave and Mike are top-notch honest and reliable. On the rarest of occasions that there is a problem with a repair, they make it right immediately. We now live 40 minutes away and continue to take our cars to them for ALL issues. We will never go anywhere else as long and Dave and Mike are there.
David, the Store Manager, was extremely helpful in assisting me with my tire issue. I am a new customer but based on this level of service and professionalism I will be back.
Excellent service and good personality all personnel.
David and Mike are fantastic! Have been going to them for 10 years. Wouldn’t recommend any place else.
David and mike are friendly and very helpful with great service and prices
Pricing is fair, but make sure they do everything. I took 3 vehicles to them over a period of a week. Lists were made of everything needing to be done to each, all lists were approved in full. All work was said to be done, but not everything was. Staff was really friendly when taking my money, but wish I hadnt wasted my time here. I am a business owner looking for a place to take commercial vehicles, Im not looking for cheap, just good and consistent. This evidently is not the place for that.
Always takes amazing care of us!
The guys here are great, nice, and fun to speak with my husband dropped his work van off to be fixed and while we checked his van in for work we scheduled a day and time to have our vehicle looked at too. I love all the detail in the work they did plus all future work that needed to be done later. They are great listeners and really fast to complete the work. I would recommend them for an oil change, updated battery work, new tires, filters, and more. They definitely are trust worthy with your automobile needs. Thanks guys.
Check prices BEFORE signing to allow them to start jobs. Not once but 3 times in as many visits have they tried to over charge my quoted price. First time was for an oil change was getting a standard oil change and was changed for the highest value oil change and in their words since the service has been done thats what you owe. Second time was for tires made an appointment that morning for that afternoon to get 4 new tires . When I arrived for my appointment Im handed a bill for double my tires prices . After many talks with the manager he gave me better tires for my original price. The third time was getting a high end oil change and showed up for an appointment to be handed a bill to start work that was almost $50 more than my quoted price. The guy at the counter basically tried to play dumb and eventually lowered the price but still was above my quoted price. I will NEEVER step foot in this store again!! 3 strikes and you are out!!!
Extremely bad service. These people are incompetent. I understand these are strong and/or harsh words but this is true. I bought tires and never received the rebate although I followed back with them 3 times. Every time I take my truck in for rotation/balancing, I have to wait at least 2 hours with an appointment to then have to return and waste another 2 hours for them to fix because the job wasnt done correctly. The funny thing... they admit to have done it incorrectly every time but no one takes ownership. If zero stars would be an option, thats what I would give them.
Friendly and professional. Communicated well and sold me the tires I needed at a fair price.
After my wifes medical procedure, we went to the car be to find we had a flat tire. I put on the spare and drove to the Goodyear Canton store. Even though they were very busy, they fixed the tire and put it back on the car very quick so I could get my wife home to rest. Thanks guys!
Great customer service! I travel over 30 miles to have my car serviced with these guys!
Really good store. I was on my way back to college when my power steering hose busted and I stopped in. They had it replaced in about an hour. Even asked if my truck needed anything else fixed while it was here and they said that there honestly was nothing else they saw wrong except that the rear shocks are still the 19 year old factory shocks and might need to be replaced soon. Very honest and helpful.
I have bought tires for both my 2005 Lexus RX 330 and my 2013 Lexus LS 460 here. The price and warranty are both excellent. Their service for tire rotation and alignment has been exceptional. I make an appointment and they are ready to go when I arrive. If I have a question or issue they handle them quickly and professionally.
Goodyear will fix/repair your tire (any brand) for free if it is repairable. My wife had a screw in her tire so I thought I would take advantage of the free repair. They were both friendly and quick. I have not had a single problem with the tire since.
I have always had fantastic, honest, professional and kind service from all of the employees here and the manager. They have never tried to sell me something I didnt need and have always been wonderful to work with. They are the only place I take my car now. I cannot say enough good things about them!
Super friendly, incredibly helpful, best service Ive received in a long time. A bit of a drive, but Id come back.
These guys are respectful, honest, and trustworthy. They will only work on the things that your vehicle truly requires. They arent like most corporate mechanics that try to squeeze every little penny they can from you. They price match local competitors as well. Hands down the best shop in Canton. Highly recommended.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Chad was at the front desk and made sure I knew what was being done, and explained anything I had questions about. Thumbs up!
We have been going to goodyear for a couple of years now and have had great service. They are very professional and take care of us every time. Will continue to go here with all our vehicles.
I came by at 5:00pm to get an oil change. They close at 6:00pm. There was no one in the lobby and their were 4 guys standing at the front counter. I told them I needed an oil change and they refused. They claimed they had no time (despite being open for another hour), and how 2 guys were about to get off. Then they told me to make an appointment for Monday. Apparently they dont want business. An oil change is about a 30-45 minute job. The worst part is how they appeared to be laughing about it. If youre open until 6:00pm then youre open until 6:00pm. It doesnt mean you turn customers away for the last hour especially on a simple job like a basic oil change. Im happy to take my business elsewhere.
Always great service/staff and straight shooters when diagnosing your vehicles.
I didnt have an appointment and the store was extremely busy but they took care of me and fixed my brakes. Great service!
Ive always had good service with fair pricing here.
No Stars -- is what I really want to give!!!!Walked in at 5:25pm - they close at 6. I had a nail in my tire and asked for a patch. One guy behind the counter immediately started moaning, then he said we have one guy working and hes working on that guys (pointed to another patron) and said we close at 6. If it isnt leaking fast can you come back tomorrow morning? I said no, because I have to be at work, without any sense of customer service he just says, sorry.Being in the service industry - I get business hours, but if you close at 6 - YOU CLOSE AT 6, you do not brush potential customers away and if you do - at least show some compassion. And for the record I am in the market for 4 new tires. I guess I owe the gentleman behind the counter a warm Thank You for showing me where I do not need to spend my money!! I do not recommend this place - will not ever recommend this place!!!!
I have been going here for 8 years now and have had nothing but the best experience One of the managers, David is wonderful. My wife has an Infinity and she prefers Goodyear in Canton over the Infinity dealership. Everyone is always looking for quality work at a fair price and this is the place.
Be careful. They up-sold me a second tire on the pretext that they would honor a road hazard warranty, and then said the warranty wasnt valid and I would have to pay for both tires. If they had told me up front the warranty wasnt valid, I would have gone somewhere else! While I waited, every single person who came in with a flat to be fixed was told the tire was beyond repair and would have to be replaced!
Hands down the worst place to TRY to have ab oil change or anything done at. Ive taken my work truck there three times the past month, and walked out every time. They get in no hurry for anyone, unprofessional and some are downright rude. I recommend Mr. clean any given day.
Exceptional customer service and work done to my truck. Theyre honest and hard working fellas there. Ill keep coming back
My trucks fuel pump is down and they helped make it work. The only issue was I had asked for an oil change, they had forgotten and I had to wait longer.
My experience with this Goodyear was very disappointing and I got scammed. I made 3 special trips to this Goodyear trying to get my vehicle back in correct working order. I took my vehicle in for a specific reason and repair. $1400.00 later when getting vehicle back, I still had same problem along with a new problem they created. Continued taking my vehicle in to get fixed and they wanted to keep charging me new parts/repairs. l became suspicious of this Goodyear and went for a second opinion at Tires Plus down the road. The guys at Tires Plus fixed my problem in 15 minutes and free of charge. I will never take my vehicles to this Goodyear again. Theyre a shady operation looking to swindle some $$$
Had to wait a short time, but they were great.
I have used Goodyear for many years.... From coast to coast... And grew to respect and recommend Goodyear in general... Fair, honest and always did what they said... However about a year ago I stopped using them... It all started with. a diesel Jetta that I towed in for service... They knew it was a diesel, they knew it was coming in, and yet they allowed me to bring it in only to tell me that after the large towing bill, they were really qualified to work on diesels...My F350 ( gas engine) has been in the same shop multiple times over the past five years, and up until the last few repairs when the quality of the labor began to slip, exspensvierepairs failed quickly leaving me with a less than satisfied feeling...I choosing in the future to utilize local mechanics and spend my hard earned cash some where else...
Love this location! They are very nice and know what they are doing!! Definitely coming back!
Same experience as Jacob a couple of years ago. My wifes GMC Yukon had a heat shield or baffle in the muffler that was vibrating. Took it in for an oil change and asked them to check out the rattling. They came up with a $2500 bill that included new tires, belts, and motor mounts (that was supposed to fix the rattling). The car had just hit 100K miles, so I knew it was due for the belts, and I wasnt sure about the motor mounts, so I went ahead with all of their recommendations. The rattling didnt go away.Fast forward two years and I take a gamble to get my oil changed there. 2008 Ford Focus I bought used two months ago from the dealer. They recommended new tires and an air filter. Filter wasnt that bad, and the tires have at least another 10,000 miles on them. Its a business yall....theyre here to make money. They quoted me $659 for the tires and filter. S&H Tire down the street quoted me $476. Get a quote from them, and then do some shopping around.
Great service. Got my car running perfectly !!
GOODYEAR in Canton is awesome I was having tire issue and my car was new and i had one tire that was losing air found out I had a nail in my side wall and he made sure I got a tire. David was awesome anybody needs services go to Canton GOODYEAR on Riverstone Pwy.
I scheduled my appointment several days out for 1600 on the 21st. My vehicle was checked into the service center at 1559 and there is sat for the next 32 minutes in the parking lot. At check in I was informed that the service came with a tire rotation and I requested, specifically, do not rotate my tires. So as I watched through the window I saw the technician proceed to loosen all of my lugs and remove a wheel at which point I flagged down the manager and had him call off the tire rotation that shouldn’t have been happening. From my perspective the technician started all of my lugs with an air gun rather than his hands, I was told otherwise but that’s what it looked like. None the less, my oil change, with appointment, without tire rotation took until 1737 ( 1hr. 38min.) after check in. I expected so much more for a $75 oil change and needless to say I was / am very disappointed with my first Goodyear service from Goodyear at 155 Reinhardt College Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114.
This location has lost my trust and my business. My wife and I have been using Goodyear centers for our routine maintenance and tires for over 20 years (primarily another location until we moved to this area). A few months ago, I had a flat and took it to this store to be repaired. The manager told me the tire had to be replaced because the puncture was within 2 inches of the edge of the tire, offering me two options, a Goodyear tire and another manufacturer. I chose the Goodyear.Several weeks later, my car was serviced at the dealership who called to advise me that the Goodyear replacement was the wrong size and needed to be replaced as it was a potential safety hazard. I checked the Goodyear website, entering my vehicle make/model and it indicated that there were NO Goodyear tires compatible with my car. I took my car to the location and advised them of the situation. The person who helped me was very professional and confirmed the tire on my vehicle was the wrong size, but said the manager (the one who sold me the tire) was the only one that could authorize any form of credit for the incorrect tire. The next day, I received a call from the manager who told me that they would replace the tire and what the cost would be - the full cost of the replacement minus only the base cost of the incorrect tire. So, the total cost would have been MORE than if I had purchased the correct tire originally. After a few minutes of discussion, he agreed not to charge for installation or the TPMS kit and discount the road hazard warranty, but that was all he was willing to do.Since I needed the tire replaced it, I took it in later that same day and again spoke with the manager about the issue. Not only was he unwilling to reduce the cost he never once explained how the wrong size was installed nor offered any form of an apology. To add insult to injury, he said it would take no more than 25 minutes when it actually took over 1 hour.Unfortunately, this is not the only time we have been less than pleased with the service from this one individual. Both my wife and daughter had dealt with him over the past 12-18 months and both complained to me that he was condescending to them when trying to get them to agree to more service than they requested. [trying to up-sell additional service/items than requested]. Every other employee at the location with whom we have dealt has been polite and professional. While mistakes happen (though I dont know how you put the wrong size tire on a car when your own computer system indicates you have nothing compatible) - the least a business should do is own up to it, ask the customer what they feel is reasonable to make it right - AND - apologize. He did none of these and as a result, has lost our business forever.
My wife went in for routine oil change and was told she needed a new air filter. She agreed as it’s probably been six months since it’s been replaced. She then had to wait for over 45 minutes because they didnt have one in stock(for a Honda Civic, rare...who knew) and they had to go to where ever to get one. Then they charged her $45 dollars for the air filter. Ouch!!! We could have gotten the same air filter from any number of local auto parts store for $25. I guess it costs $20 to have it installed. I wonder, do they try this with their male customers?
I bought a pick up in Canton and was suppose to drive it to St Petersburg Florida. There where serveral problems that came up. The A/C stopped working and the fan belt was slipping. I took it to this Goodyear Store on Friday and they got the A/C working but the fan belt issue became a big problem as a wrong pulley had been installed causing the belt to not seat down in the pulley. Apparently, this truck had been in an accident and someone just put on the wrong pulley. I had to leave the truck there and return to Florida. The guys at Goodyear could have taken advantage of me very easily but to their credit they finished the job plus charge a very fair price. I have since taken the truck to Florida and it has performed very well with no more issues. These men where friendly, easy to deal with and very fair. I would recommend this Goodyear store to anyone. Thanks guys.
My husband picked up a small hex head bolt in his tire. He took it up there for a repair. He asked the store manager if they would take a look and repair it. When the store manager looked at the tire and started to pull out the bolt he said it was a 5/8 hex head and the tire could not be repaired. My husband knew it wasnt a 5/8 hex head and suspected something was up. Sure enough, he quoted $180 for a new tire. My husband said no thanks, went home, pulled out the bolt (it was a 6mm) and plugged the tire himself. After driving on it for two days he took it to S&H Tire down the road and they did a patch on the tire for $23. Dont trust these guys!!! Get a second opinion!
These guys are excellent great professionals they have been servicing our vehicles for 4 yrs and they do a great job always helpful and fair great customer service!!!!Anthony RussellLife CoachGoshen New Beginnings
Not sure about the bad reviews or reports of unprofessional behavior... These guys have never been anything but nice. Ive had multiple jobs done by them and theyve performed them all without any issue or jacked up prices. Theyve recommended numerous problems be fixed on my various vehicles because they said they would want it done on their autos. They are car people and will talk your ear off about cars if you let them. Only removing 1 star because they are always busy...
Wife took our car in to go get an oil change tires and some extra odds and ends. While I told her not to because of previous incidences with scams Goodyear likes to pull she did anyways considering an inexpensive set of tires. Weve had three Nissan Altima since they change to the CVT transmission not that that has anything to do with our issue. Heres the kicker every time I get a oil change past my warranty at Goodyear they tell me my oil cooler is either Warped or the gasket is busted, so $500 set a tires just turned into $1000. Plus they took my wife back there to treat her like an idiot and point out parts of cars that she knows nothing about. Thanks for being extremely America guys. Oh yeah and they told me that they put that I had an oil leak on my paperwork last time but yet didnt say a word about it and let me drive off the lot. Still havent found it on my paperwork
Mike is the best! He can also diagnose a transmissiom problem.
Front desk personnel were great. Took longer than expected, put wrong tires on initially, caught at checkout so they had to fix that.
Customer Service was great from the manager & 1 of the mechanics. The younger one I dont think has had quite enough experience nor has the working knowledge he seems to think he has.
The guys here do a wonderful job!
Everyone was super kind and efficient in there service.
My wife took her car in yesterday to get the oil changed. They came up with a $2500 bill of things wrong and told her shouldnt drive it until it was fixed, and that it was unsafe. We drove home from Florida the day before. She immediately took the car to Edwards Tires in Woodstock and they said that it didnt have the correct brake pads, but it wasnt a big deal and we could wait to replace them. To me, that is an unbelievable display of dishonesty and poor integrity. What more could you want from an auto repair shop?
