I had some issues with my car, it was clear that it was a transmission fault, I went to get it diagnosed and fixed. The person says it is not a transmission problem, we just need to change the spark plugs, I thought Id just trust the experts and went ahead with the change. It cost me over $250 and the issue still persisted. I am a student, they wasted my money for nothing.

They helped me pinpoint problems with previous work that the orginial autobody shop did, but didnt find when I went back to them. That shop said I had transmission problems and couldnt recommend which transmission place to go to. I went here and Randy helped me figure out that it was in fact not a transmission problem, but a problem with the axle/carrier bearing Id had worked on just a few months ago. Basically, they found the problem the first shop should have been able to find and resolve (seeing as it was their work that needed replacing!). Without Randys honesty, I could have been paying for things I didnt in fact need....

Was very poor very unsatisfied had a blown head gasket I get it a big jub he Dyane) wouldnt give me a time he kept saying it be ready in a week well never happened a month later it was ready he charged me 2700on top of that they busted my gas line and also charged me for it I know the max amount on the repair he definitely charged me way over plus hours I had to get a rental on top of paying a whole month of car insurance I will not ever go there again

Duane was outstanding from the first phone call answering all my questions straight through to picking up my vehicle. The job was completed on time and for at the original ball park estimate he quoted. He and the team went above and beyond and they know old cars which was helpful in my case! I couldn’t say much this place is a send from god Duane the gentelman that works the front desk explained to me exactly what was wrong with my car I couldn’t say much I went to 3 Mechanic shops before I came here I have a hard time and a lot of anxiety form mechanic shops and this place was out standing all the stuff was just excellent at there job super professional and wasn’t all about the money or pushy it was all about getting the job done and I’m so thankful for you guys I really appreciate everyone there thank u so much I couldn’t say much

First off they had my car for almost 2 months and when I finally got it and drove it 1 day and broke down again after they said they put in a new transmission and second when I do get my car the front flap on my front bumper was off and in my backseat and no one mentioned that it had come off.....I don’t recommend this place at all from my experience.

They saved us several hundred dollars on a new catalytic converter. After over a month ago the repairs they did have been perfect with no issues that required a return visit! Their prices were reasonable and all engine repairs have been great fixing the old cracked gaskets. Will definitely be returning to this place for any future repairs !

Yes I took my Jeep liberty to AAMCO and talked with Dwane, he said sure leave me the key and I will check it out. Dwane gave me a call and said that he could get the job done but he would have to order parts. I said Okay lets get her done. A One Stop Auto Repair Shop!!I took my car to AAMCO on Sheridan Dr.They are very professional, very knowledgeable, detail oriented. I was driving on the thruway in the rain and saw something ahead in my lane and couldn’t move to another lane as there was a lot of traffic, rush hour, I hit a piece of wood that did a lot of damage under my car. I took my car to AAMCO ( which I always thought was just for transmissions) I was lucky to find out 2 years ago they service everything. They fixed my car ASAP, offered me a ride if needed. They always go above and beyond for their customers and are very fair with their prices, much cheaper than my dealer where I bought my car. This is the only place I take my car for everything, even an oil change! Thanks, Guys for always being honest and helping me ASAP! Plus my car drives as nice as when I bought it New! 😊😊

Had transmission problem on my 1975 BMW. Took it to them and they both fixed the issue and made the car better to drive. Always stayed in contact and asked before doing any work. Great people, and great work.

I went in for one particular service but was told to give them the opportunity, to run a test on my suv. I did as suggested which saved me money . I came in for them to do a basic transmission service would have costed me on top of what actually needed to be fixed. I thank them for being honest and Andy is the best!!! Definitely recommend anyone to go there for top notch service!!! Great prices with honesty!!!! They also honor coupons and Andy goes over and beyond to have a satisfied customer!!!!😁

Steve and the rest of guys here are my go to mechanics for everything. Ive been going here ever since my first stop in about 4 years ago and Steve hasnt let me down once. Theyve always been quick to determine the problem and the cost has always been WELL UNDER what it wouldve cost me at other places, and believe me Ive been to them all, even with the vast number of mechanics in the buffalo/amherst area. I recommend this place to everyone I know, its the only place where Im confident that the guy Im talking to (Steve) is telling me the real story and giving me the best deal possible, I know that sounds cliche, but its true.

So. I came to aamco for a transmission rebuild. The whole experience was well worth brining my business to them. I was referred by multiple people. And I see why. Joe was great, worked around my limited schedule. He followed up with my after the transmission was in. All the mechanics were competent and worked with a purpose. The transmission was works flawlessly and is warrantied. Completely happy with the service here

I went there for a shifter cable replacement and paid what they wanted. When I got my car back I noticed my carpet was cut. They cut my carpet to do the cable. Called them and they said they will fix it. Had my car there 6 times and every time they called me at 5 pm and said come get your car. When I got there they said they got the wrong carpet. It has been over a year and the carpet is still cut. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Please stay away from this aamco.

Ive had such good service here. Ive taken my car and my daughters cars here for a few years. I am always defensive when going to the dealer for service or other shops. They always try to up-sell me or insist on service I dont need (I actually know a bit about my cars) but with this shop, I have never ever once felt like I was getting pressured or taken advantage of.In fact, on more than one occasion, they found a way to save some money and the bill was LESS than quoted. One time they even found a rebuilt part and called to ask me if I wanted to use that to save money.I trust these folks 100%. I just called today to make yet another appointment and instead of my typical car-repair stress, I am worry-free.

Continental told me i need a transmission rebuild ...$2900 .. This place said i was low on fluid and i needed motor mounts they also found other problems i knew were wrong and gave me a grand total of less than $1500 i love this place

I brought my car in for NYS inspection. They took care of me immediately and it was done quickly. They were very helpful!

I hope all Aamcos do not operate this way.. Joe said 1.5 hours to do job. 6 hours later he calls and said all done. We show up to pay and he made me wait while he played his golf tournament on his phone!! Smh. Where did customer service go. To add to the mess I have 2 transmission pan bolts missing!! Smh

Made appointment and paid hour wage for pre-purchasing inspection, and they even said they will make sure this car is good to buy. After 15 mins, They brought this junk back to lot, and said absolutely nothing wrong with this car, and it will last more than 20 years. Didnt even mention nothing about tires when rear tires were actually ripped off. Moron seller acted even more moron after inspection saying mechanic said nothing wrong! But it ended up this junk car had so many mechanical problems. Parking break wasnt working, wheel balance was messed up, power steering noise, water pump was leaking, and etc.. Regardless of other problems, how come you couldnt find a problem with parking break? They are not qualified at all.

I shopped around and AAMCO by far offered superior service. they checked my car for free, found the problem with my transmission, and fixed it for a reasonable price. Go there and see George!Update, we had a problem with our daughters car, Dwane at AAMCO took great care of us.

From the time I first called, and Joe picked up the phone, this whole experiance has been made better. My transmission went after hitting a pothole, and a tranny coolant line came loose and leaked out all my fluid. I called Aamco, and told joe my problem. He was first off very polite, and very educating. I am not the most mechanically sound person, so he explained to me why my tranny went, why fluid is so important, and what he could do to get it fixed. Then when my insurance wouldnt cover the repairs(minus my deductible), he worked with me on the best solutuion for me. I havent picked my car up yet, but im already thankful for Aamco on Sheridan Drive. Especially Joe. I will happily recommend Aamco on Sheridan over Continental Transmission, any day.

Everything was great until the company they finance you through has an issue and they refuse to help or accept the fact that they were not forthcoming with details about the company. They took advantage of me in a sticky situation, and withheld the truth about that company to get my business.

The manager Steve took the time to show me what made my car brake and why. After my car was all done he let me know about maint. things i can do to keep my car working right. I didnt even know that aamco did all kinds of car work. From now on i will bring it back here to get everything done they are great, friendly, and i trust them.

I went in for an inspection, they told me they will have it done right away. an hour later i go in asking what the hold up is and get the responsewell the guy who is certified for inspections isnt here yet, but we thought he would have been by now, i can do inspections but its my day off and i forgot my certification. so i tell them either get it done in the next 5 min or im leaving. suddenly the same man comes back and sayso i just found my certification, im failing you.YEAH,, LIKE IM SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE HE JUST HAPPENED TO FIND HIS CERT RIGHT AS I WAS GOING TO BE LEAVING.When i asked why it took so long the man told the owner it took so long cuz i was asking for a quote on a new tie rod, which was a complete lie, i never asked that. overall they seem very dishonest and they were very rude. felt like they were trying to pull some kind of scam.AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS
