Two days your closed in a row with people trying to get in with nothing but excuses on the door. Must have real bad luck. Wonder of its covid related

We had one of the rudest customer experiences of my life for absolutely no reason. I think her name is Cam, up front at the register. She blatantly ignored my wife asking a simple question, and just stared at me. I said “She’s trying to ask you a question” but she snapped back saying “Can you pay first?” Not sure why she can’t answer a simple question WHILE I’m paying but apparently it’s not possible. Then was just very rude and short with us for NO REASON. We were very polite and were there for not even 1 minute up front. Cam, you are absolutely terrible with human interactions, and if you’re usually not, I don’t know what your issue was with us. I wonder if she’s ever had another complaint but she’s just extremely rude because she wants to be, I guess.

Ginny, or whoever the older woman here with med length brown hair and bangs was SUPER rude and unfriendly. Her line didnt have an on light so I went to the other line. Made a couple glances at her and she looked at me and didnt say anything. When she was done with her customer she walked to the line and was going to take the gentleman in front of me, who was about to be rang out. I put my basket on the belt so she could ring that up first and she showed the basket back at me, to ring up my poster and foam boards. She asked how many I had and I told her 9. She rudely repeated it back. She then DUMPED all my things from the basket onto the belt. And if I had fragile items? The badminton racquets got stuck so she is standing there shaking the rest ofy things out the basket. When receipt printed she made a shoo gesture at it and me. And upon leaving, a little girl was waiting to ask a question and she rudely answered that little girl. What kind of service is going on here?!

Some of this stuff is useful and its good to have low prices for those of us who have little money but its also full of just horrible junk from China its polluting the world, overall its got a lot of useless junk but that one thing that you need is probably there.

The store is chaos from the empty shelves to the long cashier lines. A female cashier said, “I’m 30 minutes over my shift” but didn’t put up a closed sign. Then she continues to hand pick who she is going to check out and who she isn’t. She literally had two people cut me, checked them out, and told me she was not going to check me out. So I move lanes to the only other one open with 9 people in it in front of me (yes I counted) and half the people in the previous lane cut me. I remember when Boulder used to be a polite and kind place to live but it has changed. Moral of the story....don’t go here unless you’re retired or have a lot of extra time on your hands. I was late to a work meeting because of this chaos. I waited in line for 17 minutes.

Great place to find the essentials that would cost you three or four times as much at a chain store

Horrible. Avoid at all cost. Products are fine but staff is beyond rude.

The staff wasnt wearing masks properly. Patrons didnt maintain social distancing adequately and the staff didnt say anything to help the situation. I dont feel that theres a good selection at this location and often shelves are half empty at best.

Once and awhilethey are terrible but alot have such great stuff. Wish i had one in Hawaii

Always enjoy shopping at the $ store. They are currently rearranging the store set up. Lots of valentines day and st Patricks day decor.

I try to support this particular Boulder store so it stays around! They (used to) have a solid inventory, at, well, super cheap prices. Sadly though, tonight was the 4th time in the last several months that when I made a special trip over that they closed before the posted regular hours of operation. It is a pain. I gave feedback to the store manager who had good reasons, for the last 3. Its just finally tiring. The staff there is helpful and have great attitudes, but leaving early is a drag. It was only inconvenient for me personally 2 out of the 4 times. Bad business practice though. Also the current inventory is sloppy and depleted. Maybe its a CV19 issue. Could very well be. So...the rating? I am so glad they are around, but the dependability has been disappointing.

GET NEW STAFF! The worst experience I have ever had at a store. I asked one of the employees if the balloons I was going to purchase could be blown up for me. The lady said yes and that I just needed to purchase them first hand. Two minutes after purchasing them the lady hid in the office for fifteen minutes then completely ignored me when she walked out. When I approached her she said the balloons couldnt be blown up and that I couldnt return them only exchange them. She didnt even apologize but instead got into defense mode. When I tried to exchange them at the register they told me I couldnt because they never gave me my receipt. Then when the manager came to help she joked about having covid. Almost all of the staff is very unprofessional and rude.

Busy of course but AWESOME!! EVERY SINGLE THING is $1. Dangerous store.. Be careful!! 🤪😜🤑

The store overall is a great little spot for some seasonal, party, or household items. I’m appreciative for a spot like this in Boulder. All of the staff are pretty friendly and helpful, and the store is pretty clean compared to most other dollar stores I’ve seen. My main reason for writing this review is because of one staff member. I believe she is a manager and tends to work nights. I’ve seen interactions between her and cashiers several times that are uncalled for. She tends to be consciously oblivious to what is going on in the store by leaving cashiers to fend for themselves with the longest lines I’ve seen in such a small store. As someone who’s worked in retail/customer service for 15 years, I feel inclined to let it be known that she seems to not be a good person for her position. I’ve even heard fellow customers complain about her more than a few times, so I think the upper management needs to reevaluate her behavior and possibly her employment. Major shout out to the Manager Vince, though. He is the real MVP of that store and I know he is the glue that holds it all together.

Great typical Dollar store that still had some TP in stock during this time of national crisis. This location has a little bit of everything you might need to keep you entertained while practicing good social distancing. Both employees we had interactions with were extremely polite and courteous.

I really love Dollar tree they have more and more items all the time. It is such a relief to have a place I can shop in Boulder. I certainly can never shop on the Pearl Street Mall it is outrageously expensive as are many you stores and novelty stores. Dollar tree is a reasonable and fun place to shop where I can get things I need and stuff for fun. Why would anyone go anywhere else for things like wrapping paper or cards?! And if you have children to be able to spend just five bucks and get 5 toys is amazing!

Theres no other place in Boulder to get a six pack of waters for one dollar. Selection of gifts, candy, toys, bathroom necessities is moderately good here. They even have frozen dinners and some dairy items for folks walking over from Homewood.

Very good place to get things at a low price. The quality isnt always %100 for all products, but very good for the cost. The staff is always helpful and nice to talk to as well.

The people in check-out didn’t meet my request, even they didn’t explain or care!I purchased a goggle for my 4-year-old, but it didn’t fit, and wanted to change it with a bigger one (not return, change!!!) just right after 2 hours I got it, I brought my receipt and the googgle&package which I already opened very carefully(just in case)!!!!!But cashier ladies even didn’t listen to me and tried to blame because I didn’t correct the goggle to fit on my kid!!!! What a stupid policy!!!!!!!Anyway!!!!I don’t think so I’ll stop by to Boulder Dollar Tree which is in the same shopping center with Safeway in Baseline&Foothills!

Still has plenty if snacks during this trying time, however staff are spreading false information. It is not a mandate to wear a mask in public. It is highly adviseable, however, considering how ineffective putting a t-shirt over ones face is, no one should be feeling unwelcome or uncomfortable if they do not have ready access to masks at this time. Check your facts, please.

Not the best Dollar tree Ive been in staff not knowledgeable or even willing to help. Supplies just shoved on shelves in boxes worries me that they dont know what f.i.f.o. is. Also couldnt find things at this store that I buy from other Dollar trees. Hope yall fix the problems

This dollar store is a life-saver in the Boulder area. You will find TP, napkins, Mason jars, garden materials, kitchen towels for real cheap.

So glad theres finally a dollar tree in Boulder. Store is well stocked and clean, the store workers are nice, and there are a number of good products for cheap (important when youre paying a huge part of your paycheck to rent).

This dollar store is very clean good but very bad service with me and my family were going to pay and the Employee decided to call the people that were behind us we were very confused at first then ask why and she said they should be first because there white people you Mexican and you don’t have the same rights as we have this was our second time that this happened to us and in the same dollar store we were mad I left the store.

I always find what Im looking for and the staff is always friendly.
