A cool retro Comic, hobby and tattoo shopMy brother a chick friend and I walked over to Tytan comics after we where out eating. It was a cool little hole in the wall local business. It was calm with comics neatly coverings the walls. There are bobble heads and even mini-arcade machines. the staff was friendly and didnt seem bothered by me recording and taking pictures. A cool enough place with resources to get you what ever you needed for your personal hobbies.

Guy who owns Tytan is a good friend. Very clean shop. Great selection. I work in a comic shop in town and we always recommend Tytan for kids getting into comics. He has one of the largest selections of new comics in the area. Definitely worth the trip if you’re downtown or just visiting.

Drove from Brandon, FL to this location as soon as I parked the car, they closed up shop. A full hour earlier than the hours posted online and on their door.

This is a very interesting place. They had a nice variety of comics, including some nice keys. The employee was Very friendly and knowledgeable, and he helped me find another comic I needed in addition to the ones I’d already found myself. The store was nice and clean. They were doing some road work in front of the building and I worried they’d be closed, but they were still open. Make sure you drop in here and browse!

Great selection of comics and piercings, the person who helped me spent time to explain some of the piercings and how they would heal, greatly appreciated it.

Nice staff. Was looking for some gatherings aimed at need but they dont really have space for that. Considering that I didnt purchase anything, staff was super nice and provided location that may better fit what I was looking for (dark side specifically).

I love this place! Awesome artists! Comic book store in the front so you browse and shop while your artist gets ready or while your friends get tattooed. The artists are very talented and Ty in the front knows everything about comic books and movies. He can help pick a good comic for any age. I would recommend this place. Visually it is great just to look around too!

Very knowledgeable staff. Very very well stocked in old and new comics. I was even able to find a rare Incredible Hulk to mark off of my wish list. I will definitely be back.

Never before have I seen a tattoo parlor thats also a comics shop. These artists are fun, talented, and always make you feel welcome. They have a sorts of comics and are reasonably priced! They have collectibles as well as other comic related items and its always fun to go back in and see whats new!

Ty was great. I was looking for 2 specific brand new issues late in the evening on new comic Wednesday. For you other comic lovers, you know that can mean missing out on a 1st printing. Ty still managed to get me exactly what I was looking for. All the other memorabilia, replicas, and toys were fun to look at too. They even had a section of older action figures that opened up a big can of nostalgia. I enjoyed remembering which ones if had as a kid.On the flip side, its a tattoo parlor to lol! Ill have to check out there work next time Im in the mood for one.Stop in, check it out. Really cool vintage stuff too.

This was my first comic book store ever and I had no idea what I was looking for. I walked in, gave them the name of an author that I freaking love, and i was literally handed FOUR different comic books! I had no idea what I was looking at, so all of my questions were eagerly answered. Everyone -and I mean EVERYONE- in this shop is so nice, it will make your head spin. And in the back, theres a tattoo/piercing shop. So, get a comic book and get something inked. Sounds like a bitchin day to me.

This is a pretty cool place. Its quite small but packed with some neat stuff. It doesnt feel overwhelming like some comic stores. Im not a huge comic reader so I cant speak of the selection (it seems quite expansive for the space) and the little toy section is a huge blast from the past. The owner Ty seems like a nice guy. Ive had nothing but pleasant interactions with him. Theres even a tattoo shop in the back.

Been looking for a few exclucive items for my Batman collection. Some they had, the rest they helped me find. These guys are awesome. Will always recommend and will always come back again. Treat the shop and people with respect and they might even work out a deal with you.

Im giving the second star because this MIGHT be a good tattoo shop.This is by far the worst comic book store Ive ever visited. There was no sense of organization. ⅔ of the space was dedicated to the tattoo area. And the inventory was somehow simultaneously minuscule and chaotic.

Awesome little comic book store and tattoo parlor tucked away in downtown Bradenton. Sweet little selection of old and brand new comics so there is something for everyone.I am trying to get rid of my 35 year old collection of comics so I didnt purchase any comics, however I did buy a Funko Pop figure.The guy running the place also knows his comics. Will definitely be visiting again.

If comic shops are a labor of love, Tytan Comics is a Shakespearean sonnet that utterly redefines the concept as we understand it. Gone are the days of the portly, bearded gentleman sitting behind the counter, treating you with indifference so as not to be distracted from his taped off of TV collection of Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes. In stark contrast, Tytans portly, bearded gentleman welcomes all comers with an earnest honesty, gleefully sharing his love of comics with his customers. Sure, their inventory may not be the largest, but who really needs massive stacks of long boxes filled with back issues nobody wants to read, anyhow? The shop is well organized with not only the comics themselves, but plenty of interesting and thematic toys, decorations, and assorted other doodads. Looking for something specific? Theyve got it, or they can get it. Not sure what youre looking for? Theyll help you figure it out. If youre over 18, you can stay for a tattoo or piercing. If youre over 21, theres a bar right next door. There is literally no reason to visit any other comic store in Bradenton. Since Tytan opened, Im not even sure if there ARE any other comic stores in Bradenton. Theres been no reason to look.

I once saw Tytan Comics in a drunken knife fight with another (obviously infereror) comic book shop. It wasnt pretty but drunken knife fights hardly ever are. Long story short, the other shop didnt make it but Tytan reigns supreme. All hail Tytan Comics.
