BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP IN LOS ANGELES! Levon is always very helpful and friendly. He always shows me the old parts he replaced on my vehicle. It helps to understand the work that was done on the car and shows how bad the part was that needed to be replaced. Ive never had any other shop do that for me. He doesnt try to push sales on you but does inform if something needs to be fixed. Do yourself a favor and take you vehicle to Levon instead of a stupid dealership.

As of this posting, Ive been to Calstate for a variety of issues about 5 or 6 times now. A couple of those times, they did a quick check and fix on the spot and just sent me on my way. Wow! Who does that? Another time I needed an emergency repair because my window was stuck open and I was going out of town that same day. Typically they would have scheduled me later because theyre a very busy shop but understood the situation and squeezed me in. Another gold star. I have a mechanic in North Hollywood Ive been going to for years but since moving to Burbank, this shop is now my first choice. Great service - I have only good things to say about them and thats saying a lot because finding a solid reliable shop is not easy.

They did a good job on my car. Fit me in as a walk in and even though I had to leave my car for an oil change, it was done within the promised time and the price was better than the nearby instant oil change place. They also advised me on future services and did not try to sell me anything unnecessary.

Levon and his staff came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. They are fast, affordable and more importantly, reliable. Highly suggest Cal State over anyone else for oil changes and maintenance of your vehicles. When we were selling an older car, they even offered to help us find it a happy home. 5 Stars for sure!!

I was sent here on a recommendation and Im so glad I was. Everyone was extremely helpful and transparent about exactly what was wrong with my Fiat and even completed a small repair for free! I very much recommend this place and will be returning if I need future repairs!

This place was AMAZING. I had taken my car to the Nissan dealer a week prior for an oil change to come to find out I have not one, but two nails in my tire (Slow Leaking). One which was in the side well. Me being the researcher I am decided to shop around for the best price, convenience, and service. When I called Levon at Calstate, rather than immediately trying to sell me a tire, he said he could patch it. He told me to stop in and that he would check it out. Even if I needed a new tire this was the cheapest place (~$85) when everywhere else quoted me at least $100.00.I arrived around 6:30 PM the next day, and the lot was FILLED with parked cars which seemed a little intimidating. There were about 6 men there, all whom were willing to help me. Since I didnt have an appointment I wasnt expecting much, other than someone to assess the damage. However after talking withe Levon, he told me to give him 30 minutes since they were in the middle of working on some other vehicles. (Remember, I didnt have an appointment). Within 30 minutes they had taken my wheel off, removed the TWO nails (neither of which were in the side well like Nissan had told me) and patched the holes! He then gave me a discount and only charged me $20.00. I was in shock how fast, easy, and cheap this place was. I will DEFINITELY be using this place for all of my car repairs in the future.

I have been going to Calstate for all my automotive needs, along with a couple of my family members. Never a complaint. My son was in an auto accident and I told him that Calstate does body work. He took it there and was thrilled with the result. The car looks new again. The owner is very meticulous with his auto & body work, which is the kind of person you want.

I got a used car inspection for a car that I was considering buying. They pointed out all the things I would want to know about and gave an assessment of their severity. And they did this quickly and even signed a piece of paper with all of the findings on it. The only thing they could have done better is proactively given me a write-up of all of their findings instead of me having to ask for it. Otherwise, 5 star service.

Levon is the best, therere no two ways about it. Since I moved to CA, have been taking my car here. Hes so helping and kind that this post will not be able to fully describe him and his services. He did not even charge for many things like coolant change, indicators bulb changes and many others. At the same time he understands the priority and situation of each and every customer and tries to help in the best possible way. I cant even imagine to take my car to any other place, any car it may be! Youre the best Levon!!!

Do yourself a favor and go here first, especially if you have to pay out of pocket. These guys will give you the fairest price you can find, and to be honest, thats not always easy when youre a gal who needs car repair. I had a friend move my car and they annihilated the front end. I had a shop across town quote me over double for repairs I knew I didnt even need. Ill be going to Calstate for any repair needs!

These guys are awesome. traveling from Washington and broke down on the 101. called Calstate and they got us a tow truck and then replaced the transfer case immediately so we could continue our trip. highly recommend this place.
