Day trip to Brenham. Walking around a quick lunch . You cant drink on premises. Lunch is sandwiches prepared. No vegan options. Not over priced, . Off the town square. A good place for a quick bite good .

We love being able to buy Shirttail Creek eggs when we run out before our next on-farm pick-up. And we are addicted to the chicken salad sandwiches made by the local catering company, Simply Dlish. We also grab fun drinks and snacks from time to time too!

I love the cool selections of unique drug store items they carry at 1844 and the atmosphere is so inviting. My favorite items are the little individual cans of drinks - White Russian in particular! Also, check out that yummy ice cream they have! Love love the place.

Recommended to me by their sister store, Ballad of the Bird Dog, I wandered into this joyful little liquor store + market! A carefully curated selection of craft (with a few big names too) spirits and many Texas-local canned beers. I liked that you could buy a beer by the can as well.The manager on site was extremely informative and very charming. So glad I was recommended this spot and will return if I’m ever back in Brenham.

While visiting the Brenham area, we stopped at the 1844 Fine Liquors. As a bourbon drinker, I am always looking for new places to look for hard to find bourbon. I was not disappointed. We had a great time talking to one of the owners. I highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.Had another opportunity to visit 1844. We were not disappointed. Store interior is now finish and looks great. Worth a visit if you are in Brenham.

Love this place. Its so convenient and its big enough to have what you need and small enough that they remember you and know your taste in liquor and offer suggestions on something else. My favorite vodka is good night loving and the only place to get it is here.

A small boutique liquor store, it has changed hands from the oldest package store in Brenham “Corner Liquor Store” and is now 1844 Fine Liquors. Same nostalgia and history, but now with a refined twist to make shopping downtown even more unique and enjoyable. Catering, events, delivery services, wholesale and anything else you need beer, wine or liquor, this is your spot.

This little “corner” liquor store has been around for years. The 1844 team has done a masterful job renovating it and bringing in some unique and some high quality spirits. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they’re getting their hands on whiskies that are hard to find at stores 3x their size. Prices are a little bit marked up, but absolutely fair, especially considering the limited availability of some of the booze they have.

Nothing else like it around!! You can find treats that no other stores around here carry.

Trying to find a liquor store near me while downtown and came across this gem. By far the most unique bottles around and a really neat shop. This is a must see if you are near Brenham and want to experience a great little boutique bottle shop.
