I just came from here after getting new tires, an alignment and rear brakes done on my 2003 BMW and I just want to say I would never go anywhere else to buy a car or have it serviced. I bought this car from them Seven years ago and the few times I have brought it back for service I have been treated superbly. The office workers, Lisa and Gary, and Mark who sold me the car are always very friendly and attentive. Robert, who has been the main mechanic that I have dealt over the years goes above and beyond to answer any questions that I may have and I have many, never having owned my own car before, has treated my very honestly. I sent my granddaughter there to buy her first car and she was equally satisfied. Thanks again to Absolute auto for a great first buying experience and to Robert for answering all my questions and concerns over the years with such patience. Dolly Adams, Abington, Ma.
Worst 10 mins experience of my whole life! Drove an hour and a half to inquire about a vehicle we saw online, after we called and was told there would be people here to talk with us till 5, we get there and there’s one guy there, he lets us take the car for a ride but tells us to “hurry up” because they are closing soon (it was only 4:20). While we are on the ride the check engine light comes on. When we get back we let the guy know the check engine light came on and that the front tires where dry rotted. His answer was “cool, I’ll let them know”. So my boyfriend asks, is there anyone we can talk numbers with and what not and his response was “they were already gone home for the day, have a good day” didn’t even take any of our information to have someone call use, he was extremely ignorant about it and we didn’t feel welcome at all. Will definitely not be going back to this place again.
Mark and his crew were more than pleasant to work with and took care of everything I could ask for. He made buying my new truck a breeze and I’ll definitely be back.
UPDATE: As expected, the response below is totally fabricated and laughable. I was NEVER abusive and only raised my voice (and yes, swore) at the end. I should have just went through their insurance like my gut told me in the first place. What else can you do but live and learnI purchased a truck from them about 4 months ago, I paid above kelly blue book value as it seemed to be in good shape. There were a few small issues right after I purchased the truck. In the end, all these things were taken care of so no big deal.Heres the story:The first rain we got I noticed the inside of my truck had a puddle on the floor. On further investigation I figured out it was coming from a cracked cab light (see pictures). I took pictures of the crack so that I could send them over to absolute if needed. I called them up and the said they will order a new light assembly. They had me drop off the truck for the day once it came in.I picked it up drove home and inspected the work. Four pry bar shaped DENTS and scratches behind the new light! I called them up immediately and told them that the person who worked on the truck dented the sH** out of it. The lady I spoke to said she will talk to the owner and call me back. About an hour later I get a call from the same lady. She stated the owner said the truck was like that previously so there was nothing they could do. I questioned her to be sure I heard her correctly and sure enough, I did! I went on to tell her ok, thats fine because I have pictures of the cracked light that show the cab was NOT dented previously and that I would be right down to show them to her. They refused to look at the pictures and instead brought the guy out that did the work and asked him if it was like that when it came in. He said I honestly do not remember. So I asked him to show me the tool he used, he went out back and came back with the tool in the picture below. I asked him if he used a buffer between the metal tool and the metal cab, and he said no.. That is a trim tool, that is what its used for.Reluctantly, they agreed they would fix the dents and scratches with a paintless dent removal. I agreed to let them try but stated Im not going to be happy unless it is like it was before they damaged it. The end results were what I expected. It was better than it was but not like it was before the damage. Even more reluctantly, he agreed to have the area painted the whole time treating me as if I was the one in the wrong. The day comes where I pick up my truck for what I hope will be the final time after them having my truck for one full week between all the repairs.I ask for an invoice to show what work they did on the vehicle, and I was bluntly told NO. When I questioned them why they said if you want to pay for the work we will give you an invoice. I said, why would I pay for the damage your employee did to my truck to be fixed?? I just want an invoice showing the work you did in case there is any other issues. They flat out refused and told me to leave. When I asked if this is how they treat their customers and said I had been very patient in letting them resolve the issue when I could have more easily gone through their insurance. They told me to get the F out (this is the two men in the office) and said we dont want you as a F ING customer and called the cops. I admit at this point I got heated and yelled back.I waited for the cops just, so I could get a police report of the incident and have something on file saying they did work on my vehicle seeing they wouldnt give me an invoice. The cop said he asked him to give me an invoice and again he refused and said If i want to pay him $50 he will write up an invoice.Mine as well mention the handprints that were left all over my liner (pics)Im not one to write reviews and gave them every chance to make things right. In the end they just kept giving more reason TO write this review. I really hope I saved someone the frustration I went through.
I was looking for a used car for my kids, I had in mind a compact car, at most a couple of years old, in good condition. I saw the car offered at Absolute Auto Sales, I sent an email with a few questions and got my reply the next day, I had a couple of follow up questions, again got my answer the next day. I liked there was never any pressure or deceiving tactics trying to make me visit their place before releasing any information or answering my questions. They provided the information I requested in a timely manner, it was different than other car buying experiences where you get no information unless you go visit them and get pressured to close a deal even before they disclose any numbers. This place has a very refreshing approach, at the time I decided to visit them, I had all the information I needed and I just went to see the car and close the deal. I talked with Mark, Lisa and the mechanic staff they have on site, very friendly people and easy to deal with all of them. I pointed out a couple of minor issues on the car (due to normal wear) and they immediately came out to look at them and dealt with them right away.I honestly spent at their place less than an hour (including the test drive) doing the paperwork, I had nothing to negotiate or to ask, since they had already provided all the information I had requested about the car, the price of the car was exactly the number they had given me from the start, there were no unexpected charges.Once, I reserved the car, they handled the financial paperwork (I asked them to handle that as well), two days later everything was ready and I took possession of the car.The car I got was at a good price, in very good condition, clean, well serviced and ready to drive. I could not ask for more.Very good place. I will definitely recommend them and I will make sure to contact them the next time I am in the market for another car.
Great guys! Great deals! Great vehicles!
Good prices low price nice cars nice clean cars trucks good place to buy a vehicle from
I bought a car there roughly 2 years ago in November 2018. Nearly a month after purchasing not even the car had a bunch of problems and lights on so I called to see if there was anyway I could return it. They told me to bring it to Ford to get it fixed because there was a bunch of recalls. Safe to say since then I’ve had to bring this car to Ford at least five times because of the amount of problems I’ve had with it. I am unable to pay it off in full due to being in school so I wish I never bought this car. It was probably my worst decision ever and I should’ve taken the hint after the owner was extremely rude to me over the phone, and 18-year-old girl who didn’t really know any better, and was trying to get a reliable car for school. This is the worst purchase I’ve ever made and I still regret it to this day. Not only did I feel these people weren’t honest with me but now I’m stuck paying off a car I hate for years.
I helped my daughter by a car from Absolute Auto. She’s bought from them before. We had a great experience with the Finance team and the owner. We recommend purchasing a car from them. They are patient, accommodating and easy to work with.
I bought a 2017 Civic with 44k miles last summer. I saw the car listing online I purchased it over the phone, since I was moving from California for an internship (my mistake will never do that again). Mark was very friendly when it came to the sale, but the car has given me nothing but problems and there were several huge red flags I missed. When I went to pickup the car, the AC was completely out, so Mark had to bring it to a repair shop to get it fixed (was told the Freon was out, but that shouldnt be the case for a 1.5 year old car). Additionally the front right bumper was missing some bumper clips and there was a deep scratch under the right headlight that was painted over. None of these issues were disclosed on the online listing. I was naive as a first time car-buyer and didnt think much of it at the time. After about a month or two the AC stopped getting cold, but it was late autumn by then. I put the car into storage for several months and pulled it out in July to use it again. The AC issue persisted, so I brought it to a Honda Dealership to have it inspected. The dealership got back to me that the AC issues were the result of a broken condenser and compressor (`$3k fix) due to collision damage on the front right side of the car. From the painted over gash, missing bumper clips, and the right side of the condenser being smashed, the car was clearly in a previous accident that was not disclosed to me.I reached out to Mark about the issue and was initially offered $300 in good-will but he quickly retracted the offer. I dont want to accuse them of hiding this previous damage, but even the Honda Dealership noted that the bumper must have been replaced or removed at one point due to the missing clips. Either that or Absolute Auto Sales has a really poor inspection quality. I saw that other reviews noting that the vehicles they purchased also had undisclosed damages, so I just want to warn others. Now Im in the hole $3k as a student because I trusted them too much as a first time car buyer.
I bought a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport last year (August 2019) and the car has been fantastic since day 1! They made the experience very easy and were so nice to work with!
I am very glad i read the comments before making a decision on a car dealership. Mark seems to be very rude and conniving. With all the issues customers seem to have you’d think they would let him go... Unless he owns the place then ouch you don’t need to be in customer service.
Bought my car here in 2019. Its been exactly a year since then and so far Ive had great experiences with the staff and service. Ive had an oil change and fluid check in that time. Pricing is comparable to competitors. I trust these people.
Might be a little too early to rate but purely on a thus far basis, these folks are top notch. Mark and staff were very helpful and patient. I just say its too early just because I purchased a used car and you just never know. In fairness to them, used cars do come with uncertainty. Great experience overall and I would highly recommended them for future car purchases.
I bought a 2006 volvo s60 back in March and have had no issues after 6 months. They are great and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend buying a car here.
MECHANIC HELPED ME SECURE MY SUV HOURS AFTER CLOSE.
Great people. They let you know what is going on with your car. They do great work, and they back it up if there is a problem. They were recommended to me about 3 years ago, and its one of the best recommendations Ive ever received.
Best experience. Mark and the other guys were awesome. It was a very smooth buying experience and they helped me along the whole way.
I came here for my first time ever financing a car and it was such an easy experience! Mark‘s honesty and communication throughout the process were notable, and their prices are incredible so I was able to get a great deal!
Stop deleting your reviews scammers
We had the best experience Mark and his staff did a Fantastic job with my family. My daughter just purchased her first vehicle 2017 Hyundai, he made the process extremely easy. We got the best rate/ best bank.Thank you all I will definitely send freinds and family !!👌
Bought 2 cars from here. outside of typical repairs Ive never had problems with either. Always fast and friendly. Great place
Bought a pickup truck there about two weeks ago. Wanted to drive it n get it inspected before giving a proper review.I found them fantastic from start to finish. One issue I had with inspection was fixed properly without hesitation, haggle or complaint. It was a pleasure dealing with them and we will be back when were ready for another vehicle. Thank you very much.
This dealership is a calm joke. I wish I had read the negative reviews before purchasing my vehicle because those are the actual true reviews. They were certainly nice and money hungry when it came time for me purchasing my car from them. However, once money was collected all that changed. Not even a month in with having the car so many issues arose. First off, they said they serviced the vehicle and changed the engine oil. However, my car is already letting me know the engine oil will need to be changed in the next few weeks. What topped it off is my car broke down on the highway with me. JUST WOW, didnt even make the first payment towards the car, and a car they supposedly serviced broke down on the highway with me. I called the dealership and spoke with Mark and explained my situation. He responds that he is not God well I PRAISE JESUS that you are NOT God because if you were this world would go down into flames like the cars you sell. He pretty much said the warranty their dealership offers to buyers doesnt cover much and I had to figure out on my own to bring a DEAD car to them. I ended up servicing my vehicle somewhere else, a place that I can trust. Spending $1500 just after purchasing a car less than 30 days ago from this place. Mainly because if they couldnt sell me a properly serviced car why would I trust them repairing my car. For all those purchasing a car from them, just be careful. Bring in your maintenance person to check the car before purchasing from them because I can guarantee your car was not properly serviced and you may end up on the same boat as me. I wish I could give them 0 stars but I guess google wanted me to be slightly generous.
I recently purchased a used car from Absolute Auto Sales, I have knowing Mark and Rob for a long time now, me and my family always bring the cars to them for any repairs. However, this time it was the time to purchase a vehicle, after talking with Rob, I asked for a specific car model that he did not have on the lot, but he worked hard and he found the exact car I always wanted. The all process was smooth with no delays whatsoever. In less than a week, the car was delivered, detailed and ready to go for me to pick it up. I highly recommend Absolute Auto Sales, and Absolute Cars & Truck, whether you are looking for a trusty mechanic or to purchase a vehicle. They are the best!!!
Mark the car salesman said the vehicle was already serviced. I took it for a test drive and found at least 3 thing broken. One being a loud squealing from under the passenger side of the vehicle when driving it. When I mentioned the things wrong with it he said well this is probably not the car for you.I asked if they could fix the bumper, he said yeah if you want to buy it a new bumper. Both rear seats dont fold down because the latches to unlock them are broken or off. 4runners are used for hauling so you want the back seats to fold down when you need them. Also, the back door hatch does not unlock with the unlock button. You have to manually unlock it with the key when you want to open it. Pain in the neck when your shopping with your hands full. The automatic sunroof does not work either. If this is what they called serviced, I would not ever buy anything from them and trust that it was serviced. When I came back from the road test and came into the office to return the keys, he just casually looked at me and continued his leisurely conversation on the phone. Couldnt bother to talk to me or ask the caller to hold on a minute. So I walked out the door when he called out after me so your all set? I laughed to myself. This guy and place was a joke.I looked on line and saw the place and Mark had other bad reviews, which he all tried to explain away much later than the review. I believe the bad reviewers. How does this place stay in business?
We recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee and had a great experience. It was absolutely no hassle, and they answered all of our very many questions. They kept us updated throughout the process and we will definitely be looking to buy again with them when we replace our second car.
Mark & staff including body shop very good. Bought vehicle here and very happy with purchase.
I have bought a car at Absolute in the past, and have had worry free issues for over a year now. I love the half price service plan they offer when you buy a car from them. I am a very happy customer. I highly recommend visiting and buying from Absolute Car & Truck!
What a great shop. I cant say enough good things about Rob & his staff. Very trust worthy and very professional..I highly recommend this car dealership..
Awesome, great customer service, ethical and great technicians.
I was a bit concerned about buying a car from a used car dealership. Absolutes straight-forward honest approach to my questions quickly alleviated my concerns. Robert and Mark made this experience worry-free which I have never experienced while shopping for a used car. I will be shopping there again.
Be careful, they will sell you a lemon, their manager Mark is a total uninformed/misleading crook!
Always visited to see their inventory, until the day I needed to actually purchased one. Now I see why they have great reviews, the car and service from Absolute Car Auto is absolutely amazing! I am enjoying my new vehicle! Recently had my car serviced and this place is on point from service to price and prompt!
I went in looking for a vehicle for my daughter. Mark was very helpful but not pushy. the experience was awesome. I would recommend this dealership
Ive been going to Absolute for 17 yrs. They are amazing people to work with. Always fair pricing and they stand by their work. Wouldnt go anywhere else
I was shopping for a new vehicle for my son on AutoTrader and came across a vehicle that suited our needs at Absolute Auto. I contacted Mark by phone to confirm the vehicle was still available and to ask miscellaneous questions. Mark was courteous and comprehensive in his answers so I decided to drive up and check out the car even though I live nearly 1hr away in Rhode Island.Upon arrival, he greeted me while someone went out to bring up the car with a plate for a test drive.... everything went well and I decided to negotiate on a price. I had a couple of other vehicles at different dealers in mind but I was looking to simply complete the search if we could agree on a price. I expressed to Mark my desire to purchase the car if he could make it worthwhile for me to not go look at the other vehicles. He gave me his lowest offer and I found it was fair enough to close the deal.So far, the vehicle is running very well without any issues after 3 weeks of a new teenage driver at the wheel. I would strongly recommend giving Absolute Auto a shot at your business.
Picked up a 2003 Hyundai GT coupe from this dealership. Theyre sales department is top notch and service department is second to none. Would highly recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a high quality used veichle at a great value, and dependable service at a great price. 👍
Get all of your cars here. Forever. Ask for Robert, super nice.
Everyone at absolute are great, Rob the owner is very patriotic and always willing to help....I have been using them for about 10years and I neve regret using them.
We recently purchased a 2003 Ford Taurus and are very happy with the quality of the vehicle. The selection of vehicles is vast and Mark and Rob take the time to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied. This is the second car that weve purchased from Absolute Car and Truck Center. We also have had other vehicles serviced here and have found everyone to be professional, honest, and courteous at all times and I will definitely be back when the time comes to purchase a car again.
Horrible customer service
We were searching for a specific used model: Nissan Juke. We found a vehicle that fit our requirements on Autotrader, but it was in MA - we live in ME. We never bought a vehicle that far from our home state. We were nervous about a transaction like this, but Mark and his team at Absolute Auto made the process easy.We drove down to look over the car after doing research at home. Everything checked out and we moved forward with the purchase. Everything continued to be a breeze, and Marks team delivered to our home. We couldnt be happier with the service we recieved. Thank you to Mark, and the rest of the team. Car buying is not fun for us, but this purchase was fair and easy. Will certainly work with Absolute Auto for future purchases.
I must preface this review with the fact that before I found the fabulous Absolute Car & Truck and met Mark Collins, I had the WORST car purchasing experience at a different dealership. This other dealership sold me a lemon and gave me a very hard time in regards to returning my money. Long story short, I was VERY WARY when I approached Absolute Car & Truck, as I had just gone through a nightmarish ordeal and did NOT want a repeat. (Not only did I research the car I wanted to buy, I also researched the DEALERSHIP.) I have to say, Mark Collins was the exact opposite of what I had experienced with my lemon car at the previous dealership. First, he was very down to earth and exerted absolutely NO PRESSURE when I was asking questions about the car I was interested in. (One of the things I hate about buying a car is the immense amount of pressure many salesmen put on you. Clearly, Mark is unlike the stereotypical used car salesman.) When the day came to actually purchase the car, Mark, Derek, and Robert were very friendly, greeting me by name when I entered the office. All the paperwork was in order and the car was ready to go. (My mechanic had found a small problem with the exhaust system, which Mark and his team fixed right away.) Buying a car couldnt have been easier. I wish I had found Mark from the get go, but Im just glad I found him at all. I will definitely be returning to take advantage of the discounted servicing/repair program Mark offers to customers who purchase cars from him. And I would highly recommend these guys if you are in the market to buy a car! Thanks so much, Mark, Derek, and Robert! I LOVE the way you roll! (And I couldnt be happier with the car!)
Back in 2008 i bought a dodge ram 1500 for about $5000, i do construction and believe me when i say i worked that truck hard racks 3 tool boxes loaded, that truck made me a lot of $$$$....bought a bigger truck Dodge Ram 2500 HD about 4 years later from someone else was a great deal I couldnt pass, but whenever i needed it serviced i brought it to Absolute, Rob was always great to work with on helping me get my truck fixed and back to work, still driving that truck today with over 200,000 miles...because of the great service and trust i just bought a car for my daughter a month ago and the exhaust started to get little bit louder i contacted Rob and he said bring it in and let me look at it, turned out to be the muffler they put a new one in and gave me great service ....THANKS ROB AND ABSOLUTE EMPLOYEES ...(thinking about buying another truck, Rob you know the one i got my eye on)
It was my first time buying a used car from a dealer in the States, I highly recommend this dealer, and also I will buy my next car definitely from here again.
Was working with a car dealership in Brockton, MA. Name absolute cars & truck.I placed $100 down that day I took it for a test drive and we signed papers. It was a purchase agreement on the car. So in all fairness the car was suppose to be on hold. Because I really wanted to get it. I needed to find a bank that would accept my loan amount because mine didn’t. I went to DCU they accepted the amount and I called them to inform them I had the money set out and ready to purchase. I just needed to figure out my car insurance. I specifically told them to give me a week, I even placed more money down of $1000 in total for them to hold the car. About exactly a week later I called them and they said they sold my car. I have proof and evidence to what date and time I called. They said I was too late which wasn’t possible because I specifically called them a week from the date I called. The car salesman was literally yelling at me telling how he had to bendover backwards for that car. Which wasn’t fair because I had to do the same. I currently have car insurance I paid for with no car on it. I made my coverage deal specifically under the Toyota’s information and vin number. Come to find out I can’t even get the car, that I downed a $1000 just for them to “hold” it for me, but yet didn’t. They said they would find another car almost exactly the same to the one I wanted. But at this point they are just wasting my time and haven’t updated me with any car. They are wasting my money and insurance. Because I paid in full for my insurance coverage I have now. I need help on how to resolve this dispute.
Great place, they are always willing to help....I bought my car from them and I fix my car with them....Djaay
We didnt have the best credit and really wanted an suv. They did all they could and more, and we are so grateful and happy for our suv! Thank you!
Super helpful, no pressure, very friendly... The best car buying experience Ive ever had.
In July of 2013, we bought a 2005 Honda Civic. The price was fair, and Mark did not pressure us one way or another. The process of buying the car was easy - we took it out for a test drive, decided we wanted it, and Mark offered to repair a few minor things that were wrong with the car as part of the purchase price. Weve been driving it pretty much every day for the past 5 months, and have not had any complaints.
Bought a car from these people and parts started falling off. Vehicle was in an accident and was not disclosed to me. When I called to talk to someone they were trying to say I broke it. The part was repaired with super glue to sell the car. Terrible service. Terrible quality vehicles do not buy cars from this place.
In March, I bought a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my daughters first vehicle from the West Bridgewater location. We had the pleasure of dealing with Joe Ely throughout our purchase. Joe was very helpful in answering questions and putting the whole deal together. There was no pressure whatsoever, which was awesome! Several things needed to be done to the Jeep for it to pass inspection, so I had the opportunity to deal with the people at the Brockton location. They were wonderful as well - fixed everything (of course at no cost to us) immediately and my daughter has been smiling ever since!! I would absolutely recommend Absolute Auto Sales (see what I did there?) to everyone I know!!Kim English
A few years ago I bought a mini van here, it was good for a month, I had to buy a motor for this car, They also did the same to my sister this week only difference her last 2 days, Dont be fooled by these people, Dont
Honest people. Used cars and repair shop
My wife and I had a great experience at Absolute. We came down from Vermont to visit family and to look for a car for me. I had been without a car for several weeks after a frustrating situation with auto insurance in the aftermath of a horrible car wreck that totaled my last car. Wed been feverishly searching far and wide for a reliable, relatively rust free car and found a very nice 2003 4Runner at Absolute Car Center. It was a great truck and had obviously been well taken of. The price point was great and the folks at Absolute were able to get me financing at the 11th hour on a Saturday! Well done! The 4Runner was exactly what we were looking for and Mark and his staff worked hard to get us into it! Its been a month or so now and the truck is doing great and were still very happy! To all of the nay sayers that give Absolute 1 or 2 stars and report dishonesty or untrustworthiness. We simply did NOT experience that. We spent several hours in the office and the staff at Absolute were courteous, respectful, trustworthy and pleasant.Thank you to everyone at Absolute Car Center! Again and again we recommend you to anyone we know who is searching for a car... even up here in VT!!Best of luck and thank you again!
Very honest mechanic,great used cars
Great Chrysler 300c Hemi 4450.00
Forewarned is forearmed. Stay away from this used-car dealership. They are dishonest, disrespectful and are exactly the kind of operation where used-car salesmen and dealerships get their bad name. They say the vehicles are serviced, but I doubt it. If they indeed are, then they only do enough in order to flip the cars over. I almost bought a car from them. I looked for reviews on them, anything I could find before moving ahead with the purchase. It wasnt until after I put down a substantial down payment that I found a few negative reviews. One described how Mark swore at her when she was leaving after getting her deposit back, two described when they brought their cars back within the warranty period to have something covered fixed. They were told it was, and when their own mechanic looked at it later because the problem continued, they were told it never had been. In one case Absolute held on to the car until after the warranty period was over, and when the car was brought back again right after that, wouldnt do anything without charging them. After reading this, I was cautious but never told them what I had found out. My mechanic checked the car I almost bought and found several things. For instance, the car had been in an accident which wasnt on Car Fax. I know that can happen, but when I mentioned it to Mark, it was clear he knew about it though he behaved like he didnt. The brakes needed work and the original battery was still in the car. The car was 7 years old so it shouldnt have been. Several things needed replacement, and if this car was serviced like they said it was, it wouldnt have had the brake problems and other issues. Mark first said theyd do the work, and then said if they did the work and my mechanic either said it wasnt done, or found some other problem with it which resulted in my not buying the car would I be willing to forfeit my deposit. I laughed and told him to return my deposit. He made what some might consider rude comments such as if I wanted a new car that I should go to the dealership down the street because they just got some.I suppose I should have gotten mad but I didnt. I just laughed because what an idiot he was. They had blank checks in a draw that were like starter checks in that they had their account information on it but no check number. It appeared theyre quite use to people asking for their deposits back. If you deal with this dealership, you wont get a car. Youll get headaches.
Friendly place and are very helpful.
Rip off!
Ok
Good
They are very friendly
Thanks
