NEGATIVE ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐The owner of this business is an Old, Senile, Back Stabber..If you do not like dealing with BULL$#!+ DO NOT CALL HERE WHEN YOU GET STUCK IN MUD. The old fool is rude on the phone and even more disrepectful in person. He calls the Cops and the Department of Transportation on customers to have them cited and put Out-Of-Service. If officers do not comply with demands, he makes foes of them as well. On this day the old fool was outwardly resentful to have provided service while failing accomplish all else. Maybe next time...
Now when youre in this line of business, you would think you knew how to work and interact with people but not these guys. Shucks! 1.8 stars because they gave me my car back. Other than that, the attitudes displayed were just not working for me, unnecessary comments and more then rude. Honestly not professional in my opinion but the area was clean, inside wise. The owners werent wearing masks in their place of establishment of all places, or took much precautions when interacting. The small cramped parking lot was packed, I assumed with vehicles that were being fixed or something and their towing equipment. The prices here is pretty average, unless if you knew the owners or something... Would I recommend this place? I took 3 business card just so I could definitely NOT recommend this place, I forget names of business quickly; especially those that have poor interactions with customers...trauma and all, ya know? If youre desperate for a repair though, I mean desperation will make anyone do anything. I think they might even smell that desperation and bump the prices up, wouldnt put it past these guys.
Straight up good people they are there when you need them
Poor customer service! The lady on the phone was very impatient but got us the help we needed. When the guy showed up he was very rude! Put his hand out and said “we only take cash”. He was not informative about what he was doing either! Not impressed! If we ever need a tow again, we will not be calling them.
I broke down along the interest in a blizzard and they were out there as quickly as you possibly could. JR was very polite and eager to get me off the road and in the truck for safety and warmth. He did everything he could and seemed to take pride in his work. Vehicles never seem to brake down in good places or during nice weather but he gets it done every day. There should be more people like JR in the world.
The best service ever.
Great work guy was awesome got my jeep hooked up and towed in a timely manner all professional top quality people.
VERY RUDE! SAVE YOUR TIME AND DONT EVEN CALL!!!
Car suspension broke in town leaving the car undriveable. Had my car towed and repaired by this company. From beginning to end their service was friendly and their prices were very reasonable. Some people dont understand that the biggest cost for a tow is getting hooked up. After you are hooked up the mileage charge is just maintenance, gas and employee time.In summary this is a great company and if I end up in trouble again I will call them without hesitation.
Very rude when I called with questions. I dont know what makes a business think being rude & having an attitude is going to attract customers.
Great service, great raw materials (I buy steel stock here), and I like its a local business.
The customer service is hit and miss. They definitely overcharge! If you need a tow or repair call Aurora towing and save yourself some money.
Top notch service!
If there was a way to give a negative review, I would be doing that. Thursday evening we called at 8:17 to get a tow truck to drive us 6 miles to Brookings SD with a blown tire. They got someone to us within 30 minutes, which was great. They asked for a card to confirm payment, which is totally acceptable. They didnt ONCE tell me how much the tow would cost, but it was a NEED so we asked them to do so. Later that evening we had another driver from Sioux Falls drive to pickup the van and bring back to Sioux Falls for repair. The tow from Sioux Falls to Brookings and back to Sioux Falls was $198.00 + Tax. For 126 miles total. Fast forward to today and I get a receipt for $151 for 23 miles at 9:00 at night. I called the company to see if we were overcharged and her response was It is what it is. They are simply taking advantage of people in dire times. BUYER BEWARE
I didnt even get close enough to get service because I was blown away by the lack of compassion and respect I received. The receptionist was awful so I hung up and didnt look back. Maybe youd get more customers if you werent so mean. Pretty bad that Im not the only one who complained. I dont doubt their ability to service your vehicle but start with customer service. Pathetic!!!
Straight forward people that get the job done in a timely manner. Other reviews might say they were rude, but they just get right to the point.
Basically had most of the suspension replaced on my truck after years of use and abuse. They do the job right the first time and they do it right. Basically the do a great job and they do it fast. You pay a bit more but you get what you pay for with these guys.As for the negative reviews? Well Im not 100% surprised but yeah if you drive stupid on ice then maybe you need some basic instruction on how to drive on it and not be surprised when someone says something about it. I live in Brookings and see way too many people that have big trucks and SUVs that really have no idea how to drive them. Taking turns so wide like they are driving a semi pulling way to the left before making a right turn and dumb crap like that.
Do not call them; they are charging college students criminal prices for their services! They practice customer service by screaming, yelling, and getting in my face almost to the point where i could call the police. If my car had broken down in my hometown it would have taken me an hour to fix, while it took them all day. They were not busy and every few hours when I came back to check on my car, it was still sitting there nobody had got to it until i had to wait at their shop which is more of a barn.Do not call them for any service!
I was reading some of the neg comments left about over charging what people dont realize the costs behind running a towing facility so they have to charge by each incident accordingly think about it 100.00 dollars to tow car in town first thing u think wow thats crazy well all it takes is one scratch on bumper and it cost the towing company 3 times that amount all im saying its a high risk business to be in and dangerous too think before say bad about anything towing companies r here 4 u
Totally awful people that work there, very unfriendly and rude. Call anyone but them they need to learn how to run a business.
My dad locked his keys in his truck Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, and Al came over shortly after to unlock it. Worth the $60- thanks Al!
Great service
Really great people
Rip off. $53 to get it unlocked and it takes them 2 minutes at most to look it over and unlock it.
Fast,
Ridiculous tow rates.
