This is a store I usually dont go to. Mainly cause I cant be silent or speak softly. Tho the few times I have been in these last few days I have found what was I looking for and bonus, they were on sale. Plus the young adult that helped me was very polite and helpful. So I would say I would go again in the near future.

Excellent place for books, games, and even kids games/toys. I wasnt aware they had as many cool items for kids. The coffee shop inside is amazing. The staff is more than friendly. Our car battery died after being inside the store for an hour. My kids were screaming outside and one lady offered us a free cookie for the kids to split, and water for everyone. Another lady offered to try to jump my car off, because I had cables. Excellent place

I used to come and sit here 2-3 times a week over 20 years ago.SO glad to see this place is still around!!I still prefer a real book, vs digital. Theres nothing like the feel and smell of a real book!Staff were friendly and helpful.

I love this store. Many times I will just go in there for hours to look through their products. They have helped me many times while trying to find an item and are very courteous and professional when doing so. The only negative thing I could say is that a number of times I have gone to check out and have to look all over to find someone to check me out.

I love bookstores and definitely dont get to go nearly as often as Id like. This Books-A-Million store in Bradenton may not look like much from the outside, and its hard to see from the road, but its awesome, and I highly recommend it! The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and the selection of books and other items is great!

Millions of books to choose from. Very quite clean store to relax and read a book. I believe there is a coffee shop inside the store along with them selling pastries and cakes.

I was there for about 2 hours !! They have a Little bit of everything in the book storeThey buy books also - will Try it out next time which is a good idea to Get some credit for more books . They also have a small coffee shop and seating area . Employees are attentive because two different employees came around to ask me if I needed help . Definitely great customer service and fast check out

Its nice... Good selections on black history. And a big selection of manga books. Its quiet its very organized not messy at all. I just wish they had more on real estate books not on real estate exams.

Love shopping here. Can find great deals on books and unique finds on gift ideas. There is a large assortment of greeting cards too. There staff are helpful, nice environment to shop in. My past few times going it wasnt crowded either!

The store is clean and easy to find what you are looking for. We went looking for my 4th grader, lots of variety to choose from. They buy books and sell pre-owned. We were able to save money purchasing a preowned book.

This place is a hidden gem for book stores these days. This place greatly outdoes the new Barnes n Nobles by the UTC mall in terms of selection. Tables are limited in the coffee area due to the current environment and the service in this area is average. The amount of books, manga, comics, magazines, graphic novels etc is better than any place in a good hour radius.

We have never been to books-a-million but WOW what we were missing!! This place puts Barnes & Noble to shame....it doesnt look as big as it really is from the outside but the inside is a humongous wonderland of books and pop culture decor...we needed two baskets just for all of the $3-$5 hardcover books we found (waaaaay cheaper than any other book store) and then there were huge sections of pop culture decor like Funko Pops and Harry Potter decor...we got like 3 or 4 canvas wall art pieces and some funk pops too....we became members at checkout just because we know we will be back regularly. So glad we found this place!!!

I found the staff welcoming and helpful. I found the Delorme topo atlas of Flordia that I had thought I wanted. I did not but buy it because it lacked contour lines.

You still have comics, so yes I love it.

The best thing that sets this book store apart is the Scrabble group that meets there on Thursday afternoons at 1:30.They are very sociable and for every skill level.This place has a huge book inventory.A so so Cafe is also part of this chain operation.A good place to buy a book or sit down and play a game.

Great selection on about any interest you have and enormous choices to select from! Found a special Bible I was looking for to give as a useful present👏 Wanted it engraved, but they dont do engraving; however they do have alternatives!!!

This store has changed over the years from a straight forward book store to being more of a novelty store with books added as a bonus. That is not a bad thing, but, having gone to this store over 15 years now, we can see how things have changed. Sometimes change is good, and only time will tell if the changes made at this store will help keep it around!

It is a very nice place and most of the staff are very helpful. However, l had a very bad experience on my last visit (which was June 16, 2020) and that is the reason why I gave them 2 stars. When we were at the store, it was about to be close and we were in a hurry. I have bought some books for my son and I wanted to buy a book for myself. One of the staff came and asked whether I have needed something. I have asked the name of the book and he searched and showed me where it is.When I was going to register, I have realized that the prize is more than what I expected, and I decided not to buy it. As soon as, I told that I will not buy the book (not the one that I bought for my son) the cashier began to give me an attitude. During this time, my son (4 years old) messed up some the organization of the pens next to the cashier which was less than 10 pens. After that, he gave us a pfffft sound. My wife got upset for his behavior and began to fix but he said he is going to fix. When we were going out, he threw the book on the table and we heard the sound even though we are far from him.As I mentioned, it is very nice place and we spend sometime in this store but the attitude of that cashier was unacceptable.

Usually a great place to go for books and magazines, as of late the selection of magazine seems to be dwindling.

We cant tell you why.The atmosphere is comfortable, friendly and customers do their own thing in their own time. Perhaps the location of the coffee shop, right as you enter, invites casual conversation. The staff is very helpful. My husband and I love browsing there

Being at the store is always a pleasure, and nobody bothers you unless you go ask for help.However, I called to see if they had a self-help book, and since I described it as a planner, Eugene on the phone refused to look it up. “We don’t have inventory on planners.” I tried to explain more clearly that it was a self help book to plan for 12 weeks at a time... Wouldn’t even humor me! “No, I’m sorry, that won’t be in our inventory. It’s seasonal.” At that point, it seemed pointless to continue to reason with him.

It is magic to be there with all the books and people around it creates a very special atmosphere.

I love coming to this bookstore. I can easily find everything Im looking for. The staff is really friendly and helpful.

I found the place to be rude and unfriendly. They insulted me and made bad comments about the elderly. I would not recommend them to anyone based on my experience with them. I was not going to Books A Million but to take my mom to hearing aid doctor and they having the only handicap place to let them out they refused to let me park there to help my mom get to their office. They told me I couldnt park there and they didnt care about my 93 year old mother whos on a walker. I used to shop there but no more.

My first time visiting was pretty nice store overall they have a lot of selection on books and authors. The people in the cafe did an amazing job they were nice and helpful not so nice were the people at the customer service were questionable. Over very satisfied at the book store.

I have always loved BAM and have visited this location several times. Each time has been pretty good- the employees are nice and so are the customer service representatives. The first problem I ran into was when I went in a couple days ago for their buyback program. The manager (Vanessa), who ran that section, was late to work by about 10 minutes. That was fine, I understand it happens. However, she was rude to me when I was making an effort to be patient after Id been waiting for her for several minutes. I asked her several questions about the program and she seemed impatient with me and made no effort to explain anything. Ive done buyback at other places before and just was wondering how this was different. Then she actually started processing my books, without giving me a time estimate. About ten minutes after I figured out why she didnt give me a time estimate- she was talking with her co-workers instead of working on processing the books. I wouldnt have particularly cared if shed given me an estimate so I could have come back, but she didnt, so Id just been sitting in the store, waiting. When I finally went to check back at the counter, shed finished and seemed to be making an extra effort to be nice, which made me wonder if she felt guilty for being rude to begin with or perhaps guilty for neglecting her job. Needless to say, I wont be doing buyback at this store again. I wish this experience had been much better because the rest of the employees seem very understanding and considerate.

Been there 2 or 3 times and the staff doesnt seem to care if they help you or not and if you do ask for help its like youre putting them out. Will not go back to this location. Will go to another Books a Million or Barnes & Noble were service is helpful.

Love the wide selection of books as well as DVDs.There is also a coffee bar with the option of sitting inside or out.The staff was very friendly and helpful :)
