He could not help me due to my remote start being an after market model, which is fine. But he was rude and impatient in every interaction. ADDED: I was very cordial while listening to him, even though he was being short with me and rude. I asked if I could contact the installer and get the manual (his response: no), I asked if he new anybody in town that would be able to help me (his response: no). So I started to leave, and he could tell he had offended me and started trying to be nice. I listened to him and then left without saying thank you. Now he has commented on my review and is attacking me for being rude. I am in shock. What kind of business owner would do that?! There are other reviews by other people that comment on his rudeness. Obviously I am not alone in my experience.

I dont normally review businesses but I have to give these guys a huge public THANK YOU. My left headlight was dim and after a quick google search, I figured it was a grounding or alternator issue. I gave them a call and left a message, prepared to hand over half my weeks paycheck. They called me back and told me to check the headlight fuse, which had indeed burnt out. They saved me alot of money and time and I wanted to give them a shout out. Thank You RMS for being so honest. Seems like these guys have some great integraty. Thank you.

Wade is by far thee most honest mechanic I have ever come across. Hes personally invested into every car that comes into his shop and he takes pride in being able to diagnos and fix everything. Wade is the only person I will be taking my subaru to, do not hesitate to bring him your subaru

I recently made a diagnostic appointment with Wade for a second opinion, given that hes a “Subaru specialist. When talking over the phone after he’d looked my car over, he was short and unhelpful. He wasn’t willing to discuss the issues he found with me, but discussed them in detail with my boyfriend. He mentioned he would provide estimates for the work required and never sent them. When I went to pick up the vehicle, he was again short and unfriendly in his interactions with me. There was no customer service and I felt like I was a burden to him, when I was perfectly happy to offer him my business. In my opinion, there are plenty of other Subaru specialists in the area who do just as good of a job and have a friendly, equitable demeanor.

Ive been going to RMS for years now. My older Subaru is still running strong with over 300,000 miles thanks to regular maintenance at RMS. My new Outback with just under 120k miles died on the highway on the Friday night of the New Years weekend and was towed to RMS. Wayd had it fixed and ready for pick up on Monday afternoon.

Wade is an excellent mechanic and a very trustworthy, honest businessman. He never does work that does not need done and is an expert on all things Subaru. His diagnosis is timely and in my experience spot on. His rates are reasonable as well. Five star review from now 21 people, he deserves it! He also gave me advice about a repair I was trying to do that was very helpful.

Wade has always been a great mechanic. I have taken my Subaru Outback twice now and each time, got the job done at a reasonable rate. Honestly, I wish I chose him every time. He has explained what went wrong and what needed to be done and in the case of last time, he told me which two parts needed to be replaced and told me which one was leaking more than the other and did not push me on any of the repairs. Wade is an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, which is hard to come by. We have taken our Tribeca here for major maintenance and a recent power steering overhaul. He doesnt try to sell us anything we dont need and his prices are reasonable.

My car had a sound which indicated a bad left rear wheel bearing. Since my old mechanic, Intensive Car, had the property their shop was on sold out from under them, I needed a new mechanic. I had tried Auto Stop, but they were very expensive.Since RMS had uniformly positive reviews I decided to give them a try. Wayd diagnosed the problem correctly and the cost for the repair was inline with what I expected ($435, I expected $400 - $500). I also got a full synthetic oil change at the same time and his price was as good as anyone else in town. He does good work and his prices are fair. RMS is my new mechanic.

You dont find people very often who are as helpful and care about their work like Wayd Walker at RMS, Inc does. I am not even a paying customer because I live across the country from him, but because I read some very helpful information he posted on a Fel-Pro blog about Subaru engine repairs (head gaskets, specifically) I searched him out, found his number, called and left a message, and within a short time, he called me back, knowing he was just giving his time to help someone he didnt even know. He gladly shared information I needed and gave me tips on things he has learned about Subaru head gaskets. (Use the Subaru OEM gasket!) I will be following his advice on our faithful old 99 Subaru Forester, and I expect Ill remember Wayd for a long time just because he was so helpful. If I were in Bozeman, he is the guy Id be going to for work on our cars! Hope I get to go west one day and meet him, but hopefully not caused by a roadside break-down! :-)
