On the Friday of the 4th of July weekend, my Mazda CX-5 was the front car of a three car rear-end accident. My insurance company suggested contacting the insurer of the last car (the initiator of the accident), so that I would not have to pay my deductible.After researching the various auto body shops, I decided to try Newton Collision Repair. Brought the car in Thursday, and while I waited for Richie to get back from an errand, Lori (introduced to me as “my right hand” by Richie) took all the pictures, filled out all the forms and sent them up to the insurance company in Massachusetts.The shop was closed the following week for vacation, so I brought the car in again the following Monday. Richie explained that the insurer’ estimate was less than half of his but he would “talk them around”. Lori arranged for my rental car (also paid for by insurance), and my car was promised in four to five days, assuming no hidden additional damage.Come Thursday, Richie calls and leaves a message that I missed, that the car was ready. Friday, I drive over; there is my car, as good as new. And best yet, the insurance company did pay the full amount, nothing out of pocket for me.I highly recommend Newton Collision, Richie delivered on his promises, both on time and at no cost to me.

Richie is fantastic and a total professional. I bought my car there and not only was he very thorough but he didnt pressure me to replace my entire bumper. He was totally happy to re-secure it and replace just the minimal parts needed to make it structurally sound. He also is very reasonably priced.

In this case I need it to write a review because the work that was done on my car by Newton Collision was not only excellent it was STELLAR. Richie and Laurie are the nicest people I’ve encountered in this industry in a very long time. Richie is definitely a man of his word and follows through from A to Z. There’s no beating around the bush with him. He actually will go the extra mile if need be. When I went to pick up my car I was Blown away and so happy with my vehicles finished product. I would recommend this establishment to anybody in need of collision repair. And if I’m not mistaken this family owned business has been in business for about 40 years. It’s very seldom that you see a business stay alive this long. Four decades is a long time and now I know why. Hands-down the best collision experts around. Lovely experience at this Mom&Pop Shop. Richie wasn’t there when I showed up but Laurie was an absolute dream. She was very kind and helpful, as she easily explained the process of going through insurance companies as well as detailing the shops various accreditations. She took a bunch of photos of my damaged car and made a file for when Richie returned. Richie was then very prompt in reviewing my file and reaching out to me with an estimate. The prices were very fair and although my car was totaled and I did not end up having any actual work done there, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Laurie and Ritchie really took the stress out of the situation. Highly recommend to anyone looking for collision work!
