A friend of mine told me a week ago Saturday that Minnesota home had 2 Ridgid thickness planers. My friend purchased one and I purchased one. The gentleman at the front counter let us know their policies and how their returns worked. I stopped back in the following Saturday and let the same gentleman know that someone had been running lumber with nails through the one that I purchased so the blades were in really tough shape. I was kind of in a hurry at Saturday so I let him know that I would come back this Monday which I did. The gentleman took very good care of me with the discount on my purchase where I should be able to put some new blades on the thickness planer. Kudos to that man at the front register for a job well done. He will be getting thank you gift soon.

This place used to be fun and you could find really good deals on stuff all the time. Now it has gotten HUGE and the prices are not really “surplus” prices. The items are priced equal to sale prices and some regular prices as the big box stores. I have gone in several times the last 6 months and I have found this to be the new normal here. The staff is still friendly and always says hi when you come in. I will continue to stop in here every now and then hoping to find a deal 🤞. I do like how everything is organized by use.

Great source for overstock and clearance items. Ive purchased flooring, tools, and lighting. No regrets. Fair prices. Flex track lighting was a great buy and adds a nice custom feel to our kitchen.

This place is awesome! Always finding good deals here for fixing up our homes. Just remember that all sales are final unless defective. The policy is printed on the wall when you walk in. I always see folks trying to return things when they cant!

This is an excellent place to be if you know what you have to get.. I was looking out for a furniture piece which was exceedingly expensive at ashley and got it for a value for money price here.. also on the way out there was a display only piece in excellent condition. which I got for half the price.. Before purchasing an item sign up online if you havent already by creating an online MN outlet account. you will get 10% flat off at the cashier on scanning the barcode

It was ok I guess if you have a smaller project because you have to kind of pick thru things and what they have that is it. No more boxes in back what you see is what you get. So k ow that going in it is not menards or home depot...but check it out you may find what you need.

Holy cow. Our raw edge table is 108 long and 45 wide and cost only $1600. Amazing deal.

MN Home Outlet is basically like a big treasure hunt. You never know what youre going to find. If you see something thats an amazing deal, you better grab it because it wont be there next time you stop. Ive bought tile, a mattress for my son, cabinets, a lawn mower, a TV and random tools all way below regular retail. I try and stop whenever Im driving by for a quick trip around the store. Sometimes nothing and Im out in 10 min. Other times; SCORE -Deal of the year!

It definitely has the biggest selection. Theres a small selection of furniture and TVs. Bigger selection of smaller home appliances like lights and fans. Big selection of refrigerators, laundry, dishwashers. They even have doors.

A new find for me. I know they have been around for a while...but this is now my first stop when I have any home projects! Great price on things like flooring. Interesting selection of items. Staff is friendly as well. Every check out person I have ever dealt with has been super nice!Only thing I can fault a few items I have bought there were clearly broken returns ..and the return policy I think you must return items in either 7 or 14 days? (They tell you when you are checking out...) I hate opening boxes prior to purchasing...but unless you KNOW its new...my advice is make sure you know what your buying...

Interesting place...we stopped in when we drive past head toward Menards. Quite a variety of products. A lot of scratch, dent and over stock type stuff, some prices seemed pretty high considering the damage some have (particularly furniture)...but there appeared to be a few little treasures here and there. I can see remit to swinging in there once in a while.

Its a catch as catch can situation but they always have cool stuff. you could do some home remodeling very inexpensively but youd have to be a little patient to make sure you can get all the things you need.

The prices are almost just as expensive as the big box stores. We did, however, find a nice marble top vanity and some cabinets. We also saved over $100 by signing onto a points program. Sometimes the choices are also limited

Went to buy some work benches and come back Monday to buy six wood tables. Get to the checkout line and told them about the 10% coupon for signing up. The extremely rude manager that would not help getting a dolly cart for my items said what is your email she said ok you can get 10% off next time. I said it said I could get it 10 % now . I had it in the truck. She said nope. I thought fine if you want to go out of your way to see that I dont buy 500 today and 6000 on Monday then this is what I will do. The coupon did say I could use now. I never go back. I advises anyone who would like to go and get no help and have the employes go out of there way to make you not buy go try them. You will say never again.

I bought flooring from MN Home Outlet a year ago today, and Ive been happy with the quality of the floor. When buying at an outlet store, you can expect to get a slight drop in quality, but not so here. The flooring has held up very well and we didnt find any pieces that were unusable when installing.A bonus is they semi-frequently send out decent coupons, and weve seen 20-30% off, so if you have a big purchase you want to make, that can be a lot of money.Overall, theyve got great bargains, the staff has always been cordial, and I enjoy the no-frills atmosphere where you can casually shop.

Review edit: unfortunately mnho has become too popular and the deals aren’t great anymore. They also opened up more locations to its slim pickings these days. Management is less inclined to work with customers on prices too.They also sold me a light fixture that had an open recall on it. I only found out because one of the glass pieces was broke . Apparently the glass shades fall down and explode sending glass shards everywhere. One actually fell don’t in my house, but didn’t explode, just cracked.So is life I suppose.

Got 2 different dryers from there in 3 days, neither of them worked. One of them we brought home even had a full lint trap, so had clearly been used before. Makes me think they take broken returns and just try to sell them again. Had to drive 30 minutes each way for both returns. Will never buy an appliance from here ever again.

Mm Home Outlet has more furniture now then anything else. Contractors could sometimes find a bargain here and there. Not no more, pretty much picked thru garbage.

Its ok. Some of the stuff can be nice, but a lot of it is in pretty rough shape. A bit more so than just open box items. Priced accordingly allbiet a little bit more than you would hope.

I hate this store. We had to carry a heavy fridge around the store because the staff members were useless or didnt care. My friend cut and injured himself carrying that fridge. A lot of blood on the ground and I have evidence too.We asked for help. I dont like how they make you carry your own appliances They can least have better carts like a flat bed or have a dolly around.Theres better stores to shop at where they take care of the customer. I had a really bad experience with MN Home Outlet.PS: We told the staff members to wipe the blood off the floor. Dont want people stepping on it. Still waiting on a response from the owner.

Rude customer service. I felt like I was working with sleazy used car salesman. Triple check all of your purchases for damage and that you are taking home what you purchased.

This place is amazing. Weve saved thousands of dollars shopping here for our home renovation projects. Every trip is like a treasure hunt. You never know what youll find, but when you do find what you need its incredibly satisfying.The rewards program is also fantastic. You earn a percentage off every quarter based on how much you buy, up to 25% off. That combined with the already low prices really helps when you have bigger projects to buy for.

One girl was a sweetheart. The one at cash register was rude as can be.

Organized disaster.Very nice how they maintain wide aisles. It definitely cuts down on congestion and makes the shopping experience much more comfortable.Within each department one may have to scavenge a little, but overall its a relatively organized place with a ton of items to choose from.The handful of times Ive been there, the staff has been very helpful as well as personable.I would recommend you give yourself some extra time to shop as youll most likely get list in time while browsing.

Found an advertisement on Facebook so I decided to drive down and check it out. I was extremely surprised when I take a look at the part numbers on the TVs, and I found that there used or refurbished TVs were listed higher than the brand new ones at Best Buy or Walmart. The employee that I spoke to said that he was not responsible for pricing, but that they did not negotiate. Made me wonder about the other prices in the store.One of the employees was extremely friendly and tried his best to help me out. But I still feel like the prices were not reflective of the condition, or the lack of warranty of the products.Later on somebody approached me and told me that this TV had Alexa built-in, and that the other one didnt. Cool store. They have a lot of stuff. Tough to find something specific, but if youre open to options you can find a pretty good deal. I bought a scratch & dent stove that was brand new for about half normal cost. It did have some marks, but nothing terrible.

Awesome place and with some great deals if youre careful. 50-75% off. Some recalled and non-working items, though. I once bought an electric snow blower valued at $900 for just $150.
