I originally visited Pro Tech Transmission 6/5 for some questions and answers regarding my 09 Grand Caravan transmission. 178k mikes and never been serviced before. There was also some unusual engine noise I needed checked. My concerns of a pressurized “flush/fill” were discussed and Paul thoroughly explained his tactic for gravity drain and gradual fill with related filter and gasket changes.He put the car up on the lift and brought to my attention that the valve pan gaskets were shot and determined to be my engine noise source. He readily said that he could do both jobs in one day at a very reasonable price.We arranged to drop the car off in the early morning and had it ready by close of business. All jobs neat and complete.Paul was extremely professional and handled all my questions. After looking around multiple places for a 6L80 rebuild, Paul was the nicest and most honest guy I could find. Albeit a light rebuild, It took him less than a week to pull and rebuild the transmission in my camaro. He was honest and open about what he was doing with my car (trans). I trust his work on a near 1000hp street car. When I drove the car it felt better and shifted cleaner than before. Paul went out of his way to explain what went wrong and physically showed me the transmission parts. He gave me assurance if anything was wrong with the transmission he would take a look at it again. He even added extra gas on top of everything else. Its rare to find a person like Paul in such a business that can easily scam people out of thousands. A 5-star shop with a 6-star owner.

Tranny was going out 1 year ago on my 03 Honda Pilot. Was able to get it to Paul at Pro Tech on Friday. He rebuilt it and had it back to me the following Wednesday at a reasonable price! I have purposefully waited a year to ensure it was not a temporary fix. Sure enough my transmission runs as good as ever. I do not normally review businesses but I gave Paul my word that I would if I didn’t have any issues. Better late than never.

Pro Tech Transmission had my car on three separate occasions for the same problem. After getting ripped off by another mechanic I was referred to Pro Tech by a friend. I was quoted a price that was more than reasonable and I was assured that Paul would take care of me. Paul rebuilt my transmission and did give me a discounted price. But My transmission has not worked right since. Each time I brought my car back for THE SAME PROBLEM it took Paul between two and four weeks to get me my car back. This car is my business and I lost over $2500.00 in down-time. Each time I got my car back it had the same problem and worse. It wouldnt shift, or it made a strange whining noise and wouldnt shift properly. After the third time bringing my car to him to fix the problems that was supposed to be covered under his warranty he told me that he would not honor his warranty or stand by his work. He also told me that he put used parts in my transmission. As of the date of this review I found that my car would not shift into overdrive and would not go into fourth gear. My business has suffered greatly without this vehicle and he has cost me more money in lost hours and vehicle down-time. I will never use Pro Tech Transmission again.

First, of all Paul is a good man, You know some mechanic you just dont know ... Lol. Well Paul was 100% different. HE told me exactly what was wrong with my car, didnt beat around the bush, so when he told me the price, and he started work on it, he got behind cause one of his workers went to school, he text me let me know it will be a different day, Gave me a discount for the inconvenience and my patience....😃 ... with a 3 year warranty. When is was done call me and told me. .... but get this, On the way home from ProTech Transmission the car started acting funny (for a different reason why we had it at ProTech Transmission) and we pulled over on the B.A. I called Paul told him, he said Where are you? I told him, he said I will be there in 10minutes. He came showed me the problem, Wow... Wow. He didnt have to do that, my Transaction was done, but he made sure me and my family was SAFE. I did what he told me to do. CAR is running 100%. I WILL TELL all my family, friends, and coworkers about the ProTech Transmission, For their Transmission Needs and I HOPE you do also, Thanks Paul.

From the moment I walked in I felt like I was a valued customer.. Like they really wanted to earn my business in a genuine way. The customer service was excellent.I met Paul and speaking with him I left with the impression that I could trust him and his team with my vehicle.They fixed my engine misfire and the price was reasonable (they say theyll beat anybodys price). I didnt do any shopping around however, visiting Angies List showed a price range for engine misfire repairs.. so I felt I wasnt ripped off at all.Id definitely recommend this place. Im happy Ive found a go-to automotive repair shop.I had tried 2 repair shops in Coweta and neither showed that they wanted to earn my business (one guy told me he was going on vacation and the other guy said call me on Monday which I did ((and Tues too)) and he never responded back). I called on a thurs and explained that I needed to get my trans rebuilt and do to my work schedule I wanted to drop off on a friday and pickup again on monday. I expected to have to wait at least a week or two to be able to meet my needs.
