I cant praise this old school team of mechanics enough! Ben, Greg and Mike are amazing. Their knowledge of classics and library to help, there isnt much they cant tackle. Most recently my Daughter had emergency while moving to Nevada, 2014 Hyundai Tuscon had 449 error code (evaporative emission system), it was fixed in 48 hours and 1/3 the cost of a dealer. SERIOUSLY, you cannot beat this team of mechanics.

I’m currently still sitting in the waiting area but I really appreciate this business. They took their time to be kind, describe the issues that my car may have, and just made the over all experience of seeing a mechanic feel easy and trust worthy! Thank you for a great first visit Ben and Mike!

At first I thought; Wow, 22 reviews and they are all five stars. Maybe someone made a mistake?.... After taking my 98 Jeep Wrangler TJ to get A/C installed Ive seen first hand why everyone rated this business a five star rating. Customer service was professional and pleasant. Pricing was ABSOLUTELY FAIR. And the work was quick, efficient, and most importantly done by Professionals. I recommend if you have any automotive problems take it to Burbank Auto Doctor because the name truly represents a Doctors quality experience.

This review is long overdue. The first time I was here was just to find out why my check engine light was on (2015). They checked, it was just a loose gas cap that triggered the light, they told me to come back if it comes on again. Didnt charge me anything.It was because of that experience in 2015, that I came back when my Jeeps engine started to rattle. Around early 2016. Something came loose inside the engine. It took 4 days for them find out whats wrong and fix it, but they fixed it. The cost was reasonable for me (4 days work).The third time, was just a few days ago. Different car (Dodge), needed a new battery. Again, good price. They even reduced it because they finished 15 minutes early. Cant beat that. Highly recommend.

The Doctors analysis was excellent. They double checked the battery after replacing a bad alternator and turned out the battery (still under warranty) was bad also! Always the best service and care here.

I just needed a new place to check fluids, do an oil change and this place was great and fast.

Ben and Mike are the best! Honest, prompt, and very reasonable rates. I brought my old Jeep truck with Vintage Air system in after it died. They found the leak the same day, and recharged the system for $125. I bring all of my cars here. Yay!!!

I was referred here by a friend, I’m so happy I went!! Mike and the guys were so kind and transparent with me about the work they were doing and why. I didn’t get the feeling they were “pulling a fast one on me” and trying to get me to pay for unnecessary services. At one point Mike took me out to my car and physically showed me what was wrong, and explained why it needed to be fixed. They were quick, respectful and efficient!!! Definitely would recommend!!

On a very hot day recently the AC on my 2012 Nissan Rogue went out. I googled local places and found this business. It was a Saturday morning about a week ago and I woke up early to take my car in as soon as the place opened. I got there right away and went in and was greeted by Ben the owner. He was so very friendly and very eager to help. I explained the situation to him, he came looked at the car. I was desperate because i have a 2 y/o daughter ( he noticed the car seat) and that i was going on a long road trip the next day and I was desperate to get my car fixed. Ben took urgency under consideration and within the hour he got the car diagnosed himself. He told me that my ACc compressor and the clutch went out and were completely done. By 9 am he put the order in for parts from a local distributor. I left the car with him hoping that there were no other major issues found with the AC once they started the repair. By 11:30am I got a call from Ben telling everything went great and car is ready for pickup !!!! I was shocked as how quick and so happy I rushed back to the shop to find my AC working like brand new. I was so very thankful for Ben and finding his business. I did not notice that on Saturdays they close at Noon so they went above and beyond to repair my car and get the car back to me. They diagnosed and fixed the car within 3 hours and this was from not having an appointment. I am so happy and Ben told me that they took my issue personally so that my baby and family can have a working AC for the road-trip in these hot temps. I felt like a family friend took over the car issue and fixed the car with so much urgency. I am so very thankful to have found Burbank Auto Doctor and I will be coming back to them for any future needs. Thank you so much Ben you have no idea how much your generosity touched me.

Ive had multiple repairs here. Everyone is helpful, honest, and fast (but not too fast, if you know what I mean). Definitely check here when youre looking around at repair shops.

I brought in my Nissan Altima 2016 SL in for an oil/filter change. At the same time, have them check my brakes as they were squeaking. What I love about the work they have done is when you give your car over to them they do an overall inspection for free and actually get your car running like its new. On top of that through the free inspection they uncovered that my breaks were really worn out as well as the brake fluid low. Ive always taken my car to Nissan to have it serviced, but they never seem to fix the problem, but only temporarily and Im spending so much money. Auto Doc took care of my issues at a reasonable price and just braking my car anywhere I do not hear the squeaking and it is so amazing. Nissan service is like Apple service in my opinion. Charge you a ridiculous amount and not really fixing the problem. I highly suggest coming to Burbank Auto Doctor!

R12 is expensive, I asked for new hoses but only got one replaced the other one cant be far behind. But that being said the AC repair performed is very good and the AC system now works perfect. Burbank Auto Doctor knows what they are doing.

Burbank Auto Doctor is the best shop Ive been to in LA. Theyre old school, and totally honest when evaluating a car. I had an old Volvo and they told me that working on it would be a waste of my money when they couldve easily taken me for a ride. They were right, the car was not worth saving. Any time we need work on any of our cars we go here. Highly recommend this shop.

Ive heard about this place. I just happened to have a friend that had his own shop. Sadly, he heard to close it down. So I took my girls car to get her brakes done. Mike was straight forward and explained to me my options, and the difference. Yea, its only been a day. But Im pretty sure we wont have any issues.

My AC went out and within 4 hours I was back on the road with a fixed AC. Granted the fix was only a corroded wire and did not require heavy mechanic work. However, it was the expertise of the mechanic who was able to quickly deduce and diagnose the problem. Excellent communication, personable and authentic customer service with a dose of humor. Price was more than fair. Its the kind of shop you hope you can find.

I went on a Saturday morning and was able to get my complete air condoning re-done, it is so cold now and works so good that 2 out of 5 on the knob is sufficient and 1 if I want to just keep cool. Ben took on the big job on a half-work day; however when I left he was still working. We are negotiating a new bumper currently. Their service was stellar and they all work together there to get job done.

Ben runs a great shop! Brought my car in for A/C repair, and Ben was straightforward when it came to the repair, telling me I could probably get by the winter with whats coming out now. And we can always reassess when Summer rolls around, saving me about $900 at the time.That kind of honesty from a mechanic is tough to find. So many try to scare you into costly repairs. Finding a genuinely GOOD shop can always be a challenge. Having someone like Ben is invaluable, and gives you piece of mind that if something needs to be done on your car, it really needs to be done. And hes going to do a good job and charge a fair price.

The fixed my AC and it still works. They did forget to put my steering fluid back in my car but they fixed it really quick.

I brought in my 56 Ford Thunderbird to get to get the carburetor worked on because the car kept stalling while warming up. 6 months later and the issue hasnt returned. Very friendly service and they helped educate me on my car.

They kick but on the ac service. They also have a recent addition and can do front end alignments. They can also do tires.Ben is the man. I’ve been using them since 2006

I will just preface this review by saying I am an engine builder by profession. I have built hot rods, motorcycles, and have a lot of tools and experience with mechanics. That being said there is nothing that makes me want to work on my wifes Ford Explorer. I read the reviews of Burbank Auto Doctor and decided to take it to them to fix the AC.After dropping it off I got a call less than an hour later saying the condenser had a visible leak, and an estimate was given. After the condenser and drier were replaced, Ben told me he would like to keep it overnight to make sure there were no other leaks.The next morning he called and told me there were two other small leaks which only required O ring replacement. This did not add to the original estimate, the price was very fair, and the communication was great. My wifes AC is now frosty cold and the whole experience was great.I would not hesitate to refer anyone to this shop as they were very straight forward, professional, and reasonably priced.
