They let pastries rot all week. Had flies with my muffin the other day, just had the most disgusting chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) in my life, hence the review.

Ive ordered a sandwich and waited for twenty minutes. Then the staff asked me what have I ordered. He said there was no steak and I should order from him. What? I told him I ordered from the other guy and he said the other guy is a helping hand. Really? I saw the other guy speaking to you directly about my order, so you didnt hear it? What a waste of time. Ill never come here again. Totally rude and disgusting service.

Incredibly rude store staff. Plus ridiculously overpriced - compared to other supermarkets in the area. Do yourself a favor and walk an extra half mile to the Star Market nearby for groceries - your health and wallet both will thank you!Bottom line - youre pretty much paying for convenience. So unless youre snowed in with nothing to eat - recommend staying away from this place.

I dont know why the bad reviews, I go here just about everyday for lunch and the food is always good and the people are very friendly.

Theres only a handful of reasons I ever go to Verdes:1) I need breakfast and Im late to class. Verdes has pretty good hot grab and go breakfast sandwiches and burritos. I recommend the sausage croissant at ~$5 . Make sure to get a sandwich card so youre rewarded for your repeated purchases2) I want juice. Verdes has a pretty great juice selection. While overpriced, you cant beat the convenience and variety.

The staff is nice during the day but I typically go to LaVerdes at night when the meanest human being Ive met since moving to Massachusetts works. She makes me either want to cry or makes me so furious I want to drop everything Im holding and just stomp off without the stuff I want to buy. If anything else was open at 2:00 AM and as close as LaVerdes I would definitely be going there instead ... But no such place exists, and so the trap that is LaVerdes continues to sap away at my life force, making my 2:00 AM caffeine runs 10x harder than they have to be.

Awful staff. I did not know cashiers could be actively rude until I started going here. Nevermind skipping a simple hello or any form of verbal interaction, they are actively rude. Not just one, they are absolutely terrible every single time. I really hope MIT reassigns this lease, I have never met such an awful bunch of individuals as the staff at this little store. Regrettably, there are no alternatives on campus, otherwise this hole would last three months at best.

The staff is not helpful at all and are very rude. They better hire some robots, which will be much better than the current staff.

Nice little conscience store in the heart of MIT that you can stop by whenever youre visiting the campus as it has all your convenience needs.

I came in here to find some kjatana cleaning supplies but they ahd a drawer full of money in the back. the money was useful but i just need to clean my sword so i docked a star for that

Worth a stop if you need something on a quick notice and dont want to go to a bigger store. Conveniently located at the student center but definitely expensive.

Great tuna sandwiches. Pretty much the only reason I go there.
