I came in as I could not get my key out the ignition. Out of desperation, I drove to the nearest Volkswagen dealer and I received prompt attention and despite that they were busy with their service appointments they managed to replace what needed to be replaced and I was able to get my car back before they closed. Let me not forget their shuttle service. Great accommodations and the driver very professional. I would definitely come back to this location. Great customer service.

Bro, this place is rundown and subpar. They all are narthargic and you kind of get the feeling youre in a funeral home when u are in the building. Quiet to the max. The salesman seem overworked and underpaid. I wasnt impressed as I had pre-approval from an outside bank and they ignored that fact and tried to get me on there financing but I did not agree ..I picked and walked and will likely never go back. We had agreed with a sales rep on the phone to go purchase a very specific Tiguan in stock for my daughters first car. He was aware of the importance of this specific car and trim, etc. I had asked to be notified on any action on the car. I would have put money down if asked. Before we could purchase the car the next day, we were driving to the dealership- the manager transferred the car to another dealer. Bob Boast is unethical. I would never trust any of their managers with an important car purchase.

My parents recently bought a used vehicle at this dealership and to my comfort I found out they were matched with a nice and friendly salesman. I had concerns because I’ve worked at several dealerships as a tech and even sold cars myself. My parents told me Dave Rook did an awesome job and tried to cater to their needs and worked with them. My folks obviously wanted a better deal but the way they were treated was superb and I’m happy. They are happy, too. Thank you Dave for your effort and treating my parents nicely.

Do not trust this dealer. Bate and Switch tactics! Got an internet offer on a new Jetta for my daughter from the internet sales manager around 6 pm the night before arriving at the dealer. The next morning at the dealership after I had presented a copy of the offer I was presented a contract with price about $1500. Higher than the offer the night before. The salesman acknowledged they had made the offer the night before but says the manager will not honor it since it was the last SE they had.

Way over priced. Prices list online do not include labor. A simple oil change was a $120, when online stated $69. Technicians disconnected a wire and then forgot to plug it back in, causing a second, out of the way, trip. Will NEVER return.

They are very liars before the sale and are very bad in the treatment after the sale. I bought an Atlas 2021 car and the salesperson prayed that the car could become seven or six seats, so I chose it to be seven seats and we agreed on that before ending the sale, but I was surprised. When I receive it as it is only six seats, and when I spoke with the seller, his response and the manager was very bad because I have already completed the sale and if I want seven seats above to sell this car to them and I buy another one that is more expensive, they are false fraudsters and I will file a complaint To protect the consumer

This review is long long over due. Little more than a year ago my daughter wanted a new VW Jetta. So we went to our local VW dealer south of manatee county. Where we were treated like rabid animals. The sales person didn’t listen to what we explained to him and ultimately after being offered half what our trade was worth “as a starting point” the salesman explained. I had told him I’d been buying cars for a long time. I wasn’t going to play games. I don’t have time for it and just treat me fair and I will be reasonable. So after a little screaming and disrespect. We left. Now when your little girl wants what she wants you try and make her happy. Otherwise it would have been my last experience at a VW dealer for a while.So we went up to Bob Boast where we met a great sales guy who new his product and his inventory really well. His name is Mark. He then pulled no punches and gave us we thought was a fair offer on our car and a great discount on the new one. We were thrilled. Mark got our paperwork done and in we went to the finance office. Where we were offers stuff but I didn’t feel like I was being drug across the hot coals. At this point maybe we had been there more than little more than an hour. When we got out of signing for the car we came out or née car was gassed up clean. Really clean. Mark went over the car with my daughter. He took time to explain the features and how it worked. My daughters questions were answered and we were done. So the moral of my story is, if you like to play games and that B.S. then by all means go someplace else. If you want to be treated fairly the go see Mark at Bob Boast. Oh and my daughters service experience has been great. I mean we have not had any issues with the car, just oil changes. But again I like the way they treated my Daughter. So thank Bob Boast staff. You are doing a great job.

From the moment we walked in we looked at a Jetta and were standing in the showroom for a few minutes. No one came out to greet us or even ask if we needed help, and keep in mind when we walked in there wasnt many customers and 3-4salesmen were in an office together watching something on a computer. My husband walked to your sales managers desk to ask for help and after that we were introduced to Joe ( which was one of people in the office). I was frank with Joe telling him we are looking for a Jetta we need to figure out trim etc. And you were our first stop, but we were looking to make a deal that day or the next. After we decided on the SEL I told him to get me pricing, he ask for credit score and a few other things, went to the managers desk and came back quickly with a poor attitude. His response was I needed to make a decision that I would buy there or he wouldnt give me pricing, because he didnt want me to shop. Like I had told him previously we were going to shop as you were out first stop. He insisted he would not give me pricing as his owm words I am not going to waste my time if your going to buy because they are $100 cheaper. That was the clear breaking point for my husband and I.Either way we ended up going to sunset VW after we left your showroom and purchased a Jetta SEL, where we were greeted immediately and had a salesman that knows how to negotiate and make a deal happen vs bobs apparently lack luster salesperson and showroom staff.

Michael and Vivian on the Service team went above and beyond to help us out when our car was making a funny noise and some lights came on while we were on our way through to Miami. They were courteous and responded quickly to our needs and got us back on the road within no time! Perfect service! Perfect customer service! The best thing about them was the huge smile on their faces even though it was later in the day. They quickly identified our issues and got it fixed even quicker! I would highly recommend! This was the best service I’ve had at a VW dealership.

I brought my 2019 Tiguan (one of four cars we have leased from this dealership) for an oil change and tire rotation on June 4. I was told the.car was not really due for an oil change even though light was on (it only had 4789 miles) but that tires would be rotated and multi-point inspection would be done. Saturday morning June 13 the engine coolant light came on. When my husband looked under the hood the cap for the coolant was off and the coolant tank was almost empty. The cap was tucked back on the engine. We had to go to Autozone and purchase coolant. The checkout sheet I was given shows this (fluids) was checked. Additionally, while not as important, I was told the car would be washed and it was not. Called to report this issue to the service manager and was told by the woman who answered that she would “pass this information along”. Steve B. returned my call that evening and apologized and offered to “re-service” the car, flush the coolant, and provide a loaner car while that’s being done.

My experience was with the Parts dept specifically the manager. Very knowledgeable about his brand and products super helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Well done Mr. Alvarez.

Brought my Tiguan in due to the check engine light being on, was told that the check engine light was on due to the gas cap not being screwed on correctly and was charged $61.48. Steve with Bob Boast called me the next day and apologized for the charge and mailed a refund check. Thank you Steve!

The people at Boast were easy to work with, friendly and non-pressuring. They quickly worked out a deal that was very competitive. They appeared to really care that you were purchasing the car you wanted and happy with the decision rather than just make a sale. We traveled to Tampa thinking wed get a better deal; but, we found that staying local proved to be the better choice. My mom and I came in for two Tiguans after having a random rapid expansion of our family from 1 to 3 kids overnight. Dave and Mike both made the experience easy and painless. Mike at the Garages service desk was particularly helpful. I had to leave my car overnight and I had no easy way of getting back home. Mike arranged for the courtesy car to take me home.He even offered to have someone pick me up the next day. But I declined as I was able to arrange my own transportation.The repairs were done professionally, and I am happy with what was done.

Started going here for service on my daughters somewhat dated new beetle convertible they were usually able to find ways to save me some money. Very helpful but more importantly they do great work.Recently traded in her beetle on a new model. I hate buying new cars, it is never a pleasant experience. This time was different. We explained what we could afford and what she wanted in a car. Our salesman pointed out the cars that he felt he had room to make the deal work. Sat down and were able to quickly work out a deal on the car without playing the back and forth games. I highly recommend this dealership. Originally stoped in just to see what they had and was honestly expecting to drive up to a bigger dealer in Tampa. They showed me exactly how wrong my perception that bigger is better was.

Ugh, what a place. I never got out of the service bay for under a $1000. After my last oil change I was told my car needed $4600 worth of work. I took it to a local mechanic who said my car only needed a couple of hoses: parts and labor? $460.00. Way less than Boast. Will never go back.

Had a routine service appointment on a Saturday morning, the staff was very accommodating to letting me drop off earlier than my scheduled time. The staff is very friendly and explains all that is being done. When I returned not only was my routine service taken care of, but extra work had been done that I had not even noticed on my car for no charge. My car was very clean and the whole experience was great, will continue to have my service done at Boast.

Expensive service department. I feel they take advantage when something goes wrong. A nice lady called after my last service and asked how everything was and if I was satisfied. She asked if I could give them a good rating on their service department survey for VW corporate. When I told her I was unhappy she never sent the link for the survey. Now you know how they win awards for their great service.

Originally had an appointment set for Friday to address a recall issue and possible battery issue with my vehicle. Monday evening after work, I attempted to crank my car, and nothing, except for indications on the dashboard display that didn’t look good!!! I called Boast Service department and spoke to Jocelyn again (sorry if spelling is incorrect) and she advised that I have the car towed to them ASAP, but they may not be able to get to it until Wednesday.Car was towed Monday evening after business hours so it would be there for them on Tuesday morning. No biggie as far as not getting to it right away, I understand it is getting “worked in”.I didn’t expect to have a call from them yesterday, but they were able to address the issues (All under warranty) and I had my car back yesterday evening!Great customer service and they get things done! Took a test drive with a guy named Gary I think. The guy wasted my time made me think they could finance a car that they wanted to sell for cash and they never mentioned that once during my hours there. He felt the need to run my credit over 10 times to over 10 different banks/institutions as well, my actual bank I use had to ask me multiple times if it was fraud because the guy ran my credit so many times. Thanks for running my score down a good 80 plus points for nothing lol.

STAY FAR AWAY! this is my 5th Jetta and I went to Sunset VW because of the horrible customer service and high prices. I save $3000 by going to Sunset. Bob Boast worked with me by emailing after my visit. Not even a phone call let alone a Meeting In person. They also didn’t work with me as far as pricing or options. I bought the same car for less by not using them. Trust me. I’ve been working with VW for 15 years consecutive, go anywhere but here.

They are helpful, friendly, very generous, knowledge-able, and HONEST.......which is more than I can say for the VW dealer near where I live (Brandon, FL)! ...They give fast, efficient service and help to save you money in every way they can......(.I commute a long way..... just to bring my car to them when it needs service!)
