I do not live in Burbank anymore, but Auto Matters was the only shop I trusted for over 15 years when I did live there. Tony is the most honest auto mechanic I have ever known and I never drove away feeling like I was ripped off or even pressured to approve services that werent really needed. On the very rare occasion that something wasnt right (usually a part failure having nothing to do with the shop), Tony immediately made it right . He and his crew are top notch professionals who you can trust to keep your car reliable and running well as long as you own it.

BUYER BEWARE! Another rip off mechanic. This shop is a total rip off. Took a Mazda3 there for a front brake job. $115 for labor, which is fine, I understand that. The main problem is that the parts they used arent OEM, yet they charged MORE for aftermarket parts. They used Centric parts and charged us $73 for brake pads that should have cost no more than $30. They charged $184 for rotors that should have cost no more than $80 for the set! When we asked for the parts boxes they refused to give them to us. They got us once, and well never be going back. Proceed with caution.

My car has been having a battery draining problem that has been happening more and more frequently. Before it was a year or couple years, then several months, then down to a month after a new battery was put in. All signs seem to point to this being an expensive problem, possibly the alternator going (it still could be at its age, but it wasnt the issue this time). They solved my problem on an early Saturday morning before lunch, it turned out to be an inexpensive electrical issue due to corrosion and age that manifested as an unrealiable ground. Cost me $78, and the car has been starting up quickly with no problems in sight. This fix even somehow allows my radio to get more stations than it did before (virtually 0 came in clear, now I have at least 6).Theyre not in the most convenient location, but considering my car failed at my hotel 2 blocks away from them, it was very convenient to have them there.

My family has been taking our cars here for well over 20 years, and weve never received less than top service and value. One of those rare places that you can really trust if you know nothing about cars! They do oil changes, and engine changes, and everything in between. Youd be hard pressed to find a better value for the money, or nicer people!
