Charged me $100 to fill my brake fluid reservoir. I know the 1 hour labor charge is for diagnostic but I’m guessing that took 5 minutes or less. I know a lot of shops that wouldn’t have even charged for something like this. At least it fixed my problem and they were quick about it, except for the 6 week wait to get an appointment.

Outstanding shop. Very professional and they do high quality work. They did a front end alignment on my 2018 F-150. On the way home I let go of the wheel on a straight section of road. It stayed dead center in the lane for over a quarter of a mile. Awesome.

I was in a pinch and needed my trucks fuel pump, and some steering components replaced, I was not able to get into B & L quickly and tried another shop...big mistake. First day of having my truck in my possession resulted in a tow, it was running very rough and wouldnt stay on the road when going faster than 30mph.. When asked where I wanted it taken, I told them B & L. B & L was able to correct everything the other shop fell short on. They contacted me about everything that need to be done at every step, were patient and answered my questions. B & L was able to fit my truck in quickly and when I got it back I couldnt believe it, they got my truck running and driving better than ever. I will never take my vehicles any where else. Ten stars in my book!

So, initially I was pretty okay with this place. I took my vehicle there to get diagnostics and fix my turn signals that stopped working. I also had issue with the power not working in the cig lighter thing. They identified the issues and fixed the power issue and said theyd call me when the part they needed came in. I waited a whole month before I decided to call and see what the holdup was, and then I was told having issues with supplier, well call you by end of day with update and then nothing. This was January-Feb and my blinkers still dont work

Always been honest and very upfront with me. My preference in mechanics.

Had the rear wheel bearings go out on my 05 2500hd. Made a appointment with b&l because they came highly recommend and i was not disappointed. The bill was exactly what they quoted me. One day service and the front office was just good to work with. Definitely would recommend them to anyone else.

I cannot stress enough how amazing this shop is. I need a water pump replacement for my car and was quoted at 750, they called and said the s belt also needed to be replaced and that bumped the quote to 850, when I picked up my car, turns out, they over quoted me and all in all, it was cheaper than the original quote. Not only that, they had my car fixed way sooner than they said they would. I wont go to any other mechanic from here on out. These people are efficient and trustworthy. I recommend calling sooner rather than later as they were booked out for two weeks, but you cant blame them for being successful, if anything that should be a good sign. 10/10.

I was recommended to this shop by a friend and I am so happy! The check engine light came on in my vehicle so I called and was told to come on over. Wes came out and not only explained what was going on but answered all of my questions and thoroughly explained how things worked in the engine. He ultimately filled my oil-at no charge to me and told me what to look for in the future. I would highly recommend them.

Sorry to disagree with so many good reviews but my experience was not good at B&L. Work on our 04 Forester that was estimated to cost $1200. for straightforward repairs was finally billed at near double that with no explanation. We have not been back there again.

Five stars are just not enough to show how much I appreciate Ken and his staff. They are consistently trustworthy and do high quality work without robbing me. I recently had a troublesome issue with my Cadillac. B & Ls original quote was 1/3 of what Cadillac was going to charge. And then!!!! when I went to pick up my car, the charge was even less than the original estimate. They never try to hard sell me on all the things that other shops have done. They make my car dependable, get me back on the road, and without my life savings depleted. THANK YOU! B & L!!!!

Brent and Ken were both awesome! I dropped my car off around 11:30AM without an appointment due to a cooling system issue and ended up needing a new radiator. I was more than fine waiting a few days to get my car back because I knew they were pretty booked, but was pleasantly surprised to get a call at 4:30PM that same day to let me know that my new radiator had been put in and that my car was ready to be picked up. They were recommended to me by my employer, and I would gladly recommend them in turn to anyone who is looking for friendly, accommodating and efficient mechanics.

I was also recommended from several people and was very happy with the service. Natasha at the front desk was very helpful, Most mechanics talk down to you and make you fell dumb, but she was very cool and explained everything. 100% would recommend them.

Believe everything the radio commercial tells you! Ken is great and took the time (a lot of time) to explain my lemon’s issues and my options. Every time I called to check in on the progress I was met by the most helpful and kind staff. Honda needs to take notes. Kudos to B&L for the time they spent and the customer care. So many times I have gone to recommend these guys only to find out the person Im talking to has also had an amazing experience with these guys. Honest, Fast, Great people. B&L is a great place! We brought our son to Montana State from Colorado, and along the drive his brand-new radiator blew. We limped into town, and B&L worked with our mechanic in Colorado to get the warranty replacement in one week. They were friendly and very helpful. We are happy that our son has a place to take his Cruiser when needed. We couldnt have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend them!

B&L is is an awesome repair place for autos. They tell you the truth and if they dont think its worth fixing, but if you want it fixed they will fix it. Weve had two vehicles in that situation where they dont think its worth fixing and they will tell you. They will not rip you off at all. Awesome customer service and everything. Very much like a Mom and Pop place.

I have been taking my vehicles to B&L Auto since 2010. Even though it’s a long drive for me & there are many other auto shops I could take my car to (and randomly have over the years) I always choose B&L Auto as my first choice. I know that B&L Auto will look over my entire car and let me know anything that is wrong with it. They don’t nitpick at shallow things like your air filters (unless necessary) but help fix things so that you always feel confident that you’re driving a vehicle that is safe to take on the road.They have helped teach me how to be a better car owner; keeping it well maintained and being aware of any safety hazards. I always feel completely comfortable with calling them over the phone and bringing it in when I think something is wrong. My dad loves these guys because they have always taken such good care of us: they are honest, straightforward and don’t sugar coat things. You come to trust them because even if a mistake is made they will always make things right. That’s the kind of auto shop that will keep my business- at the end of the day we’re all apart of the same community and B&L Auto does a splendid job of keeping new and long standing customers alike happy and feeling safe on the road.

I wasnt entirely happy with the service in hindsight. I came in for an all wheel drive alignment and charged full price, which is fine. I was then told it was only slightly off in camber and they didnt know how to fix it. I then show the dealership the alignment report and they say its within tolerance. So there goes $155...um thanks I guess?

Had a long trip planned and they looked over my truck. Found some issues with the brakes and fixed them in the same day! Ken was great at explaining things. I will definitely be a return customer.

Bent & Ken are always honest. They will find the best option to fix any problem. They will fix it and only charge for that repair. And it will be a reasonable amount. I would give them 10 stars.

These guys are the best mechanics in the Gallatin Valley! Unfortunately I have had the need to use them frequently. Very knowledgeable, experienced, fair priced and can work on just about anything that comes in the door. Plus if they dont think they can solve the problem--they know where to refer stuff too ( e.g. deep transmission problems). Whether it is a basic brake job to a major engine swap they can do it. Just look at literally the tons of tools/diagnostic gear they have setting around that shop--truly craftsman of their trade. Forewarning--they are busy--if you have time on your side it is good to make an appointment. In closing--for the first timers--their business location can be hard to find but it will be well worth you while. Five star rating--well deserved!!

We came in with engine/transmission making weird sounds and we had no idea whats going on. They were overbooked, they spent about 20 minutes with us listeing to engine/transmission and trying to figure out what is going on with it despite that they were overbooked. We got advices and tips about it. They were really friendly and helpfull!! Thank you for that, you made our trip much better.

Referred to B&L by Big Sky Diesel Performance & Repair after Daniel repaired the truck overheating issue. B&L tested the AC system that had also gone out, evacuated and repressurized it, refilled freon and tested for leaks. Very fast (family sitting in the truck awaiting a fishing trip), honest, friendly and great price. Need more mechanics like these two in the world!

Well I go in to have my daughters vehicle looked at and the guy at the counter acts agitated and says he has to get the papers cleared off the counter before he can do a test drive. An older couple comes in and they spend the next 15 minutes talking about their trip to Colorado. Pretty disrespectful.

Just got my good ol 1990 BMW 325 front end alignment here, it was pulling badly and the steering wheel was crooked after I replaced some suspension parts on the car myself. These guys were extremely friendly and generous with their time in helping me to understand what they were going to be doing.After the alignment the car tracks perfectly straight and the steering wheel is level. They even rotated the tires for me since having driven it out of alignment for a bit too long, the rear tires were in better shape to be on the front.Needless to say Im very happy with B & L. Very comfortable doing business with them and was treated fairly on the price. I would give them 10 stars if it were an option! BTW, In asking around when deciding who to use for the alignment, several shops and parts stores mentioned B & L as one of the only places they would take a car to get it aligned. Their reputation among people in the auto repair business is top notch.

Damaged my car when removing the wheel locks to repair my alignment. The front right wheel was damaged and nothing was done to rectify it. I talked to the owner for a half hour and still ended up paying more than the original estimate and walked away with a damaged wheel he refused to do anything about.
