I absolutely love Ethan Allen! We have many pieces from them! We thought we’d just go buy an Ashley’s piece and that on lasted a year! We will never ever again cheat on Ethan and go elsewhere! Ethan may be on the higher end of the money grid but you pay for pure quality! This will last 35+ Years! Worth every dime! We purchased 4 pieces and one has arrived! It’s like Christmasea h time you get a piece!!! And ask for Tyrone to be your delivery guy! He is the BEST I have ever had in delivering my furniture!!! We love our new bedroom furniture! Paula was helpful and attentive from the start, when we came into the store with only a few ideas of what we were looking for. She pulled together various options, came to our home to to measure and discuss additional ideas, and kept us abreast of when our orders were scheduled to arrive. She knows the furniture line, is happy to do research as necessary, has a good sense of style, makes good suggestions but is focused on the look we are trying to achieve, cares about how single pieces look and fit with existing furniture, is patient and low key (both important to me), follows up to check on the status of orders, and is responsive to emailed questions. Just redecorated our keeping room. We had no clue until Madonna Goldsby helped us figure out what would fit and would meet the needs of our family. She gave excellent guidance on colors and patterns. She was very professional and had a good grasp of available products and options. There was no pressure at any time. She worked with us to keep on budget. Very disappointed in after sale care. We purchased furniture from EA and Bassett next door in Buford. Production was slow for both understandably with covid. Our products from Bassett were pretty much in the time they predicted and delivered the week they received. EA was a week late then they proceed to tell us it will be 3 additional weeks for delivery. We live within 15 miles, ridiculous.

I went in for a “first look” at what’s “out there” and she quickly put together a layout that I liked. We had to cancel part of our vacation to be home in October or we would have to wait until November. 😳 No one at corporate seemed to care until we cancelled vacation and THEN they offered to come the following week. It was too late. I honestly am blown away that they come ONCE a month. Disrespectful in my opinion. Beate was concerned and did try to help. It’s like ...we’re coming this time... like it or not.Furniture is good quality. It turned out just like I wanted even though I felt pressured a bit to go a different direction. I worked with a wonderful, creative designer (Andrea Ryan Jackson) who came up with the perfect design to meet my needs! My aesthetic is a mixture of rustic, industrial, contemporary, and traditional. Ms. Ryan-Jackson was spot on in her design. I loved all of her fabric suggestions and her style suggestions were spot on as well! With her help, I was able to make selections for my entire new home from window coverings for the front door and windows, to paint color for the walls; and equally important, Ms. Ryan Jackson had the skill-set to seamlessly integrate my current furniture with new furnishings from Ethan Allen. My recent shopping/design experience at the Ethan Allen Buford store was rewarding and every bit of five stars. Beate (commonly known as B) was extremely helpful and accommodating. She can work with folks of divergent tastes and help them find a common design ground. She listens to her clients and does not try to impose her own tastes on the process. That being said, she is very open to questions and provides the appropriate amount of guidance when choices inevitably arise. I found her both pleasant AND professional to work with as well as very knowledgeable of current design trends and the Ethan Allen catalogue. Ethan Allen stands for high quality products having successfully survived in the furniture/accessories business for decades. That goes without saying. But dont get it twisted: this is not your fathers store any longer. Ethan Allen has a tremendous assortment of modern furnishings and is right on point with what todays buyers want. Do yourself a favor and make sure that you ask for B when you visit the store. Youll be glad that you did!

The house was still under construction after all. Afterward, she spent countless hours looking at the perfect pieces of furniture and fabrics for our home. We could not be happier with the quality of furniture, delivery and design. Andrea is our go-to person for design services and we will continue to do more and more business with her and Ethan Allen.

It’s very rare that you meet someone in a retail setting that isn’t pushy or over-the-top “salesy” and for my wife and I, this attribute is worth its weight in gold. I cake in and asked if you carried Feather Dusters. The woman I asked was very rude and condescending in her responce to my simple question.Okay, even though Ethan Allen is a furniture store, and to some it would seem logical to carry such an item as a Lambswool Feather Duster, there is no excuse for making it sound as though its the dumbest possible thing to ask for.

I have a young child and two dogs so she kept these “life-stage parameters” in mind when suggesting fabrics and furniture. Her knowledge of the merchandise and expertise helped make the process so less overwhelming!*Also, I appreciate Ethan Allen’s wide array of color options and Katherine’s enthusiasm to go beyond the basic neutrals so prevalent today. Looking forward to working with her again in the near future when we’re ready to begin on the formal dining room / living room combo.

The fabric on the item I purchased has wide white lines within the colored pattern which look as if the fabric machine missed areas. The day my item arrived some neighbors had stopped by. When looking at the item, they asked what was wrong with the fabric. I had noticed the issue but had not had a chance to react to it. When I called Ethan Allen the next day, they sent someone to look at it. That person was a contractor and saw what I saw. He counted the number of thread gaps but would not comment further. I had to call the store over a week later to see what they were going to do based on the contractors report. They would not do anything - neither recover the piece or refund some of the cost. Totally inflexible, unconcerned that their produce did not meet the customers expectation. No-one can tell me that this fabric should look as it does - I know fabrics have artistic imperfections but that does not appear to be the case in this instance. Bad brand.

Katherine Kloster has been great to work with us! It is a challenge to blend the tastes of 2 individuals, but Katherine is diligent and worked hard to offer suggestions to steer us in the right direction for our new home. Thank you!!

Shopped for furniture there and judging by the prices they charge it must be some really awesome stuff they have there. They are very proud of what they have. I am sure its great for some people but I just dont need a 5k love seat at this point in my life

We had waited to start furniture shopping until after Christmas as we knew it would be a lot of work and a lot of decisions to be made. I have never shopped at Ethan Allen as I knew it could be quite pricey, but we decided to stop in at the Buford store because there are virtually no other options in this area. We had made a complete loop of the store and I really didnt notice anything that I really loved. Then Beate B caught us looking at a night stands in one of the rooms and ask us a few questions. Less than an hour later she had put together an entire bedroom which match mine and my husbands taste while incorporating what I already had. I love how she listened to what I said and could put something together rather than telling me what she thought I would like. Great experience. Thanks B.

I had purchased an end table that had severe water damage from company and water glasses. The table could not be repaired and they delivered a brand new end table! Excellent insurance policy! Thank you

Great quality furniture, awesome quality SERVICE!

Very disappointed with our kitchen table we purchased here. Not only has it changed color so the table no longer matches the table leaf, but there are hundreds of light scratches all over the surface. We take good care of our table and wash it according to the instructions given to us, but at just two years old it looks terrible. Must be something wrong with the finish or something. We used placemats and it shouldnt look this worn out. I also had the designer come to our home to make sure this table would fit the spot. She was adamant it was the right size. However, it is to large and it really should be a round table in the spot it is in. It looks pretty silly. We also had another sales person upset with th designer for stealing her customer. We stopped in previously and that sales person grabbed a brouchure and spent maybe five minutes total with us. It was very awkward to hear them argue over us(mostly the sales lady arguing to th designer) We had asked to have a living room design plan but the designer never got back to us, despite me calling. Disappointing experience and I would not recommend going here for furniture.
