This shop is an excellent to go for 4x4 parts and repairs as well. Henrik and Mike were awesome people to help me. The had a drivers side door for my 1974 K5 full convertible Blazer. I have been looking for one for some time. We arrived at a very fair price on Monday and I picked it up Tuesday morning. It was well worth the road trip. Henrik and Mike at World Famous 4x4 will be go to people as I continue with my progress on my Nemesis. I would highly recommend this shop to any one!

Henrik and his team at World Famous 4x4 are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and helpful beyond my expectations. I have a Jeep JK that I’ve had for years and a brand-new JL. They have helped me modify them the way I wanted and provided very useful advice to steer me clear of unnecessary or overly costly mods. And, after I beat them up on the trails they help me get them back in daily driver condition quickly and with great results. If you have a 4x4 of any kind, these guys know it back-to-front and will help you achieve whatever you need, whether it’s simple repairs or massive modification. Henrik and his guys are amazing!!! Spoke to Henrik regarding some vibration issues I was having after installing a suspension lift. Henrik was immediately able to diagnose the issue I was having, and scheduled a time for me to come down and have axle shims installed. The work was done quickly and and the truck was ready when he told me it would be done. The vibration disappeared and Im a very happy customer. Would absolutely go back again and have already referred Henrik and his crew to friends of mine.

Up to this point in my life, I have always done my own suspension work including installing and tuning coil over suspensions in various cars and Jeeps Ive owned in the past. This time I decided to save myself the time, swearing, and bloody knuckles and take it to professionals. A friend recommended World Famous 4x4 and after checking their reviews, I decided to give them a shot.I have a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD OffRoad and had recently put slightly bigger wheels and tires on it causing the tires to rub the wheel well. I called Henrik and explained the situation and after discussing my options, he scheduled me for a Bilstein suspension lift install and alignment.I arrived at the scheduled time and the shop was ready to go. Henrik kept me updated regarding the progress and the truck was done exactly when he said it would be.World Famous 4x4 staff were great and Henrik knew the answer to every question I asked. I have put a few hundred miles on the truck since I got it back and I havent had any rubbing, noises, vibration, or clunking of any kind and the alignment is dead on.I highly recommend Henrik and World Famous 4x4 for all your 4x4 needs and I will definitely be going back when it comes time to put on rail sliders.

World Famous has transformed my standard 2500HD from another truck you see on the road into a BEAST!They installed a 6 Super lift, 35 Wheels and Tires! It came out better that I would have imagined. I came to them with an idea of what I wanted to do and they went through to spec everything with what would look good on my truck.During the install they found a few bushings and a CV Joint to be leaking they sent me pictures of the bad parts and asked me if I wanted them replaced while they were working and I said yes and with no added time to the install they got everything taken care of. I was going out of town 2 weeks later on a trip they had me come in to re torque everything and confirm that I would be good to go for my trip and nothing was going to give me an issue.I would highly recommend Henrik and his crew to ANY of my friends!

Being new to the area, I called several auto shops looking for someone to install a Toytec Lift kit. After dealing with shops that were either uninterested in me as a customer or tried to discourage me from completing my project, I finally found World Famous and called them. They were always friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions and it seemed like regardless of who I talked to, each person knew my name and project details. My project was relatively simple, but never once did I feel like it was not important to them. The entire staff was friendly and easy to work with. Bought a new 6 lift kit for my GMC Sierra. After looking around for a while for a install shop I could trust, a good friend referred me to World Famous. Made an appointment & brought my truck in. After talking to Henrik and seeing the shop, it was evident I picked the right place. Henrik & the crew took care of me and did a killer job installing my lift. The truck ended up needing more suspension work such as new arms & other components which they handled instantly.If you are unsure what setup you want, they can hook you up with any aspect as they do it all. Tires, Rims, Lift Kits, etc. Will be coming back when its time for new shoes on the truck!Thanks World Famous!

If you have a problem with your vehicle and want it solved, this isnt the place to take it. If you want to know most of the possible culprits they will run them down to you, but keep in mind if your problem doesnt go away after all their recommendations / work they will hand over your vehicle and tell you its fixed, done and better, but ( your problem) is still there.Now if you want someone to install new parts on your vehicle then you came to the right place, but If you NEED to order parts, prepare to wait lengthy wait times. Suppliers are backed up. If you cant wait weeks or months then this isnt the place for you. If you are not ready to spend double the cost in labor hours then this isnt the place for you. By the way labor is $135 per hour and depending on the work you might need 2 of something and that might be 8 hours labor each side (Left and right or front and rear) Not that it takes that long either, but thats what they will charge. Plus tax and parts cost. Also, dont expect to get unused hours of labor knocked off the final bill, you wont. Whatever they quote you expect to get charged for something that wasnt in the original quote. Not saying they are ripping you just saying they might find something else you didnt know was also worn or need fixing. Which probably will. If you need your vehicle back soon this isnt the place for you. Your vehicle will sit there at least 4x as long as the time they put their hands on it. They have a lot of people whos parts have shown up and have been waiting longer than you and they get priority. So dont be in a hurry, get a rental car and expect to have it for weeks. If you expect them to get to your vehicle on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday dont. They are not open and like their long weekends. If you expect them to work on your vehicle before 10 am or after 4pm dont. They wont be in. (unless your picking up if course)They are part timers.If you are getting work gone and you call for an update or to check the status, they will gladly answer the phone with an upbeat tone and animated greeting, but as soon as you identify yourself expect them to lose the tone. Dont worry its not because they dont like you, its because they are really just not as happy as they pretend to be when they first answer the phone. After the thousands of dollars you will spend, expect you may still have to comeback for a follow up, because they may not finish everything the 1st time, they may outsource some job to another company, or they just didnt get around to it. Finally, you will walk away with a World Famous 4x4 t- shirt that you will cherish like it cost you $4,300.00 because you may not notice the difference in your vehicles performance, handling, or quality and all you have to show for it is this cool t-shirt. In the end as you scratch your head wondering what else you have to do to solve your problem you will be able look at the parts they put on and say well... I know its not that....

I found World Famous 4x4 by grabbing a beer down the street. Great place, Ive had many random issues with my 2000 Jeep Wrangler and they were sure to do a full examination to figure out what was wrong. Very honest and money sensitive, if it doesnt need to be fixed they will just ask you to come back when it needs to be fixed. Friendly staff and will give you a ride when you need it, luckily I dont work far from here either.

Ive been going to World Famous 4x4 for years now and thanks to Henrik and his team, my vehicle has been kicking ass and taking names. When I decided to drive cross country from California back to Maine for my Mothers 1 year memorial gathering I had Henrik do some work on my FJ Cruiser to get it tip top.Shocks, struts, ARB Bumper adjustment, new tires and brakes, even a sick new mod on the ARB lights going from normal lamps to LEDs. World Famous 4X4 and their staff are the real deal. If youre nervous about dropping coin on your vehicle, fear no more with this team. Henrick, Harry, Cody, even Sierra their receptionist, are all excellent people, who will not be happy until you are 100% satisfied with the work theyve done. And it is high quality work. I wanted to add protection to my new 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Hemi. I ordered a sump skid plate, transmission skid plate, front axle skid plate, rear bumper guard, rear corner guards, and a lower front guard with ACC protection from Chief Products in Australia. I also ordered a hidden winch mount (for my Warn 10s Platinum) and a full roof rack system, also from Chief. It took them no more than a couple of days during their very busy schedule to get me armored up. I had a couple of issues with rattling on the rear corner mounts, and even though it was Jeeps fault (I ended up having to go to the dealership to have them straighten the crooked exhaust tip from the factory), the team at World Famous insisted I bring my Jeep back in at least a few times (no charge) to see if they could help me out with a factory problem. I couldnt be happier with the work, the care involved, or the customer service and satisfaction they provided. After my experience, I couldnt imagine trusting my Jeep with anyone else.

Funny i am editing a positive review (that i was asked to write). Owner is very personable and friendly but man these guys are winging it. I have no doubt they know the mechanical side of things as well as anyone. But the games with invoicing and promised dates (this will take no more than 7 days - took 5 weeks) and swapped parts etc. was horrible and borderline legal. Dont get lured in!

There was a minor confusion on what parts I wanted installed (probably my fault) and, without me asking, Henrik resolved it free of charge. Im still in coplete shock by how legit he is. Ive been taking my 15 JK to Henrik and team for a few years now and they are they only place I trust. Over the years theyve re-geared, installed and painted a new hood, new Gobi roof rack, new brakes, new bumpers, new tires, and regular service/maintenance. Theyve always checked after market warranty, and in the case of my bumper and tire carrier, successfully worked with the manufacturer on a replacement. Great honest shop that does good work. Simple philosophy yet very hard to find in LA. Fixed another shops install job and are going to perform some more suspension work on my F250. Wish I would have gone to them first.

Over the last 15 years, Ive had Henrik do repairs and modifications to my K5 blazer which I was always happy with. I even bought a used Suburban from him. Recently, I put it up for sale and he bought it back from me after putting 100,000+ miles on it. Every time I deal with him, he is upfront, honest and fair. Needless to say, I would highly recommend World Famous 4x4 in general and Henrik in particular.

I own a 97 Wrangler and its my baby. Im always super anxious whenever I hand it over to repair shops, but this is the first time Ive felt like my car was in good hands and didnt stress out while it was away. I am writing this review because Henrick was so helpful. I do not do reviews but wanted to thank him in some way for his help. I took (actually towed) my 2016 Nissan van to him because he said he could definitely fix it. After inspecting it he felt that whoever built the van should try to fix it. He said he would call them and talk to them. He did just that and they agreed to pick it up and transport it across the country. He could have kept my van and charged me a lot to fix it but instead... he jut did the right thing and more importantly went out of his way to get my van fixed as it needed to be without any cost to me. I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know and will take my other off road vehicles to him in the future. Great to find someone you can trust!

He pushed what he knew what was right for my z71 and it turned out amazing people are always complimenting it now its a real truck thank you the wheels and tires are amazing. If you go anywhere else youre wrong the price is right he knows his stuff you see on screen what you are getting and he doesnt push what you dont need. I took my 2010 Tacoma to the guys over at world famous and they did not disappoint. I had a little bit of an idea of what I wanted but these guys pointed me in the right direction and didnt pressure me into getting something I didnt need. From the price to the workmanship it was top notch. I highly recommend taking yoir vehicles to World Famous 4x4.

Had a accident on my big dodge and they fixed it. The front axle was replaced. My insurance didnt want to pay for it but this shop managed to talk my insurance company into paying for a majority of repairs. Im thankful they where able to do that because I couldnt afford to pay the entire amount at the time. This shop does lots of custom work as well as regular repairs. Its a good shop.

I’ve been coming here since I got my 67 Jeepster 5 years ago. Henrik and his team are fantastic! I got disc brakes and power steering put on my Jeep. The quality of their work is outstanding. I’ve brought my Jeep to them for random fixes and tune ups as well. I will be taking my Jeep and future Jeeps here forever. Plus they have really great merchandise swag as well!!

My husband took his truck in to get tuned up before our road trip, its never really been quite right since it was lifted (by another company in Texas.) The guys at World Famous 4x4 were incredible! Honest, straight-forward assessment of what needed to be repaired, incredible customer service and really just genuine, nice people. When my husband told me what they needed to repair I cringed because I was sure it was going to cost a fortune. We were both amazed at how reasonable the price ended up being and how quickly they were able to everything done! My husband said he instantly felt like he was talking to a long time friend and we definitely will be returning customers for any future work we need to have done. Honestly cant say enough good things about this place!

If I could give these guys 6 stars, I would. I had a recurring clutch issue that other good mechanics could not resolve. Shortly after leaving my rig with Henrik, he called me with a simple diagnosis that fixed the problem. He charged me less than other mechanics charged me for any of their 4 unsuccessful attempts. He then had my rig delivered to my office for a very reasonable cost, right on time as promised. Everyone at this business was professional, and very pleasant. I wish I could get my Jeep serviced here instead of the dealership! Had a problem with another shop in the valley who did not install a lift correctly...came here and immediately felt at ease just from my first conversation with them.Now the vehicle is aligned! And WOW I didnt know it could drive so smooth. I will be coming back and recommending anyone I meet who wants work done.Everyone is straightforward and honest. I couldnt ask for a better experience.

World Famous 4x4 advertised a JK hood on Craigslist and I gave them a call. They described it as like new so I drove over to look at it. It was Like New so I bought it. Everyone there from the receptionist, the owner and the guys in the show were very nice. Two guys from the shop loaded in the back of my JK and made sure it would not get scratched on the ride home. Overall a Great experience..

If I could sum up my experience in one word, it would be AMAZING! Had a tundra with some high mileage on it, then my axle started to make a horrible clinking noise. I took it down to the awesome guys at World Famous 4x4, and they diagnosed my problem that day, and had all new parts at the shop the next day. To summarize the issue I had, it was my rear end, it lost all its fluid so I destroyed my 3rd member. Henrik got me a whole new third member, with a warranty, and replaced all my seals so it never happens again. Not to mention the cost was well below any other shop I talked to. Cannot recommend a better place, wish I could give 10 stars!!!

I have taken all my vehicles to him for the last 2 years, from Jeep JKs to my 1996 F250 7.3 to a 66 Mustang and most recently my 86 Vanagon with a Subaru swap. They have done, suspension, electrical, performance, body work...EVERYTHING. Epic team, fast, reliable, fair. Recently, I explored another shop slightly closer to my house, and 30seconds into the phone call I hung up. World Famous is the best performance shop in Southern California.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Dropped off my bronco Jan 3rd 2018 and was told it would be done may 2017. I just picked it up April 11 2018... all the work was poorly done and I am having to take my truck to another mechanic. Henrik told me the work that didnt get done is my fault for coming to pick up my truck. They forgot to paint parts of the truck, told me things were fixed that clearly were not. When I picked up my truck it died on me. They put in a new engine and didnt change any of the old lines out. Put on a lift kit but didnt change out bushings. I paid 2000 for a bumper that is scratched and that I didnt even approve before powder coating, which just like everything was done terrible. They had my truck painted and the blonde holes are already falling out and chipping.

Henrik and his crew were very professional and easy to deal with! I am located in Las Vegas and had no issues at all getting ahold of or a response from Henrik when I had a question. Would recommend them 100%, they will not disappoint.

I recently purchased a 4runnner and wanted to change out a few things. I was not sure what direction I wanted to go. All I knew is I wanted a more rugged look. I went into world famous and was actually greeted by the owner, Henrick. He was so patient with me and showed me numerous types of rim and tire combos. He also explained, lifting my 4runner would void the warranty. Other shops had not told me this and seemed to just want my money. I ended up going with bf tires/ method rims and could not be happier. He actually blacked out the center pieces at no extra charge. His prices were much more reasonable than any other 4wheel shops. Henrick and his staff seemed to genuinely care and were amazing. Henrick and a few members of his staff were there to hand me back my truck. It felt like I had just bought a new car all over again. World Famous 4x4 has just earned all of my off roading business.

Good work on my 4runner lift.

I first came to Hernrik with World Famous 4 x 4 in 2012, for a crate engine. That turned in to an LS conversion for my 52 five window Chevy. Over the years I have brought it back to change the gears, new rear end, front end and disk breaks as well as other upgrades. If anything ever goes wrong he has always taken care of it.Over the years I picked up some toys from WF4x4. My favorite is an original 1969 International Scout Aristocat. Also have a 71 Jeep and a 56 truck that Im patiently waiting on.I have had work done at other shops and it was never done to my expectations. It may take a little longer at WF4x4, but its worth it to get it done right the first time.

They did good work repairing an electronic issue with my 4wd switch on my 96 chevy tahoe as well as some other maintenence- quick turn around and a job well done. They also have some nice trucks sitting around for sale.
