From the beginning, Rhett Dressel was a patient and concerned guide through all the points of deciding which car and which model would be the right choice for us. Since I ordered a car, the experience was very different than a normal purchase. But through the whole process, Rhett was there to answer all of our questions. If he didnt know the answer, he would admit to that but then would find the answer with all the details to answer the question completely. The closing wasnt ideal, but Rhett went out of his way to make it as painless as possible.

We have a 2015 Hyundai Sante Fe with failed engine. Huyndai has a known issue problem with these motors and they are refusing to help. Prior to having it towed here for service We were told they would review it, do any recall work and submit a case to hyundai for warranty work. No guarantees but they would “try”. It took 21 days for them to look at the car because they were behind. they were polite on the phone upon delivery. But once they reviewed the vehicle on 9/29 no one called with an update. When I finally called a week after it went in for service, the lady was pleasant on the phone but basically said they can’t do anything so it was almost condescending in the sweet tone. Hyundai corporate is not standing by there product even with the known problems because the recall work has not been done.

So far so good! Enjoyed the experience, and Cameron was very professional and helpful. Even got our car back to us a little faster than we expected. NJ Walser Team.

Listen, I genuinely hate car shopping. Its overwhelming and feels really scary to make such big commitments. I had a friend recommend this place because I had been in the market to get a new car and wasnt having much luck. I had shopped around at other dealers and was running into many obstacles. One common issue that I ran into at all the dealerships was almost no or very little cars on hand, most said it was because of the recent computer chip shortage. The other main issue was that when I went to check out vehicles and asked to get a quote and the quote was way more than advertised on the websites, it was very deflating. Sometimes they advertised cars leasing for around $250-$300 a month but when getting an actual quote it was always close to $400. Frank at Walser Hyundai was good at helping me find a car model that was in my price range and he was able to get me one in a timely manner. I appreciate Franks help and him listening to what I desired in a car.

Our recent purchase with Brian was as good as it gets. Walser Hyundai was one of few dealerships that wasnt charging an added market adjustment for the popular Palisade, and physically had the cars listed on their website (many dealerships had listings of pre-sold vehicles or that were several weeks from arrival). We called Saturday morning to inquire about availability and started the purchase soon after. Brian was comfortable to work with, straight-forward, and patient (we had to pause the process to see our child off to prom). The process was efficient, transparent, and honest. Much appreciated!

After purchasing a vehicle from. I am waiting to get my title back. 2 months go by i call them and they tell me that the previous owners loan on the vehicle was not paid off and they still needed a lien release. Otherwords they sold me a car and never get the previous lien holder to be released. I worked with an Emmy and she did nothing to speed things along it took me 3 months to get my title and when i asked what they were going to do to compensate me the general manager didn’t even try

Completely unprofessional. This location put me through the ringer for a vehicle that wasn’t even for sale. They ran my credit and did everything. They asked me to drop off a deposit for a vehicle that wasn’t even available. On top of all that the lack of communication from the salesperson was very unprofessional. I do not fancy this Hyundai location and will let everyone i know who is car shopping not to go to that location. I’m very shooken.

My wife and I were pleased with our vehicle purchase even though the sales staff pushed their add ons saying “throw me a bone” implying that we should spend more money on extras that we didn’t need or want. I assume this is where the sales make more money. But what drove us to this bad review is the pathetic follow through by the staff. We have owned the car for almost 2 1/2 months and still have not received the title, which we need to transfer over the loan to our bank. This exact situation was what we were trying to avoid, and the sales staff used pressure tactics stating they couldn’t hold the vehicle for us in any capacity (even with a down payment check) while we got the purchase agreement for the financing squared away with our bank. We have contacted the sales member and the dealership on multiple occasions requesting an update for the tabs and the title and they’ve given us the runaround at every turn. This shows they only care about making the sale and not the follow through afterwards. They claim that due to the vehicle having a lease from the previous owners cause complications which is held up the title transfer and new tabs. We are currently sitting with bad tabs on our vehicle and no title due to the poor execution by the staff. And just finally today they came clean on their lack of action and reasoning as to why we still don’t have it. This is a pathetic excuse for their lack of execution. I highly advise anyone buying a used vehicle ask for clarification on the title and tabs processing otherwise you’ll end up in a similar boat to what we are in. As a dealership I feel as if this is a pretty simple thing that they should have taken care of on their end prior to putting up a vehicle for sale. I personally will not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

It started with a phone call. Frank Donato answered that call and went to search the lot for the vehicle I was inquiring about. After 5 minutes I received a call back from Frank informing me the vehicle was still available. I went to see the vehicle and decided to search the lot for any other options. Once I met Frank the showroom was jam packed with customers. Frank told me to hold tight and allow Nick Benincasa to walk me through the lot and help me with my purchase. Nick was stellar. Very informative from the start. He wasn’t forceful or pressuring. He was cool, calm and collected even after scarfing his lunch down in ten minutes. I found a vehicle that fit my criteria and was allowed to take it for a test drive. The rest is history baby! The buying process was seamless and pretty quick. Ive been trying to light a fire under these folks to protect their customers from the unethical policies of their preferred vehicle finance arm (Hyundai Motor Finance), but to no avail. Apparently it isnt The Walser Way to communicate with their customers and advocate for them. HMF wont apply overpayments to principal, which would be the honest thing to do for the customer. Walser seems to be OK with that.

Purchased a 2017 Genesis from them in Feb. The car was purchased from a Florida auction. The wiper fluid in southern states is basically water and was frozen. When I notified them, they told me to take it to a Genesis dealer. It took three appointments at a different dealership to figure it all out. They finally got my wiper fluid working again, after many dangerous incidents of my windshield freezing over. I notified them once again after the whole ordeal was over and received no response. Don’t buy a used car from them.

I must say from the beginning to the final ending of our transaction was professional, courteous, thoughtful and funny. Our process took two days and our sales person was Rhett Dressel. What impressed me the most about him, is that he was off at 3 p.m. the second day but he stayed on to make sure the transaction went through covering all grounds and explain to us each process.
